I’m currently looking for an online D&D group to join. My quest has two objectives: ⚔️ Objective 1: Roll many dice and make questionable decisions. 📚 Objective 2: Improve my English while doing so. Forever GM here looking to become a player. I would like to play a game that is roleplay and combat focused. I prefer mysteries and dark tones, so an Age of Umbra Daggerheart, Alien or Vaesen game works for me. Brindlewood Bay also hits my liking (it is not an option on the list). I have a lot of experience with Daggerheart if you need someone to also bounce ideas off of. Intermiediate experience with Vaesen and only played the Starter Set of Alien. I would love to try Brindlewood Bay (or any other mystery/detective system). Sunday, Tuesdays and Wendesdays are out of the question as they are my days that are always full, but I have flexible days other days. I am a travel photographer who has turned to a corporate portrait photographer. I love telling stories of people and places. I like taking that story telling to my table.

Hi, friends. It's been a looong time since I've gotten to play and I've been dying to get back into it. I wouldn't call myself a beginner, but there's still a lot to D&D that I have yet to explore. As for my preferences, nothing too crazy. I do believe in honoring the rules of the game, but story is king for me. A sensible amount of "I'll allow it" is always nice. 😂 I specifically mentioned Cebu in my post because, while I'm not opposed to playing online, I'd really love to play in person. Having done both, nothing beats IRL. Though I do get the allure of online sessions because those are so much easier to plan. I guess what I'm saying is that even if we were to play online, it'd be nice if we were all in Cebu so the option to play in person is there whenever it's feasible. Not sure if that's too much to ask, given how schedules work. 😅 If not, still down to play with a good group that's based in other cities (or even other countries as long as timezone differences don't make things too difficult). Anyway, thanks for reading. Hope to hear from some people.

Howdy-ho fellow story lovers! I’ve been playing D&D 5/5.5e for the past 5 years or so and am looking to experience other worlds & systems. It is based in and around Waterdeep and has now spread across Faerun.  I dig detailed characters and villlans with personality, cohesive groups, connections to the pantheon, gameplay with a reason, political intrigue, an ubundant and lore filled landscape, purpose driven aventure, puzzles, theatrical and descriptive role playing, and tactical battles...and all of the other amazing things DnD provides.  It is, after all, the greatest game ever invented.  I dig open gameplay that alllows for creativity, individuallism, expression, logic, chaos, fun, and real adventure. Hi, I am an experienced D&D player who has also dabbled as a DM in the past. I have been playing on and off since high school (I am now in my 30s). My campaigns have often ended early due to real-life schedules, so while I enjoy the game deeply, my late-level experience is somewhat limited. However, I am hoping to find a group where we can build a story together that might go the distance. My favorite games focus on exploring player character backgrounds as part of the campaign narrative. I put a lot of work into character creation, so I value seeing that development happen for myself and my teammates. I would be interested in trying the Pathfinder 2E system or Daggerheart, but have no experience with those compared to 2014/2024 DnD 5e. A few notes about me: I tend to be soft-spoken with new people, but I warm up quickly once I get to know the group. Logistically, I am in the Eastern Time Zone and work typical office hours. For the most part, I am available on evenings (except Monday nights). I prefer bi-weekly sessions, though I can accommodate weekly if needed.

Greetings! I'm Micah. I prefer a good balance of combat and roleplay; so I'm not really into dungeon-crawls (all combat, no roleplay), but also not interested in political intrigue either (all roleplay, no combat). I'm available most evenings; just can't do evenings on Wednesdays (I'm in US Central Time). I would prefer weekly games, and I will not join paid games. I consider myself an intermediate player, but only about half of my experience is actually playing. There's been a long stretch of time that I haven't played, but I've still been reading all sorts of D&D stuff and hyperfixating on different things. Hello, there!  I am a veteran player (38-years-old) who switched to D&D 5.5 ever since its release and has played sessions weekly (even multiple times a week). My window of availability is between 6 AM and 11:30 AM, and between 2 PM and 10:30 PM, CET times. I like exploration and all kinds of discoveries. I enjoy RP the most when it furthers the characters, the campaign's story or both. I like combat especially when it mixes in interesting mechanics and objectives, and when I can be creative in my descriptions and my actions. I love overcoming challenges, whatever form they take, through teamwork and preparation. I like believable character actions, because I value immersion a lot, which is why I generally prefer a serious tone over a silly one. Jokes are more than fine, but I much prefer it when they don't undercut tense and emotional moments. As a player, I'm committed, invested in the story and a note-taker, I gravitate the most towards themes related to morality, knowledge/lore and creativity/art, I take my time to gather information and strategize, and I'm good-aligned pretty much always. I never come into a campaign with a clear idea on what character to play, as I very much enjoy trying to weave species, class, concept and backstory with the campaign's world, letting the latter inspire character creation itself. So I tend to ask some questions after I join a new game, to get a better idea and then decide, with an eye on party composition as well. As a person, I'm a big believer in fairness, I'm as anti-toxicity as it gets, and I'm respectful, inclusive, punctual and communicative.

Hiya! I'm Spark (he/him), and I've been playing ttrpgs for about 10 years in Italy. I've played mainly Dnd 5th edition as both a player and a DM, and in the meantime I've learnt a couple other systems. I create and use a lot of homebrew in the campaigns I master, mostly things I have plucked from other systems. I am currently mastering a campaing, so I am not available as a GM right now, but in the future I might. I think roleplay and storytelling is the core of every tabletop experience. Combat/gameplay and RP are not mutually exclusive- I find that how/why a character fights is/should reflect who that character is, and the technical stuff -such as buildmaking- helps make a game satisfying. I love the silly moments in serious sessions (as long as they are not overly distracting) and the serious moments in silly sessions. I am happy to teach some things I learnt along the way to unexperienced players. I am generally quite open to almost everything, as long as I'm capable of roleplaying without obstacles (EX. no play by post). I like learning new systems so as long as I don't have to buy manuals, you can suggest me anything.  I have experience with/have learnt: DND5e, Pathfinder 1e, LANCER, Pokerole, 7th Sea, FATE, Wilderfeast, Traveller, Stars without Number. I think about a theme then I try to find the appropriate classes, feats,... that incoporate that specific theme. I am experienced as a player and DM, and I am usually my group's PHB. I am available after working hours. (>19:00 GMT+2)  Around 21pm I'd appreciate a small break to tuck in my kids ;) As for preferences, anything goes, except graphic sexual violence and murdering kids. (True kids, not immortal vampires or shapeshters)

Well met, stranger. I'm hiddenson. I've played different rpgs since the 90's, mostly as GM. I prefer GMing because I love world building and long-term campaigns. I revel in many layered plots that peel like a bag of onions, tuning preset worlds to my signature flavor of horror and hardcore mechanics. My style is deeply immersive, roleplay heavy, and Rule of Cool. I prefer acting in the first person with people who invest creativity in their characters. At the moment, I'd like to focus on horror games and Cyberpunk. I'd love to play other settings of the World of Darkness. I have extensive experience in Call of Cthulhu in the 1920's as well as in Cyberpunk 2020 so I'll adapt to new editions easily. Hi there!  I'm a mature player looking for a game with people who love the comraderie of roleplay. I enjoy a game that is heavy RP balanced with combat, problem solving, political intrigue, travel, survival or whatever aspects the GM wants to put our merry band up against.  I'm in your world now.  I love homebrews and I'm looking for a sandbox game with an experienced GM who understands and values player agency. Play Style:  I'm serious about having fun.  I'm low maintenance and I fit well into most groups that are focused on the campaign at hand.  I'm a stickler about showing up on time to every session. I put a good effort into making my characters as much for for the GM and other players are they are for me. I'm not much of a min/maxer. I don't know the powerful builds as I tend to add to my characters in a manner consistent with their back story.  I write modest back stories and try to include multiple hooks that the GM might choose to use somewhere along the road.  I prefer to see a good story or interesting outcome rather than fuss over rules.  I tend to get in character and stay in character for an entire session.   Don't ask me for a character concept until I have some understanding of the campaign lore.  I like to create characters that feel part of the world. Themes:  I'm interested in traditional fantasy, can be low or high magic.  My favourite fantasy authors are Tolkien and Guy Gavriel Kaye.    I am going to give a hard pass on horror or modern settings. Experience: I was first introduced to DnD5e online at the front end of the pandemic and have played multiple games since then.  I have GMed homebrews in 5e on several occasions, but my first choice now and forever is to participate as a member of the party. I prefer Foundry VTT, but I have participated in past games using Roll20 and DndBeyond.  I have fairly in depth knowlege of the inner workings of FVTTv12/13.  I have my own Foundry server currently running v14 with no particular end in mind. Prefered Times:  I'm in Ontario Canada (UTC-4) and would prefer games that were afternoons or evenings local time.  North American games or evening UK/EU games can fit my schedule nicely.  I'm available any day except Thursday.   My ideal schedule would be a weekly game of at least 3-4 hours.  I'm not adverse to longer sessions, provided we have appropriate intermissions. My Setup:  I have a nice quiet office and professional studio quality audio chain.  I don't use a web cam.   I have a beefy computer and fibre internet to my desk. Objective:  I'm looking forward to meeting new people, making new online friends and either joining a fresh campaign or fitting in to one already in progress.  If we're a good fit, I'll stick around for multiple campaigns.  I'm in this for the long haul. My timezone is GMT and my only language is english. I dont like sharing my face online but am more than happy to chat in Vc and show my dice rolls live if the honour system is not in play. I also havent begun voice training so please bare that in mind. I do prefer to play with people 21+ as a personal preference and of similar age to mine own.  I am happy to play an offical campaign or homebrew as well as one-shots and dungeon crawls. I do value the roleplaying element of the game and like games where the players get a chance to express their characters. I like to play magic oriented classes and as women, trans or cis. I usually go for haf-orcs, half-elves, aasimar and teifling as my races. So far I have played a Sorcerer and an Eldritch Knight. I am not interested in erotic roleplaying, pay for play or scenes involving unneccsary and horrific gore or torture. Please DO NOT contact me if this what you run, I am not inteterested. Sexual suggestive content is fine just so long as everyone at the table concents.  As mentioned previously, I do prefer playing with LGBTQ+ folk however I am also happy to play with people outside the community just so long as my pronouns and gender identity is respected. I havent yet played Lancer but I am a HUGE mecha fan - I love Gundam (the tr6 woundwort being my favourite design) and titanfall 2 will always have a soft spot in my heart right beside Pacific Rim 1!  Experience... So far I have completed one roleplay focused one-shot over discord, there was no combat and fairly light rules but I did help me begin to understand rolls and modifiers. I have also completed a session 0 with light combat. I am extremely green and my only other DnD related exprience is BG3 wherein I played a draconic sorcerer with high charisma ti be a chatterbox. I have built a basic lvl 3 character on DnD beyond.  I have no experience as a healer, as support or as a tank.  Playstyle? Given my lack of expreince, I have only so far explored theater of the mind with the use of music and reference images as visual aids over a discord voice call however I do believe I could handle a written campaign as I am an amateur writer. - I dont have any miniatures and havent used any either. I do have two sets of dice, the "Dragons of Storm Isle" starter set and access to DnD beyond.  I prefer cooperative talk at the table as well, with everyone having the opportunity to have their say, if possible within the story and our hcaracters aren't all split up. Logistics.  I would prefer to play on weekends between 5pm and 12pm (I dont mind playing later but WILL have to be quiet) however I may consider weekdas as well as at 5pm to 10pm. PLEASE NOTE: I suffer from insomnia so even on good days I may be sleepy and struggle to awake but I am usually at my best in the afternoons. Thankyou for taking the time to read through my profile! A 26 year old from the United Kingdom, and as such, i wish to only join games that are near that timezone (So european games only) I am not gonna do a lengthy intro like i was writing before, i will give you some quick notes about me Likes:  - Videogames, Anime, Youtube (Average chronically online people things) - Animals (My number 1 is the red panda, and basically everything in the Musteloidea family)  TTRPGs: - I have experience in both PF2e and D&D5e (2014 rules havent done the new ones yet).  - I am comfortable learning new systems - I prefer the roleplay, exploration and discovering aspects, combat is fine but I HATE when it drags on. - I also do not like sci-fi/mecha stuff, only high fantasy sort of settings for me. From Vampire 20th, to Hunter the Reckoning. I couldnt list the correct Hunter game on my profile cause I dont like 5E WoD whatsoever and do not want to be associated with it.
