A place mixing magic and technology, the Xedian continent is primarily ruled by the Asosallian Empire headed by Emperor Sata Ralda IV. It is an expansionistic Empire that has set its sights on the continent to the South and region to the East of the Empire, but has been held off by war and political tension respectively. The Empire views the people to the East of its borders as allies, but tension is high, while people found elsewhere in the world are to be brought under the power of Emperor Ralda himself. This campaign is set for a party of four to six adventurers and has a small focus on exploration and survival, while the grander plot focuses on gaining knowledge and accumulating resources to survive a harsh nation. At the beginning of the campaign, the players will find themselves arrested for crimes they didn’t (or did?) commit, being brought across the Nora River to the town of Bieyron to the East. They have overheard that they are to be slated for execution by hanging, no matter their crime, as they are being made examples of to the general populace. Payment will be collected weekly via paypal at a rate of 5$ per hour played, up to a maximum of 15$ for three hours per session. If session goes over that, such as being in the middle of a combat or an intense scene, you will not be charged additional unless the agreed upon time frame is longer than three hours. I've been playing TTRPG's for around 4 years now, with a hefty focus on the system in question. DND2014/5e. I've played a few others, including a cobbled together Pokemon system I and my friends made for our own purposes. I've done public play-by-posts, private games like this one online, played in long-running IRL and online games, and generally have experience with all manner of IRL and Online games! I live in the Southern states, so CST (I.e. GMT-6) with a pretty open availability for the most part.  Most games are focused on power fantasies: slay the evil, fulfill the prophecy, become the chosen hero. It's fun, of course; who doesn't enjoy feeling unstoppable? Walking into a fight knowing you're the biggest thing in the room. It's satisfying and leads to some super sick scenes- But that's not what I'm craving right now! No, today I want struggle- Not neccesarily bad endings or being snatched or taken by the villain, but friction, frustration, etc. I want to sit there counting my gold and silver and actually have to choose between taking a new weapon, or do I stock up on potions because last time nearly killed me? Manage every resource I got, between income, sleep, and time- Even so far as trying to harvest specific bits of monsters because they sell better or going out at specific times for a hunt. I want the small stuff to matter; the quiet math of survival- Choosing party members for stats, abilities, temperament, who to put my trust into. Building bonds and butting heads but trying to keep tensions down without dying. I want to feel a loss of an ally, both in emotion and mechanic. A gap. I want to survive, to have a chance, to struggle but make it out and FEEL when I don't. My immediate feelings are probably obviously fantasy stuff, low magic, that sort- I'm most familiar with DnD5e but I'm MORE than aware that it doesn't wholly work for this. Dicelite, no dice, whatever the GM wishes for! I'm down. Now, in terms of NSFW presence; I would like a little bit! Preferably not nonstop fucking, but some smut here and there would be pleasant- A way to get closer with allies, take my mind off of things, make connections to use later- Whatever really! But it does sound like it'd be nice, and honestly, fantasy ERP is lovely! I am a Male, and lean dominant, for reference, but I am also Pan. You'll keep your skills, knowledge, magic and equipment earned in this life. But the rest of my offer still applies to you as well. **Campaign Setting** The world of Azeroth has many regions and continents. The largest region is named Drogunheim. Drogunheim was the site of the first and second god war. After the first war the land was named after the hero who ended the war and he claimed the scarred land and became its first king. However in the recent years the current king has been slain and replaced by Demetri Vundergard who claimed to bring about real change, starting with the name of the capitol and the region. Since he has taken power, people have been going mad, disappearing, or publicly executed for treason, despite a lack of evidence, or trial. Crops are going bad, prices are the highest they've ever been due to taxes and low supplies. Even the animals of the land are acting strangely. The king proclaimed having prior knowledge (a vision from god) of these growing issues, claiming the old king wasnt ready for these undertakings. If poorly managed these will lead to the death of all, and only he has the answers and the plan that will save everyone... Only if they work with him will they see the light of a brighter future. You will join into the campaign 10yrs after Demetri took power. During session 0 the god will go more indepth about about your mission.
