I'm Petra, 27. I've been playing d&d for roughly two years. I enjoy character driven stories as I've always been a big fan of reading and fantasy. I've only played high fantasy games as of now and I'd very much like to broaden my horizons and try out new systems and genres. (Horror, modern day fantasy/supernatural, action-adventure) The media's that shaped me as a person growing up were Jurassic Park, Pirates and the Caribbean, The Mummy, Totally Spies and the like. I would adore games that have the heart and concepts of these kind of movies and series.

Hello, there! I am a veteran player (38-years-old) who switched to D&D 5.5 ever since its release and has played sessions weekly (even multiple times a week). My window of availability is between 6 AM and 11:30 AM, and between 2 PM and 10:30 PM, CET times. I like exploration and all kinds of discoveries. I enjoy RP the most when it furthers the characters, the campaign's story or both. I like combat especially when it mixes in interesting mechanics and objectives, and when I can be creative in my descriptions and my actions. I love overcoming challenges, whatever form they take, through teamwork and preparation. I like believable character actions, because I value immersion a lot, which is why I generally prefer a serious tone over a silly one. Jokes are more than fine, but I much prefer it when they don't undercut tense and emotional moments. As a player, I'm committed, invested in the story and a note-taker, I gravitate the most towards themes related to morality, knowledge/lore and creativity/art, I take my time to gather information and strategize, and I'm good-aligned pretty much always. I never come into a campaign with a clear idea on what character to play, as I very much enjoy trying to weave species, class, concept and backstory with the campaign's world, letting the latter inspire character creation itself. So I tend to ask some questions after I join a new game, to get a better idea and then decide, with an eye on party composition as well. As a person, I'm a big believer in fairness, I'm as anti-toxicity as it gets, and I'm respectful, inclusive, punctual and communicative.

I cut my teeth on AD&D 2e, from back in middle school all the way through college. Played lots of SWRPG and various text-based MMORPG MUSHes, too. For almost 20 years, off and on. Then life got in the way, my group found itself spread a bit thin, and I haven't RPed since I dabbled in 3.5e over a decade ago. Then the last year or so, an old party member decided to GM a couple of games (one in 5.5e, one in LOTR 5e) and invited me to join. I'm way into both...but he's spread too thin and we barely play. Chomping at the bit over here. Looking for another game to fill in the spaces between amazing but sporadic campaigns. Once every two weeks, max. Prefer late nights EST (after 8PM is best, weekends best but any night potentially possible).

I'm Nick, I'm a 32yo male/AMAB non-binary person, with a few years of experience playing D&D 3.5, D&D 5.0, and CoC 7th. I'm a little burnt out on those (mostly D&D/high fantasy) so I'd prefer to play a different system, but I'm not against those systems if the campaign is appealing enough. I'm open-minded, intelligent, and a quick learner so picking up new systems is pretty easy for me. The systems that appeal to me the most right now are Mutants & Masterminds, Cyberpunk, Mothership, Kult, Unknown Armies, any World/Chronicles of Darkness system, or any obscure or homebrew horror system (any setting with heavy horror). My ideal group would consist of people around my age but I'll play with anyone 18+. I'm friendly and get along with pretty much everyone, and have thick skin so I don't mind banter, darker themes, or adult content. LGBTQIA+ friendly (obviously lol), female friendly, POC friendly. I'm also not going to get too antsy if we get a little derailed from play sometimes, especially with goofier groups, but I love serious play just as much. Currently looking to play weekly on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday, during evenings/nights. Saturdays are undesirable at the moment but if I really love the campaign idea I can make the time for it. I can't play Tuesday afternoons and both Wednesday and Sunday are off limits at the moment. Long term campaigns are ideal. I'm a pretty dedicated player, I rarely miss sessions. Any VTT is fine (I love Foundry), theater of the mind is also fine. I'm not a big fan of Roll20 but I'll use it if I have to lol. I have and use Discord regularly. I also would pefer not to be on cam, but I do have a webcam. However I do not want to be recorded and posted on the public internet so skip me if you're running on a stream, youtube recording, podcast, etc. Recordings for private note-taking purposes are okay but do not post them online publicly. I love creating characters (especially flawed characters) so I usually have several character ideas for multiple systems either ready-to-play or brewing, even for systems I've ever played (such as M&M 3e, Unknown Armies, Kult, etc). I'm flexible enough to stick with RAW or go full homebrew, I will always work with the DM to ensure that my character is suitable for their campaign, especially if we dive into heavy homebrew. I generally prefer not to min/max but I'm not against it, I just find flawed characters (mechanical and flavor) to be far more interesting and fun to play. I don't meta game, backseat game, rules lawyer, and I don't have main character syndrome (if anything I'm a little shy of the limelight). I can also handle bad outcomes and character death, I believe that's just part of the storytelling aspect of TTRPGs. I love roleplay, combat, exploration, puzzle solving, pretty much every aspect of TTRPGs so I'm generally comfortable with any ratio. I also sometimes to photo-manipulation/digital collage art, drawn art (digital and traditional), etc for my character, other characters, campaigns, but I'm not very good at it (yet). Usually this is for comedic effect or out of necessity. I also do art and writing outside of TTRPG play. Not interested in play-by-post or paid games, sorry.

Hello I'd be interested in joining a group if possible. I am available Mon-sun starting at 7:30 pm est except wed. I rarely miss sessions and if I think there's even a possibility, I would give a heads up. I don't mind if it's already ongoing as long as it's not to far in. I enjoy character bonding as a group and as individuals and my favorite thing about DND is creating backstories. I have a few lined up that I typically discuss with the DM to see which would be the best fit. One backstory for a example is a human rogue who's a member of a f very powerful crime family. Though he's in hiding since he's constantly getting in there way of business to ruin it. I also try to get everyone involved if I notice someone having trouble getting involved. I do prefer to focus more on the game than talking outside of game.

Hi, I'm looking for a long term campaign, primarily text based, but open to voice as well. Homebrew, module, or anything in between doesn't matter to me. I'm in it to tell a good story, and all of those will serve well as the medium. Name: Kevin Pronouns: He/Him Timezone: Pacific Standard time, west coast USA Preferred system: (play by post) 5e is what I’m familiar with and the only TTRPG I’ve ever played. I have a budding curiosity for shadowrun and recently found out about 5e dark matter, but they’re just curiosities. I have never been able to get into westmarches so not those unfortunately. Additional information: I’d have zero issues sticking to a 1-2 post a day requirement. The only Pbp campaign I’ve ever run to “completion” (we all died lvl 7) was with my IRL friends when we got out of the military. People moved around priorities shifted and we never got back to it. I’m just longing for the journey of seeing a level 1 character grow and be apart of a world again. I’ve enjoyed most PBP games I’ve been apart of but they all inevitably die out and I have a graveyard of characters on dnd beyond that never made it anywhere unfortunately. I’ve played arcane trickster, clerics with canon/homebrew deities, and would love to have the opportunity to play a wild magic sorcerer. One of my dream homebrews is an arcane trickster with a wild magic table. I almost exclusively play short kings, halflings, gnomes, and dwarfs and my characters/RP definitely lean heavily into goofy/silliness but can read the room and be serious when needed. I’m not going to crack a joke or draw attention when another player is in the middle of a serious and emotional scene, or when the DM is trying to set the mood. Somethings I’m adverse to are SA and PVP. I’m always willing to alter or tailor my backstory for the sake of the story and always try to make backstories with a lot of very basic loose ends for the DM to tie up and incorporate if they want. I hope this is enough information. I really just want a long term game with a lvl 1 character to grow with. I’m starting university soon and would love to look back on this character that I started my first year and where they and myself are now years later. Thank you if you’ve read this far. I've played in a fair few D&D 5E games in the past; though it's been a while. I think I'd like to play something with a focus on roleplaying. Hiya! I'm still relatively new to DND but I have played in a campaign before and enjoyed it immensely. I really love campaigns that focus on roleplaying, character bonding/building and heavily story driven. I'm not interested in play-by-post type of games, I'm sorry! I'm an early riser in the morning (5am-ish) and head to sleep early as well so I understand that I may not be able to find a group within my own timezone and that's okay! The only days in which I can't play are Wednesdays and Sundays because of work, occasionally on Saturdays if I'm requested.

Not sure how to do this uhhh, I'm Sam, 34M, Australian living in New York and I'm looking for a weekly/biweekly group to join for long-term campaigns (Tues 2pm or Sat/Sun 10am-2pm EST/GMT-5). I have a little experience with DnD, but never managed to play far through a campaign. I would like to play homebrews but I'd also be very happy to play any of the official modules. For now I think I'd prefer an online game, I may be able to do in-person in Westchester, NY but it may be a little too difficult at this point in time. Most of my experience comes from listening to actual-plays (NADDPod, Cast Party, Dungeons & Daddies, TAZ, Dimension20 and Critical Role), but I've made so many characters of my own and I just want to give them the lives they deserve. Hey hey! I'm Po and I've been playing DND for about 6 years and I love seeing interesting mechanics.

I'm incredibly new to DND -- I've joined one campaign about halfway through it and have been wanting to join a campaign from the beginning! I have 600 hours into baldurs gate but as of writing this (10/10) i only have 2 actual sessions of DND completed and one was a one shot just to get more expierence. in Bg3 I love sorcerors and that so far has seemed to translate to dnd so I would like to play a caster of somesort -- truthfully it will probably be a draconic sorc. I'm working on getting better at creating backstory for characters but I likely will need some prompting. And please be patient with me as I am new so I likely will not pick the best option but Ill have fun! I like sorcs because I like to make jokes irl and having a high charisma gives me a reason to continue to have my character make jokes or stupid one liners. I also come with a cute cat I will post photos of!

I am interested in playing with a group that challenges my role playing skills. Mystery and puzzles always the better. I am good with straight rules, or home rules, or even custom therian races or whatever, as long as they are consistent make sense for the game. Crazy fox guy who can't stay still, sure, as long as that plays out through the story. Depending on the game, I could play power hungry, but not in abuse of game rules, in the literal sense. A wizard looking for immortality, a sorcerer looking to become an actual dragon, a fighter looking to master the blade. I am very open however to playing a character to help a DM push a plotline. For example, a Warforged left without a memory, to be filled in later. A Warlock who just wants to find out what happened to his brother, who got wrapped up in some story the DM decides.
