Hii, I am a somewhat new player from Germany, looking for a group to play online, ideally weekly or bi-weekly. My last campaign was awhile ago and it fell apart rather quickly, so I am thankful for any pointers to get back into dnd. I am a fan of fantasy novels and enjoy the roleplaying and exploring worlds through my characters very much. I prefer discord or another vc over video. I don't own any digital dnd systems at the moment, but am willing to buy some if necessary.

As far as dnd goes, I'm happy to play in any type of game (whether rp heavy or combat focused) as long as the table is passionate about it, there's a friendly atmosphere and creativity can shine! Hello I'd be interested in joining a group if possible.  I am available Mon-sun starting at 7:30 pm est except wed. I rarely miss sessions and if I think there's even a possibility, I would give a heads up. I don't mind if it's already ongoing as long as it's not to far in. I enjoy character bonding as a group and as individuals and my favorite thing about DND is creating backstories.  I have a few lined up that I typically discuss with the DM to see which would be the best fit. One backstory for a example is a human rogue who's a member of a f very powerful crime family. Though he's in hiding since he's constantly getting in there way of business to ruin it. I also try to get everyone involved if I notice someone having trouble getting involved. I do prefer to focus more on the game than talking outside of game.

Well met, stranger. I'm hiddenson. I've played different rpgs since the 90's, mostly as GM. I prefer GMing because I love world building and long-term campaigns. I revel in many layered plots that peel like a bag of onions, tuning preset worlds to my signature flavor of horror and hardcore mechanics. My style is deeply immersive, roleplay heavy, and Rule of Cool. I prefer acting in the first person with people who invest creativity in their characters. At the moment, I'd like to focus on horror games and Cyberpunk. I'd love to play other settings of the World of Darkness. I have extensive experience in Call of Cthulhu in the 1920's as well as in Cyberpunk 2020 so I'll adapt to new editions easily. Lastly, I have little to no experience in the other titles, but I'm eager to try them out. I lean into characters hungry for lore rather than riches. Think erudite professors risking their sanity in eldritch tomes, or tomb raiding archaeologists uncovering more than they bargained for. I recently launched a paid Vampire: The Masquerade Chronicle, so I'm willing to trade seats if our playstyles and game list match. Hello everyone! I am a player looking for a 1 on 1 PBP game with a Fantasy, Sci-fi, or Apocapytic setting. Or maybe even a mix of two! I left it pretty open on purpose so we can talk about it together. I do have ideas of course and I am more than happy to share them. I will at least add here that I do like like super dark or hopeless worlds. Dystopian is fine, but let me have a little hope in life, some good moments you know! A few things about me and what I would like out of the game: I am in my 20s and male. I set 20 dollars in the title as a base not a max. I would say my range is 20-50 dollars. I would be willing to pay more for a few things: Response frequency, VTT usage, NPC Ref (Both SFW and NSFW). Essentially, I will pay you more for more effort you put in. DND5e/5.5. I am okay with either edition, though I know 5e a lot better so if we play 5.5e I am sorry in advanced if I make a few mistakes initially. I will at the very least try not to make the same mistakes again. I am looking for a PBP game as since I am looking for a game with a fair bit NSFW content I do not feel comfortable using my voice, though the DM/GM is more than welcome to do voice messages if they so wish. I would like the game to be a Duet/Solo game. I like playing really strong characters as such, I would like to play a Gestalted character, bonus points if you let me do a Tri Gestalt but its not required. Based off the point above, I do like using that strong character for combat both because I like the fighting for something and I like to roll dice, preferably with big numbers as the outcome! I don't need to wake up, combat, sleep, wake up combat. I like the combat to have meaning and a reason behind it. But if you give me a goal and along the way I can fight stuff, I will do so happily! NSFW Stuff: I am admittedly new to this website so I am unsure how NSFW they allow me to write my post. So, I will refrain from being too explicit outside of DMs. However a few things that I will mention here are a couple of hard limits. That is anything bathroom related, SA on screen, NTR (hate this one the most), and of course all characters that engage in sexual activity MUST be 18+. For a more detailed list of Kinks and Limits I can find one of those kinklists and fill one out and send it to you. Feel free to DM me or comment below! Hi, I'm looking for a long term campaign, primarily text based, but open to voice as well. Homebrew, module, or anything in between doesn't matter to me. I'm in it to tell a good story, and all of those will serve well as the medium. Since I'm roleplay focused I'd like the campaign to also be roleplay focused or an equal mix of combat, RP and Exploration. Not particularly interested in dungeon crawls.  A little bit about me. I'm in the UTC+3 timezone for reference. I have played D&D 5e and 5.5e for about 5 years now so while not a several decades old veteran as some, I'm fairly experienced with the rules and the systems. I'm looking for a collaborative experience and ready to bounce ideas on character level and on campaign level. I tend to value story progression and character relationships the highest since that's what I'm most interested in exploring. I tend to favor dark fantasy or grimdark settings, but will play high fantasy and more as long as the campaign is not a parody. Jokes are perfectly fine in moderation. What you can expect from me is detailed backstories with a lot of hooks, the ability to adapt to the campaign's needs, and high collaboration in general. I enjoy planning arcs with either the DM or other players. In the context of text based campaigns, I can post every day, and multiple times, so I'm very active. For live text or live sessions on voice, you can expect high punctuality and proactive communication. I love this game and the endless possibilities it represents. Even though I live in Texas I'm very open minded. I like game's that high fantasy,  low or high magic. I’ve been playing tabletop RPGs since 2019, mostly through Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition, both as a player and behind the screen as a Game Master. Over that time I’ve played in and run everything from fairly traditional fantasy adventures through to more character-driven, chaotic and story-focused games. I’ve also played and GM'd Daggerheart, and I’m currently digging into Pathfinder Second Edition and expanding beyond the 5e ecosystem. As a GM, I’m most interested in creating games that feel alive rather than overly scripted. I like strong characters, memorable NPCs, exploration, mystery, moral choices and situations where player decisions genuinely change what happens next. I’m happy to let a serious scene breathe, but I also enjoy the natural comedy and absolute nonsense that tends to emerge when a group of players is given too much freedom. My style is generally collaborative and player-focused. I’m not interested in “winning” against the party or forcing players down a predetermined path. I’d rather build a world with enough structure to feel believable, then see what the players do to it. Outside of home games, I also help run regular public TTRPG nights in the NSW Southern Highlands, which has given me experience with new players, mixed-experience tables, one-shots and getting a group comfortable and playing quickly. My ideal table is welcoming, imaginative and willing to commit to the bit ; whether that means dramatic character moments, terrible plans, heroic last stands or spending twenty minutes arguing about the name of a tavern.

How now and well met! My name is Rando, and I have been playing TTRPGs for a very, very, very, long time. Finding myself now with an almost completely open schedule, I am compelled to fill up all this free time playing in campaigns. TTRPG campaigns.  More and more campaigns...  ALL the campaigns!  Yes, yes -- I must play them... Ahem. Apologies...  I am looking for a campaign (or five) to feed my insatiable hunger  join a lively, well-rounded, and sane group of players who like to roleplay, share laughs, make memories, and tell stories collaboratively. New campaign, ongoing campaign, homebrew campaign, published campaign: it does not matter. Whether it is a newly created spot or just subbing in -- new character, fill-in character, NPC, former player's character: I will join your table with glee and vigor.    (note: vigor is extra) I enjoy all three pillars of TTRPGS (combat, roleplay, exploration) and appreciate when there is a healthy balance among them. I am partial to roleplaying, however, as I feel it is the one element you cannot find in other gaming formats. In the TTRPG Rock, Paper, Scissors game that takes place in the deep and cloistered recesses of my mind: ROC > RAI > RAW. I am open to learning and trying new systems.  I am a very easy-going and jocular sort, prone to tomfoolery betimes, but know full well when to wear the frowny mask versus the smiley one. A former teacher, I am very newbie friendly (to both players and GMs), and am gooder than most with the word use-ing for to tell things and show other things and for the explaining.   I write creatively ever and anon when the humour stirs. My favorite color is pizza. Note for Paid/Professional DMs: I am a Professional Player. 10 years of TTRPG experience, 5 of those in PF2e. I've mainly been a GM in PF2e and have had two campaigns reach Level 20, but not much experience on the other side of the screen. My preferences between combat and RP are close to 50/50 with a slight lean towards combat, and I typically play martials. 18+ only (potentially 25+ only because I'm in my 30s now, but it's not a hard rule for me atm). No paid games, no West Marches/Living Worlds, no PBP. Also no AI whatsoever, players or GM.

Hello, there!  I am a veteran player (38-years-old) who switched to D&D 5.5 ever since its release and has played sessions weekly (even multiple times a week). My window of availability is between 6 AM and 11:30 AM, and between 2 PM and 10:30 PM, CET times. I like exploration and all kinds of discoveries. I enjoy RP the most when it furthers the characters, the campaign's story or both. I like combat especially when it mixes in interesting mechanics and objectives, and when I can be creative in my descriptions and my actions. I love overcoming challenges, whatever form they take, through teamwork and preparation. I like believable character actions, because I value immersion a lot, which is why I generally prefer a serious tone over a silly one. Jokes are more than fine, but I much prefer it when they don't undercut tense and emotional moments. As a player, I'm committed, invested in the story and a note-taker, I gravitate the most towards themes related to morality, knowledge/lore and creativity/art, I take my time to gather information and strategize, and I'm good-aligned pretty much always. I never come into a campaign with a clear idea on what character to play, as I very much enjoy trying to weave species, class, concept and backstory with the campaign's world, letting the latter inspire character creation itself. So I tend to ask some questions after I join a new game, to get a better idea and then decide, with an eye on party composition as well. As a person, I'm a big believer in fairness, I'm as anti-toxicity as it gets, and I'm respectful, inclusive, punctual and communicative.

I am heavily combat focused and not a very good roleplayer. I don't like having the spotlight much and tend to play background style characters. Hello! I'm Ozzy, an amateur player looking for some campaigns where my character concepts can thrive. I've played a few games that I never finished and one game I did finish. I'm 18 and Trans (FtM)! I don't specialize in any one class or archetype. Weekend games are preferable since I have Friday-Sunday completely free, but later in the day (after 4:30) Monday-Thursday are also doable. I am fairly roleplay-focused, but I also enjoy combat for the small bits of flavoring and the "casting create water in someone's lungs" moments. (I won't do that constantly, don't worry.) Also, I do not want to participate in campaigns with AI usage, no matter how minimal. It just isn't fun for me. I'm also an artist, and I enjoy drawing my characters and other people's. I won't always do free art because I don't always have time, but most of the time I'm up for it, especially if it's something small and silly. I was gonna put the character concepts here as well, but I have far too many to fit into one post without making it too long, so if you're interested, pitch me your campaign, and I'll pick out the character I think fits in the best. My main priority is making sure you don't have to bend or twist any rules to accommodate the character I pick. CHARACTER CONCEPTS (So if you see something interesting, you can message me about it) Wasp - Thri-kreen (or a similar reskinned species if you can't make that work) - Bard (College of Lore) Concept: A formerly enslaved insectoid who's only recently escaped and is experiencing freedom for the first time. Personality: Very friendly, curious, and overly excitable, kind but not naive. His kindness is a conscious choice and a philosophy. "No amount of heartbreak could ever make me unloving." Looking for: Exploration, found family, situations that challenge his kindness without forcing him to be cruel. Extra details: Neutral Good alignment L8 - Warforged - Artificer (Artillerist) Concept: The first successful result of an experimental attempt to resurrect a dead person through cybernetics, except whoever woke up isn't the person the researchers were trying to bring back. Personality: Cautious and analytical, extremely conscious of their own strength, and socially awkward. They are quite sweet, though; empathy just isn't their strong suit. Looking for: Dystopian worlds, conspiracies, sci-fi setting preferred but not required Extra details: Lawful Neutral alignment \\ If homebrew mechanics are allowed, L8 does have the ability to store the damage he takes and then fire it back all at once (every hit he takes adds to the total damage) Praise Moonshine - Human (altered by rituals but still) - Cleric (Twilight) Concept: A disgraced cultist attempting to reunite with their leader and resume their "purpose." Personality: Very disciplined and devoted, clearly sheltered, and has forgotten how to interact with people outside of their faith; prone to pettiness that's so subtle it's practically invisible. Looking for: Situations that confront the nasty things Praise did in the name of their leader, dark fantasy. Extra details: Lawful Neutral \\ If homebrew mechanics are allowed, Praise has several "blood" spells that involve them damaging themselves to either strengthen a spell or cast a custom one.

Hiya! The name's Voltaine, or The Voltagonist, but you can call me Voltti... or even just Volt! I've been wanting to get into a D&D group for some time now, as I've had on-and-off games that never really went anywhere long-term. I'm really wanting to invest myself into a game of sorts, have more chances to play and learn, and perhaps even make some new friends along the way. For systems I've played? D&D 5e is the one I have the most hours (500+) and experience in and am the most confident in playing, while I'm very much wanting to learn Fabula Ultima, so any chance opportunity to do so would be greatly appreciated and heartily accepted! I'm also very much new but willing to learn Pathfinder 2e, as well as any homebrew system based off it, or any of the previously mentioned for that matter. For themes and genres I'm okay with? Pretty much anything and everything, with almost nothing off the table; from cozy slice-of-life and goofy roleplay to genuinely dark, disturbing, and emotionally brutal themes, I'm game for anything... within reason, of course. As for overall preferences? I very much want to roleplay, immersing myself entirely into the character I bring to the table and the world they're a part of, as well as being able to engage with my fellow players as that character more than speaking above table as myself. I'd much rather play a character with a strong concept, personality, or aesthetic, as I'm not entirely fond of needing to min-max my way through the adventure. The only thing I'd directly ask of my fellow players and DM is to be patient with me, as I can be a little slow on the uptake thanks to mild autism, a bit loud/rowdy when I get excited or happy, a bit grumpy when inconveniences pile up, and I ask a lot of questions about things I'm unsure of. A fascinating, handsome, wonderful man with the body of a marble statue.  I am not a greasy nerd who smells like old pizza.  I am clean and very organized . I do not inspire chaos nor and trap fellow players in inescapable situations they think they put themselves in.  As a GM, my games are predictable and consistent.  I never write myself into a corner and certainly never panic and throw grudge monsters at players when called out.  I do not use voices, props or wear silly hats. I am a serious, professional gamer and absolutely NOT a trainwreck both in-game and in real life.

Hey, Max G. here coming to you live from Brooklyn. Queer demiboi based in NYC looking to roll dice and cast spells with chill LGBTQ+ folks. Been playing 5e for about 4 years, with my longest campaign having gone up to level 16. Lean heavily into RP, love exploring a setting, seeking out lore. Pretty much exclusively play spellcasters (bards, warlocks, wizards). Would also be down to try a new system... Cyberpunk RED, Pokémon, and/or VtM. Please don't message me if you use AI at all in your games, I won't respond. Prefer playing online but I'm open to IRL games in NYC. Hey everybody, I'm Fenris_VII, though I go mostly by Fen. I'm an experienced player from Germany looking for a Starfinder 2E campaign to join. With the release of the Tech Core rulebook released, we finally have rules for ship combat and building, so I really want to get a nice crew together, go explore the galaxy and have great adventures! I'm usually available Fridays late-afternoon (around 5 PM CEST/CET) till Sunday evening (8 PM the latest start, to not run the risk of being half a zombie at work on Monday), with the very slim possibility, that I might have to dip out for a few minutes to an entire session, if I happen to be on call once every 2 or 3 months and something happens, that needs my attention at work. When it comes to platform I'm agnostic - I play just as likely on Roll20 as on Forge, though it has to be said that Forge has some of the best tech possible for playing TTRPGs online. I'm 39 years old right now (40 in just a few weeks) and have been an avid player of TTRPGs since I was 13. I played a lot of systems, from crunchy games like Shadowrun, to more freeform ones, I played mainstream with D&D and niche with games like King Arthur Pendragon, High Fantasy and Low Fantasy, Sci-Fi and Sci-Fantasy. My focus always has been on a healthy mix of rules and roles. What do I mean by that? One always informs the other - you cannot play the big tough paladin when your character is weak as a leaf in the wind. But you also cannot play a charming negotiator when your character trips over his words and makes enemies instead of friends when it comes to roll the dice. I build my characters - story, personality and game mechanics, around the role I take within the party and roleplay that role to whatever level the party is comfortable with. Got a roleplay heavy group? Ready to jump in and play it out too. Less roleplay heavy? Bummer but hey I can role with it and leave enough room for others to shine and not keep the party from pressing on if they want to. I have about half a year of experience with SF1e and several years by now of playing PF2e, so the system is easy for me to grasp and the setting somewhat familiar. I have also played similar games scenario wise - games like Star Wars FFG, Stars Without Number, and Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader, where you have a ship and basically the galaxy open to explore for you. My English is very advanced - I've been exposed to Canadian English when I was just 4, have been learning English since I was 5 and consume my media in English where I can and even stream on Twitch completely in English. So language barriers should be minimal to non-existing for me within any international group. I'm just as comfortable with playing a Tank, Damage-Dealer, Face or Support. All that matters to me is that I am free to come up with a cool character concept and get along with the party. If you got a game coming up or recently started and need someone to hop in, let me know, I'm down for it. Flexible to what role I'll fill in the party.

I regularly consume informative guides on becoming a better Player and Worldbuilder, and always seek to grow more Interests in a game While I don't restrict myself to genres, as I'm open to try lots of topics, here's some things in media I like: - Pantheons / Cosmology, specifically creation of life and how it interacts with itself - Body-, Cosmic Horror, Despair - Intricate interpersonal relations with characters and players - Tightknit conflict, whether political, social or other - Mystical / Fantastical settings with lots of intrigue Playstyle I tend to put a lot of thought and energy into character creation, as well as fleshing out a very defined archetype of personality, meaning that most of the characters I create tend to explore a specific aspect that I try my best to incorporate into the campaign I value an equal spotlight for all, so I am more than delighted to experience a great session with all party members and interacting with them, just as much as I also enjoy some Player to NPC interaction As with all things stated, I think it becomes clear that I'm a heavy Roleplay focused Player, but of course a good combat encounter gets me just as hyped I won't hold back on most topics you wish to experience, as long as everything is clearly stated from the beginning I also don't mind if you wish to explore homebrew systems What I'm hoping for What I hope for the most is an accepting and appreciating group of individuals I can confidently roleplay and have fun with I would prefer playing with people who have had some prior experience, but wouldn't be opposed to playing with newcomers Do I seem like someone you'd like to invite? Hi everyone! I’m a player in my 30s (UK) who is relatively new to the hobby but completely obsessed with the storytelling side of D&D. I’m looking for a group that values character growth, secrets, and a bit of "chaos" in the party dynamic. I have a few character concepts ready to go, ranging from tragic to high-energy: Option 1: The "Blessed" Orphan (Warlock) The Hook: Sold to a temple as a child, he spent years desperately praying for a god to choose him. When a voice finally answered, he assumed it was divine. In reality, it’s a Patron playing a long game. The Twist: He views his Patron as his only true friend and protector. He is completely blind to their dark influence, even when he’s caught talking to himself or carrying out "favors" that don't quite seem holy. He has a fractured mind and a heart of gold—a dangerous combination. Option 2: The Mercenary Cleric. The Hook: A Cleric who finished his training but realized prayers don't pay the bills. He’s obsessed with gold—not just for greed, but because he’s searching for something (his past, a home, a legacy) and believes money is the only way to buy answers. The Vibe: He’ll keep you alive, but he might send you an invoice afterward. Option 3: The High-Fashion Arcanist (Sorcerer) The Hook: A "cunty" sorcerer who knows he’s the most powerful person in the room—he just doesn't know why. He’s on a quest to find his origins, mostly because he’s annoyed that his magic is more talented than he is. What I Bring to the Table: I’m in my 30s; and unable to find a group to meet in person *cries alone in the dark...*. So finding a group online to meet regularly will be awesome. Ideally, people 30+ will be great (I don't discriminate the twenties but I started to find myself more connected with people around my age who have been geeks since the times of Slayers or Inu Yasha). I love deep-diving into backstories and interacting with the world the DM builds. Even when playing "difficult" characters (like the gold-obsessed Cleric), I make sure it adds to the fun for everyone, not ruins the game. I'm obsessed with hack and slash videogames too #BayonettaSupremacy

Hi, I'm Matt. Sometimes filling out these almost makes me feel like I'm setting up a profile on a dating website. Awkward, amirite? I'm just your average neurodivergent gay nerd looking for an inclusive table of fellow misfits to have some misadventures with while rolling dice. Most of my D&D experience at this point is with 5E, as I've been playing since the playtests, but I've got considerably less with 2024. I would be open to either system, though I'm definitely more interested in continuing to explore some of the changes to various classes in 2024, or at the very least some hybrid of the two. My VTT experience is primarily through Roll20 using Discord for voice, though my last group used Foundry, and I'm pretty much open to anything as long as it works.  Lastly, the homebrew tag is mostly there because I'm hoping in my heart of hearts to find a cool DM open to letting me play an avariel elf, which sadly requires a bit of homebrew since WotC doesn't want to release an official version, and also a DM willing to allow flying PCs.  If you've gotten this far in this wall of text, thanks for your time and I hope you have a nice day.
