This is a NSFW Call of Cthulhu campaign that I'm aiming for 3-4 players playing. This will be done in Discord at 8-9:30 EST. I will be running this weekly when I'm able. Setting: The town of Raptio Peak, Oregon. The town resides in the dead center of a badlands, on hoodoo that is so wide it's become a plateau. The ground surrounding the hoodoo is incredible fertile, with a small underground river running underneath it with caves providing the towns main source of food, mushrooms. The people who live there have become coarse and hardy from subsisting off of mushrooms and the grains from the river. Campaign: Strange happenings have been going on in Raptio Peak. One day ago, the railroad shut down. One hour ago, a strange, bare chested woman was seen blowing a horn before riding off into the night. One second ago, the town church burst into flames in the middle of service. No one knows if this is a regular old demonic possession or if there's something more sinister at hand, but one thing is for sure... No one is safe tonight. Character Options Prudence: A pious 18yo single girl. She has straight strands of straw colored hair, a pale complexion, and eyes the color of the sun at dawn. Having been raised in Raptio all her life, she's dying to get out and see the world she's read about in her books and scriptures. Joseph: A hardworking 24yo single man. He has brown auburn tufts of hair, a strong, tanned body, and eyes like the midday sky. He was born and raised in Raptio Peak and dreams to someday see his grandchildren running along the plains of green grass he planted and tended. Nike: A determined 53yo divorced woman. She has loose strands of salt and pepper hair, a toned, fit figure for her age, and eyes cold and black as the ocean. She has explored the better half of the Midwest and has decided to settle down here. She says it's because she can see the sunrise from where she lives. Winchester: An easygoing 40yo businessman. With a gleaming bald scalp, a rotund body, and a tiny, beady eyes, he's looks like a very stereotypical wealthy man. He's on a business trip and decided to stop in this town for the night, the night before the train broke down. There may or may not be secret info about the characters and their motivations depending on who you choose Specific kinks that might appear in universe: Futanari, Gender Swap both ways, Musk, Pheromones, Non-con, Eldritch horrors, tentacles, mind control, pegging, chastity, whatever looking down on a woman because she's old is called, orgasm control and denial.  Specific kinks that will not be there: Snuff, Scat, Watersports, Bestiality, Gore, fucking dead bodies and everything under those umbrellas.  If something's hot, I'm probably gonna do it, but those are the guidelines on kinky stuff. Hey I'm Omar 24/M and looking for some people in the Chicago area who wanna play D&D whether you're new or experienced as long as you're enthusiastic about playing I'm cool with whatever. I've taken about a year break from dming and almost all of that was on roll20, I haven't played in person dnd since I was in high school so I'm excited to jump back in and hopefully have a long term campaign where we actually start from level 1 and make it to the end. I am currently running a PBP game set in Rune Midgard, the world of Ragnarok online using SWADE system.  I am not using the SWPF. I am translating the game powers/skills from each class to a class edge in the SWADE format. My plan is to run everyone together but since it's faster to go 1 on 1, I am doing 1 on 1 games and if the character is in the same location of the other one, they go together. I ask you to at least post once a day minimum.

The campaign is Only War, set in a homebrew sector with the idea of Recongregationist ideals being applied in a whole sector in secret. The jist is that you as players are charged with a trench section, to upgrade, repair and staff, using the pathfinder rooms and teams system. You get 5 weeks in between every increasingly difficult battles and must manage supply demands, orders from the regiment commanders and your own desires for growth and equipment. You will fight across 4 planets, each with a new enemy army to compete against. I use a bit of homebrew, mostly around mass combat rules but I have created a few psyker powers, weapons and talents. I tend to let me players do what they like, with immanent threat of death based on your own decision making. However I believe the game should be fun, I wont treat you unfairly and if I think there is a danger your character would feel or see but you as a player don't, I will make it known. I have ran these systems for a long time, so don't be afraid to ask questions or be afraid as a new player. Hello! First time posting, I am the DM for a group of four that have been playing since December 2017 (in-person) in southwestern Maine. One of our members has stepped away from the game, leaving us with 3 players at the table. While that is a fine size we do enjoy the dynamic with four player characters - and with the recent departure the table feels a bit empty! It is a home brewed world, the current campaign started on New Year’s Day January 2025. The campaign before that was our only other campaign, which ran about 7 years. The players are currently level 8, and they are on a tall ship in a campaign in which they are sailing around the pangaean continent and battling evil, pirates, spending lots of time in coastal cities on shore leave getting into trouble and all of that great stuff. We play with the 5e 2014 rules and our sessions are every Tuesday night, running from 7pm to usually around 11-12, rarely running longer than that. To be honest we are quite spoiled in that we rarely have a group member absent, and would be looking for somebody who wants to commit to being there in person every week. I don’t have a lot of experience with seeing other groups play, but I would describe us as fairly role play heavy - lots of time spent between players having conversations in character with each other and NPCs. We lean into the “yes, and” style as much as people are comfortable with. We are a mature group, most of us in our 40s. After our player exit there will be two women and two men at the table, if that’s important to know. We are an upbeat group, we don’t delve into stuff that makes people uncomfortable, and we care a lot about our little world and the time we spend together. I know it’s a long shot posing this, considering how hard it is to get schedules to line up and how sparsely populated Maine is - but I would have regrets if I never tried! We are hoping the right person is out there and willing to give us a try. Hello everyone! We are a group of four looking for a DM for a new campaign. We have been playing D&D together for about four years at this point and would like to start up a second campaign as one of the campaigns we are in together recently ended. We would like the campaign to be weekly, preferably on the weekend at a set time (we usually have campaigns around 6 PM CET), but we are usually flexible when it comes to sessions if life happens and the session needs to be rescheduled. As for the campaign it is really up to you as the DM. The only wishes we have are the following: we want to play D&D 5E 2024, and not an evil campaign. We would also prefer a more traditional D&D setting, either set in Faerun or a world similar to it. A homebrew world is completely fine. We would like to start the campaign at a low level (ideally level 3) and keep playing until we reach higher levels of play. We would prefer the campaign to have a story and a common goal, so not like a directionless sandbox campaign. We tend to follow the threads you lay out as a DM, meaning we do not usually decide to do something completely different than what you have prepared as a DM. As for more personal requirements: - we would like you to be at least 25 years old - somewhat experienced in DMing - fluent in English - at a stable enough point in your life where you could see yourself DMing a long campaign consistently As for us - we are all from different nationalities so where you are from does not matter. Hello! I'm looking to form a new weekly, long-term group of five to six players on Thursday evenings. The game would start at 19:30 (GMT+2) each Thursday and end at 23:00. Just as it says in the title of this post, I've decided to run the pre-made campaign Tomb of Annihilation, using (as one might expect) the 5th edition of Dungeons & Dragons. My plan, however, isn't necessarily to keep running 5e D&D forever. If I manage to find a group I’d like to keep playing with after this campaign, I hope we’ll be open to trying other systems as well. New players are more than welcome (experience isn't on the list of requirements), as are those who are more experienced. Tomb of Annihilation is a deadly jungle and dungeon-crawling adventure. The lands of Chult are teeming with danger, from active threats such as dinosaurs and the undead to more common hazards such as disease and dehydration. Character death is a very real possibility, and players should be ready for it. A large part of this campaign is focused on survival and exploration, and I intend to lean heavily into those aspects. My goal won't be to kill your characters, but I won't be hand-holding them either. As is the case with all my games of 5th ed D&D, I have certain limitations when it comes to character creation. Sourcebooks will mostly be limited to everything between the PHB and Xanathar's, with material from later books implemented on a case-by-case basis. Character races are limited at the start, with some options becoming available later in the campaign. Multiclassing is limited and will require narrative justification. If you are someone who is heavily into "builds," you'll likely be disappointed. I like to play into the actual in-world implications of things like character classes, and I do not treat them purely as mechanics to be reflavored as seen fit. I'd describe myself as a very neutral DM. I don't fudge my dice, and I don't like to make decisions based on what would make a good story. Instead, I aim to portray the world based on what would make the most sense. I believe that the "story" of the game is something that emerges from the gameplay. I'm also more interested in what your characters are actually doing at any given moment rather than just what's on the paper. I don't want to hear "Can I roll Persuasion/Perception?", I want to hear what your character is actually saying to the guard or how they are searching the room. This is a campaign where you basically get to adventure through the world that my mind imagines and you influence. It's a darker setting with lots of psychological horror elements and without any real objective to achieve.  It’s what I’d see as a classic dnd world. A medieval-esque world with magic. The main idea about the world is that chaos is growing, darkness is spreading and the world is corrupted and continues to grow darker and more dangerous. This is due to Bane (the god of darkness) and his followers wishing to draw the whole realm into the dark grip of Bane. While this is happening Bhaal and Myrkul (the 2 other in the dead 3, god of murder and lord of bones) will become jealous and also start influencing the realm and driving to empower themselves. Bane’s most important followers have gained the ability to steal the souls of lower mortals to transform themselves into demons and monsters of the fiendish variety (Bane is a fiendish god from what I could find) The characters I’ve had so far have had sad backstories, but tbh, I give everyone the freedom to do as they choose. I’m creating homebrew items and maps for the campaign as well! The players will be free to do whatever they choose in the world with me putting my heart and soul into creating as fun and adventurous encounters and experiences. The campaign has technically started, but players often disappear due to scheduling conflicts and such. And not much has happened so far. I'm finally running a proper evil campaign for my players, and we have an open spot. Conspire with the party, figure out what you want to do, take over the city (or destroy it, or eat it). The city will try to stop you from taking over. Don't piss off too many factions until you're strong enough to accomplish your goals. We play in-person in Kirkland (Seattle area) every other Saturday from 5-10pm. Evil Campaign starts as soon as the current campaign wraps up, tentatively starts Saturday May 2. About 13th Age: 13th Age is a d20 RPG designed by a lead designer of D&D 3e and a lead designer of D&D 4e. It takes gamey combat with plenty of character options and blends it with free-flowing narrative mechanics. We are playing with the 2nd Edition rules (which are almost identical to the 1st Edition rules, but with a few tweaks). Both 1E and 2E class options are allowed (other than a handful of very overpowered options). My campaign is about 75% combat and about 25% everything else (roleplay, social, investigation, puzzles, etc). The overall campaign tone will be serious, but some sub plots can be silly, and 4th wall breaks and pop culture references are common. This campaign will also be primarily player driven. The players will decide on the party goal, individual character arcs and character goals, and downtime goals. The idea is to run a story-focused online campaign where the events, characters, and conflicts that emerge during gameplay become inspiration for creative writing between sessions. Good morning my name is Dax, Unfortunately one of my party members had to leave the game due to personal reasons so I'm looking for 1/2 new players for my Daggerheart game. Now we are pretty new to Daggerheart so it's currently "Daggerheart which plays like D&D" until we get a bit more used to the system, if that doesn't bother you then feel free to sign up. Hey everyone, I’m Eli! I love coffee, hamsters, and mangoes! This will be a Descent Into Avernus play by post (PBP) game. That said, I’m aiming for 1 or 2 posts per day! I’ve made a few changes to the original adventure to try to give a more player oriented approach. The adventure I’ll be running is Baldur’s Gate: Descent into Avernus. The campaign leans heavily into themes of moral ambiguity, difficult choices, and the consequences of power. Devilish bargains, temptations, and questions of what people are willing to sacrifice for salvation are all central to the story. While there will certainly be combat, the adventure really shines when players lean into roleplay, character motivations, and the weight of their decisions. Your characters will begin as members of the Flaming Fist, so having motivations that tie you to Baldur’s Gate, Elturel, or the surrounding regions will go a long way in grounding your character in the story. I’m open to my players using any kind of format for their sheets whether that’s PDF or DnD Beyond, but we’ll be rolling using Avrae so DnD Beyond tends to be the most seamless. In terms of rulesets, we’ll be starting at level three with a combination of the 2014 and 2024 edition ruleset. Ik'Ye'Lakha (Bones of The Ancient Earth) 7 PM US CST every other Saturday The Cradle of Civilization is a sandbox campaign, set in the paleolithic era of a fantasy world that we usually don't see in D&D Campaigns. It will chronicle hopefully the founding of the world's first multicultural settlement.  The setting draws primarily on Mayan and Yucatec mythology, as well as some broader dnd themes to show the origin of some of those ideas and creatures, like some of the first spells or members of certain classes. The region, Ik'Ye'Lakha, is based on the Yucatan peninsula for inspiration, so expect dinosaur fossils, cenotes, dense marsh and jungle. Two "forever DMs" looking for more opportunities to be players! We're pretty chill, in our early 30s, and looking for a couple other players and a DM to meet up in the northeast Atlanta area for some consistent DnD.  With a group formed we can decide on the campaign (largely up to the DM!).
