I have an absolute ton of time on my hands now and I'd like to step back into TTRPG's! I'd like to find a very old-fashioned group if possible, one a lot more into the story and roleplaying of their characters, blended well with the actual playing of the game. Finding group dynamics are a lot of fun and I enjoy writing a lot about the characters I play, as well as in general. Would love a group that is heavily invested in the adventure and what everyone else's goals are. Wizards and casters are obviously my bread and butter, so I almost always play some form of them. Huge on puzzles, riddles and mysteries, stuff that really makes scholarly-characters tick. I also care a lot about the moment-to-moment interactions and immersion, how magic works and is written means a lot to me. I go by Elf. Any/All pronouns.I started playing tabletops back in 2017. First 5E, then Pathfinder, and now Daggerheart is my go-to game. I've been playing since the beta in 2024, I enjoy how the system encourages creativity from the GM and the players, how you can add "flavor" to the games spells, weapons, etc. I could go on and on about why I love this game, but I have a profile to write. I'm also a roleplayer and a writer. I often roleplay with friends over Discord, and have wrote a few stories, though most of them are sitting on my desktop. I like coming up with fun characters. Some take inspiration from The Elder Scrolls or RWBY or ZZZ. One of my recent characters was inspired by Fate. Never watched, but I liked the design/concept. I tend to get ideas that sometimes explode out of me. Next thing you know, I'm openining up a character sheet. So hours. A weekly game would be ideal. I'm kind of a night owl. My time zone is EST. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, I'm available for games from 6 PM to 6 AM the next day. Wednesdays, I'm available from 1 AM (technically Thursday, but you get the idea) to 6 AM. Friday and Saturday, I'm available from 8 PM to 6 AM. Sunday is usually my busy day. Sometimes this changes, but not enough to where I can commit to a Sunday game. For late night games, I can always get some caffeine in me to keep myself awake. I've done so before. It shouldn't be a problem if we're only playing once or twice a week. One last thing to mention: I sometimes use a voice changer for roleplaying purposes to sound a certain way when speaking as my character. As mentioned above, I love roleplaying and sometimes get really into it. This is comepletly optional, however, and I don't need it if it'll be too distracting. I can turn it on and off with a press of a key. So that's it. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hey all my pen name is Alex and I'm seeking a 3.5 campaign to join, currently I'm medically disabled and have a very open schedule. I'm looking for a group that is open to homebrew, I am an LGBTQ supporter and would value a group that is human rights friendly. Hiya, I go by Fenris or Fen and am a TTRPG veteran of roundabout 26 years, having started in my early teens and been the forever GM for a number of years, before moving on to become a player. I recently finished a PF2E campaign with an international group and am looking forward to move on to new horizons more set in a bright and exciting future. I am flexible regarding the day, being available for evening session from 18:00 to 18:30 my time onwards during Mondays to Fridays and basically fully flexible when it comes to the weekends. Also let me be very frank because I keep getting messages about this: I AM NOT INTERESTED IN D&D! Playstyle I am a person who both enjoys engaging roleplaying, interactions between the characters and with the world at large. To me a good game has a healthy mix of both and ideally also mixes them. So I want to roll the dice when appropriate, but I'm a bit tired of hearing 'I roll to attack' and a simple 'you hit'. Why not make it 'I bring my sword to bear against the owlbear, parry it's right claw swiping for me while side-stepping and try to cut it across it's leg in retaliation'? This gives the GM much more to play without without having to wrack their brain how to make it an exciting moment for everyone. Same goes for RP: You can try to hide the need to roll something to see, whether you succeed or not, by describing it creatively. I could say 'I want to roll Diplomacy to convince the lizardman warrior, that we come in peace' or I could say 'Putting on an open, peaceful body language, showing he is not armed, <character name> speaks clearly and softly in a diplomatic tone "We mean no harm. Just want to talk."' To me RP and rules are not two separate sides of a medallion - they can work beautifully hand in hand to weave a story within a fair ruleset, that gives everyone equal chances. Hence I also play the character idea and role within the party. I don't min-max, I work to represent the character idea both in RP and in the build. What's the character idea of a stoic and stalwart defender worth, if it isn't backed up by a build optimized towards taking the brunt of the enemies attacks? How can I play a hot-shot pilot, if his confident and assured stance isn't backed up by great skill with piloting and tendancy towards pulling stunts and a few aces up his sleeves? Experience I've started out with one of the more complex games to play 26 years ago: Shadowrun. Very crunchy, figuring out rolls was an effort and more often than not forgoing too complex rules for the rule of cool. From there I moved on to a myriad of systems - both mainstream and not. To name a few: Legend of the Five Rings, King Arthur Pendragon, D&D 5E (2014), Stafinder 1E, Stars Without Number, Warhammer Fantasy, Warhammer 40K FFG (Dark Heresy, Rogue Trader and Only War), Star Wars Edge of the Empire, The Dark Eye (DSA), A Song of Ice and Fire RPG, Pathfinder 2E and a quick dip into Fallout 2d20, as well as maybe some I can't even remember from the get-go right now. I've been on both sides of the table in those years, being both a GM and a player on- and offline. But I moved on from GMing for the most part, as I just don't have the capacity for additional responsibility in my life right now, besides showing up in time and having a good time with some fellow enjoyers of cooperative rules-based storytelling ;) Bio Let's start with the basic facts: 39 years old male (he/him) from Germany. Hello everyone! my name is Blair, and I am a player looking for more games to play! my schedule just recently opened up, and i need to roll dice and tell some stories! a bit about me: a bulk of my TTRPG experience comes from playing 2014, but i do have experience playing other systems as well, such as Candela Obscura, Daggerheart, Pathfinder, and I've even played a homebrew version of DND. when it comes to me as a player, i do tend to play spellcasters, it just intrigues me a lot more than the martial classes, and when I do play martial classes, i always give them limited magic. I'm also a pretty respectful tablemate, i try to give my fellow players a chance to get involved. along with that, I do engage in romance, both PC and NPC, just depends on whether or not the table is down with that! oh, speaking of romance, i am Queer and trans! with the world that we exist in, I find that it is better for my table to know that upfront than learn that not only am I not cis but also, I like both boys and girls, it's just a fact of life. with that you must be a Queer and trans friendly table as well as a disabled friendly table since I am disabled as well! now to move onto a gm I would prefer: typically, how I'd parse out a potential good GM for me to play under, is I'd do a one-shot with them and see if we're a good fit, and if we can have good conversation, but considering the nature of a post like this, I am willing to forego that! that being said, you still need to have the following: be America-based and even more specifically be CST-based- since I am based in North America, I just can't do uber late games. it's not good for my mental health, and it causes me to be a terrible person for responding to DMs. RP skills - this doesn't mean that you shouldn't at least try to incorporate combat in your sessions but i need those RP skills sharpened to the max! homebrew vs. Module - I am willing to play a module but i would prefer a homebrew world. it shows that you are more than willing to be flexible with your players' stories and want to share that creativity with the world at large. recording vs basic home game - I am very okay and do consent to a recorded game, considering i have been in a few actual plays! that, however, does not mean that i will turn my nose up at a basic home game, in fact that is one of my favorites!

I am fairly creative, trying to get into the spirit of the whole roleplaying stuff cause I have been having fun with that, and overall cool person to be with. Well met, stranger. I'm hiddenson. I've played different rpgs since the 90's, both as GM and as player, and I'd like to get back into it. I prefer GMing because I enjoy world building and long-term campaigns, delving deeper into the preset worlds to give them my signature flavor of horror and hardcore mechanics. My style is immersive, often choosing to play the right track at the right second for the right scene. That said, I enjoy the acting and teamwork part of playing, so I'd like to get the chance to do that as well from time to time. I'm also launching a paid Vampire: The Masquerade 5e soon, so I'm willing to trade seats if our tastes and playstyles match. As this is my player profile, I'd like to focus on roleplay heavy horror games. I'd love to play other settings of the World of Darkness. I like roleplay heavy games, but having a fight is also good. I tend to homebrew stuff, because any game engine is just an invitation for creativity. Usually play sneaky-snoopy characters, chaos goblins and/or demons like Tyranny (my favorite!).

Hello there! I am a vetern M20+ player with some experience in pathfinder 1e. and I am looking for more pathfinder games to join. In terms of overral pathfinder experience, I played in one normal pathfinder game, one game using mythical power, and one using pathfinder spheres of power. So I can play any game of pathfinder using those, I am mostly interrest in using spheres of power, but its not mandatory; I can play without it. forever DM. available: GMT-3 18h-22h Monday to Friday. I've been playing D&D 5e since 2016. I started as a player for 2 weeks, and then became a DM on a whim, forever DM until today. Pathfinder 2E, and Tormenta 20. Both systems are hard to grasp even after sessions of experience, so I prefer not to go with those. Daggerheart is another I got into recently, I'm down to DM for it as well. It looks fun. I'm also fully willing to learn an entirely new system if needed.

Hello! I'm Efim, quite a player of Shadowrun and (to lesser extent) Cyberpunk 2020. Have some experience with Exalted and Starfinder, and tried to GM PF1e (which died due to schedules). Thanks to being deep into CP2020 and SR, I'm quite good with both RP part of the things and the combat part. I prefer live text games, but voice games and long-term PBPs are also fine (assuming they don't die within a week). While in games, I prefer less linear, more sandoxy types of games where we can do smart things with what we're given, make up some indirect ideas and execute those to solve whatever issues there are. It applies to when combat starts as well - as fun it is to throw fireballs, it gets a bit old after you do it 20, 30, 50, however many times, so some smart approaches is what I try to do whenever possible. Thanks to my pretty ezpz work schedule, I'm more or less capable to play text games at any time of the day except when I'm asleep (midnight-7 AM in GMT+3 zone), and voice games after ~4.30 PM. Can stay for night sessions too, but prefer not to if possible. I also prefer for sessions to not be more than 6 hours if possible, because it takes quite a bit of a strain on attention and not falling asleep, heh.

I am a grown adult and have some limited experience playing D&D 5e I'm looking for a group that plays regularly on a week night (not Fridays). I work a job that can be unpredictable at times where I can have mandatory overtime that's given the day of which could occasionally have an impact on my ability to play. That said I intend to attend on a consistent schedule, I don't mind a small fee for the GM as long as the game is run well, fair and most importantly fun. Game play persona, I enjoy combat and thinking out side of the box for quirky fun solutions. I can play a serious character or a silly but game focused character. For what it's worth my favorite character to play is a cleric, I can do battle, healer or a mix of both ! So if you need a healer, I can be your guy! I prefer a game where the GM makes it a fun challenge but doesn't railroad the campaign nor do they make it so complex where I'm spending more time making notes than playing the game. I have no issues playing with whoever (adults) so long as everyone keeps politics and religion out of the game session :) of course except those which apply to the game.

I’m a 22/M looking to join a D&D group that plays any time Monday–Thursday (evenings preferred) and occasionally Friday. Weekends are usually tough for me due to a family that believes dnd is the devil, but it IS possible. I’ve played in one one-shot before, but I’ll be honest, I didn’t get much of a chance to actually play due to being talked over a lot (and a d100 roll that gave everyone some random ass effect and im the only one who got anything remotely negative [if i spoke without rhyming i would get struck by lightning], but thats besides the point). So while I’m technically newer to live play, I’ve spent a ton of time learning the game and building characters. I am in another campaign that I've kinda started, but the dm has gone on vacation for the summer, and I have no real scope on when they'll return. I have done around 10 or so sessions with them and know how to use DND tools now, so... I absolutely love D&D. In my spare time I create characters constantly, I have at least one concept ready for nearly every class, and I’m more than happy to fill whatever role a party needs, as long as I get to play the game. Hello, my name is Threydan and i am looking for a game for me and my friend to join. I am 22 and my friend is 24. We have both played a good understanding of the rules and have some experience under our belt (my friend more than me). We were hoping to find a game that is both serious but also light hearted. In other words: we wanna take the game serious, but we also wanna have the space to goof off and do silly things. In terms of combat/roleplay we hope for around a 50/50. 60/40 or 40/60 works for us too. We hope to join a new campaign, but are okay with one that has been going for a few sessions. My friend is planning on playing a sorcerer and i'm planning on playing a wizard. The dynamic we hope to go for is a sort of rivalry, where we both try to say that our class is better and try to one up eachother, along with some banter. Naturally though we don't want to overdo this as we don't wanna hog the spotlight for the 2 of us and we wanna interact with the rest of the party as well. Lastly some technical details. We are available on weekdays in the evening. Preferably starting at around 19:30. Heyo, I'm Bo, 30 and queer. Been playing DND since 2019 ish, haven't had the chance to explore other systems and DND somehow always seems the easiest to find a game for. I only recently decided to try voice games as I've been playing through live text usually. Critical Role is what got me into dnd and rpg stuff but I've been loving Bards of New York lately, and when I say lately it's been over a year of constantly watching their stuff. Other than that I love Witcher, Dragon Age, Skyrim obviously, fantasy is my main genre I think, though I like watching sci fi movies and shows. Bioshock Infinite is another games I love and I love horror media, just not a fan of slashers and very gore focused things, which is why Mike Flanagan's stuff is my favorite but also I say that and yet zombie media is also something I enjoy so lmao. I usually prefer RP over combat but I figured combat can be very useful to test your creativity and problem solving as well, just not looking to solely be focused on that. I'm in the gmt+2 timezone, usually prefer evening games in my time and currently Saturday evenings are occupied by me DM-ing. I would also like to add that I have a pretty old laptop and I'm pretty sure most if not all VTTs just don't work on it, if that's a must for games.

I've been rolling dice since the days of Neverwinter Nights persistent worlds, where the game was mostly text-based and the roleplay was the whole point. From there I found my way into 3.5, Pathfinder, and eventually 5e, where I've run several year-long campaigns to completion as DM. These days I'm looking to get back on the player side of the screen and explore some new systems. I'm a roleplay centric player but I love a good tractical combat, especially if the system supports cinematic moments within it. I also like to keep the game moving forward, making sure to involve the party in making decisions and keeping the pace of the story going, this means I usually fall into the role of party face too. Hi there! I'm a mature player looking for a game with people who love the comraderie of roleplay. I enjoy a game that is heavy RP balanced with combat, problem solving, political intrigue, travel, survival or whatever aspects the GM wants to put our merry band up against. I'm in your world now. Play Style: I'm serious about having fun. I'm low maintenance and I fit well into most groups that are focused on the campaign at hand. I'm a stickler about showing up on time to every session. I put a good effort into making my characters fun for the other players as well as the GM. I'm not much of a min/maxer. I don't know the powerful builds as I tend to add to my characters in a manner consistent with their back story. I write modest back stories and try to include multiple hooks that the GM might choose to use somewhere along the road. I prefer to see a good story or interesting outcome rather than fuss over rules. I tend to get in character and stay in character for an entire session. I'm not adverse to long sessions, provided we have appropriate intermissions. Themes: I'm less interested in horror, more interested in high fantasy settings. I consider myself an immersion-first kind of player, I like to make my decisions in character with the same thought process my characters would if possible. Not to say that I'm not "above" superceding my characters' "own" decision if needed, but that's how I like to play when convenient. I tend to like to play as characters that I've conceptualized beforehand, but deliberately make a bit hollow initially so that I can customize them to better fit within any campaign I might find myself joining.

I am, Ibiss, 26M, a veteran text-based roleplayer (started c. 2013) trying to find my place in other forms of roleplay. In roleplay, I am looking for the narrative aspects, this feel of creating a fun story with unique characters. I prefer simpler systems, and I can't stand metagaming. As for character creation, I prioritize flavor. I love parties full of personality and variety, where no character feels the same. Normally I play as anthropomorphic characters, as most fantasy/sci-fi settings barely give me much to make a human character stand out (humans can be very interesting, specially in real-life based settings, but these aspects often feel a bit too washed out in other settings, so don't blame me for taking the easy route) I prefer giving a long-term commitment when it comes to roleplay, so I expect honest communication about what I'm playing. I'm not here to "try", I am here to find experiences where I can stay for a good while. This means I will highly prioritize the idea of making a unique plot together as a group rather than experiencing the "default" version of any system.
