My name is Pearl (32, He/Them) I am a west coaster (PST) and typically work nights, but will be available for the game on saturdays I'm a writer, gamer, sometimes GM, and love roleplay and storywriting to death and back. And I sometimes take pictures of animals and nature. I am West coast (pst/-8GMT). I'm in that awkward zone between beginner and intermediate experience when it comes to DND 5e/5.5e. I'm fairly experienced with Modiphious' 2d20 system.

I have an absolute ton of time on my hands now and I'd like to step back into TTRPG's! I'd like to find a very old-fashioned group if possible, one a lot more into the story and roleplaying of their characters, blended well with the actual playing of the game. Finding group dynamics are a lot of fun and I enjoy writing a lot about the characters I play, as well as in general. Would love a group that is heavily invested in the adventure and what everyone else's goals are. Wizards and casters are obviously my bread and butter, so I almost always play some form of them. Huge on puzzles, riddles and mysteries, stuff that really makes scholarly-characters tick. I also care a lot about the moment-to-moment interactions and immersion, how magic works and is written means a lot to me. I love adventures of all themes, whether dark, serious or somewhat light-hearted. Availability: Any time really! Am my own boss, so I can flex to whatever! Would love to play at least once a week, and longer hours are always fun. I'm NA East, but I can adjust pretty well early or late.

New to the system have 10 years of ttrpg experience and want to jump in my first game

I go by Elf. Any/All pronouns.I started playing tabletops back in 2017. First 5E, then Pathfinder, and now Daggerheart is my go-to game. I've been playing since the beta in 2024, I enjoy how the system encourages creativity from the GM and the players, how you can add "flavor" to the games spells, weapons, etc. I could go on and on about why I love this game, but I have a profile to write. I'm also a roleplayer and a writer. I often roleplay with friends over Discord, and have wrote a few stories, though most of them are sitting on my desktop. I like coming up with fun characters. Some take inspiration from The Elder Scrolls or RWBY or ZZZ. One of my recent characters was inspired by Fate. Never watched, but I liked the design/concept. I tend to get ideas that sometimes explode out of me. Next thing you know, I'm openining up a character sheet. So hours. A weekly game would be ideal. I'm kind of a night owl. My time zone is EST. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, I'm available for games from 6 PM to 6 AM the next day. Wednesdays, I'm available from 1 AM (technically Thursday, but you get the idea) to 6 AM. Friday and Saturday, I'm available from 8 PM to 6 AM. Sunday is usually my busy day. Sometimes this changes, but not enough to where I can commit to a Sunday game. For late night games, I can always get some caffeine in me to keep myself awake. I've done so before. It shouldn't be a problem if we're only playing once or twice a week. One last thing to mention: I sometimes use a voice changer for roleplaying purposes to sound a certain way when speaking as my character. As mentioned above, I love roleplaying and sometimes get really into it. This is comepletly optional, however, and I don't need it if it'll be too distracting. I can turn it on and off with a press of a key. So that's it. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hello everyone! my name is Blair, and I am a player looking for more games to play! my schedule just recently opened up, and i need to roll dice and tell some stories! a bit about me: a bulk of my TTRPG experience comes from playing 2014, but i do have experience playing other systems as well, such as Candela Obscura, Daggerheart, Pathfinder, and I've even played a homebrew version of DND. when it comes to me as a player, i do tend to play spellcasters, it just intrigues me a lot more than the martial classes, and when I do play martial classes, i always give them limited magic. I'm also a pretty respectful tablemate, i try to give my fellow players a chance to get involved. along with that, I do engage in romance, both PC and NPC, just depends on whether or not the table is down with that! oh, speaking of romance, i am Queer and trans! with the world that we exist in, I find that it is better for my table to know that upfront than learn that not only am I not cis but also, I like both boys and girls, it's just a fact of life. with that you must be a Queer and trans friendly table as well as a disabled friendly table since I am disabled as well! now to move onto a gm I would prefer: typically, how I'd parse out a potential good GM for me to play under, is I'd do a one-shot with them and see if we're a good fit, and if we can have good conversation, but considering the nature of a post like this, I am willing to forego that! that being said, you still need to have the following: be America-based and even more specifically be CST-based- since I am based in North America, I just can't do uber late games. it's not good for my mental health, and it causes me to be a terrible person for responding to DMs. RP skills - this doesn't mean that you shouldn't at least try to incorporate combat in your sessions but i need those RP skills sharpened to the max! homebrew vs. Module - I am willing to play a module but i would prefer a homebrew world. it shows that you are more than willing to be flexible with your players' stories and want to share that creativity with the world at large. recording vs basic home game - I am very okay and do consent to a recorded game, considering i have been in a few actual plays! that, however, does not mean that i will turn my nose up at a basic home game, in fact that is one of my favorites!

My actual experience in campaigns are limited to about three? Two DnD campaigns, and one from Lancer, but god knows I need to be in more. Well met, stranger. I'm hiddenson. I've played different rpgs since the 90's, both as GM and as player, and I'd like to get back into it. I prefer GMing because I enjoy world building and long-term campaigns, delving deeper into the preset worlds to give them my signature flavor of horror and hardcore mechanics. My style is immersive, often choosing to play the right track at the right second for the right scene. That said, I enjoy the acting and teamwork part of playing, so I'd like to get the chance to do that as well from time to time. I'm also launching a paid Vampire: The Masquerade 5e soon, so I'm willing to trade seats if our tastes and playstyles match. As this is my player profile, I'd like to focus on roleplay heavy horror games. I'd love to play other settings of the World of Darkness. I have a lot of experience in the previous edition of Call of Cthulhu set in the Roaring Twenties, so I'm sure I can adapt to the new edition easily. I like roleplay heavy games, but having a fight is also good. I tend to homebrew stuff, because any game engine is just an invitation for creativity. Usually play sneaky-snoopy characters, chaos goblins and/or demons like Tyranny (my favorite!).

Hello! I'm Efim, quite a player of Shadowrun and (to lesser extent) Cyberpunk 2020. Have some experience with Exalted and Starfinder, and tried to GM PF1e (which died due to schedules). Thanks to being deep into CP2020 and SR, I'm quite good with both RP part of the things and the combat part. I prefer live text games, but voice games and long-term PBPs are also fine (assuming they don't die within a week). While in games, I prefer less linear, more sandoxy types of games where we can do smart things with what we're given, make up some indirect ideas and execute those to solve whatever issues there are. It applies to when combat starts as well - as fun it is to throw fireballs, it gets a bit old after you do it 20, 30, 50, however many times, so some smart approaches is what I try to do whenever possible. Thanks to my pretty ezpz work schedule, I'm more or less capable to play text games at any time of the day except when I'm asleep (midnight-7 AM in GMT+3 zone), and voice games after ~4.30 PM. Can stay for night sessions too, but prefer not to if possible. I also prefer for sessions to not be more than 6 hours if possible, because it takes quite a bit of a strain on attention and not falling asleep, heh.

Heya, I'm Medea (31f). I've been playing various ttrpgs on and off for more than 15years, and D&D 5e specifically (2014) for about years. My main draw to ttrpgs is the roleplaying aspect, I love creating characters with interesting backstories and plenty of big and small hooks for possible sidequests and personal involvements, and then exploring the setting and campaign through that character's eyes! I'm very flexible about what class and species I end up playing, though rogues and warlocks are my favourites I can comfortably fill pretty much any role a party might need for balance. I love coming up with backstories alongside at least one other player and work out a nice tie-in into the main story of the campaign to make my character really fit with the theme and the party. I also really enjoy combat, especially encounters that feel meaningful to the story and require a little bit of strategy and clever thinking. I also do like exploration, but since I have no sense of direction nor distance and cannot visually imagine things, it can be a bit tough on me and I always work better with (battle-) maps and visual aids. In a D&D group, I really look for a harmonic table, a group of players that is accepting, supportive of each other, and enjoying spending time together. In my opinion, you know a table is solid when the characters a facing conflict amongst each other but the players still work as a team and enjoy playing out the difficulties without animosity. I should probably mention that I'm very asexual and don't enjoy sexism or any sort of sexual content at the table, neither in-game nor outside of it. Finally, there's not too much to tell about myself. I live in Central Europe, I love classic horror movies and all sorts of classic and dark fantasy stories (I'm an especially big fan of the Witcher novels and the older Dragon Age games!), and I've recently been trying to get back into writing again! I can be a bit quiet when I join a new group, but usually that goes away reasonably quickly once I feel welcome! I do have minor audio processing issues, so I may occasionally ask for people to repeat themselves because my brain refuses to take in information sometimes.

I’m a 22/M looking to join a D&D group that plays any time Monday–Thursday (evenings preferred) and occasionally Friday. Weekends are usually tough for me due to a family that believes dnd is the devil, but it IS possible. I’ve played in one one-shot before, but I’ll be honest, I didn’t get much of a chance to actually play due to being talked over a lot (and a d100 roll that gave everyone some random ass effect and im the only one who got anything remotely negative [if i spoke without rhyming i would get struck by lightning], but thats besides the point). So while I’m technically newer to live play, I’ve spent a ton of time learning the game and building characters. I am in another campaign that I've kinda started, but the dm has gone on vacation for the summer, and I have no real scope on when they'll return. I have done around 10 or so sessions with them and know how to use DND tools now, so... I absolutely love D&D. In my spare time I create characters constantly, I have at least one concept ready for nearly every class, and I’m more than happy to fill whatever role a party needs, as long as I get to play the game. Hello, my name is Threydan and i am looking for a game for me and my friend to join. I am 22 and my friend is 24. We have both played a good understanding of the rules and have some experience under our belt (my friend more than me). We were hoping to find a game that is both serious but also light hearted. In other words: we wanna take the game serious, but we also wanna have the space to goof off and do silly things. In terms of combat/roleplay we hope for around a 50/50. 60/40 or 40/60 works for us too. We hope to join a new campaign, but are okay with one that has been going for a few sessions. We both have characters in mind we wanna play, not fully fledged out though as we would still wanna make sure our characters fit the setting and party. My friend is planning on playing a sorcerer and i'm planning on playing a wizard. The dynamic we hope to go for is a sort of rivalry, where we both try to say that our class is better and try to one up eachother, along with some banter. Naturally though we don't want to overdo this as we don't wanna hog the spotlight for the 2 of us and we wanna interact with the rest of the party as well. Lastly some technical details. We are available on weekdays in the evening. Preferably starting at around 19:30. Heyo, I'm Bo, 30 and queer. Been playing DND since 2019 ish, haven't had the chance to explore other systems and DND somehow always seems the easiest to find a game for. I only recently decided to try voice games as I've been playing through live text usually. Critical Role is what got me into dnd and rpg stuff but I've been loving Bards of New York lately, and when I say lately it's been over a year of constantly watching their stuff. Other than that I love Witcher, Dragon Age, Skyrim obviously, fantasy is my main genre I think, though I like watching sci fi movies and shows. Bioshock Infinite is another games I love and I love horror media, just not a fan of slashers and very gore focused things, which is why Mike Flanagan's stuff is my favorite but also I say that and yet zombie media is also something I enjoy so lmao. I usually prefer RP over combat but I figured combat can be very useful to test your creativity and problem solving as well, just not looking to solely be focused on that. I'm in the gmt+2 timezone, usually prefer evening games in my time and currently Saturday evenings are occupied by me DM-ing. I would also like to add that I have a pretty old laptop and I'm pretty sure most if not all VTTs just don't work on it, if that's a must for games.

I enjoy a game that is heavy RP balanced with combat, problem solving, political intrigue, travel, survival or whatever aspects the GM wants to put our merry band up against. I'm in your world now. Play Style: I'm serious about having fun. I'm low maintenance and I fit well into most groups that are focused on the campaign at hand. I'm a stickler about showing up on time to every session. I put a good effort into making my characters fun for the other players as well as the GM. I'm not much of a min/maxer. I don't know the powerful builds as I tend to add to my characters in a manner consistent with their back story. I write modest back stories and try to include multiple hooks that the GM might choose to use somewhere along the road. I prefer to see a good story or interesting outcome rather than fuss over rules. I tend to get in character and stay in character for an entire session. I'm not adverse to long sessions, provided we have appropriate intermissions. Themes: I'm less interested in horror, more interested in high fantasy settings. Experience: I haven't played much for two or three years, so I'll need a bit of help getting back up to speed. I know nothing about 5e 2024 rule changes. I'm generally a quick study and willing to learn anything new. I'd prefer a DnD 5e 2014 game, but would be willing to learn 2024 and I do have some experience with PF2e. I have GMed homebrews in 5e on several occasions, but my first choice is to participate as a member of the party. I prefer Foundry VTT, but I have participated in past games using Roll20 and DndBeyond. I have fairly in depth knowlege of the inner workings of FVTTv12/13. Prefered Times: I'm in Ontario Canada (UTC-4) and would prefer games that were afternoons or evenings local time. North American games or evening UK/EU games can fit my schedule nicely. My schedule is fairly open, so I'm easy to accommodate. My ideal schedule would be a weekly game of at least 3-4 hours. I consider myself an immersion-first kind of player, I like to make my decisions in character with the same thought process my characters would if possible. I tend to like to play as characters that I've conceptualized beforehand, but deliberately make a bit hollow initially so that I can customize them to better fit within any campaign I might find myself joining.

I am, Ibiss, 26M, a veteran text-based roleplayer (started c. 2013) trying to find my place in other forms of roleplay. In roleplay, I am looking for the narrative aspects, this feel of creating a fun story with unique characters. I prefer simpler systems, and I can't stand metagaming. As for character creation, I prioritize flavor. I love parties full of personality and variety, where no character feels the same. Normally I play as anthropomorphic characters, as most fantasy/sci-fi settings barely give me much to make a human character stand out (humans can be very interesting, specially in real-life based settings, but these aspects often feel a bit too washed out in other settings, so don't blame me for taking the easy route) I prefer giving a long-term commitment when it comes to roleplay, so I expect honest communication about what I'm playing. I'm not here to "try", I am here to find experiences where I can stay for a good while. This means I will highly prioritize the idea of making a unique plot together as a group rather than experiencing the "default" version of any system. Including the cruelty of it, because it is a nececery part of all of it and it makes good stories. Out of that I kind of love darker horror like games, but it doesent have to be this way all the time, just a little preference. My favorite part of DnD is definitely a roleplay element, with story creation and a possibility to expirience something else about yourself through the eyes of the characters.

I'm Buff Mimic, I also enjoy Mimi, I'm 23 years old, MtF trans, and an enjoyer of a variety of TTRPG's though I'm currently on the look out for Vampire the Masquerade 5th Edition and or Daggerheart. I've done so much D&D and d20 esque systems that I've been yearning to play with some other dice systems. About Me I've played TTRPG's as a whole for about 11 years now, nearing 12, and I got into it with D&D 5e. Pathfinder 1e definitely has most of my experience past that, especially the Final Fantasy supplement of it, but I've also experienced Fabula Ultima, Legends in the Mist, Scion, ROOT, and of course VTM. Though VTM 5e is still new to me and I'm really looking to explore it further. I really love playing characters who have stronger personalities. Confident, smug, a bit teasing all around. I try to make them a bit more of the sweet sort, but I do enjoy leaning into a bit more of a brutish side when time allows. One can blame my love of Barbarian for it I am sure. That said being a brute doesn't mean I don't enjoy someone charismatic, and I often like to get deep into roleplay or character creation to give that personality something unique and fun about them. Outside of TTRPG's I have some favorite games in Final Fantasy 14, Monster Hunter World, Nuclear Throne, Celeste, and Rabbit & Steel. I like the games that can make my adrenaline spike... or allow me some fun to customize and be a lil bit of a fashionista with my character as I do enjoy making them look pretty. When it comes to games themselves I'm not really afraid of any real topics. I don't chomp at the bit for horrible things to happen, but if something makes sense to happen narratively I'd rather it happen so I can properly react to the horror that is put in front of me and give some real honest reactions so I can really emulate how my character would feel. I'll play pretty much anything however. I just have a preferance for wanting to learn some new things.

I'm River, he/him (trans m so heads up for my voice), 23 and finally taking the initative to try and join a hobby I've been meaning to get into for ages :] Though I haven't had the chance to play at a table yet, I'm not entirely new to ttrpgs. I've played through the video game versions of a few systems (pwotr, vtmb, bg3), have listened to a few podcasts and I like to read sourcebooks for fun and preparation, so I like to think I have a pretty good idea of how things work. As a player, I really love making characters most of all. The whole thing of shaping up a little guy to fit both into a party and the world they inhabit in general like a perfect puzzle piece. In a collaborative context getting to do so sounds even more incredible. Some of my favorite species/character archetypes are Vampires/Dhampirs and Fey (the folk horror type more than the whimsical type) closely followed by Elves, and I tend to lean more martial than caster, but I'm very happy and willing to build almost any manner of character to fit a campaign, especially as a newbie. Sidenote: timezone is EET but I'm a night owl with a lot of free time currently, so I could probably make most hours work :]
