The Greek Job

Hey y'all! I'm a gm with about 8 years of experience looking for 2-4 people to join in on a Shadowrun 6e game that I plan to run soon. I've never run or played Shadowrun before, despite a lot of time trying, so a player who knows the game decently would be a great help. After this campaign of Shadowrun is done, I plan on moving onto another game, depending on what all of the players would like. Session 0 and character creation will be held on September 2nd between midnight and 4 am EST and games will be held weekly. The game will be held on discord and Foundry VTT. A good microphone and okay internet is required for playing, and a camera is a nice to have since I'll be turning mine on during the game. Thank you for reading this if you do and thank you even more if you decide that you'd like to play. If you are interested, please add me on discord at bigpapirojer . I'll try my best to have a very short interview with you before session 0 just to see if we vibe.

Where: Discord/Roll20 Seattle. 2073. You are a group of experienced shadowrunners who have made a name for yourselves in this corrupt city. For those who can afford it, you have already tipped the scales in local affairs a few times now. Your list of allies and enemies grows by the month. A Mr. Johnson who works for Ares Macrotechnology's local R&D department has approached you for a job. He wants his boss's position, and he needs your help doing it. The job? Infiltrate one of the AAA megacorp's testing facilities in the Cascade Mountains, steal the sole existing blueprints for a new weapon, escape, and turn them in to Mr. Johnson. Then he will play the hero once he produces the blueprints a week later, making his boss look massively incompetent in the process. It's a simple job. In and out. What could go wrong? -- This Shadowrun game presents a more streamlined version of the 4e rules to retain all the tactics, equipment, and buckets of dice that you've come to love. But at the same time, it's leaner and faster (and also less broken). If you wish to know more, the full rules are available here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1yyMJ9Xmd7rTAlt_0VMhCrAM1RgVQj6JiHhzABUqLEaE/edit?usp=sharing Rules will be taught in media res, though some SR experience is a plus. We will play for 60-90 minutes, take a 10-15 minute break once you make your plan, and then finish the rest of the 4-hour session. This is a one-shot playtest for a game I'll be running at a convention in a few weeks. Be aware that the rules are still in alpha, so there could be some roughness. But I assure you that these rules are still a lot smoother than the official ones. If you ever wanted to play Shadowrun but were put off by the official rules, this game is for you! If you're interested in playing, please apply here. We're still looking for a couple more players.

Travel Through the Looking Glass of Heart’s Desire. In this expanded version of The Wild Beyond the Witchlight, you are tasked with stepping beyond the veil into the realm of faerie to discover the fate of a domain’s enigmatic ruler. To survive this whimsical and shadowy plane, you must navigate fog shrouded swamps, primeval forests, and dramatic twilit peaks. You’ll strike deals with eccentric guides, find allies in unlikely places, and outwit a ruthless cabal of hags. From solving magical environmental puzzles and mastering the strict rules of fey etiquette to infiltrating hostile archfey courts and exposing a grand conspiracy, your party will conquer challenges through clever tricks, sharp wit, and bold diplomacy rather than simple brute force. This campaign begins with "The Wild Beyond the Witchlight" and expands into a bubbling cauldron of a witch cold war, where even the most legendary spellcasters can topple at any moment... $20/session. https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmuli7ww000d2jy04e4z9xyym?slug=cly4hl6oe0067fuv70a54yaqv
