It starts off really normal, like everyday life, but then high magic stuff starts leaking into the world and everything slowly changes. It’s not full fantasy at the start. No castles or dragons walking around yet. Just regular people dealing with weird stuff that shouldn’t exist. Races and Classes are limited. For ancesteries you can pick Human, Dwarf, Elf, Gnome, or Halfling or Nephilim but here’s the important part: everyone is still basically human. There aren’t different species walking around. The race you pick is more like how the weird magic in the world affected you. So a “dwarf” is just a tougher, denser person. An “elf” is someone quicker and more perceptive. It’s flavor and mechanics, not actual fantasy races living in town. So yeah, the idea is you all start as normal people with normal jobs, in a normal place, and then things start going very wrong. Hello! My name is Sam & I am looking to run an Escape from Dino Island oneshot for 3-4 people this coming Saturday - February 21st at 17.00 GMT. Escape from Dino Island is a Powered by the Apocalypse system where things have just gone awry on an island full of dinosaurs. You need to escape the island, but various obstacles stand in the way of success. The system heavily encourages you to flesh out your character during play, mainly by having you tell stories about your past when taking certain actions (with the game providing prompts for stories you can tell). Since it's a PbtA system, there are a series of archetypes/"playsheets" that you can pick for play, and there's a list of moves that define what you can do in-game. This should only take a single session, which should last 3-5 hours. Character creation will be done as a group at the start of the session. Roll20 will be used for a map & for rolling, and Discord will be used for voice chat. Cameras will not be in use. Regarding me, I've been regularly GM'ing for about 9 years now. A lot of that has been D&D, but I've been getting into PbtA over the last year. This will be the second time I'm running Escape from Dino Island. It’s the year of our Lord 2177. The mining station Jeremiah VI, on the frozen moon of the second planet of the 289 Hydrae System, needs its resupply as soon as possible and you are the lucky roughnecks who got the job. While at Jeremiah VI, the rusty old starfreighter USCSS Fidanza is to pick up cargo and bring it back to Earth. Jeremiah drills for rare earth metal ore so the trips are regular. If this works out and you make the journey in good time you just might earn a permanent crew contract with the Weyland-Yutani Corporation. Grab the supplies at Anchorpoint Station, drop them at Jeremiah, pick up the canisters of processed promethium and then complete the circuit back to Earth where the USCSS Fidanza is due to be decommissioned and stripped for parts. It only requires a skeleton crew and as you are due to be rotated it’s killing three birds with one stone: get Jeremiah resupplied,promethium shipped back to Earth, and the old bucket handed over to the shipbreakers. Biggles here 43 he/him running the mega dungeon Halls of Arden Vul.  First foray with OSE, but decades of GM experience, ranging from OSR to Savages Worlds.  This will be my first time running a full campaign module, but not first long term campaign.  I just adore how well this module is written and laid out, so I’m jonesing to run it.  Our conclusion of the last campaign has now left the group to 2 players and I, whom we have been playing together for a few years.  In lieu of them having to play 2 character each I want to see about adding 2-3 more players.  I ran session 0 with two of them so far.  **House Rules**: I’ll be using most of 3d6 down the lines house rules.  I have them all laid out on our discord.  Speaking of discord, I plan to run using Discord for rolls and voice, Google Sheets character sheets, and Miro for shares, mapping and combat. I’m putting together an open-table Pathfinder 1st Edition West Marches game with multiple DMs. It's something I have been working on for the past few months along with some good friends of mine. We have many veterans and new players already and while our intended audience is europeans and mostly the Dutch (as are we) we are open to players from other places in the world as long as the timezones line up well enough. We will be running it from a heavily customized discord server. Many of us are TTRPG veterans and love helping new players figure out new systems and we have even written some guides and handouts to help new players out. Im running a Homebrew Campaign in D&D 2024 5th Edition. The game starts in two isles known as the Stormlands (Small Description Below) Because of the setting the only starting races to choose from are Humans, Dwarves and Halfings (And Dhampir versions of those) but as the campaign evolves you can unlock more races. All classes and other character options are available. The Campaign revolves around exploring the land beyond the one you know and discovering the unknown. None of the current lore is completely fleshed out and changes and additions can be made. We plan on doing a session 0 where we'll discuss parts of the game and create our characters. The game will be played on D&D Beyond and We have 3 players so far. We are seeking 2 more players so if you are interested comment below (Ages 16-21 preferred as I myself am 17) The Stormlands: Two lands surrounded by rough impassable sea. The land is ruled by humans, but there are Halfings working in the fields and Dwarves in The Peak. The Factions are split into Three: The Northlands, a rocky, militaristic isle under one rule. The Noble Kingdom or the Kingdom ruled by a long line of kings where honor and nobility is worshiped. The City of Delon, a city for and by the people under elected rule it houses the biggest centralized population in The Stormlands. The Two Isles are connected by a bridge older than History books can date and guarded by The Northland Military. In the middle of the southern Isle lies an old and mysterious Forrest named The Elder Forest, it is only visited by hunters or Men who have a death wish. Small Unruled Villages and farms are scattered about the Southern isle but in the Northlands, not an inch of land is not accounted for. The Stormlands have hundreds of years of lore and tradition but the one thing unknown, is what lies beyond the sea.

I’ve been a Highlands (NW Denver) resident for over 20 years and I’m looking to find a few fellow adventurers (parent/kid combos) to join my 12-year-old son and me for a bi-weekly D&D quest. The Quest We will be starting with new Level 1 characters with the intent to take them all the way through advanced levels. We’ll be running Tales from the Yawning Portal: essentially the "Greatest Hits" of D&D history. The Table Rules: Support for Beginners: If you've never played, don’t worry. We just ask that the kids can handle basic math, some writing, and most importantly, take the gameplay seriously.  The "Vibe": Expect classic D&D action: visceral combat (think: "The blade slices through the creature's neck..."), story narrative and a "PG-13" atmosphere. In our household, we allow the occasional "shit," but no F-bombs. Obviously, we will modulate as the new group gels. I'm pretty relaxed about stuff, but do want to set the stage. I’ll be the DM I am an experienced DM, but it’s been 30 years since I've done it and the game has changed, so I’ll be learning a bit. For me, it’s about the fun rather than precision (no rule nazis, please), but I do like to lean on dice so that I’m not a dictator for ever decision. Also, I’m not against killing off characters. (It’s not fun, if there is no risk.) If that happens, you’ll start with a new one. I’m also going to experiment with adding AI and multimedia to the game play. Logistics: Schedule: Thinking alternating Sundays (4–8 PM) or Fridays (5–9 PM). The "Life Happens" Rule: If you can’t make it, someone will pilot your character so the party stays whole. We also may have to reschedule/cancel sometimes due to my work travel schedule. Hosting: I’ll host at my home in the Highlands, but our first meeting when we make characters could be at a public location. I’ll provide a healthy dinner initially (I can handle special diets), then I’ll ask the players to help once we’ve gotten into a routine. Online|5e 2014| 4 players wanted for a monster hunter inspired campaign As the title says, im using a system made by amellwind, with new weapons, monsters, and crafting system based on the monster hunter games This is however still based on dnd 5e, 2014 This campaign is planned to be exploration heavy, with player choices and backstories filling out the world as we go. Good Afternoon Adventurers! I am currently looking to start a new campaign with a full crew of 2-3 players. I have a group of 3 players ready to go, but had some scheduling conflicts with some other players who had signed up to play.  The adventure will take place in my homebrew World of Tolbyccia, specifically on the continent of Asteria. This will be the third time I have run a group through this story and world. About the story: For centuries, the Wardenfall Academy was the highest place of learning on Tolbyccia. Students from the 5 alliances within Asteria and from continents beyond would dedicate their lives to be accepted as one of the new students each year, only the best and brightest would get to call themselves Academy students. Then, ten years ago, the doors never opened and the grounds became inaccessible due to a magical barrier preventing entry. The Wardenfall academy failed to welcome a new class for the first time since its inception. The world moved on, yet the Academy still stands, silent and untouchable and whatever ended Wardenfall’s reign of knowledge remains locked behind its walls About Me: My name is Austin, from Ontario, Canada I am 34 years old I have about 12 years of experience of D&D and other TTRPGs, mostly as a DM. I am brand new to the 2024 rules, so be patient with me! Using species and classes from the 2024 PHB only. Set in my homebrew world of Asteria. The story will go from level 1 to level 11/12. No in game or out of game bullying/racism/harassment/etc. Roleplay/Combat, I would say the ratio is 50/50. Puzzles do make appearances. I do my best to make each NPC you encounter sound unique and different, unfortunately, I have ZERO talent when it comes to doing voices, but I will still always try and am usually pretty light hearted about it! I try to follow the “rule of cool” as much as possible, but won’t let it break the game. Be in it for the long haul.  If you don’t like my DM style after the first couple of sessions, let me know. Hello, I plan to do an in person game at my apartment. This is a module that my wife got and I am looking for a player or two to join us. We will be playing on tuesdays from 5pm-8pm pst.  It is based on horror folk-lore and I think the first couple pages give a good view of the setting: HERE ARE THE OLD FEARS. SURROUNDED BY LOOMING WALLS OF shrieking fog and forever trapped between dusk and the Witching Hour, Druskenvald is a realm made from the stuff of nightmares. Equal parts dreamland and afterlife, it beckons forth departed souls to be reborn into strange new folk that call this sinister place home. Lurking within the shadows of the night that never stops are ancient and terrible things that even the lord of the land forgot. Whether living or dead, heroic or humble, none are safe from the beasts that stalk the deepest woods and darkest hearts beneath the Crooked Moon. It is this ever-present crescent with the face of a grinning witch that makes Druskenvald a bit eerie, uncanny, and crooked. It is a vestige of the forgotten, primordial origins of the realm, casting a wickedly gleeful look upon the land as if weaving a plot that only it knows with an inevitably dire outcome. However, to nearly all who live throughout the domain's provinces, it has simply always loomed high overhead and provided much-needed light in an endless night so filled with terrors. Druskenvald (DRUSK-in-vabld) is a realm that exists outside the lands of the mortal and material. Enveloped in a seemingly endless expanse of eldritch gloom, it exists in a paradoxical state of limbo between the warring furies of life and death. Beyond the misty borders of this domain may lie countless worlds and afterlives, but Druskenvald stands apart-a self-contained demiplane where the living, dead, and everything in between can coexist. Within these confines is a landmass hewn into the shape of a crescent moon and a dark and roiling sea that stretches from its eastern coastline until it disappears into the haze. Looming mountain peaks to the north and south flank the lands between, forming an enormous continent-sized valley that nonsensically spans numerous environments in a relatively short distance and never experiences the turn of a season. The laws of nature and logic have no dominion over a place that is just as much nightmare and folktale as it is a land to explore. The mystifying nature of Druskenvald is made most apparent by the thirteen major provinces that comprise it. As if pulled from a child's storybook featuring a broad collection of varying tales, each of these territories has a wholly distinct biome, topography, and climate. From forest to moor, desert to tundra, swamp to farmland, they all exist side by side like a collection of bizarre patches stitched together upon a grandmother's quilt. Despite the uniqueness of each Druskenvaldian patch, travel between provinces is not especially difficult, and borders can be crossed with a simple step. Summary found online of the campaign: (The party will find themselves, recently deceased, standing on a platform ready to be ferried to Druskenwald by a ghost train. Not reaching their destination, the party instead ends up in Wickermoor Hollow, where they need to unpack the mystery of what is happening to them, and what it has to do with the residents of the town and the recently de-powered ruler of the lands.)

The Knights Radiant, controversial figures from history like the Heralds before them, are supposedly reappearing across the war ravaged continent of Roshar. Rumors of parshmen and parshendi behaving strangely have made it to the Alethi war camps. The world seems like it's changing in huge incomprehensible ways. It's a time for heroes. But that's not you. Yet. Set on Roshar, a planet in Brandon Sanderson's literary universe called the Cosmere, this beginner friendly Cosmere RPG campaign will have you take on the roles of normal Rosharans who find themselves inexplicably on a path to greatness. That path, of course, isn't without trials, which you must muster up the strength and willpower to overcome. Along the way, you might bond a spren and find your own Radiance, take on a Form of Power in the Everstorm, or even find a shardblade or shardplate of your own. Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere is a rich and expansive series, with over a dozen books set on various planets in the universe, all connected by a magical energy called Investiture. However, you don't have to be an expert on the universe to join! The great thing about playing characters just starting their journey in this wildly shifting world is that your characters don't know the rules of the setting either, so come as you are! I'm happy to be the Cosmere/Stormlight expert (I've read all of the books at least twice and spend far too much time reading about the series online) so you can just come along for the ride.  Hi y'all! My name is Nova and I am a DnD newbie. I'm looking for a group of nice people, and a DM, who can show me the ropes in a nice and fun campaign. Timewise, I am open and can be spontaneous. Looking for 1 player to fill in a trapfinder/scoundrel role for a long-term 3.5e campaign Age of Worms (Heavily modified and adapted for Forgotten Realms 1374 DR) The campaign spans levels 1-21 and revolves around a dark and ancient evil force that threatens the world. The characters find themselves embroiled in a series of events and quests that lead them to confront this malevolent entity known as Kyuss, the Wormgod. Hi, I am a new DM exploring a fairly new system called CAIN, and I wanted to post to post this just to grab some new players, Slots are small as I only need three. but I'll explain what I want from you and what you can expect from me as a DM # The Overall Feel This is a Dark Modern Dystopian Set in Japan. (Specifically starting in the City of Gero (Inside of the Gifu Prefecture) Its half and half roleplay and combat that has a decent paced story, Strong Choices, that on hunts. Decisions are always made with the players ideas. There always are consequences to dumb ideas as with most DND Games but I enjoy following the rule of cool with players. Its a moody painful setting but an accepting table. # The Speaking Stage Im most importantly looking for socially active players that enjoy being in a small community. You don't have to be overly active. I myself is criminal of not. But you have to be upto sending a few messages. making bonds and talking in voice chats. # The Tools of the Trade As a new DM. I must admit that I'm not good at Roll20, Owlbear Rodeo, and DNDBeyond. However CAIN greatly favors theater of the mind gameplay over extreme distance management. This campaign is mainly discord only. with the exception of your usual note taking apps, Pieces of Paper randomly shoved into channels, and the most forgetful DM Possible. And Edgelords. this environment is edgy. its meant to make people feel cool but its also supposed to feel psychological and sometimes scary. # What you should expect out of CAIN CAIN is a system made by one of the guys who made lancer that basically involves hunting down sins in exhibition style gameplay (where your exhibitions are hunts). You solve cases, kill demons, and get treated like garbage because all you are is property. We're a group of players looking for a GM for a hopefully long-term and weekly game that leans a bit more towards rp than combat. We have detailed backstories for our characters already, so we'd prefer a GM that will be up for worldbuilding around our backstories or working our backstories into a pre-made world instead of forcing us to bend our backstories around the worldbuilding. Open to either canon setting or homebrew. The starting time that works best for us is between 10:30-11:00pm EST on Saturdays. This is unfortunately non-negotiable. PLAYERS WANTED FOR A SCI-FI ADVENTURE! A homebrew sci-fi world using reskinned 5e (2014). All the usual magic and races are present, just set in a galaxy heavily influenced by star wars, star trek, and halo. By reskinned I mean ranged weapons are blasters instead of bows and things like that. Only custom mechanical piece is the ship combat as traditional 5e isn't great at that, starfighters!
