CURRENTLY INACTIVE (life got in the way and i can't figure out how to mark my profile as inactive, whoops) I'm a 23 year old design student from Finland and a big enjoyer of all things nerdy and/or artistic. TTRPGs are collaborative storytelling first for me. I put a lot of thought and effort into engaging with the campaign and other players' characters, and into creating characters others would enjoy playing with. I'm very roleplay heavy, but I'm not against combat or challenge by any means. Humor and whimsy are always welcome as long as there is something sincere at the core of the story and characters. I'm open to a variety of tones, themes, and scales in campaigns. I've played DnD 5E (2014) on and off for a few years, and have played one campaign of Troika! and some one-shots with other systems. I don't have the rules memorized but have a solid understanding of how things work. I'm a quick learner and open to other systems too. I'll play with players of any experience level and like to help where I can.  I'm comfortable playing either on mic or through text, and may be open to being on cam after getting to know the group. Do note that my schedule is a bit unstable, but I do my best to participate and will always communicate in advance if I'm not able to make it. Also, I have some issues processing sound that make it hard for me to understand people, especially if there's a lot of background noise or the person's accent is very different from what I'm used to. I might ask people to repeat themselves. While I would say I'm generally confident in roleplay, I struggle with character voices and putting dialogue into words, and may occasionally need a moment to think or to simplify it (like "my character compliments the bard's song"). Communication between players and the GM is very important to me to make sure everyone is on the same page and to resolve any issues.
