*Please read the entire description before applying to play this game!* Ever wondered how an every day person might survive the beginning of the end? What leads to the world's fall? Who's involved? Why? Well 3-5 players need wonder no more as this game focuses on exactly that! And we're seeking up to 2 more! The gradual decline of society. The intrigue about what's causing it and how different factions begin to form. How natural and man-made disasters happen and how everyday people handle it all. Not to mention the secrets and conspiracies that might get discovered along the way. All of this and more awaits those daring enough to join! *But beware!* You're just an average person who's had your life interrupted by everything going on around you. And in order to survive, or perhaps even try to salvage or save what little you can, it seems that you need to gather up a few friends and work together. But who knows? Maybe you'll somehow manage to save the world! ------- So what will you all do? Will you seek out a cure for the new infection going around that's changing people's brains and bodies? Will you help with the rescue efforts after a natural disaster? Will you join one of the factions and take on quests for them? Maybe you'll stay on the run, trying to keep ahead of everything happening all around you? Or perhaps you're more inclined to hunker down in one location for as long as possible? The choices are ultimately yours (and your group's) to make! Just be careful though, as just one wrong move can have deadly consequences! How long can you survive? *Character deaths can and will occur when you're first starting out! Don't get too attached to your first few characters!* ------- This game is set in a world similar to, but not quite, ours. The content will happen on the continent of New USA starting in late autumn of the modern day. The system and story has no magic or aliens, but mutants, militia, cults, bombs, natural disasters, severe disabilities, EMPs, inebriation, broken bones, death, and most anything that can or has happened in real life can and may well happen in game at some point. RP will hopefully be a major focus of this game as well. Killing your fellow humans will have consequences on both your character and the world around you, so it's not recommended. You're not a playing as a hardened veteran, psychopath, or a serial killer after all, so why would your character be okay with murder? Mention a fruit to prove you've read this very important information. Animals, Mutants, and anything that doesn't resemble a human (anymore) should be fair game though. ------- This game is one entirely of my own creation, complete with custom character sheets and a system that I designed from scratch and have quality tested over the last few years. This game has been going for over 2 years now, though the group you might be joining is only a few weeks old. If you join this game, please be aware that, as with all homebrew games and systems, you might experience some bugs or changes from time to time, especially if the base platform Roll20 has a major update. This game is only for those aged 21 and older as it includes (but doesn't focus on) graphic content, including themes of death, gore, alcohol, drugs, suicide, mental health, and similar. This is a realistic, gritty game focusing on playing as an everyday person as the world slowly falls apart, so if any of these themes are issues for you, or if you're not at least 21 years old, then this game is likely not for you. This game has a focus on realism with regards to prices, story, roleplay, and what's possible to make or buy. However nearly everything else, such as the inventory, healing, and combat systems, are only loosely realistic. Also, you should be able to craft or upgrade nearly everything in this game so long as it makes sense, you spend the time, have the materials, and it follows some form of realistic logic. ------- Some unique key features of this game's system includes... - Play as one of 26 different professions, each with their own special talent and specialized skill-set that can greatly impact how you play. - Your character's age, sex, height, weight, and hobbies all play a factor on your starting core stats. Even choosing to play non-binary has an impact by having no impact! - Inventory is slot/space-based instead of weight based. - Skills improve the more you use them, but can also decay to a point if you don't. - Uses the Metric system for map measurements (squares are usually 1 meter). - Multiple unique status effects that can impact your stats for better or worse. - Find and drive over 20 different vehicles with stats from cars and bikes to planes and drones to boats and jet skis and more! *Plans exist to expand to over 50 vehicles at some point*. - Dismantle your old gear or harvest materials and use what you get to craft or upgrade new and existing gear! - Upgrade your core stats through achievements, both party and personal, gaining a stat point with each achievement. *ie first time fully equipped (personal), first encounter with a new enemy type (personal), first visit to a new location (party), develop a cure for the pandemic! (party), etc* - Mention a vegetable in your application as proof you've read this entire list. - A Focus on Tactical and Stealth gameplay, rather than outright combat. This is done by making all combat encounters brutal, where any unarmored humanoid can be downed with a single critical hit or two solid hits. And if they take a point-blank shotgun or grenade blast, they're almost guaranteed to outright die. ------- If you want a good idea of what your characters will be going through, consider the following films and shows as they are probably the closest to what this game is all about. Revolution, The Silence, The Happening, 2012, Twister, Dante's Peak, or any other natural disaster or World-Actively-Ending film/show that's somewhat realistic or feasible today. Of course, these aren't perfect examples as the game is meant to be paced out over a few years instead of over a few hours, but it should still give a good idea of what to expect. ------- The game is expected to be roughly *50% RP, 25% Combat, and 25% Other* across all sessions once you're comfortable with the system. *Weekly, 4 hour sessions on Wednesdays from 2-6pm EST.* *Voice chat will be in Discord.* *Game will take place in Roll20.* The campaign is planned to last 100 in-game days, with roughly 1-2 in-game days passing every 3-5 sessions, so about 5-10 irl years. The group is currently on Day 20 and has been running since November 2023. The campaign may extend beyond this timeframe depending on the group's actions and interests as well as a hidden, yet revealed feature of the game itself. Finally, I've put well over 2,500 hours over multiple years into creating this game, so if you wish to contribute financially or in some other way, you are more than welcome to, though it is not required. Welcome to Rotikgos, where magic is scarce, but with the help of the heroes, magic is slowly coming into this world. The land is still rural, with towns and villages just being established, and the whole of Rotikgos has only one major city. Even so, everyone's lives are at risk, as this nation is just beginning to take root. As creatures never seen before, rampage Rotikgos and take down villages. People go missing and mysteriously show up, not remembering what happened. A select few have even been transformed. The people of this land don't believe in the gods and goddesses. Yet Mota, the Goddess of Fate, used her divine powers to give a handful of regular people magical powers and magical items. The first true magical people in this land. Who is attacking this land? Why are these otherworldly creatures here? Why has a Goddess of people who don't believe in the gods helping? Why did a new moon show up out of nowhere two years ago? Only time can tell in the world of Rotikgos. This is a campaign I have been running for 6 months now. We just lost a player and were looking for 1 more to round out the party again, if someone fits well. For players, we have a Wizard, a Barbarian, a Rogue, and a Homebrew called a Soul Binder. We will be playing on Roll20 and talking on Discord. It will be a 2014 ruleset. Characters will start with Advanced Standard Array (17, 15, 13, 12, 10, 8), and everyone can choose between taking a feat or ASI when making a character, and at level 4, you get both a feat and an ASI. You will also start with a free common magic item. We are at Lv 5 and go to around 12-14. You can be any official Race. More magical races (non-human) don't naturally come from this world. If you want to play a race like that, we can talk about it more. Homebrew is allowed, just check with me first. This is a biweekly game on Tuesdays 5:30 PST. Also, one main system in this game revolves around the deck of many things. If you do good things in the eyes of the goddess, you get Karma, and you can spend it to pull good cards, but if you pull a card with no Karma, well… good luck. You can also ask the deck a question, and it will show a card with an answer to your question 25% of the time.

Greetings to those who have graced our poor, humble post with your attention! Now that you’re here, why don’t you stay awhile and listen? Our group has come to the LFG on bended knee, in need of a Dungeon Master who will take up the torch and banner to lead us to a brighter, richer tomorrow. To that end, I should say that this post is for those Dungeon Masters who would want to curate a more in-depth, narratively enriching and serious campaign to play alongside six other rather enthusiastic, evocative and imaginative role-players! Recently, we’ve taken to the streets of Waterdeep: Dragon Heist, however, as sometimes comes to pass, our DM had to take their leave. Now, we’d spent a bit of time trying to plan out our characters, and have even played a few sessions taking us near to the end of Chapter 1 of the module! It would be our hope that we might find another to join us as our Dungeon Master who has the same drive, creative energy and investment as we do! All six of us are rather enthusiastic roleplayers who not only enjoy the social interactions, but also the other varied pillars of D&D! We enjoy challenging combats, tricksy puzzles, just as much as we do the quiet moments between such times where our character can interact with each other and the world at large. I know it’s a lot to ask, frankly, to come into a campaign that has started, but our thought was since we’d only progressed just so far there would be more than enough space for someone to come in and make this module their own! Truthfully, the big goal we have is not only to complete this module, but at its completion move beyond it with either the character we have or some others depending on how the transition into a new phase of the campaign might come. We are most trepidatiously seeking the long-term here, and to that end would hope that this DM might become part of this group as not only a facilitator of the story, but as a fellow player and friend! In terms of broader subjects and concepts we enjoy, I would like to take a moment to list a few: Intrigue, in the guise of political, societal, religious, and/or moral tension, et cetera. Fantasy-style discrimination when and where appropriate. (No real world nonsense, however). Exploration of the moral spectrum in regards to individual characters, settings, and groups. Delving into worldly and distinctly otherworldly matters. Creating relationships with factions within the setting and most deliciously navigating the sometimes conflicting loyalties of the character we travel with! Taking a keen interest in the backstories of our companions, and showcasing the diversity of their relationships as a result. Being a part of building the narrative through the actions of our character in response to the world around them, and thus contributing to the setting and its voice. Now for the more salient details, and while I should note there could be some flexibility here or there, due to having members on two continents we’d much prefer to keep the time we have been able to put aside. This campaign starts with everyone dead. Your souls were collected before the afterlife and reincarnation cycle by a god. This god is also collecting souls from otherworlds because the threat facing this world has been too much for the heroes sent and now hes willing to call upon otherworlder help. The gods offer is such: solve the problem this world faces, and ill return you to your world and old life mere seconds after your death. You'll keep your skills, knowledge, magic and equipment earned in this life. If you are from this world already, i cannot rewind time to send you back, for that could affect the good you've done here. But the rest of my offer still applies to you as well. **Campaign Setting** The world of Azeroth has many regions and continents. The largest region is named Drogunheim. Drogunheim was the site of the first and second god war. After the first war the land was named after the hero who ended the war and he claimed the scarred land and became its first king. However in the recent years the current king has been slain and replaced by Demetri Vundergard who claimed to bring about real change, starting with the name of the capitol and the region. Since he has taken power, people have been going mad, disappearing, or publicly executed for treason, despite a lack of evidence, or trial. Crops are going bad, prices are the highest they've ever been due to taxes and low supplies. Even the animals of the land are acting strangely. The king proclaimed having prior knowledge (a vision from god) of these growing issues, claiming the old king wasnt ready for these undertakings. If poorly managed these will lead to the death of all, and only he has the answers and the plan that will save everyone... Only if they work with him will they see the light of a brighter future. You will join into the campaign 10yrs after Demetri took power. During session 0 the god will go more indepth about about your mission. Ahoy there, potential plunderers, and welcome to the sun-baked, snake-infested chaos that is the Serpent's Skull Adventure Path! Forget your standard goblin-slaying or tavern-brawling campaigns. We're kicking things off with a bang—or rather, a shipwreck! That's right, your shiny new characters (who we all know will definitely survive) are about to get tossed overboard and spat onto the shores of a mysterious, uncharted island. Think of it as a tropical vacation... if your itinerary included: Massive, territorial dinosaurs (because who needs peaceful wildlife?). Angry indigenous peoples who don't appreciate clumsy castaways. The lingering, deadly remnants of an ancient, terrifying civilization. And, of course, a lot of snakes. Seriously, if you have ophidiophobia, this is going to be a fun, scream-filled few months. Your ultimate goal? Survival! And maybe, just maybe, figuring out what ancient, world-shaking secret lies hidden beneath the dense jungle canopy. Grab your machetes, check your tetanus shots, and try not to get eaten. The jungle awaits! Please write your introductions for character ideas in here. In this adventure path we will be using milestone leveling, background skills, starting at level 3 (with the appropriate average wealth per character), 2 traits (or 3 with one drawback), 25 point buy, and the Unchained rules. No one can leave. No one can enter. The outside world is silent except for a promise of a cure that never seems to come. Inside, things start changing — not just in people’s bodies, but in their behavior, values, and sense of reality. Clubs become factions. Dorms become territories. And the question becomes: Are you trying to survive, escape, fix it… or figure out what you’re becoming? You will be starting as human with the option to change races due to situations later on.

You haven’t seen the sun in over a month now… not since the event… one day every living thing in the city mutated all at the same time. A dome blocks the light, along with phone and radio signals. You are completely cut off. Left to fend for yourself in your new form. The metro tunnels are now a battleground. Toddler sized rats fight against hideously mutated cats that can only be described as goblinoid in appearance… but the metro might be safer than the streets. Monstrous animals prowl the streets in search of prey. It's not all bad, though. The survivors of the event have banded together and turned the abandoned mall into a fortress. Hello! I wanted to check interest on starting a DnD game. Please read the whole post to make sure this idea is up your alley. A little bit about me: 30M, long time DnD player who has dabbled in DMing 6 or so years ago. Had a lot of fun, but had to stop because of an injury. Im looking for players who live in the NY metro area. If you can get to NYC within about an hour and a little change, awesome! I prefer people closer to myself in age so 25-45 is ideal, but not a dealbreaker. I’m most interested in group cohesion and chemistry. Eventually, I want to do a game that is online most of the time for everyone’s ease, but maybe meet up once a month for in person sessions. Generally, I’d like to do online sessions around 6/7-10pm on Sundays, and in person sessions we can schedule times and places as needed. The first couple months will be online as we gain steam. Probably would look to start some time in January if there’s enough interest. For themes of the campaign, think a throwback to classic d&d: explorations, dungeons, and frequent combat, while also building a setting with rich evolving story and RP potential to get everyone involved. A couple things I’d like to mention: For simplicity sake, I want to keep things to the main players handbook, xanathars and mordenkainen (I am probably forgetting a book or two but you get the idea). Do not premake a character. We will go through that process when the time comes with stat rolls/buy ins. Do not be a jerk. Hello! My groups looking for a GM to run a online campaign with us. We've been working or situating our schedules in order to keep to a steady campaign. We dont have anything specific we'd ask for campaign wise and are open to both book campaigns and homebrewed. As a group we are fairly accepting, granted we make our jokes so if you are super easily offended you've been warned. We do our best to be considerate to those around us but things may slip we are human. We are a tight knit group, no relationships just friends more than happy to fuck each other over if it means we get the magic item instead. We thrive in a role play environment of course enjoying our fair share of fights and will probably have a mix of morals being good evil and maybe a bit in between. Dont have to worry about meta gaming, we tend to have pretty lax characters that just seem cool to us or have a theme were building off of. Roll 20 or other websites or apps can be used we have 3 of us with computers one on mobile but as long as it can be used on mobile we should be good. Hello hello my name is JJ, I'm 21, pronouns are they/them, and this is my first time posting on Reddit so sorry in advance if the formatting is wonky or if I did anything incorrectly. Sessions will be weekly at 5:30 pm MST Fridays. I would also be open to starting at 6pm if that would work better. I'm looking for 4-6 players of fellow lgbtq+ folk ages 18 - 28. Any experience is welcome! After a long-term campaign coming to an end and a bit of DM burnout, I'm looking to do another campaign to remind myself what it's all about. I have been a dm since July 2021 and have had a campaign going for almost the entirety of those 4 and half years (hence the burnout). The length of this campaign will be determined by player interest. And basically I want a campaign where the plot is mostly serious but the process and some quest bits are fun. This campaign will have a roleplay and exploration focus (of course a decent bit of combat this is dnd after all). We will use discord for voice and roll20 for maps. So please make sure you are able to use both of those (at the same time preferably). Campaign description: Long ago, so long that most of history has forgotten it, *something* happened that caused the world to restart. The world rebuilt as if nothing happened, no tales, no stories remain just the knowledge that at some time, at some point, something occurred. This would be something that would never cross the mind of the average person. Only the most devout of researchers think of this 'something' but even then they have almost nothing on this something. But then, during the beginning of the new year where suddenly, as if something was found or maybe something broke free, across the world prophets popped up all saying the same thing: "What was once forgotten shall return, O dear heroes hear my plea-" And after the word plea fell from their lips all prophets immediately passed out on the spot. When asked about it afterwards, they all could not remember the prophecy or fainting. Just a vague feeling of something entering their minds for a brief moment. And in response to this new prophecy nations have started to steadily build armies, churches are suddenly recruiting more, and where you all come in, more people than ever have turned to adventuring. With the prophecy came dungeons. Popping up from nothing and holding glimpses to the past. Of course anyone with any interest in history is willing to pay a pretty piece for these hints to whatever that 'something' was. Maybe you're a newfound prophet, maybe you are someone who was researching the past, maybe this was the final push to become an adventurer, maybe you're someone trying to take advantage of the chaos, maybe this has been your plan for a while and the prophecy is just a coincidence. But regardless of all that, join this world to find out secrets from the past and what they mean for the future of the realm. While the tensions between the U.G.N. and The Golden Horde heighten, a party of adventurers are sent out to North Silica along the Black Silver River to uncover an ancient artifact that could change the tide of the coming war entirely. Critical Mass: Chain Reaction is a Weird Fiction / Fantasy Adventure campaign set in the homebrew setting of ATYMOS, using the D&D5.5e rules, along with custom homebrew backgrounds, species, and subclasses. The tone of this campaign is light-horror post-apocalyptic fantasy, weird fiction with a lot of geopoliticial set pieces. It will mostly follow average, everyday adventurers from the world trying to navigate it while dealing with people from various factions and nations. LGBTQIA+ characters are expected and normalized in this setting. Be prepared for strange encounters, dealing with cruel monsters, and encountering deadly NPCs and monsters. Not everything in this setting is meant to be fought, especially not by you. REQUIREMENTS * Ability to play weekly on Wednesday, 5:30PM PST. * Access to a Discord account, and a browser. We will be using FoundryVTT as a virtual tabletop, and Discord to be able to call. * A baseline familiarity with the D&D 2024 Rules EXPECTATIONS * An interest in collaborative storytelling and roleplay * A willingness to work together with the other players and the DM * This is a 70/30 Roleplay campaign, we’ll be doing a lot of roleplaying and combat will be sparse but deadly. I am running a FFd20 (Based on Pathfinder with a few homebrew rules to make it more 3.5 like) Campaign. The campaign setting is essentially a fusion world of the worlds of FF 10, 9, 7, 6 and FF Tactics Advanced (uses the canon map as opposed to a custom layout). The game takes place in a tweaked version of the game worlds where an outsider being has overtuned the power of and over informed the villains of the MCs actions/locations. This results in the majority of the cast of those games dying. 20 years later, the survivors of those games have unified into a resistance group known as The Farthest Sun (Led by FFX characters as Spira's sun is the furthest from the planet). As a newly trained member of this group you are heading to your graduation when your fellow players meet up in the previously discussed location and something strange occurs. I'm allowing NEARLY any class from the FFD20 website, but some may be race locked or unavailable if they do not fit the setting of the 5 games that this campaign is based around.. I do have an option to allow races/classes from FF14 if one of those interest you... I am seeking 2 player, but I would be open to 3 should heavy interest be shown. With the town guard busy protecting the loggers, she needs a few brave souls to venture down into the basement of her warehouse and put an end to the beast that's feasting on her fish! I’m running a political intrigue/exploration type campaign. This would be a world centered around High Medieval century Germany’s aesthetic and style. It’s High Fantasy with some cool magic technology to match, there’s been plenty of strife between magic users and non magic users, so in the modern day it’s been regulated to anyone practicing magic must hold a Royal Pass. At first only the Royal Mages, an elite force in the Royal Guards, carried the pass but soon the newly established Mage Guilds were permitted to test and regulate the passes. Another new development in the southern empire of Achilleia was the excavation of a tunnel into the ancient Sun Elven Dominion, allowing quests into the cursed lands to search for artifacts. Your character will be joining a Guild’s search, your character doesn’t have to be a part of the guild only that they wish to join the quest for their reasons.

We are currently a party of four people (1 DM and 3 players) that are looking for a fourth player. The campaign has been ongoing for 11 sessions and a player had to leave due to unforeseen factors. In the wake of the chaos left by the plague, raids are becoming more frequent in the north and west of the Confederation. The party started their journey in a smaller town in the Confederation - one largely untouched by the chaos, but trouble is brewing, and the surrounding city-states are still in chaos. You can expect to travel the Confederation and delve deeper into the mysteries of the plague and the chaos left in its wake. Good Afternoon Adventurers and Happy New Year! I am currently looking to start a new campaign with a full crew of 4-6 players. The adventure will take place in my homebrew World of Tolbyccia, specifically on the continent of Asteria. This will be the third time I have run a group through this story and world. About the story: For centuries, the Wardenfall Academy was the highest place of learning on Tolbyccia. Students from the 5 alliances within Asteria and from continents beyond would dedicate their lives to be accepted as one of the new students each year, only the best and brightest would join the ranks of the ones who have attended. Then, ten years ago, the doors never opened and the grounds became inaccessible due to a magical barrier preventing entry. The Wardenfall academy failed to welcome a new class for the first time since its inception. The world moved on, yet the Academy still stands, silent and untouchable and whatever ended Wardenfall’s reign of knowledge remains locked behind its walls About Me: My name is Austin, from Ontario, Canada I am 34 years old I have about 12 years of experience of D&D and other TTRPGs, mostly as a DM. I’ve run a few pre-written campaigns and games in my homebrew worlds. I love building my own worlds, cities and the people that reside within them. I have a pretty busy office job in education. I am technically on-call all week, 6AM to midnight, interruptions rarely occur, and anything that does come up usually is minor and will take less than 5-10 minutes. This puzzle adventure follows an enigmatic archmage and musician who uses magic and music to create a demiplane of memories. The hall is a place filled with echoes of the past, carefully crafted illusions brought to life. Your guide Anari invites/summons visitors into this space, giving them the opportunity to earn an audience with the archmage...unbenown to him. Characters must solve a number of puzzle rooms to obtain the memory's Song Sphere. When enough Song Spheres from the rooms have been obtained the path to The Composer will open. An audience with the archmage allows the players to ask him one question each that he will answer truthfully to his knowledge before sending them home/elsewhere. I run this as a 2 random room one shot or a 5-6 session short adventure. I am always looking for players to run through this to test with. --- This adventure is meant to be an emotive piece and includes some darker themes such as depression, addiction and death. I want everyone to feel comfortable and safe, so if these themes are not something you want to engage with this may not be the game for you. The dungeon can be run all as all 10 rooms chronologically or as shorter sessions where only a few of the rooms are done. I will decide with the groups which format they would like to play. The Project This is built off a wider story I wrote and ran from a different platform that I am currently working to convert to vTTRPG. I have spent over 130 hours DMing this dungeon and far far more building the initial sets and remaking them as maps. At this stage the focus is primarily on the puzzles so I can improve the maps, hint system and gauge pacing and difficulty for VTTRPG. There is NO COMBAT in these initial one shots, it will be introduced in later versions. It is designed so that it works as a stand alone short adventure or modular to fit the needs of a larger campaign. I aim to create an emotive experience that utilises music to enhance both the storytelling and the atmosphere while tugging at your heart strings. The project is still a WIP, so feedback will be asked for. Looking for DM for Curse of Strahd Run

Hi, I am looking for a DM willing to run Curse of Strahd for my group. I have a group of 3, possible 4 adventurers looking to start a weekly campaign sometime around the start of February. We are looking to meet around 6:00 PM CST for about 3-4 hours per session, though we can push that back if needed. As for which day of the week, we are flexible enough to do any day except Sunday. All of us in the group are over the age of 21, but have no problem with keeping a DM a little younger or older, as we typically keep our sessions PG 13. As for the roleplay, combat, and exploration split preferences, my group usually enjoys around a 30/40/30 split. Our VTT of choice is Owlbear Studio, though we are willing to use anything so long as we do not have to pay for it. Likewise, we typically host our character sheets on Adventurer's Codex, though we will use anything so long as it is free. Hi, I'm running a survival kinda dnd 5e 2014 game. Usually it runs twice a month on Sundays. It starts at 20:00(GMT +2) and runs for 2-3 hours. We have 6 players currently, but it seems only 2 can attend most of the game sessions. Since we would need at least 3 to be present for the game session to happen, then i'm looking for 1 more player. I use Fantasy ground Unity as VTT and discord as a voice channel. Method of getting stats is rolling dice . You get to roll only once. Except when you get 2 or more 10's. Then you can roll again if you want Since I have most of the species and classes "books" then there are a lot of choices if we talk about those. Since it is a survival game then all I can say about the game is what classes are other players. Also that I try to run it as a mix of sandbox and official campaigns. Meaning if you want you can choose another campaign and don't need to finish only one campaign. It has to make sense story wise though. I run more combat oriented game. RP within a Party is allowed though and I try to keep up with RP as well as I can. Let me know if you have extra questions and if you are interested in joining our campaign. Hey! We’re a small, friendly tabletop group looking for a GM to play with. We don’t have a set campaign in mind yet and want to keep things flexible. Some of us are interested in trying Pathfinder 2e with a one-shot, and if that goes well, we’d be happy to continue into a longer campaign. D&D 5e is also totally on the table.
