I have 8 years, and thousands of hours of experience, as both a DM and Player. When it comes to the systems I have played, it's mostly D&D 5e and Pathfinder 2e, but I have branched out a bit more into World of Darkness 20th, Fabula Ultima, Savage Worlds, FATE, etc. A Little More About Me: - My favorite bands are Metallica and Iron Maiden, though I also like classical, rock, ballads, historical, etc. (Favorite album is Ride the Lightning) - My favorite videogame of all time is Persona 3, having been raised on FES at an age earlier than intended and had me reading college psychology textbooks as a kid. Probably followed by Assassin's Creed 2 that I played when blind (physically) - My favorite books of all time are Frankenstein and the Art of War, if you take it as a philosphical work rather than purely about tactics. - I typically tend to run more Gothic Fantasy style games and characters.

Hi! I’m 48 and have been playing D&D for around 6 years. I like character-driven games, roleplay, exploration and ofcourse combat. I like when choices and relationships actually matter over time, and consequnces come back and bite you in the ass. I have past experience D&D 3.5 from long ago and played maybe two session of Call of Cthulhu. Would be interesting to join groups playing roleplay focused games, but the setting and style are not super important. I can learn the rules and integrate however needed. Hi folks. My name is Frank from germany and I am born in 1978. I started playing TTRPGs in the late 80s/early 90s (don't remember exactly) and had a hiatus between 2008 and 2016. In the early and mid 2000s I participated in the organization for a local convention of the german TTRPG Midgard. Most of my life I was the GM and to be honest I really liked it (probably more than beeing a player). At the moment I play in 2 local monthly goups (no GMing). I am not sure if I have to quit one of the groups I am currently playing in because I really dislike the system we are playing (Warhammer Fantasy 4E) and the group is not willing to change that in the near future. Besides of that I am more than curious to try out online gaming although I never did before. So please be patient with me. Old man incoming ;-) Today I enjoy OSR-games the most (Fantasy, SciFi and all other genres). The simplicity of it is just something I really embrace. I dislike extensive backstories for my PCs. I am convinced that it is more natural to build their personality as I play. I don't need characters that have already achieved everything in their backstories. Besides of that I am a gamer not a novelist ;-) I like my characters to go down in a big blow. They should not die of old age. The most memorable PCs I had are all dead :-) The worst thing that could happen to me as a player is if I recognize that the GM cheats just to safe me from certain death. DON'T DO THAT ;-) As a GM I roll openly and take the results as they roll. I don't balance encounters but I consider myself "fair" in regards of worldbuilding and player choices. I like when players don't optimize and just play without searching the solution on their character sheet. I will kill your character if they make bad choices or if fate demands it. I am not into voice acting or such things and I hate it to waste precious game time on playing out every-day-life of characters. The tavern evening with just talking, the 2 hour shopping tour with the local merchants, the chillout session in the public bath I've seen it all and I hated every single minute of it. Bring on the action, the adventure, thats the reason I play. As you may have noticed english is not my mothertounge. Especially my spoken english is probably not the best. But I think I could manage to be in an english speaking group. At least I would try it. I would love to find a group where I could try out online gaming as a player. I think I would not start online gaming as a GM right away but would love to evolve into that. I really don't care how to play online: VTT, Discord, Teams whatever. I really don't care at this point in time.

CURRENTLY INACTIVE (life got in the way and i can't figure out how to mark my profile as inactive, whoops) I'm a 23 year old design student from Finland and a big enjoyer of all things nerdy and/or artistic. TTRPGs are collaborative storytelling first for me. I put a lot of thought and effort into engaging with the campaign and other players' characters, and into creating characters others would enjoy playing with. I'm very roleplay heavy, but I'm not against combat or challenge by any means. Humor and whimsy are always welcome as long as there is something sincere at the core of the story and characters. I'm open to a variety of tones, themes, and scales in campaigns. I've played DnD 5E (2014) on and off for a few years, and have played one campaign of Troika! and some one-shots with other systems. I don't have the rules memorized but have a solid understanding of how things work. I'm a quick learner and open to other systems too. I'll play with players of any experience level and like to help where I can. I'm comfortable playing either on mic or through text, and may be open to being on cam after getting to know the group. Do note that my schedule is a bit unstable, but I do my best to participate and will always communicate in advance if I'm not able to make it. Also, I have some issues processing sound that make it hard for me to understand people, especially if there's a lot of background noise or the person's accent is very different from what I'm used to. I might ask people to repeat themselves. While I would say I'm generally confident in roleplay, I struggle with character voices and putting dialogue into words, and may occasionally need a moment to think or to simplify it (like "my character compliments the bard's song"). Communication between players and the GM is very important to me to make sure everyone is on the same page and to resolve any issues.

Hi there! I'm Frau Elster, 34, located in Hanover, Germany. I have been playing TTRPGs for roughly a year now. It became quite a hyperfixation and thanks to a local open club I've gotten the chance to test some systems and get an idea of what I enjoy in this game. At the moment I really enjoy Daggerheart but I am open to other systems. Ideally, of course, the group vibes and gets along. That's a wish of mine but of course can't be forced. I tend to enjoy smaller groups up to 4, sometimes 5, on a bi-weekly schedule in the evening. I love creating complex characters with a few defining moments already having happened to them to help flesh them out. It didn't happen yet but I'd love to experience what it's like to have a ongoing campaign that weaves in the characters' backgrounds. Usually I have a concept in mind before I create a character and then read through _a lot_ of materials and sources to find the build and world-related backgrounds that fit. For example: My last character (for dagger heart) was a werewolf ranger who became a guerrila fighter because she feels like a advocat on agency and freedom of choice. For DnD, I am in the midst of creating a tabaxi stardruid whose base idea was that she looks like a black jaguar and has the constellations map right there in the spots of her fur. Or I knew I wanted a gnome raised by ice giants who draws her magic from the aurora and can hit really hard and now I have several tabs open haha I enjoy good atmospheric horror and am actually thinking about hosting The Magnus Archive TTRPG. But that's a project for the future. Coming from a theatre background I love roleplay and the chaotic rule of cool being applied more than dungeon crawling, rule crunching and min/max-ing. Social encounters and exploration are big to me. Do you know that one friend who needs to check every question mark in a video game? Yeah that's me (and is also a reason why I love Breath of the Wild. Exploring was very much rewarded in this game.) As a GM I love putting in puzzles but that is always a hit or miss with me as a player. In general I would say I am a bit of a chaotic player who enjoys discussing concepts, impulsive decision making and creative brainstorming with the others. It would be important to me that the players share the spotlight and know how to communicate constructively and mindfully.

Trying to find a consistent group to get to know that can play on weekends. Prefer DND 5E 2024, but I'm willing to play 2014 version, Daggerheart, PF2E, or similar feeling games, though I'd need time to learn PF2E or anything I didn't list specifically. Prefer a more RP focused lower PC death risk game that can be expected to continue running for many sessions with mostly consistent players. While I'm flexible with campaign setting I would like a seeing and/or tone that isn't too silly. Hi, french adult player here. Experienced in PF2E : Been playing and dming 1e and 2e for yers now. Started with naheulbeuk and 1e, then did one game of 5e and finally moved to 2e and a bit of Knight. I play my round quickly and, if possible, some flair. [Type of game]: To complement a more rp focused campaign I'm in I'd like to find a game that's more focused on action and aventure. Looking at recent APs I've seen that Hellbreakers and Hell's destiny look cool. Would be interrested going back into Kingmaker after my previous go was cut short. Or even conversions of 1e AP or homebrew stuff ! : On week days I can play from 19:00 to 00:00 and on saturdays I am free all day from 08:00 to 00:00 [Price:]: 15$/session, can negotiate down for struggling DMs. But otherwise that's the cost for me to play at your table I'm a big gish fan, but so far haven't got to play one in 2e to very high level (highest I got with a magus was level 5 or 6 in abomination vault before a tpk). The only high level AP I got done so far was Age of Ashes several years ago with my sorcerer. So I'd be pretty flexible on roles to fill with one, ideally i'll try to make a magus work and with its upcoming rework I think I could make it fill defensive or offensive roles in a party ! Some characters I played before were: -Phaebus: in 1e, a magus smith from Torch in Iron Gods. He was one of the students of the local mage who had gone missing at the start of the AP, on the way to rescue him he found an intelligent sword of strange design that had lost its memories. He made it his goal to restore the lost memories and learn more about that sword in order to forge his own masterpiece. Piers: 2e Age of Ashes, a draconic sorcerer who chose to become a paragon of heroism for the weak after escaping slavery. He wore shiny plate armor and a shield without any other weapon to be a symbol of protection in the name of Milani. After the end of the campaign he kept travelling to free slaves and oppressed alike. Red Swirl: 2e Kingmaker, a kholo magus from a group of bandit/mercenary kholos who joined the party to get rid of the Staglord, and then stayed to help them deal with anything pertaining to magic. Sadly the game stoped early in book 2. W4N-D3RER: 2e Abomination Vault, an automaton cleric of casandalee who puts on a front talking very robotically and flatly, indicating verbally the tone or emotion he is going for. he does so to get people used to interracting with the less emotive sentient machines children of the goddess. He died late into the dungeon and was planned to return as a ghost summoner, with his old automaton body as a contruct eidolon. But sadly, again, the group disbanded and gave up after a tpk. Some more details: -Won't join games that use AI -LGBTQ friendly is required. -Furry friendly is preferred

Over a decade plus of playing RPGs but not nearly enough as I'd have liked. I'm east coast based and work regular work hours, but down to fit my schedule with whatever works best with a group and don't mind varying timezones! Either weekly, bi-weekly, or whatever the best schedule fits for a group and I make it a point to always show up for each session unless something happens (I hate giving late notice). I'm open to many systems and don't mind either a focus on roleplay or combat, even if I do lean towards more roleplay! Love to learn a system and explore as well as have experience with west marches style games. General interests outside of RPG are numerous and I'm personable, approahcble, and always make sure any table I join is and will be a pleasant one!
