Hi, I'm Patchwork. I'm a 20-something geek who enjoys spending his time on various TTRPGs. My previous group fell apart due to scheduling issues, as most do, so I'm here looking for something new! I'm mostly into the roleplaying aspect of tabletop games, I enjoy immersing myself in whatever character and world I'm put into, and bouncing off party hijinks! I usually put a lot of effort and a decent amount of writing into my characters and their backstories, but I usually do that as a creative writing exercise, and never expect a DM to know it front-to-back (I always put a summarization/TL;DR first). But if you do, all the better! In terms of systems and experience with VTTs, you can already see what systems I've looked into/played, and I've gamed a bunch in Roll20 and Foundry, so I'll have no issues navigating either of those VTTs. But if you have something new, I'm always willing to learn! As for the kind of games I'm looking for, I've been playing Fantasy for quite a long time now, and I'm hoping to get into some Sci-fi settings, and trying out systems in that niche. I’ve been gaming a long time. By 15 (in 1995) I was a Games Rep, running demos at conventions. I love TTRPGs, whether player or GM. I just want a table that actually plays. System-wise, I like indie and old-school games, with enough crunch that every character and build feels mechanically unique and satisfying. That said, I’ll play narrative systems too. I care less about the label and more about whether the game does what it claims it does. Tone-wise, I think the best games have a healthy mix of insane hilarity, fantastical impossibility, and the horrors of reality. Just enough to make it feel real before it gets unreal. If it’s all comedy, it’s weightless. If it’s all grim, it’s depressing. I want the mix, on purpose. I’m a professional fiction writer with decades of experience. At the table, this means good improvisation skills and idea generation, as well as a good sense of story hooks and structure. If you’re creative and you communicate, we’ll get on great! I'm 34M in Bournemouth UK and over the last 5 years I've run a multi year 5e campaign as DM and am now running another with 5.5e, me and my players only get to play on Fridays or Saturdays that work for all of us which can be a struggle sometimes but I need more dice rolling in my life! I'm up for anything, silly, serious or a mix and enjoy both combat and roleplay and would love to have both but am fine if the game leans more heavily on either. Really like campaigns where exploration is the focus of the campaign with lots of downtime so we can all the PCs interact with each other and even bond with other characters (Not necessarily on a romantic way). Hello I'd be interested in joining a group if possible. I am available Mon-sun starting at 7pm est except wed. I rarely miss sessions and if I think there's even a possibility, I would give a heads up. I don't mind if it's already ongoing as long as it's not to far in. I enjoy character bonding as a group and as individuals and my favorite thing about DND is creating backstories. I have a few lined up that I typically discuss with the DM to see which would be the best fit. One backstory for a example is a human rogue who's a member of a f very powerful crime family. Though he's in hiding since he's constantly getting in there way of business to ruin it. I also try to get everyone involved if I notice someone having trouble getting involved. I do prefer to focus more on the game than talking outside of game.

Been playing DnD for many years, but lately I mostly DM so I am looking for a change of pace to play a character instead. I'm chill, laid back, friendly, and try to be helpful in and out of RPing. I love orcs and rogues but tend to pic a class that rounds out the party. Hey everyone! I am a somewhat experienced player and GM with the 5e 2014 rules but I am also willing to learn the 2024 rules if they are used. I currently alternate between playing and running a weekly game on Fridays. Additionally I am now looking to join an additional game. I am looking to join a new or ongoing long-running campaign with a focus on role playing because I want to get better in that part of dnd and is the one thing that falls a bit short with my current group. Setting-wise I am open to pretty much anything and I am happy with playing in a homebrew setting as well as a Module. Generally I like to play martial classes or half-casters and non-core races but I am always happy to work with the DM and the group to make a character that fits. My name is SolarisNight, or just Solaris. I am a D&D 5E player with over six years of experience, and have recently begun delving into Pathfinder 2E, haven't really played a game with the system, but I am willing to learn it. My schedule at the moment is packed, so I can only play on Fridays evenings. I prefer a good mix of Combat and Roleplay, but I prefer RP over Combat. I usually tend to play martial classes, cause I find them easier, but I am willing to play whatever the group might need. I prefer high fantasy, but I am willing to try anyting once, and I would love to be part of a long-term campaign. I have played in several, years spanning campaigns before, so I am willing to commit.

I've played quite a lot since I've entered the hobby, its hard to say what i gravitate most towards, i can warm up to everything as long as the people i'm playing with are cool peeps about it and enjoy joking around and just having a chill time if the moment is right. As for APs, i've played Abomination Vault, Fist of the Ruby Pheonix, Age of Ashes and have started Spore wars but unfortunately that doesn't seem to be going anywhere any more. Thats all i can think about to write for now so, if you are looking for an experienced players that eager to enter and experience your worlds or be part of a nice group of people congregated to have fun, i'd like to think i'm the right guy for the job! I try and create the best possible situation for all players whoever it is I am a dm for, for me it's mostly important that everyone has fun and I try my best to make sure they do. I like making psychological horror aspects and also annoying or funny characters mostly, but I myself feel like I just do what fits the group and narrative Right now I'm DMing on Saturdays and playing dnd on Mondays so those days I will not be available

Hey! I'm Wren, I'm a pretty experienced TTRPG player who unfortunately had to leave my previous games when I moved abroad for university, so I'm looking for some new ones. I'm studying Linguistics and Anthropology, I speak 7 languages (EN, NL, FR, CSB, DE, JP, LA) and I love cooking/baking, reading, hiking and playing the flute. I tend to like more social-based, political, mysterious and investigative campaigns with more of a focus on roleplay and developing interesting and interactive relationships with NPCs and PCs alike. As someone who's done theatre and improv since I was a child, I'm very comfortable inhabiting lots of different characters and archetypes and I never play just one sort of personality type. Taking centre stage and thinking on my feet come very naturally to me too, and I always make sure to keep roleplay grounded in the setting and context. I prefer to play a supporting role in terms of combat though, as I love seeing the combined actions of myself and my party members form something greater than the sum of its parts. Teamwork is really cool :D Also I'm queer, not really into labels but my pronouns are they/them.

Hello everyone! my name is Blair, and I am a player looking for more games to play! my schedule just recently opened up, and i need to roll dice and tell some stories! a bit about me: a bulk of my TTRPG experience comes from playing 2014, but i do have experience playing other systems as well, such as Candela Obscura, Daggerheart, Pathfinder, and I've even played a homebrew version of DND. when it comes to me as a player, i do tend to play spellcasters, it just intrigues me a lot more than the martial classes, and when I do play martial classes, i always give them limited magic. I'm also a pretty respectful tablemate, i try to give my fellow players a chance to get involved. along with that, I do engage in romance, both PC and NPC, just depends on whether or not the table is down with that! oh, speaking of romance, i am Queer and trans! with the world that we exist in, I find that it is better for my table to know that upfront than learn that not only am I not cis but also, I like both boys and girls, it's just a fact of life. with that you must be a Queer and trans friendly table as well as a disabled friendly table since I am disabled as well! now to move onto a gm I would prefer: typically, how I'd parse out a potential good GM for me to play under, is I'd do a one-shot with them and see if we're a good fit, and if we can have good conversation, but considering the nature of a post like this, I am willing to forego that! that being said, you still need to have the following: be America-based and even more specifically be CST-based- since I am based in North America, I just can't do uber late games. it's not good for my mental health, and it causes me to be a terrible person for responding to DMs. RP skills - this doesn't mean that you shouldn't at least try to incorporate combat in your sessions but i need those RP skills sharpened to the max! homebrew vs. Module - I am willing to play a module but i would prefer a homebrew world. it shows that you are more than willing to be flexible with your players' stories and want to share that creativity with the world at large. recording vs basic home game - I am very okay and do consent to a recorded game, considering i have been in a few actual plays! that, however, does not mean that i will turn my nose up at a basic home game, in fact that is one of my favorites!

I'm 21 ive only really played TTRPG's at home and with friends but a lot more nowadays people are moving and getting busy in their day to day and im getting that itch to play when no living soul has time for me I'd like to find some people i can regularly game with Im not picky i love Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Modern, Post-Modern, Horror, etc. I do like to keep the mood up and roll out silly little dad jokes and low bar comedy(it lands sometimes) but i know when to step back for serious moments and let drama play out Final note if its not a system im familar with I'd be more than happy to learn if someone will sit and explain the confusing bits once i figure things out im good General avalibility will be 12pm-10pm Sundays and Mondays EST.

I started playing when I was 10 years old back when my father designed a simple TTRPG system for me to enjoy and spend time together. Ever since, I fell in love with the hobby and introduced many players into homebrew systems and even got them to read and play actual systems after several years of gaming. I focus heavily on informed improvisation and adjusting to my player's wishes, as well as introducing them into the narrative both by their backstory or the future events being related to themes and character arcs. I used to dislike D&D but after having an actually good experience (which took a while, since I had several poor ones before) I started to DM for the most popular system and learnt how to love it. I've played Fallout 2d20 before and actually was a Game Master for a group that had a fallout (nudge nudge, hehe, get it—fallout).
