Hi there! I'm Frau Elster, 33, located in Hanover, Germany. I have been playing TTRPGs for roughly a year now. It became quite an hyperfixation and thanks to a local open club I've gotten the chance to test some systems and get an idea of what I enjoy in this game. Ideally, of course, the group vibes and gets along. That's a wish of mine but of course can't be forced. I tend to enjoy smaller groups up to 4, sometimes 5, on a bi-weekly schedule in the evening. I love creating complex characters with a few defining moments already having happened to them to help flesh them out. It didn't happen yet but I'd love to experience what it's like to have a ongoing campaign that weaves in the characters' backgrounds. Usually I have a concept in mind before I create a character and then read through _a lot_ of materials and sources to find the build and world-related backgrounds that fit. For example: I am in the midst of creating a tabaxi stardruid whose base idea was that she looks like a black jaguar and has the constellations map right there in the spots of her fur. Or I knew I wanted a gnome raised by ice giants who draws her magic from the aurora and can hit really hard and now I have several tabs open haha I enjoy good atmospheric horror and am actually thinking about hosting The Magnus Archive TTRPG. But that's a project for the future. Coming from a theatre background I love roleplay and the chaotic rule of cool being applied more than dungeon crawling, rule crunching and min/max-ing. Social encounters and exploration are big to me. Do you know that one friend who needs to check every question mark in a video game? Yeah that's me (and is also a reason why I love Breath of the Wild. Exploring was very much rewarded in this game.) As a GM I love putting in puzzles but that is always a hit or miss with me as a player. In general I would say I am a bit of a chaotic player who enjoys discussing and brainstorming with the others.

Hey guys, I'm Korben. I go by a lot of names, so call me whatever you want, I really do not care. I've played D&D constantly for about 7 (almost 8) years, and I've made it the only thing I really do outside of school and work and such. I really enjoy D&D, not particularly because of the combat or roleplay, but more so because of the pure creativity and lore in campaigns. It sparks my mind in ways I can't usually which is one of the reasons for me enjoying it so much. I do still enjoy combat and roleplay a lot though, but I might struggle to get into my characters voice sometimes. In terms of what I like to play, I dabble in a little bit of everything. I've played all the way from homebrew campaigns, to roleplay campaigns, to official campaigns, all the way to oneshots. I've played every genre immaginable ranging from high-fantasy, low-fantasy, sci-fi, historical, modern, horror, and puzzle.

Hey there, I'm new to TTRGP's and have just started a campaign but am enjoying it so much that I'm looking for a second one. I got into D&D through Baldurs Gate 3 and then started listening to D&D podcasts so that's all the experience and knowledge I have and I have no previous experience with Pathfinder (but open to learn/try). I am also absolutely inexperienced in acting/roleplaying but I'll try to do my best. In terms of gameplay I'm open to try any class/build and I'd create/adjust my character to the stories setting. When it comes to availability. Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays form 5-6pm until at most 11pm. Saturdays are very flexible and open ended but preferably evenings Sundays is similar to weekdays. Generally flexible but at most until 11pm. My timezone is CET/CEST/UTC+2. Online only. If age matter, I am 26 years old. If there are any questions I am open to anwsering them. Hello, I'm Sapphire. I'm a Brazilian illustrator, and TTRPGs are my favorite hobby. I've been looking for chances to play more recently, specially Daggerheart, my favorite system. As a player I love roleplay, while I enjoy combat and exploration a lot too, I believe the best moments of any campaign usually happen during those moments where the players are just roleplaying to the best of their abilities at each other or towards whichever important NPC they're talking to. I enjoy playing spellcasters, and my characters tend to be either: people with a lot to prove with a mission to accomplish (even if some times they don't even know that themselves), or weird characters whose origins seem to have been leading them towards a happy life, but something caused a huge shift, messing with their life and causing them to have to deal with something else, complex and unatural, which they have to learn to deal with or cure. About myself, besides TTRPGs I love animated shows and movies, books, music, and video games. I enjoy watching video game streamers, and some of my favorite games are: the Dragon Age franchise, Baldur's Gate 3, and Pokemon. I also really like reading about mythology, specially Greek and Roman.

Yo wassup MFs, I am Ymmi (I will tell you my actual name eventually just not gonna give that out here publicly.) I was directed to this site to find a game, and I don't expect much out of it, but if I sound like a vibe then I would happily take any invitiation. I am a creative individual who prefers the roleplay aspect of TTRPGs more than the combat, I don't mind combat but when one round takes upwards of 30 minutes because people don't prepare their turns in advance I hate it. I am not the most interesting individual and I am not great at the things I do, but what I do do (haha doodoo) is try as hard as my mind and body will let me (I am a lazy procrastinator with little drive and motivation, but if i do have motivation i go hard) For TTRPGs, I dont mind which is played, D&D5e or PF2e are just the ones I have played, but I am fully able to learn a new one. I have been both a player and DM, but the groups always die out or have drama, I just wanna play the game man..... Other than TTRPGs, I like videogames, watching youtube, I love animals (I did animal care in college) I dont get out much because there is nothing to do where I live and I dont have any close IRL friends, but I would like to start becoming more active. I've been playing D&D 5e since 2016. I started as a player for 2 weeks, and then became a DM on a whim, forever DM until today. Pathfinder 2E, and Tormenta 20. Both systems are hard to grasp even after sessions of experience, so I prefer not to go with those. Daggerheart is another I got into recently, I'm down to DM for it as well. It looks fun.

Hi there! I'm a mature player looking for a game with people who love the comraderie of roleplay. I enjoy a game that is heavy RP balanced with combat, problem solving, political intrigue, travel, survival or whatever aspects the GM wants to put our merry band up against. I'm in your world now. Play Style: I'm serious about having fun. I'm low maintenance and I fit well into most groups that aren't all about fart jokes.. I'm a stickler about showing up on time to every session. I put a good effort into making my characters fun for the other players as well as the GM. I'm not much of a min/maxer. I don't know the powerful builds as I tend to add to my characters in a manner consistent with their back story. I write modest back stories and try to include multiple hooks that the GM might choose to use somewhere along the road. I prefer to see a good story or interesting outcome rather than fuss over rules. I tend to get in character and stay in character for an entire session. I'm not adverse to long sessions, provided we have appropriate intermissions. Experience: I haven't played for two or three years, so I'll need a bit of help getting back up to speed. I know nothing about 5e 2024 rule changes. I'm generally a quick study and willing to learn anything new. I'd prefer a DnD 5e 2014 game, but would be willing to learn 2024 and I do have some experience with PF2e. I'd also be interested in playing Starfinder 2e as a completely new player. I have GMed homebrews in 5e on several occasions, but my first choice is to participate as a member of the party. I prefer Foundry VTT, but I have participated in past games using Roll20 and DndBeyond. I have fairly in depth knowlege of the inner workings of FVTTv12/13. Prefered Times: I'm in Ontario Canada (UTC-4) and would prefer games that were afternoons or evenings local time. North American games or evening UK/EU games can fit my schedule nicely. Greetings everyone! I'm a somewhat experienced player looking to join a new game, as I'm getting that itch to play in more games than I currently have! Below is some relevant information about me. Availability: I currently DM a game on Fridays and I'm a player in a campaign on Saturdays nights (starting at 23 UTC, so I can still play on Saturdays so long as the session ends before then), and due to a flexible work schedule, I can make almost any other (reasonable) day/time work for at least the next year. I would prefer a weekly game, but every other week also works. System preference: I don't really mind too much what's being used. I have experience with PF2e and D&D 2014, and a bit with SWADE - I'm currently DMing a campaign using it, 8 sessions in. If we're playing D&D, I'd like to take a look at the 2024 version, as I like most of the changes. About me: I'm a 24 year old guy who's been playing fairly consistently for 5-6 years now. I'm from Brazil so I do have a noticeable accent, but I'm fluent, I promise! Both of the campaigns I'm currently in are fully in English. I despise AI-generated content. I'm sorry, but it's just downright bad and often distracting enough to take me out of the game. If you use AI images often, I'd rather not be in the game. Also I'm gay, if that matters to anyone. What kind of game I'd like: I'm fond of roleplay and PC characterization. Having interactions while maintaining character, be they short remarks or deep conversations, is what I play TTRPGs for! That all being said, I still love combat and exploration with the odd puzzle here and there, and would love a healthy mix of these elements. Sandbox-style campaigns where we are free to explore the character's backgrounds and personal goals while having an overarching objective or even just intriguing side quests would be my favorite type of game. I prefer medieval/steampunk fantasy games most of the time, but I'm not at all opposed to a high-tech/sci-fi campaign! It could be fun. What kinds of characters I usually make: Personality-wise, it varies on the campaign's premise, the game's tone, and my mood at the time. I'm totally down to make anything from an irredeemable villain to a young naive hero. Combat-wise, it depends on the system, but I have a weakspot for "gishes" who blend martial and caster elements. I am guilty of making many "monstrous" characters (my username here is ironic) be they warforged, gargoyles, undead, or just beastmen of any kind. I won't pick something that would be inconvenient/impossible/unfun in your particular setting, though! I want my character to still fit in the world. But if it is a lower fantasy game where player options are more restricted, I'd probably prefer not to join. Not that a character needs an exotic race to be interesting, but I just find the design and appeal of less standard options far more fun to build around, personally! Game Style I am looking for DMs that have my sense in play-style which is heavily homebrewed I mean l am a dm myself dont let that scare you away trust l am a very easy player to deal with but Ive just been used to creating my own classes and spells that I sometimes forget normal dnd isn't like that I mean I created a whole Elden Ring campaign from scratch so l am expecting someone on my same wavelength but if you are the type of person's that's world's biggest homebrew is the goblins deal 5 more damage then that's fine with me Im easy and flexible dont worry and a yapper. (What you actually need to read) | love grim dark horror fantasy, anime based fantasy, fantasy in general and medieval fantasy, l am down for hardcore horror or high fantasy Preferred Way to Play Uhm I usually run theatre of the mind but if you got like cool maps and stuff Im down, uhm I usually use discord for vc and dice rolls I hate dndbeyond and roll20 so if that's like a red flag for you then run but uhm for my character sheet I usually use Dicecloud and for info 5e tools but like I said if you have other preferences likes talk about This is kinda a repost of my discord message for GMs sorry for the wall of text this is my first time 😅

Hello. I have been playing D&D 5e for 2 years, looking for a weekly game whether in 5e or 5.5e. Preferably evenings in the weekends, as I am available after 6 PM EST. Definitely can commit to a consistent weekly game night provided that if 1) IRL does not throw a wrench my way or 2) game is canceled. I enjoy a game where it is combat focused, in no way I am against roleplaying, could mix it up between the two. I am okay with character death, and games whether its homebrew, or official or games converted from different modules. My favorite class to play is the fighter and my go to favorite is the cavalier, a classic knight on horse subclass that defends his party and lives by his own code.

Hey! I'm Juxu (M19) looking for a group to play DND with for the first time. I have, however, read the Player’s Handbook and watched DND campaigns, so I know most of the basics as well as some more advanced rules, and I am familiar with the different classes, subclasses, etc. I’m mostly available on weekends or during GMT-3 weekday afternoons. It would be very unlikely for me to not show up at the session! I enjoy the roleplay aspects of DND, the big character moments, exploration and lore, the political intrigue and how the player actions influence the world. I particularly like when details of a character's background are used in the campaign and are a big focus of the story--if, of course, everyone at the table is getting included and also has their big moments. I do note I have nothing against combat. Exploring creepy ruins and fighting big bads across a detailed world would also be very enjoyable. A character idea I had, for example, was that of a Lorwyn Changeling - Ranger (Swarmkeeper); Druid (Circle of Spores) - that has a colony of sentient spores that wants to spread their hive-mind, just to give an example of what I might conjure up! Though I would always make sure the GM is fine with the character concept and backstory, and I have no problem adjusting. Thanks for reading.
