One day ago, the railroad shut down. One hour ago, a strange, bare chested woman was seen blowing a horn before riding off into the night. One second ago, the town church burst into flames in the middle of service. No one knows if this is a regular old demonic possession or if there's something more sinister at hand, but one thing is for sure... No one is safe tonight. Character Options Prudence: A pious 18yo single girl. She has straight strands of straw colored hair, a pale complexion, and eyes the color of the sun at dawn. Having been raised in Raptio all her life, she's dying to get out and see the world she's read about in her books and scriptures. Joseph: A hardworking 24yo single man. He has brown auburn tufts of hair, a strong, tanned body, and eyes like the midday sky. He was born and raised in Raptio Peak and dreams to someday see his grandchildren running along the plains of green grass he planted and tended. Nike: A determined 53yo divorced woman. She has loose strands of salt and pepper hair, a toned, fit figure for her age, and eyes cold and black as the ocean. She has explored the better half of the Midwest and has decided to settle down here. She says it's because she can see the sunrise from where she lives. Winchester: An easygoing 40yo businessman. With a gleaming bald scalp, a rotund body, and a tiny, beady eyes, he's looks like a very stereotypical wealthy man. He's on a business trip and decided to stop in this town for the night, the night before the train broke down. Vibe: Grimdark, high fantasy, found family, dungeon crawl I'm looking for players who enjoy the tension of resource management and clever problem-solving over "face-tanking" monsters. Tone: I'm not going to say the tone will be intentionally comedic or serious, as I can understand that it can be difficult for people to successfully pull off either, so it's going to be more of a playing be ear of seeing what players I get and seeing where it goes, and hopefully having those funny or serious moments come organically rather than intentionally. Basically the PCs will own/be command staff on a huge starship with like 80k crew members. It’s a city in space. So big it will have two active alien invasions on board that have been ongoing on for generations within the lower decks. The party will have a warrant granted to them that says whatever they can claim (and hold onto) in a distant expanse of the milkyway they can keep. That means solar-systems, planets, populations, resources and riches. A star barony that they can pretty much run however they want or can all agree upon. As long as they pay their tithes/taxes to the Imperium. Races for PCs are pretty wide open. I’d allow an ork (probably a merc working for gear and teef). An aeldari (space elves), a grot could be fun. A farseer Tau firewarrior with a stealth battle suit. Kroot or ogryn is on the table. The rogue trader and navigator would have to be “human”, but the rest of the crew im open. The system uses percentile dice. Not my fav but we’ll make due. The themes in the game can be pretty heavy. Think of a bad thing in RL and there are races/planets/gods doing all that and probably more. We’ll steer clear of the absolute worst of it, but just a heads up it’s a very adult game. I would personally like to see the game run iconoclast with dabblings into imperial dogma and chaos heresy. id like to see the party try to help people/xenos of the expanse more than enslave/destroy them. Unless they leave you no choice that is then dakka-dakka away. A focus on power-building self-interest over extremist ideals. So I'm a completely new DM, I've never done this before. I was/am making a sci-fi D&D campaign and i wanna test run it! It has 10 sessions in-total (not counting session 0) I don't really know how long these sessions will take as I've never DM'ed before... 40% of combat is 5E, 60% of combat is homebrew It has quite a few homebrew elements most notable being: A ship customizable with module's that effect its stats. Some monsters thats it i think Oh and this campaign isn't the most serious thing but there are some moments you need to lock in. And there are some roles that me and my friend made, so you can think of what you wanna do (at the bottom) Idk where i need to put the world backstory so ima dump it here: (Ik it isn't much but i'll incorperate your backstory into here as best i can) Nagartah (neptune-ish planet) A quiet ice/water giant, nothing special happens here. It has a history of being invaded, but the invaders often quickly leave after seeing there is nothing of value here, or at least thats what they think. There are some gaint Lithium vains that are of significant value, and propels the very few civilizations that live here to incredible tech levels. Thats also why most cyborgs are from here. Jaguda (juipiter-ish planet) There's not much to say about Jaguda, all there is that giant space station that quite an amount of people live on but thats just it Urath (earth-ish planet) A planet with a huge history, I'd rather not go into all the war-crimes that happened during the countless wars that happened here... But it is the most basic planet so idk Luna (Moon-ish Moon) Its a fu##### moon, what do you want me to write about this place? Only real thing is that there is a treaty to not touch/land/do nything on this planet to preserve its natural beauty? Okay the Urath goverment must be on some Star-high dust like B#### WHAT DO YOU MEAN NATURAL BEAUTY THERE'S NOTHING Idra (-ish Planet) Idra is an extremely cold place that is any miners dream, many ores, soft rock, and big caves! But the surface it pretty much un-livable due to the -120 degree C0 winds. Except a giant group of penguins don't agree with this basic common thought and made a civilization here. While they may have a giant fleet, penguins are clumsy yk? Avonria (-ish Moon) On of the 2 big population centers, while the majority of the population might be in EXTREME poverty. The higher-ups and government are insanely rich and posses the strongest ship known to the universe! One half of the planet is a gaint dessert, and the other one an overrun city. And don't worry, the elites are high above in their space station! Dawntor (-ish Moon) Not a big moon with alot of people, but it is the most uniqe! As this is one of the few places where magic is a normal thing, most people that see this are baffeld and suprised that that is real! So ships/parts from here are often interwoven with magic and this planet is the only way to get shields on a ship. And no I see you reading this, if your born on this plant you automtically get magic skills, even without learning! But for others its quite hard, but possible! Especially when they've spent some time on the planet it-self. Experts say this comes from 3 pillars, but come on, who believes them? From random bandit number 5, to an awakened deer that figured out how to pray. The road to earning your place among Gloranthas legendary heroes will not be an easy, or quick one, but it will be a fun one. In terms of game structure it will be less of one singular long plot and more several isolated 2-5 session adventures, with a healthy cast of recurring NPC's, and lots of player backstory content mixed in. Heya! I’m Marlow (17, They/Them) and I’m honestly looking for a group and DM whose willing to let me join their table! At this time, I’m unfortunately only free on Tuesdays which I know is a bit of an awkward time, but I at least wanted to try! Hello! We are a tight-knit group of 6 very experienced D&D Players who are looking for a DM to run the module Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen! We are wanting to play on Thursdays from 3pm-7pm CDT (GMT-5). There may be some wiggle room but we are pretty set on this as its the consensus that had been reached for 6 people, a feat already hard enough as it is. I’m building a DnD campaign set in a brutal volcanic civilization called the Krythari—where rulers are chosen by surviving a descent into a dragon-filled chasm. The story centers on a lost tomb known as the Hall of High Kings, where every ruler has been buried since the first twin kings, who were personally anointed by a dragon god. Something has gone wrong: dragons have stopped judging, and the ancient rite is failing. The players are sent to find the Hall and recover a relic called “The Heart of the First Flame”—a living piece of divine power that originally bound dragons and humans together. The twist: the Hall isn’t just lost—it moves deep within the earth—and the relic may reveal that the Krythari have become too stable… and no longer worthy. The campaign is built around survival, worthiness, and the question: Should a civilization based on deadly trials even continue to exist?

This will be a one-shot for beginners, great for anyone who wants to try out Ishanekon: World Shapers. We will play on the 24th of April, 22:00 (CET) You are part of the Storytellers, a multiversal organization of characters that know that they are fictional and serve the narrator to ensure that stories go as planned. You will be sent to a world created in the narrator's childhood, which is currently showing signs of great instability. Your job is to go there, find out what is happening, and fix the problem if possible. The game will offer a mix of combat and social interactions. It will take about two hours. Since this is a multiversal setting, you can play pretty much whatever you want. Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Super Heroes, something more mundane, etc. The only restriction is that they cannot be bigger than the size category big (2 m x 2m x 4 m), and they cannot be evil (morally grey is allowed). I am more than okay with new players and happy to teach what I know, since I’ve been playing for almost ten years now! I've been a DM before and used the same campaign setting; I loved it but never got to finish due to scheduling issues.  What I’m looking for: 5-6 players, LGBTQ friendly is a MUST (you don’t need to be in the community, just an ally), 21 years or older, any skill level, any gender. Homebrew races and classes are allowed so long as they’re run by me first. We will be starting at level 5, multiclassing is allowed! Location/Time: Phoenix, AZ. Will be held at Gamer’s Guild in the Phoenix location every other Saturday, time TBD but in the afternoon/evening. No-Gos: Under 18 years old are absolutely not permitted. Between 18 and 21 may be considered based on needs and comfort of the group, but it makes me personally uncomfortable because of the age gap.  -Any harassment of or fighting out of character with other players will be grounds for removal.  -Consent is key - Flirting in character is fine, so long as everyone is comfortable with it. No means no. Adult, questionable, and/or steamy scenes will fade to black at the table, but outside roleplay is welcome between players. -Due to a deeply ingrained piece of lore and several plot lines, players are restricted from playing any Underdark races. The Setting: high fantasy, high magic world with multiple developed countries/nations including their own lore, laws, and demographics. Much of this campaign will take place in a region that’s been heavily magically altered and even corrupted. Though most regions are a melting pot of all races, many originate from one location or another, so the race you play may determine where your character was born or where they have family. Legends say that there used to be dragons just roaming about, living peacefully amongst mortal races, seen flying overhead on the daily. But for around 500 years, true dragon sightings have been a rarity, and only the golden dragon has been spotted in that time. The Plot: For as long as even the eldest elves can remember, Ipica has been split into three regions, each stuck in a separate time and space. And for just as long, scholars have tracked the slow creep of corruption twisting the eastern shores of the land. There’s historical writings of something called the World Tree hidden deep within Eastern Ipica - could it be involved somehow? Now that the crawling, strangling vines and chilling shadows have reached the edges of major and minor cities alike, local and national governments have decided that something needs to be done about it. But legislators aren’t equipped to run into what used to be wild fae land and is now something much more confusing and unknown - that’s where our adventurers come in. Trekking through bone-chilling lands populated by things seen just out of the corner of your eye, fighting previously unimagined horrors and keeping each other alive in the dark winter of Eastern Ipica… It all takes incredible skill and trust in your fellow man. But how can you trust anyone when you’ve seen what these wilds are capable of producing? This is up to the players and the decisisions they make.   Tone: PG-13ish. I tend to run a game similar in tone to Pirates of the Caribbean. Moments of drama, action, and some sillyness. Nothing ever gets to violent or dark, but the world is dark. If and when those moments are approached a gentle fading will occur and we'll move on. Everyone can assume what happens but nothing graphic will be played out. Plot: Every winter, the forest spawns these creatures that attack the town. But, receiving the blessing of the everflame from the forest crypt keeps the creatures away from the town.  As a player you have been chosen to bring back the everflame from the crypt in the forest. This is a beginner friendly game. I want to introduce players to EZD6 and I am running a modified version of Crypt of the Everflame. Even if you have played Crypt of the Everflame before, this campaign doesn't follow the module 100% and will just more or less pay homage to it as a foundational structure. First Session will be a Session 0.5. I have pregens available, but will give a little bit of time to customize them, go over the mechanics of the system, and then get into the action. Hello friends and neighbors. I'm here because I'm recruiting for a brand new, long-running low-to-high fantasy adventure in an original setting. Players will take the role of fledgling adventurers, normal, everyday people called by circumstance or wanderlust to embark upon the journey of a lifetime. They'll cross through strange lands, become embroiled in quests of earth-shaking importance, meet strange and wondrous people and most of all, become who they were meant to be. Think Frieren, Witch Hat Atelier, Name of the Wind, or the video game Wildermyth if you want an idea of the aesthetic inspirations. The story will begin in the sleepy town of Drecorshire, a rustic village out in the woods that's about to have a very, very strange visitor pass through. As for where it'll go from there... well, you don't want me to spoil the surprise! A bit about myself: I'm 28 years old, he/him, and I'm an author and game writer with over a decade of DM experience, most of it online. I've run a variety of systems, from good old 5e to Pathfinder to WoD to PTBA to Godbound to Cain to Blades in the Dark and so on. I love storytelling and worldbuilding and collaborating with players to tell long, emotional and intensive stories that surprise and delight us all. For this game, we'll be running Legend in the Mist, a fiction-first fantasy roleplaying game that focuses on the use of Tags to allow players to define their characters and capabilities. This system allows for really robust and detailed character customization and I'm so excited to see what people come up with it! If you've never played it before, that's totally fine. Normally I operate on a three-strike rule for no-call no shows, but I reserve the right to give people the boot earlier than that if there's a pattern of disrespect for the other players' time. I run long games that meet consistently, and I'm able to do that because I'm kind of ruthless about this stuff. All player characters will start the game as more or less ordinary humans, though there's a little wiggle room for 'human with some innate mystical characteristics' if you want. If you find that limiting, I understand, but I would also offer for your consideration that all the most interesting people I've ever met are humans, and you are too. Player characters will begin the campaign as fairly mundane people, not seasoned warriors or adventurers - think farm boys, amateur alchemists, petty conjurers, hedge squires, good women of the woods, noble's daughters run away in search of adventure, that sort of thing. That's not to say they can't be older or have seen a thing or two, only that they ought to have room to grow. More information about the world will be forthcoming, but for now you can consider it to be a very hazy, vibes-based big tent fantasy setting with quite a lot in it. I love incorporating player ideas into my worldbuilding, so as you consider your character, brainstorm away! Be creative! (Within the bounds of the rules above established, natch.) I'm really nice. That's not really a rule, I just wanted to get it in there, I pride myself on being a very chill, calm and approachable person. Looking for older player, in person. GM and other players are 40s and early 50s. Younger players are fine, but have had issues with some in the past. Game is once every three weeks. 4-6 hours. Use HackMaster system from Kenzer and Company.

This will be a classic game using the module for Keep on The Borderlands with Old School Essentials. All experience levels are welcome
