Firmament's Ashes is a sci-fi action system set in the far future, after a great human society's Faster-Than-Light travel technology ceased to function, trapping each solar system from one another. Megacorporations rule the Azalea System, and mysterious contamination has begun to spread, mutating humans into monsters. In addition, strange abilities called Authorities have begun to appear. Science is old and technology extremely advanced, while magic is new and something the players will need to explore and puzzle out for themselves. The system has two modes of progression- applying cybernetic, genetic, or contamination mods to your body, and acquiring new Authorities, and players can use both methods. The mods can be purchased, while the Authorities will need to be discovered. Basically the campaign will incentivize exploration and learning the secrets of the world and how the Authorities function, so anyone who likes figuring patterns out and solving puzzles might be a good fit. Hello one and all, I hope your day or night is going well. I'm starting up a new campaign after a brief hiatus. The game is set in a world of my own creation on a planet covered in ice and little daylight. Lore-wise, the planet has been slowly freezing for the last few centuries, and no one can agree on what caused it or why. Some blame the elves, some blame it on a whim of the gods, and the more bookish types blame it on something else entirely. The game will use a barter system and have a twice-a-day survival roll to see if the extreme cold affects your character. Heavy clothing doesn't let you automatically pass as it does in the rules. The sun only shines anywhere from 1-4 hours a day, depending on the season, and the days themselves last roughly 30 hours. The campaign itself, outside of random adventures and sidequests, players will eventually piece together what really happened to the world. I am looking for 4 players for an exciting adventure in my Homebrew World of Evira using the D&D 5e (2014) Game System. The campaign is focused on storytelling and roleplay, and all levels of experience are welcome. This is not my first campaign, but by no means am I a professional. I run games because I enjoy telling stories with a group of friends and having fun playing the game together. My last group broke apart, as there were scheduling and personal issues. D&D has been quite a joy for me and I am not willing to give up on it that easily. The World of Evira: Evira is a Homebrew World I have created taking inspiration from sources like The Lord of the RIngs, A Song of ice and Fire, The Witcher, and Warhammer Fantasy. Gods are distant and there are no planes or Multiverses. The campaign will mostly take place in the Northern Realms of the main Contintent, where danger can lurk everywhere and the land is scarred by centuries of history. Magic is more rare, and the understanding of it is limited to most people. The Story: You can make your adventure and decide what story hooks to follow and how much you wish to interact with them. Interacting and not interacting will have consequences on the world. Sometimes not even I know where things might lead. You as the party choose your path, as you navigate through the world together. What to Expect: Moral ambiguity; Good people do bad things, bad people have their reasons. Faith is more cultural and Clerics are not the chosen of gods, but more akin to scholars, zealots, or people simply wielding tradition. I won't shy away from darker themes, so this is certainly 18+. I try to make combat challenging, but never unfair. But what will you do? Will you dive into the politics or slay monsters, the choice is completely yours. I am looking for addtional players for a DnD 5e 2014 campaign, scheduled at saturdays 7pm CET (Or CEST, depending on daylight savings). The campaign is set in a homebrew world, specifically in the lower plane that is split between devils and demons, the devils inhabiting the northern half known as the tyrant city, wher the campaign takes place. Players are encouraged to be playing as monstrous races, mostly devils, but also other non-good creatures of lawful alignment are allowed. This works by turning monster statsheets into playable races. The Devils should be of a rank of or below the barbed devil, and other monstrous races should be cr 5 or lower, but exceptions can be made on a case by case bases depending on the actual power of said monster. Due to the nature of devils, a bit of social backstabbing is to be expected, like taking credit for the work of others, but open pvp is discouraged. The Party is currently at 5th level.  The Party is working as detectives for the Southern central police department of the tyrant city. Main content of the campaign are shaping up to be investigations and heists, but stuff like that can change a bit depening on how the players act.

Greetings! I've started playing DnD and recently i've developed a homebrew campaign. Since it is almost ready (still needs some tweaks and balancing), i would like to get a 2nd opinion on it, maybe a session 0 too for a playtest. GMT+2 You begin as prisoners of the world. Born with mana in a land that fears magic, you were exiled by the inquisitors and shipped to die on a prison island. You never arrive. A sea monster destroys the ship, and you awaken on an uncharted island that doesn’t exist on any map. There are no cities, no laws and no rescue coming. There's only wilderness, ruins, and others who survived in very different ways. The players must scavenge for food and materials, build and upgrade a camp for different bonuses, explore and find different factions on this island. It’s a fantasy survival campaign set in a harsh, isolated world where the players start with very little and must earn everything through exploration, tough choices, and cooperation. The focus is on atmosphere, and storytelling, rather than on fixed outcomes. Players can explore/scavenge dangerous lands, deal with rival factions, build up a camp or settlement over time, and shape how the story evolves through their decisions. Combat exists, as long with some light survival, resource management, and camp expanding mechanics. I was thinking that the campaign adapts to player choices, nothing is predetermined or set in stone story-wise. Dm if interested. I'm looking to run a ~6 month long Stormlight Archives campaign on Thursdays at 8pm GMT weekly. This campaign is set to explore the Frostlands and surrounding seas during the period between the third and fourth novels. Familiarity with the setting would be beneficial, though not critical, but be prepared for spoilers for the first four books of the series! Beginners are welcome, as this will be my first attempt at running the system too. I'll be running via FoundryVTT and using Discord for voice communication. In terms of game content, I'll be going for a similar heroic fantasy as the books, though a little more down to earth as your characters wont be in positions of direct power or influence to start. I've GMed various systems for over 15 years, and always enjoy trying new ones. My campaign style tends to be quite open ended and sandboxy, lots of exploration and building on the actions of the players.

Hello! My name is Alexis and I am the DM for a DnD campaign in my homebrew world of Aegrumund. I am 20 years old, have been playing dnd for about 5 years and DM’ing for a little over 3. Currently I am looking for 2 new players to build the party back up to a team of 6. Previous players left due to schedule complications. You’ll be joining another new player for a 3 player mini-adventure (2 sessions) before joining the rest. Sessions are on Sundays weekly at 17:00 GMT, we use 2024 5e rules, use owlbear for maps and use dndbeyond for character creation and rolls. Rules Absolutely no bigotry. Age range preferably 18-23. Preferably a basic understanding of DnD I try to keep things going smoothly, so don’t argue when I try to move things along. If you cannot make it to a session, please notify as soon as you are able. What to expect Setting: Aegrumund is a very homebrewed setting, so many things are different. So don’t argue with me that something is not like how it is in base DnD lore. This includes Gods, the world of Aegrumund has a unique pantheon that is filled with renamed DnD deities and unique deities I’ve come up with. There will be around 11 countries to choose from which I’ll discuss at end of post. Technology: The technology is more advanced than typical fantasy setting, with the world having tech about equal to early 20th century, so there are things such as biplanes, trains, vehicles, and firearms. Though firearms did not have as much as an impact as they have had in real life, so armour and other weapons are still prevalent. Atmosphere and themes: This campaign is very political and explores serious themes such as xenophobia, fascism, corruption of politics, and the casualties of war. Despite the serious subject matters, there will still be many lighthearted moments. A lot of the core themes of the campaign revolve around togetherness and the prevalence of hope against all odds. Gameplay: I try to offer a good mix of exploration, combat and roleplay. With combat, sometimes it will be grand battles and other times it's many smaller battles with fitting enemies that slowly chip away at you. It is quite a roleplay focused group and your backstory will absolutely matter and I will do y best to make nods to it throughout the campaign even if it takes a while to get to. I try to give everyone their spotlight moment.  Story: The world is ending, although not many know it. This will soon be discovered by your characters. The story will revolve around your characters travelling across the world and gathering resources, experience, and allies to put a stop to the nothingness that wishes to encapsulate the universe. Your characters will have to deal with their own flaws and the flaws of the world to have a fighting chance against their adversaries Now here are small snippets of the current characters. Kalashtar Artificer (Armourer) who is determined to remember more of their past and provide freedom for those they come across. Leonin Barbarian (Giant) who goes place to place hunting down dangerous monsters that threaten all around them; has a penchant for hating pirates. Tiefling Druid (Stars) who is constantly on the move, yet gets overly attached to those around her, although plays a safe distance of religious folk; hates liars. Please make sure to build a character that can work with others and is preferably not evil alligned, as I have had players try to get away with incredibly questionable missions, getting upset when confronted. Here are descriptions of the 11 countries of Lyoren and Euloshia. Lyoren Viarose, Ascadiya and Dourzier are all apart of the Dourzieran Empire Viarose: This is the country where the wind sings; large crop fields, open plains, and flower fields that on as far as the eye can see; fey magic is known to rustle through the long grass throughout the land. Viarose is one of the biggest grain producers of the world and is known to have extremely good education. A country where the food is plentiful and people are more than happy to share. Ascadiya:Ascadiya is full of mountanous spires and forests full of tall trees. Their number one export is timber, as they have aircrafts that are able to fly overhead and plant seeds and special fertiliser, creating a balance of give and take. Not everyone has caught on to this life style, however, as sky pirates can still be seen flying above the homes of many. Many birdfolk live up high in the trees and dwarves have made their homes in the mountains. Dourzier: Dourzier leads the world in innovation. Producing some of the greatest technological minds and the blueprints for technology that will change the world. Dourzier is the largest user of magetech, technology that combines forward thinking technology and incredibly magic. Dourzier is the home of all kinds of people, a majority focused on becoming unique individuals, making something of themselves and not blending in with the crowd. f Skovadin: Skovadin is a cold ruthless country that prioritises industrialisation. They do not take kindly to Dourziers magetech and prefer the traditional tech of steam and smoke. Many dwarves, goliaths, humans, orcs, and gnomes have made their home here, carrying on the practice of old giant and dwarven runes to progress their society. Despite the cold nature, many Skovadins are welcoming and take pride in making efforts to contribute greatly to their community. Mipheer:Mipheer is full of large forests which host a plethora of flora and fauna. People and nature are intertwined. Nature has a voice here and people listen. Mipheer is home to many of those who live in the moment, and can be aloof at times. It is also home to the Emerald Eye, a group of people who seek to learn as much as they can and share it with many, so corruption may not spread. Like Viarose, fey magic is prevalent here, although it has more presence throughout the beautiful massive woods. Sombrirciel: Sombrirciel is a country almost entirely underground. Underneath the great mountainous expanses near Skovadin is where Sombrirciel lies, with large artificial and natural formations holding up the ceiling, which is home to thousands of glittering rocks resembling stars. Sombrirciel is full of those who managed to escape the enslavement of tyrants below them, now sealed off, hopefully for good. Euloshia Vuluvaki: Vuluvaki is a large expanse of savannahs, forests, and deserts. While many of the world considers Vuluvaki to be less advanced, they show themselves to be extremely experienced in agriculture, craftsmanship, and the sciences. It is home to a strange phenomenon that seems to drive people mad the deeper into Robaria one goes. Many worry about it spreading, but many Robarian priests seem to manage to be able to claim it. Kinaezi: Kinaezi is one of the leading countries when it comes to medicinal technology, using a combination of innovative magetech and the traditional arts of natural herbalism. In recent years, Kinaezi has focused a lot of it’s efforts on modern industrialisation and providing more infrastructure for the ever increasing population. Kinaezi argues for a world that combines traditionalism and industrialisation to truly make progress. Corazia: Corazia is a land full of lush jungles, hosting a wide array of fauna and flora. It prides itself on it’s massive outputs of fruit produce and it’s incredibly powerful military which makes good use of Corazia’s war technology. The people are determined, hard working, and thrive within communities. The society is very meritocratic, with strength and intelligence being very prized within the country. Republic of Guastia: This island chain country prides itself in its seafaring technology, being able to explore great distances and having world renowned seafood. The people of Guastia are welcoming and wear both their heart and tradition on their sleeves. Nature and spirituality is highly valued here, making use of what the land gives you and being thankful for what you receive. Sashismar: Sashismar is an incredibly beautiful scenic coastal country where the sea breeze spans for miles. Many nobles reside here, enjoying the riches of Sashimar being one of the largest trading countries in the world. There is never a day without entertainment, many people come here to enjoy the delicious seafood, the lovely beaches, endless alcohol, and of course the never-ending gossip with the noble houses. Lore bit The current year is 1784 of the Age of Empowerment. Euloshia is improving exponentially, with trade, production, and invention increasing ever more. This is a stark contrast to about a hundred years ago when a great event caused massive war. Dourzier was on the cusp of an amazing discovery, however, they needed a specific location. A specific village in Skovadin had everything Dourzier needed. So it was, work was set immediately. However, the experiment went wrong, Skovadin accused Dourzier of this being some hidden terrorist attack, Dourzier of course refuted this. This meant war, Skovadin troops were sent to Dourzierian occupied land and began taking money and resources. Dourzier and Skovadin both made their allies join the war. If you’ve managed to read all this. Let me know your favourite colour. Eventually, both sides couldn't afford to wage war, instead refusing to trade with one another, and making their allies follow suit. This would've had catastrophic effects had several groups of people secretly trades resources to one another. Eventually, both sides decided they couldn't afford to be isolated, opening up trade and travel about 20 odd years ago. Many are still reeling from the effects, and still converse whether the experiment going wrong was the goal or not. When do we start? Session 0 will have all new players, all old players, and of course me the DM on the 8th of February (Sunday) at 17:00 to go through characters concepts and have everyone get to know each other. Then on the 15th and 22nd, the three new players will have their first sessions together, with march 1st being the first session with all players together and then it will continue like that regularly. The small seaside town of Otari is known for its fresh fish and skilled sailors, but above all, it’s a big logging town, providing valuable wood to the nearby metropolis of Absalom. But for you, Otari is home. You grew up playing on the docks, getting lost in the nearby woods, and hearing the fantastical stories of travelers from faraway lands, tales of terrifying dragons and virtuous knights. Such adventure always seemed so distant- until today. Word has begun to spread around Otari that there's a problem down at the Otari Fishery. Some are saying that some sort of beast is lurking in the basement, feeding on the stores of salted fish. Folks are worried that whatever is eating the fish might get hungry enough to eat the fishers next! You've received a letter from Tamily Tanderveil, the owner of the Fishery. Inside is a desperate plea for help. With the town guard busy protecting the loggers, she needs a few brave souls to venture down into the basement of her warehouse and put an end to the beast that's feasting on her fish! Do you have the courage to face the menace under Otari? A short 2-4 session game of the Pathfinder 2e Beginner Box where you will be introduced to the basic mechanics of Pathfinder 2e. I have run the Box multiple times and am open to help any players learn the system. We will be playing over Discord for Voice and on Foundry for the maps and tokens. Foundry is free for players and has great automatisation for Pathfinder2e. Specific day can be negotiated with the players, but we would usually start playing at around at 7/8pm UTC+1. I accept new players to teach the system and experienced players that just want to play something small and simple, no matter from where on earth as long as you can make it to the session.

Whether your character is a native of Kadolna or from a far off region of the familiar world of D&D 5E, your presence is welcome and available!    I've been DMing secular groups of players within my hometown for about four years now, giving me an intermediate level of experience. I urge players of all knowledge levels to not fear jumping in. I myself am always learning and am far from the perfect dungeon master. A lonely fort stands on the banks of a mighty river. It is here the hardy bands of adventurers gather to plan their conquests of The Hill, the hulking mass that looms over this tiny settlement. The Hill is filled with monsters, they say, and an evil witch makes her home there. Still, no visitor to The Hill has ever returned to prove the rumours true or false. The thrill of discovery is too great to pass up, and only the river stands in the way. The adventurers' boat is waiting! I'm running an OSE Classic Fantasy campaign on Monday evenings (UK time). We're playing through B5 Horror on the Hill, a classic D&D module. Unfortunately, we've had a few drop outs recently and we're looking for a couple more to join us. We're 17 sessions in, although most of the group will be new players going forward. We want to keep the group fairly small (no more than four or five players), so we're looking for folks who can commit to attending most weeks. If you're unfamiliar, Old-School Essentials is a retro-clone of Basic/Expert (B/X) Dungeons & Dragons, which was released as two boxed sets in 1981. Combat is often deadly and the PC mortality rate can be quite high, so players are encouraged to avoid fights or find ways of gaining a strategic advantage. Just as a heads up, we don't usually do a lot of roleplaying or talking in character. The players tend to approach the game in a more objective, strategic way. You might be inclined to think of your character as a pawn or playing piece, or even a soldier in the wargame, except that your options are not limited to movement and attacks. We use Owlbear Rodeo for grid-based combat and the players usually map the dungeon as they explore it. Hello I am looking to DM a group in a Pathfinder 1e game. I am open to any and everyone who would like to play, I am newbie friendly. the 1 player I currently have is planning on playing a paladin with the Sword of the arcane order feat. My plan is to start at lvl 3, and I also am allowing content from 3.5 in the game too, for hit dice the minimum is half the dice max +1 each level, along with that I also do not allow the alignments LE, NE, CE, and CN unless it is a villains campaign. I am fairly laid back and flexible so I am going to do a Golarion Sandbox setting. I will also say that I do also allow my players to draw things from 3.5 as well like prestige classes, feats, and spells for example. please message me on discord as that is where I am most active.
