Hey! I'm Ash, a nonbinary adult from California who's a big fan of things like Percy Jackson, Warhammer 40K, Star Wars/Star Trek, Hazbin Hotel, Murder Drones (and other GLITCH shows), and Wings of Fire. I like to play more casual, laid-back games - as in, not insanely serious, where a more silly character doesn't stand out too much. For example, a Southern tiefling bard whose favorite instrument is the fiddle, or a combo warlock-cleric, or even a warforged cleric of the forge. That being said, I am perfectly willing and able to create more serious characters if the setting leans that way. What I'm trying to say is, I'm pretty flexible in my character-making. I tend to play characters with well-thought-out backstories, and usually add in a quirk or two that sets them apart - along with a bit of myself, of course. I enjoy good roleplay, although I may have trouble with it myself, and I love a good combat. A lot of my past characters have been more combat-oriented, but even so, I still try to create interesting backstories and social interactions with them. I've been playing D&D for at least four or five years now, since before 5.5e, and I'm much more familiar with 5e than 5.5e. Also, I thoroughly enjoy helping to teach or actually teaching new people how to play. I'm almost always available to play on weekends between 10AM PST and 5PM PST, and would much prefer online games over in-person for this kind of thing.

Hi there! I'm a mature player looking for a game with people who love the comraderie of roleplay. I enjoy a game that is heavy RP balanced with combat, problem solving, political intrigue, travel, survival or whatever aspects the GM wants to put our merry band up against. I'm in your world now. I love homebrews and I'm looking for a sandbox game with an experienced GM who understands and values player agency. Play Style: I'm serious about having fun. I'm low maintenance and I fit well into most groups that are focused on the campaign at hand. I'm a stickler about showing up on time to every session. I put a good effort into making my characters as much for for the GM and other players are they are for me. I'm not much of a min/maxer. I don't know the powerful builds as I tend to add to my characters in a manner consistent with their back story. I write modest back stories and try to include multiple hooks that the GM might choose to use somewhere along the road. I prefer to see a good story or interesting outcome rather than fuss over rules. I tend to get in character and stay in character for an entire session. Don't ask me for a character concept until I have some understanding of the campaign lore. I like to create characters that feel part of the world. Themes: I'm less interested in modern settings or horror, more interested in traditional high fantasy. Experience: I was first introduced to DnD5e online at the front end of the pandemic and have played multiple games since then. I have GMed homebrews in 5e on several occasions, but my first choice now and forever is to participate as a member of the party. I prefer Foundry VTT, but I have participated in past games using Roll20 and DndBeyond. I have fairly in depth knowlege of the inner workings of FVTTv12/13. I have my own Foundry server currently running v14 with no particular end in mind. Prefered Times: I'm in Ontario Canada (UTC-4) and would prefer games that were afternoons or evenings local time. North American games or evening UK/EU games can fit my schedule nicely. I'm available any day except Thursday. My ideal schedule would be a weekly game of at least 3-4 hours. I'm not adverse to longer sessions, provided we have appropriate intermissions. My Setup: I have a nice quiet office and professional studio quality audio chain. I don't use a web cam. I have no experience as a healer, as support or as a tank. Playstyle? Hello, there! I am a veteran player (38-years-old) who switched to D&D 5.5 ever since its release and has played sessions weekly (even multiple times a week). My window of availability is between 6 AM and 11:30 AM, and between 2 PM and 10:30 PM, CET times. I like exploration and all kinds of discoveries. I enjoy RP the most when it furthers the characters, the campaign's story or both. I like combat especially when it mixes in interesting mechanics and objectives, and when I can be creative in my descriptions and my actions. I love overcoming challenges, whatever form they take, through teamwork and preparation. I like believable character actions, because I value immersion a lot, which is why I generally prefer a serious tone over a silly one. Jokes are more than fine, but I much prefer it when they don't undercut tense and emotional moments. As a player, I'm committed, invested in the story and a note-taker, I gravitate the most towards themes related to morality, knowledge/lore and creativity/art, I take my time to gather information and strategize, and I'm good-aligned pretty much always. I never come into a campaign with a clear idea on what character to play, as I very much enjoy trying to weave species, class, concept and backstory with the campaign's world, letting the latter inspire character creation itself. So I tend to ask some questions after I join a new game, to get a better idea and then decide, with an eye on party composition as well. As a person, I'm a big believer in fairness, I'm as anti-toxicity as it gets, and I'm respectful, inclusive, punctual and communicative.

I don't mind any type of campaign from espionage to guild adventures or even thieves in search of ancient relics, though I prefer high fantasy worlds and little to no restriction around playstyles (for example, limiting magic, magic items, etc.) and, if possible, more focus on the roleplay aspect both in and out of combat without overshadowing the gameplay of it. My campaigns have often ended early due to real-life schedules, so while I enjoy the game deeply, my late-level experience is somewhat limited. Good day, My name is Adomas, a male in my late thirties. Born and raised in Lithuania but currently living in Norway. Languages: English (C1), Lithuanian (Mother tongue), Norwegian (B2), Russian (B1). Most suitable times for games: CET 20,00-00,00 (Mondays, Tuesdays, Sundays), would commit 1-2 days per week. Gaming experience: Mostly I'm interested in DnD 5e, DnD 5,5e. Currently playing a 3 year long campaign while meeting people physically and Curse of Strahd (online). + PC gaming like BG, Destiny, ect. Gaming role: Player (sadly but don't have enough time to DM). Party roles: flexible. Usually I can perform in different roles, depending on what is needed for the party. A few of my chars include: Dragonborn Oath of vengeance paladin (16lvl), Pallid elf Twilight Cleric (7lvl), Wood elf warrior/archer(7lvl). Need to mention that roles were used in the 5e setting. Due to the fact that usually I'm quite committed to the character my roleplay can be a bit lacking. What I mean by that - it's not that easy for me to take different social roles in a game (out of combat), for example, drunkard, foul ect. Usually my IRL personality reflects on my chars in-game. Personal traits reflected on characters: Neutral: Not motivated by in-game gold/wealth, personal growth is secondary, success of a party is a priority. Strong feeling of righteousness with a sprinkle of vengeance/sadism. Possitives: Logical/tactical thinking, encounter planning, decent decision making even in morally tough situations. Negatives: ‘’By the book’’ attitude - We should be clear with the rules before the game/gaming session and not change/homebrew them on the spot, in the middle of a fight or RP. Questioning DM / Game rules (abbilities, spells ect.) is a crucial process of learning and experiencing the game (IMHO), therefore there could be some discussions here and there. Few notes: There is no problem supporting GM financially. Have a few friends, with experience in DnD (1-2 additional players) if needed. I have been playing and DMing since 2nd edition, and most of my best friendships have been made around this game. I love that the game is in a renaissance now, and that it has become popular with queer folk like myself. I don't think that I would be living as my authentic self if not for a lifetime of exploring identity in a safe space of TTRPGs. I like to play flawed characters, and I have a history of them being a little bit goofy (I want to make everyone at the table laugh!), but I don't play meme characters. Leaving parts of my character blank to evolve throughout the story and having them grow in relation to the other characters is my aim. I love to play out vulnerable, emotional scenes, and play off dramatic irony. I'm in Australia but I can make American evenings work most days (except Saturday). Hey hey! I've been playing dnd for about 4 years with the same group. We did frost maiden and the frost king. I've only ever played a sorcerer and I love to explore things, find cool magic items, and play with a little bit of risk. I've never played with a group that had character development so I'd be open to exploring it. I'm used to constantly rolling for initiative and getting creative. I'm pretty easy to get along with and fun to play with. Here are some examples of the things I've done in our previous campaigns: I got a shield guardian and then he got cursed so then we adventured to get him uncursed. We accidentally burned half a village down and then decided to build a blueberry store and diner so everything we got things throughout the mission, we would send them back to diner. Then venture back to the diner to check in like on the magic chests we found, spiders that cleaned, etc. And the whole dinor was run by the yetis we befriended and sort of bribed to not kill us 😅.

Hey there. I (He/They, 18+) am a relatively new and inexperienced player in terms of ttrpgs themselves, but i have experience with roleplaying with others through other games/irl events. I prefer a good balance of combat and roleplay; so I'm not really into dungeon-crawls (all combat, no roleplay), but also not interested in political intrigue either (all roleplay, no combat). I'm available most evenings; just can't do evenings on Wednesdays (I'm in US Central Time). I would prefer weekly games, and I will not join paid games. I consider myself an intermediate player, but only about half of my experience is actually playing.
