There are currently four players. The setting is a homebrew eastern fantasy with light scifi elements. it is theater of the mind but I do make some basic maps in roll20 for important combat. Some important things to note This will be a roleplay heavy campaign, combat will be rare, meaningful events. as well as that this is a living breathing world and your actions have consequences. Some of my homebrew rules regarding character creation level 5 Free feat at character creation Stats can be rolled with the standard 4d6 drop one. If you use you may use a modified point buy of 27 points with the minimum being six and the max being sixteen. Bows are re-flavored as guns. May add homebrew guns as we see fit, There are race restrictions; you can play human, elf and any beast/ animal related race. Also any demonic and monstrous race. But no dwarves, , gnomes and halflings, centaurs and fairies The most common races are Teiflings, dragonborn, elves, Beast races and humans When creating your character could you please link your character to a paragon (god) and an organization if possible. When rolling hp if it is lower than the average you can take the average and you can reroll ones. Everyone can speak Common and Hellsong (homebrew language replacing Abyssal and infernal) , the two major languages of Gaia and Syatra Starting money of 300 jade coins All official classes are ok subclasses most should be fine unless very setting specific. I am open to the 2024 class changes and rules but not experienced with them. Some home rules  every +1 in int should give u a skill, language or tool proficiency You can drink a potion as a bonus action to roll for healing or drink as an action to receive max healing. Any sort of dimensional travel can only travel between the opposite dimension. Eg. If you're in Gaia and use a dimensional travel ability/spell you will travel to Syatra and vice versa. Resurrection is incredibly rare and powerful magic. Thus is inaccessible by most. If needed then one must gain the favor of a powerful being capable of such a feat. Rare and expensive materials may be needed for the ritual as well. Meaning, you will have to do a difficult side quest to get a resurrection. The hook: You are mercenaries in the capital city of the holy obsidian empire, Karános. You have been hired  as extra muscle and to help with patrols as the city is dealing with a corrupting song that is seemingly causing people to go mad and fly into a frenzy. Thus causing crime to sky rocket and the Onyx capes are understaffed. I’m looking to attempt running a 2e Dark Sun game as you may have gathered from the title. I’ll be running the pre written adventure “A Little Knowledge where the party starts off in the depths of a slave hold traversing the Athasian desert! A disclaimer about me is that I’m pretty new to dm’ing. And frankly I don’t have much experience with 2e aside from a few online games. And Dark Sun is a setting that most people wouldn’t recommend for beginners. However, everyone’s gotta start somewhere and I have a soft spot for this setting in particular. You can be those one of races *or* a monk if you want, but you cannot be the combination of the two (I learned this lesson the hard way with a way too fast aarakocra monk PC in another game lol) - Rolled stat generation - HP can be fixed or rolled (if rolled, reroll 1s) - Password: Sunrise - Multiclassing allowed (your stats do not have to meet multiclass requirements) - Optional class features (from Tasha's) allowed - Milestone leveling - Everyone starts with 1 free Common magic item - Would love to get at least a small backstory document from each player so I can work their story into the game from the beginning. It doesn't have to be super in depth, but I would like at least a bit of deep thought put into the character's origin. If you give me a huge backstory document with lots of juicy details to sink my teeth into, I will be kissing you on the mouth (consensual/platonic). Just be willing to possibly change some details up to fit the world/story ideas I currently have! Homebrew Rules - Everyone starts with one free DM inspiration (free d20 reroll) and more can be earned with creative game play. - Sorcerers can be CON casters (instead of CHA). I will also allow other main class ability changes with some discussion. - Only rule I am taking from the 2024 rule set: Exhaustion (10 levels instead of 6, and subtracting current # of exhaustion levels from all d20 rolls) - Exploding crits (any die rolled to the highest value is rerolled and continually added to total damage until rolled below highest value). Ex: crit on 4d10, you would roll 8d10. If you rolled a 10 on any of those dice, you would keep rolling and adding until you roll that die below a 10. - "Beyond the Limit" spell slots (idk if this idea has an actual name lol). Basically, you can keep using your spell slots, even once you have run out of them, but at the cost of level(s) of exhaustion equal to the spell level of the slot Ex: a 2nd level spell slot recovered this way would give you 2 levels of exhaustion. I am still playtesting this idea, including playing around with the idea of allowing this for non-casters with class/race abilities, but it might change around a bit. - Sanity/Fear checks. I'm stealing this from Call of Cthulhu and will be using a fear system that could possibly lead to your PC developing phobias and other effects based on the horrific things you may encounter. - While I tend to stick to mostly RAW (rules as written), I'm also open to rule of cool when it would benefit the story/the enjoyment of the players. Other notes - Everyone is welcome at my table. I am a white queer enby, who is disabled/neurodivergent, and will always try my best to foster safe spaces for folks. - Safety tools are used at the table. The Lorekeeper is responsible for controlling the influence of Fate within the Realms that reside within the Books of Lore within the Archive of Finality. However, recently he has been pushing Fate heavily in favor of the villains.. Recently, he did this with 5 Books of Lore and despite him staying within the parameters of his job, the heroes still rose triumphant.. So the Lore Guardian sent those books to the Annals of Ancients. Rather than take them there, the Lorekeeper took them to the Forbidden Chamber. He then infused the Realms within the maximum possible Fate Skewing far beyond acceptable parameters.. The resulting chaos caused the 5 worlds of FF6, FF7, FF9, FF10, and FFTA (Tactics Advanced) to fuse together and many of the heroes of those worlds were killed in the resulting chaos prior to the worlds fusing together.. 20 Years have passed since this event and survivors from the Heroes have banded together to form a Resistance. Your memories as a whole are fragmented, recalled piecemeal as your hazy vision scans around the room. Voices. The sounds of footsteps echo aside them from somewhere beyond your heavy gaze. Your form is numb, each bone and every muscle laden with the memory of a thousand trials your mind refuses to conjure. There is a heavy thud as the footsteps stop, the voices hush, leaving you alone in the silence for but a moment. You feel yourself lowered to the ground by some unseen hand, and as you feel yourself slump against the ground, you manage a meager tilt of your head in the direction of the sound. The door to your prison stands open. And for the first time, you recognize the soft sound of the labored breathing of several others around you. Another test, perhaps. But as the heavy stone wall sways towards you, beckoning you to muster the strength to rise up and grasp this opportunity… you hear a voice. “Run free, my friends.” Familiarity stirs, though you find yourself unable to put a face or name to the sound as their footsteps trail off. Mostly free on Saturdays, but can do Fridays or some weekdays (just not Thursdays). Super reliable—only misses if life throws something unavoidable at them. New to 3.5 specifically but knows the fundamentals and is pumped to learn. Happy playing with both newbies and vets. Likes flexible rulings over super strict RAW. Thinking of starting with a straightforward Fighter. Totally fine with voice chat and online tools. Prefers 3–4 hour sessions but is open to going longer if we take breaks every couple hours. Jourton (PST) Searching for a long-term D&D 3.5e campaign. Available 6 PM+ on or near weekends (especially Saturdays) and 9 AM–4 PM on weekdays. Solid commitment—shows up unless something unavoidable pops up. Experienced with 3.5e and good with most players as long as they're not disruptive. Prefers sticking close to the books but is open to some reasonable flexibility. Really into gestalt multiclassing for richer stories and better combat options. Elder Scrolls: Getting Sidetracked Using the UESTRPG Delvebound System for 5e During one of the great events in either 3 major games a band of ragtags are somewhere completely different on the map, they will be faced with the dangers present during these calamities and will be hearing about the main story as it goes on but they will always miss whenever THE PLAYER is around. they will see the destruction lain within their path and may even have to pick up the pieces. these won't just include the vanilla games, there will be some deep lore thrown in there (as much as the party wants, that is). whichever game it will take place in will be voted upon by the players.  I do expect this to be a fairily long campaign and im a very roleplay heavy dm with of course some moments of silly. Looking to run this with about 4 or 5 players at 3rd level (sorry) at 5pm Pst Saturday

Me and a friend have recently gotten into Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, but we don't have a GM for it. We're both decently knowledgeable on the setting, just new to the rules, someone more confident about that would be preferred. Other than that, we aren't picky. We are both already in a few other ttrpg games, so scheduling isn't super open, but most weekdays other than thursday and friday are an option. I am running a FFd20 (Based on Pathfinder with a few homebrew rules to make it more 3.5 like) Campaign. The campaign setting is essentially a fusion world of the worlds of FF 10, 9, 7, 6 and FF Tactics Advanced (uses the canon map as opposed to a custom layout). The game takes place in a tweaked version of the game worlds where an outsider being has overtuned the power of and over informed the villains of the MCs actions/locations. This results in the majority of the cast of those games dying. 20 years later, the survivors of those games have unified into a resistance group known as The Farthest Sun (Led by FFX characters as Spira's sun is the furthest from the planet). As a newly trained member of this group you are heading to your graduation when your fellow players meet up in the previously discussed location and something strange occurs. I'm allowing NEARLY any class from the FFD20 website, but some may be race locked or unavailable if they do not fit the setting of the 5 games that this campaign is based around.. I do have an option to allow races/classes from FF14 if one of those interest you... I am seeking 1 player, but I would be open to 2 should heavy interest be shown. Timeframe is flexible (11A MST being the earliest and 8PM being the latest the session could run) and the day is Saturday. Lemme know if interested.
