Hi there!  I'm a mature player looking for a game with people who love the comraderie of roleplay. I enjoy a game that is heavy RP balanced with combat, problem solving, political intrigue, travel, survival or whatever aspects the GM wants to put our merry band up against.  I'm in your world now.  I love homebrews and I'm looking for a sandbox game with an experienced GM who understands and values player agency. Play Style:  I'm serious about having fun.  I'm low maintenance and I fit well into most groups that are focused on the campaign at hand.  I'm a stickler about showing up on time to every session. I put a good effort into making my characters as much for for the GM and other players are they are for me. I'm not much of a min/maxer. I don't know the powerful builds as I tend to add to my characters in a manner consistent with their back story.  I write modest back stories and try to include multiple hooks that the GM might choose to use somewhere along the road.  I prefer to see a good story or interesting outcome rather than fuss over rules.  I tend to get in character and stay in character for an entire session.   Don't ask me for a character concept until I have some understanding of the campaign lore.  I like to create characters that feel part of the world. Themes:  I'm less interested in modern settings or horror, more interested in traditional high fantasy. Experience: I was first introduced to DnD5e online at the front end of the pandemic and have played multiple games since then.  I have GMed homebrews in 5e on several occasions, but my first choice now and forever is to participate as a member of the party. I prefer Foundry VTT, but I have participated in past games using Roll20 and DndBeyond.  I have fairly in depth knowlege of the inner workings of FVTTv12/13.  I have my own Foundry server currently running v14 with no particular end in mind. Prefered Times:  I'm in Ontario Canada (UTC-4) and would prefer games that were afternoons or evenings local time.  North American games or evening UK/EU games can fit my schedule nicely.  I'm available any day except Thursday.   My ideal schedule would be a weekly game of at least 3-4 hours.  I'm not adverse to longer sessions, provided we have appropriate intermissions. My Setup:  I have a nice quiet office and professional studio quality audio chain.  I don't use a web cam. Objective:  I'm looking forward to meeting new people, making new online friends and either joining a fresh campaign or fitting in to one already in progress.  If we're a good fit, I'll stick around for multiple campaigns.  I'm in this for the long haul. You can refer to me as Grizz or Doom, either nickname works until we get to know each other better.  To get the essentials out of the way; My most experiance is in DnD 5e by far with a few campaigns and plenty of characters beneath my belt. I have dabbled a little in Cybperunk Red & Vampire the Masqurade, though not a full game as of yet. I am a detailed and literate roleplayer with eight years experiance with an average post length of one to two paragraphs that can easily adjust according to scene and pacing. I'm hoping to find someone experianced in GURPS to show me the rulset and teach me about that TTRPG. Be it a one shot or a long term campiagn between us - I have heard a lot of stuff relating to GURPS character creation and the sheer amount of veriaty you could make in it. Hello, there!  I am a veteran player (38-years-old) who switched to D&D 5.5 ever since its release and has played sessions weekly (even multiple times a week). My window of availability is between 6 AM and 11:30 AM, and between 2 PM and 10:30 PM, CET times. I like exploration and all kinds of discoveries. I enjoy RP the most when it furthers the characters, the campaign's story or both. I like combat especially when it mixes in interesting mechanics and objectives, and when I can be creative in my descriptions and my actions. I love overcoming challenges, whatever form they take, through teamwork and preparation. I like believable character actions, because I value immersion a lot, which is why I generally prefer a serious tone over a silly one. Jokes are more than fine, but I much prefer it when they don't undercut tense and emotional moments. As a player, I'm committed, invested in the story and a note-taker, I gravitate the most towards themes related to morality, knowledge/lore and creativity/art, I take my time to gather information and strategize, and I'm good-aligned pretty much always. I never come into a campaign with a clear idea on what character to play, as I very much enjoy trying to weave species, class, concept and backstory with the campaign's world, letting the latter inspire character creation itself. So I tend to ask some questions after I join a new game, to get a better idea and then decide, with an eye on party composition as well. As a person, I'm a big believer in fairness, I'm as anti-toxicity as it gets, and I'm respectful, inclusive, punctual and communicative.

Hello, everyone! My online name is Goose, and I'm in my early 20s. I have absolutely zero experience with TTRPGs, outside of watching some campaigns on YouTube. I'm most familar with DnD and DnD-related gameplay, but wouldn't mind learning other TTRPGs. I would love to join a group that is patient and willing to help me learn the game. Outside of TTRPGs, some of my interests includes: Anime (JJBA, Kamisama Kiss, Fullmetal Alchemist ), Video Games (Earthbound, My Time at Sandrock, FNAF), Pokemon, Podcasts (CreepCast, Smosh Reads Reddit Stories, Can't Sleep), and Niche Internet Fandom Events (like the Homestuck fan that tried to dye their skin gray in a bath of Sharpie mark ink for a cosplay).

Hi, I am an experienced D&D player who has also dabbled as a DM in the past. I have been playing on and off since high school (I am now in my 30s). My campaigns have often ended early due to real-life schedules, so while I enjoy the game deeply, my late-level experience is somewhat limited. However, I am hoping to find a group where we can build a story together that might go the distance. My favorite games focus on exploring player character backgrounds as part of the campaign narrative. I put a lot of work into character creation, so I value seeing that development happen for myself and my teammates. I would be interested in trying the Pathfinder 2E system or Daggerheart, but have no experience with those compared to 2014/2024 DnD 5e. A few notes about me: I tend to be soft-spoken with new people, but I warm up quickly once I get to know the group. Logistically, I am in the Eastern Time Zone and work typical office hours. Well met, stranger. I'm hiddenson. I've played different rpgs since the 90's, mostly as GM. I prefer GMing because I love world building and long-term campaigns. I revel in many layered plots that peel like a bag of onions, tuning preset worlds to my signature flavor of horror and hardcore mechanics. My style is deeply immersive, roleplay heavy, and Rule of Cool. I prefer acting in the first person with people who invest creativity in their characters. At the moment, I'd like to focus on horror games and Cyberpunk. I'd love to play other settings of the World of Darkness. I have extensive experience in Call of Cthulhu in the 1920's as well as in Cyberpunk 2020 so I'll adapt to new editions easily. Lastly, I have little to no experience in the other titles, but I'm eager to try them out. I lean into characters hungry for lore rather than riches. Think erudite professors risking their sanity in eldritch tomes, or tomb raiding archaeologists uncovering more than they bargained for. I recently launched a paid Vampire: The Masquerade Chronicle, so I'm willing to trade seats if our playstyles and game list match. Good day, My name is Adomas, a male in my late thirties. Born and raised in Lithuania but currently living in Norway. Languages: English (C1), Lithuanian (Mother tongue), Norwegian (B2), Russian (B1). Most suitable times for games: CET 20,00-00,00 (Mondays, Tuesdays, Sundays), would commit 1-2 days per week. Gaming experience: Mostly I'm interested in DnD 5e, DnD 5,5e. Currently playing a 3 year long campaign while meeting people physically and Curse of Strahd (online). + PC gaming like BG, Destiny, ect. Gaming role: Player (sadly but don't have enough time to DM). Party roles: flexible. Usually I can perform in different roles, depending on what is needed for the party. A few of my chars include: Dragonborn Oath of vengeance paladin (16lvl), Pallid elf Twilight Cleric (7lvl), Wood elf warrior/archer(7lvl). Need to mention that roles were used in the 5e setting. Due to the fact that usually I'm quite committed to the character my roleplay can be a bit lacking. What I mean by that - it's not that easy for me to take different social roles in a game (out of combat), for example, drunkard, foul ect. Usually my IRL personality reflects on my chars in-game. Personal traits reflected on characters: Neutral: Not motivated by in-game gold/wealth, personal growth is secondary, success of a party is a priority. Strong feeling of righteousness with a sprinkle of vengeance/sadism. Possitives: Logical/tactical thinking, encounter planning, decent decision making even in morally tough situations. Negatives: ‘’By the book’’ attitude - We should be clear with the rules before the game/gaming session and not change/homebrew them on the spot, in the middle of a fight or RP. Questioning DM / Game rules (abbilities, spells ect.) is a crucial process of learning and experiencing the game (IMHO), therefore there could be some discussions here and there. Few notes: There is no problem supporting GM financially. Have a few friends, with experience in DnD (1-2 additional players) if needed. I've played mainly Dnd 5th edition as both a player and a DM, and in the meantime I've learnt a couple other systems. I create and use a lot of homebrew in the campaigns I master, mostly things I have plucked from other systems. Combat/gameplay and RP are not mutually exclusive- I find that how/why a character fights is/should reflect who that character is, and the technical stuff -such as buildmaking- helps make a game satisfying. Hi! I'm Perdoc (m29) and I'm looking for my next online game and group! I recently moved and had to leave my in person group behind. I'm looking for a way to keep scratching an itch for storytelling and playing dnd. I've been playing since 2019. In that time I've run two 2-year long games, one online and one in person. Hello everybody! My name is Amethyst Pixels, but I also go by Amethyst or just Amepix for short. I'm a 21 year old trans woman who enjoys roleplaying, rpgs and all in all just having a good time and making friends. I've played in a few games with some friends, they were okay and I enjoyed them. But now that its wrapped up, I'm looking for new games here and maybe even possibly some new friends :3. I've only played D&D 5e due to that being what my friends used, and I have played a homebrewed system a few times in another campgain one of my other friends made but it kinda died out... But I'm opening to learning another system if I have to. I would prefer to play in a medieval fantasy type game. You know, with dragons, goblins, maybe even demons... the whole package. That kinda setting is something I deeply enjoy, and who doesn't love kingdoms and magic? Personally, the character I'm hoping to play at the moment is a Princess who sets out on an, in her words, 'Epic Journey'. I haven't built too much of her yet since from the fact she's a Princess, a whole royal family needs to be involed and that's.... a whole thing I'd have to talk about with a GM. What I have down for her now is she's a navie Princess who wants to become a hero like the knights she reads about in the castle's library; you know, the one's who slay dragons, defeat necromacners and all around save the day? Yeah... that's where I say she's a bit naive. Most of those stories are likley not even true but she's taking them as fact and truly believes herself to be fully capable of achieving those same feats. I hope me and a GM can work it out more, since I didn't want to have a whole made up royaly family SLAMMED into somebody else's game without talking about it with them first. Hey hey! I've been playing dnd for about 4 years with the same group. We did frost maiden and the frost king. I've only ever played a sorcerer and I love to explore things, find cool magic items, and play with a little bit of risk. I've never played with a group that had character development so I'd be open to exploring it. I'm used to constantly rolling for initiative and getting creative.  I'm pretty easy to get along with and fun to play with.  Here are some examples of the things I've done in our previous campaigns: I got a shield guardian and then he got cursed so then we adventured to get him uncursed.  We accidentally burned half a village down and then decided to build a blueberry store and diner so everything we got things throughout the mission, we would send them back to diner. Then venture back to the diner to check in like on the magic chests we found, spiders that cleaned, etc. And the whole dinor was run by the yetis we befriended and sort of bribed to not kill us 😅.

I am partial to roleplaying, however, as I feel it is the one element you cannot find in other gaming formats. In the TTRPG Rock, Paper, Scissors game that takes place in the deep and cloistered recesses of my mind: ROC > RAI > RAW. I am open to learning and trying new systems.  I am a very easy-going and jocular sort, prone to tomfoolery betimes, but know full well when to wear the frowny mask versus the smiley one. A former teacher, I am very newbie friendly (to both players and GMs), and am gooder than most with the word use-ing for to tell things and show other things and for the explaining.   I write creatively ever and anon when the humour stirs. Hello, I'm Jesse. I've been playing and Gamemastering for 20+ years. I started with D&D 3.0 and have grown with both the Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder environments. I love to explore other systems, as well, and have played more than my fair share of the White Wolf systems (especially, Vampire), The Mistborn Adventure Game and now the Cosmere RPG, Call of Cthulu, and the unofficial Pokemon TTRPGs (Pokemon: Tabletop United and Pokemon: Tabletop Adventures). I've stuck my nose in many others systems such as various GURPS and PbtA systems, Blades in the Dark, and many more large and small games. I haven't picked up a systems that I've been truly unfamiliar with in over a decade. My experience is a spectacular mix of in-person plays with local friends and congoers as well as remote plays via VTTs such as Roll20 and Foundry and Play-by-Post campaigns with online friends and strangers alike. I'm familiar with tools of all varieties and flexible enough to pick up all the new ones as they ship out. I'm always trying to find the right combination for me and my table. I want to add that professionally, my background is in both education and counseling and that you can be comfortable in knowing that I am a well-organized person with both the patience and skills to deescalate and find common ground. Finally, I just want to say that I'm incredibly passionate about TTRPGs and look forward to running some games, and telling some amazing stories with this community. Hey, I'm Justin. Big fan of RP heavy tables and players that want to be there. Still love me some combat though! Playing off and on since 2018, last adventure was 2+ years & I was DM-ing for the last 18 months as well. Only looking for an in-person game (willing to host!) in the East Bay ideally. Open to weeknights after 6pm & anytime Saturdays for weekly games. I can also do Sundays between 10a-4:30p but only once or twice a month. I'm no DnD expert but I am fairly well versed on almost all of the basic class specific 5e skills and abilities. I'm versatile as a player, happy to "fill in the gaps" if that's what a table needs class-wise. I've mostly played melee characters, but I love my halfling warlock to pieces (Ciaran McOnderfut, fyi). Also willing to play 5.5, just not as familiar with it (read a little, played none).  I am 100% the kinda guy with a whole Google folder full of pre-gen characters with back stories, and I'll gladly leave them on the shelf if the setting doesn't fit. I might go roll up a new one now just cuz I'm thinking about it, lol. Read a ton of fantasy & sci-fi back when, sword of truth, dragonlance, bio of a space tyrant. LOVED the Broken Earth trilogy. Late to the party, but watching CR C4 now.

Hey, my name's Matt, I'm a laid back 29 year old guy looking to get back into TTRPG's, I have a decent amount of experience with 5e 2014 and have both played in multiple campaigns and one-shots and I have DM'd a couple of one-shots over the years. My main goal when playing with a group is ultimately to have fun and create incredible stories, and ultimately make friends along the way. It's been about 5 or so years since I last played a TTRPG and I now have a lot of free time in my life to jump back in and immerse myself! I'm looking for a respectful, friendly and fun group of people to play with in either 5e 2014 or 5e 2024. I like in the UK but I can be very flexible with any European timezone and some US timezones. The only day of the week that I can't commit to is Wednesday but aside from that I'm as free as a bird for any other weekday evening or any time during the weekends.

I'm new(ish) to D&D, about sessions in, and looking for a friendly online group willing to welcome a newer player. I played with the 2014 (5E) rules so far (in peson), but I'm open to learning 2024 (5.5E) too. I love roleplay and combat pretty equally. I love getting into character and social scenes, but I also enjoy a good tactical fight. Still learning the finer rules, so I appreciate a table that's patient with questions. For scheduling, I'm flexible. Evenings generally work best, and I have more availability on weekends during winter. Happy to fit around a campaign's regular schedule once I find the right group. Looking for a narrative driven/atmospheric campaign. Hey all! I’m relatively new to playing TTRPGs, and have been needing to scratch my sci-fi itch. I’m looking for something relatively serious, a slower burn driven more by narrative play and rp rather than combat. I’m open to combat, just not trying to turn every session into a full blown tactical encounter. Tonally, I really enjoy the philosophy in sci-fi, exploring what it means to be human, existential and cosmic horror, dystopian settings, transhumanism, and general exploration. Mystery is always fun! I’ve been trying to avoid the more heavily action/anime side of things, instead going for something much more grungy and industrial. Anything beginner/intermediate friendly with a good group for conversation! I'm always down to work with the GM if it means we can have a better narrative :) My schedule is pretty consistent, almost always open past 5pm CST. Weekly or biweekly would be  awesome!
