What I can bring to the table: Interesting and unique characters, very active in the game I like interacting with things whether it be other players or NPC's, a team player I know how to share the spotlight, pretty good at improvisation, very good at staying in character, hilarious jokes when the time is right for it of course, willingness to learn new systems and lore, willingness to make new friends, and lots of free time to play. Stuff I'm not great at (should be at least a little transparent): I'm not a voice actor so my range is very limited, I've got ADHD and autism if that's a problem, I can take notes if I have to but they probably won't be all that great at least compared to others, I may ask a lot of questions if I don't understand something, and I do stutter sometimes when I can't think of anything. Other stuff: I'm african american, AroAce, I luv dad jokes, Fantasy is my favorite genre, I'm currently writing book, my pronouns are He/Him but I enjoy playing female characters, I’ve kept every stuffed animal I’ve ever owned, I luv watching cartoons, and I'm obsessed with gacha games but will never spend a dime of real money on them because screw that.

I'm Nick, I'm a 32yo male/AMAB non-binary person, with a few years of experience playing D&D 3.5, D&D 5.0, and CoC 7th. I'm a little burnt out on those (mostly D&D/high fantasy) so I'd prefer to play a different system, but I'm not against those systems if the campaign is appealing enough. I'm open-minded, intelligent, and a quick learner so picking up new systems is pretty easy for me. The systems that appeal to me the most right now are Mutants & Masterminds, Cyberpunk, Mothership, Kult, Unknown Armies, any World/Chronicles of Darkness system, or any obscure or homebrew horror system (any setting with heavy horror). My ideal group would consist of people around my age but I'll play with anyone 18+. I'm friendly and get along with pretty much everyone, and have thick skin so I don't mind banter, darker themes, or adult content. LGBTQIA+ friendly (obviously lol), female friendly, POC friendly. I'm also not going to get too antsy if we get a little derailed from play sometimes, especially with goofier groups, but I love serious play just as much. Currently looking to play weekly on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday, during evenings/nights. Saturdays are undesirable at the moment but if I really love the campaign idea I can make the time for it. Wednesdays are going to be difficult for me at the moment and may be outright unavailable soon. Cannot play Tuesday afternoon or Sunday nights. Long term campaigns are ideal. I'm a pretty dedicated player, I rarely miss sessions. Any VTT is fine (I love Foundry), theater of the mind is also fine. I'm not a big fan of Roll20 but I'll use it if I have to lol. I have and use Discord regularly. I also would pefer not to be on cam, but I do have a webcam. However I do not want to be recorded so skip me if you're running on a stream, youtube recording, podcast, etc. I love creating characters (especially flawed characters) so I usually have several character ideas for multiple systems either ready-to-play or brewing, even for systems I've ever played (such as M&M 3e, Unknown Armies, Kult, etc). I'm flexible enough to stick with RAW or go full homebrew, I will always work with the DM to ensure that my character is suitable for their campaign, especially if we dive into heavy homebrew. I generally prefer not to min/max but I'm not against it, I just find flawed characters (mechanical and flavor) to be far more interesting and fun to play. I don't meta game, backseat game, rules lawyer, and I don't have main character syndrome (if anything I'm a little shy of the limelight). I can also handle bad outcomes and character death, I believe that's just part of the storytelling aspect of TTRPGs. I love roleplay, combat, exploration, puzzle solving, pretty much every aspect of TTRPGs so I'm generally comfortable with any ratio. I also sometimes to photo-manipulation/digital collage art, drawn art (digital and traditional), etc for my character, other characters, campaigns, but I'm not very good at it (yet). Usually this is for comedic effect or out of necessity. I also do art and writing outside of TTRPG play. Not interested in play-by-post or paid games, sorry.

Long-time player going back to AD&D and Shadowrun 2nd Edition. I’m getting more into the rhythm of GMing and really enjoying it. Hello, there! I am a veteran player (38-years-old) who switched to D&D 5.5 ever since its release and has played sessions weekly (even multiple times a week). My window of availability is between 6 AM and 11:30 AM, and between 2 PM and 10:30 PM, CET times. I like exploration and all kinds of discoveries. I enjoy RP the most when it furthers the characters, the campaign's story or both. I like combat especially when it mixes in interesting mechanics and objectives, and when I can be creative in my descriptions and my actions. I love overcoming challenges, whatever form they take, through teamwork and preparation. I like believable character actions, because I value immersion a lot, which is why I generally prefer a serious tone over a silly one. Jokes are more than fine, but I much prefer it when they don't undercut tense and emotional moments. As a player, I'm committed, invested in the story and a note-taker, I gravitate the most towards themes related to morality, knowledge/lore and creativity/art, I take my time to gather information and strategize, and I'm good-aligned pretty much always. I never come into a campaign with a clear idea on what character to play, as I very much enjoy trying to weave species, class, concept and backstory with the campaign's world, letting the latter inspire character creation itself. So I tend to ask some questions after I join a new game, to get a better idea and then decide, with an eye on party composition as well. As a person, I'm a big believer in fairness, I'm as anti-toxicity as it gets, and I'm respectful, inclusive, punctual and communicative.

I love the silly moments in serious sessions (as long as they are not overly distracting) and the serious moments in silly sessions. I am happy to teach some things I learnt along the way to unexperienced players. I am generally quite open to almost everything, as long as I'm capable of roleplaying without obstacles (EX. no play by post). Epic storytelling always comes first. Rules provide structure and help create uncertainty, tension, and memorable moments, but they should serve the story rather than overshadow it. My worlds strive for realism and internal consistency, yet they never lose sight of the fantasy at the heart of the game: you are heroes, and your actions matter. When running combat, I focus on pace, narration, and excitement. Battles should feel dynamic, dramatic, and easy to picture, not like a series of mechanical transactions. I'm an 18-year-old player from Mexico getting back into D&D after being away from the game for a couple of years. I've played full campaigns before, and I'm looking for a group where I can have a good time, get invested in the game, and hopefully meet some interesting people along the way. As a player, I'm pretty much a mix of roleplay, combat, exploration, and problem-solving. I particularly enjoy good roleplay and letting characters develop naturally through the situations that happen in the game. I also enjoy roleplaying between sessions, whether that's talking with other players, developing character relationships, or just discussing things that happened in the campaign. I'm not particularly good at doing voices or "acting" my characters, but I don't mind trying. How much I get into a character depends a lot on who I'm playing. I prefer having the freedom to make each character feel different rather than having one fixed way of roleplaying. I'm generally a pretty easygoing player. I like games that are fun and immersive, but I don't expect everything to be taken extremely seriously. I'm also quite happy to let other players have their moments and to see where the game naturally goes rather than trying to force a particular outcome. I'm not a fan of people being overly rigid about the rules, constantly correcting the DM, or trying to impose their ideas on everyone else's characters or the story. I also prefer character relationships to develop naturally between the players rather than having someone decide what *must* happen between characters. And while I'm fine with mature themes, I'm not looking for a game where NSFW content is the main focus. For the DM, my main priority is honestly pretty simple: make it fun. I appreciate a DM who gives players room to make meaningful choices, has a world we can get invested in, and isn't afraid to improvise when things inevitably go in an unexpected direction. I'm also autistic and colorblind, and English is my second language. None of these stop me from playing, but I prefer people to know beforehand. I may occasionally need something clarified in English, and color-dependent information on maps or character sheets can sometimes be difficult for me to distinguish. Overall, I'm just looking for a friendly group where people can enjoy the game together without taking themselves too seriously. I'm open to pretty much any setting, theme, or style of campaign as long as everyone is there to have a good time.

I love roleplay-heavy campaigns, but combat is still a vital part of the game to me. I especially enjoy long campaigns with detailed world-building where the player characters feel like a part of the world and story. I like dark themes and corrupt governments a lot, so if your game has both, I am SAT! But I'm also down for a more lighthearted experience as long as the dm can still put my character through all sorts of trials and tribulations (emotionally or physically). Hi! I'm a newbie to TTRPG and I would very much like to get a hang of it. I'm an adult - late 20's of age, and I'm basically just tryna get into this new hobby. Everything is yet new for me, so I'm basically an empty cup who would like to get into it as much as possible. Someone/some group who would be very much fond to show me the ropes as we go. Other things to note: -I'm also a digital/watercolor artist, yes i like drawing 🎨 -Preferential to small communities cause I don't flourish enough in big servers/communities (in general sense) -Preferential to Homebrew as I still study further down to D&D, I don't mind long campaigns as well. -My flavors of RP are cozy fantasy, adventures, comedic and along those lines. I don't mind discovering other "genres" as long as within my piqued interest.

Hi there! I'm a mature player looking for a game with people who love the comraderie of roleplay. I enjoy a game that is heavy RP balanced with combat, problem solving, political intrigue, travel, survival or whatever aspects the GM wants to put our merry band up against. I'm in your world now. I love homebrews and I'm looking for a sandbox game with an experienced GM who understands and values player agency. Play Style: I'm serious about having fun. I'm low maintenance and I fit well into most groups that are focused on the campaign at hand. I'm a stickler about showing up on time to every session. I put a good effort into making my characters as much fun for the GM and other players are they are for me. I'm not much of a min/maxer. I don't know the powerful builds as I tend to add to my characters in a manner consistent with their back story. I write modest back stories and try to include multiple hooks that the GM might choose to use somewhere along the road. I prefer to see a good story or interesting outcome rather than fuss over rules. I tend to get in character and stay in character for an entire session. Don't ask me for a character concept until I have some understanding of the campaign lore. I like to create characters that feel part of the world. Themes: I'm interested in traditional fantasy, can be low or high magic. My favourite fantasy authors are Tolkien and Guy Gavriel Kaye. I am going to give a hard pass on horror or modern settings. Experience: I was first introduced to DnD5e online at the front end of the pandemic and have played multiple games since then. I have GMed homebrews in 5e on several occasions, but my first choice now and forever is to participate as a member of the party. I prefer Foundry VTT, but I have participated in past games using Roll20 and DndBeyond. I have fairly in depth knowlege of the inner workings of FVTTv12/13. I have my own Foundry server currently running v14 with no particular end in mind. Prefered Times: I'm in Ontario Canada (UTC-4) and would prefer games that were afternoons or evenings local time. North American games or evening UK/EU games can fit my schedule nicely. I'm available any day except Thursday. My ideal schedule would be a weekly game of at least 3-4 hours. I'm not adverse to longer sessions, provided we have appropriate intermissions. My Setup: I have a nice quiet office and professional studio quality audio chain. I don't use a web cam. I have a beefy computer and fibre internet to my desk. Objective: I'm looking forward to meeting new people, making new online friends and either joining a fresh campaign or fitting in to one already in progress. Playstyle - I like a more roleplay focused table but also enjoy combat as well. I have built lots of characters that have deep backstory but also have cool stuff for combat. Experience - I have not played yet but I have made lots of characters and are very excited to put them to use. I have also watched a people play D&D on YouTube but I understand that it won't be exactly like that. Time - I can pretty much do anytime after 2pm on any day of the week except Monday I have lots of different characters of all classes that I've created but I also have no problem making new ones to better match the world that's been created or that better matches the party. As such, I have a broad background in painting, video editing, motion design, and general graphic design. As both a player and a DM, I try to foster a space where people can explore characters, builds, or worlds without pressure to roleplay or be "in character" if they are not comfortable. I've run two campaigns in a homebrew setting, as well as a couple of modules, and I've played in 4 different multi-year campaigns.

I pride myself on being able to effectively fill any necessary role that the party may need. Diving into the roleplay and being able to uncover backstories, converse over the mysteries presented in the game narrative, and explore the world in an often unique fashion. Giving a character some depth is fun for me, as people often want their character to be more than stats on a sheet but in my experience they often don't know how to do so. I try to find ways to do that with people so that they might enjoy their experience more.

Hello, I’m Dirk and I'm 31. I'm looking for a game! I mainly enjoy roleplay, discovery, politics, and open exploration when it comes to TTRPGs. I haven't yet had the chance to play 5.5, but I'd be willing to learn. I'd like a DM who is alright with homebrew, but it isn't completely necessary, especially if I can find someone willing to run Curse of Strahd! I am a total theater kid, and a player who is all about roleplay and having moments with other PCs and your NPCs. I get really invested in character relationships and love to see how they grow and change during the course of the game. I like playing social characters and can be active when I need to, but enjoy sitting back when someone is having their moments and adding onto them if my character is welcome and relevant in the moment. If you all end up being alright with homebrew and the concept doesn’t sound too crazy, I’ve made a prince who grew up isolated 1,000s of miles away from his kingdom, deep in the mountains after a hag foretold that he was fated to suffer an untimely death. His family is now in ruin, and people suffer after his uncle inherited the throne. After the passing of his teacher, there now isn’t much left keeping him from doing something about it, but he’ll need to improve himself, gain allies, and build up an army before he thinks about setting foot in his family’s kingdom and stopping his uncle. I get it if this is a little too much, and I would be willing to work with you to change things or come up with a different character altogether if needed, though. Howdy-ho fellow story lovers! I’ve been playing D&D 5/5.5e for the past 5 years or so and am looking to experience other worlds & systems. Open to any systems/genres, including all D&D Editions. Hoping for those with patience as I learn a new system & its rules. I have D&D games Monday/Wednesday nights & Tuesday nights. As such, I’d like to do something on Fridays or Saturdays to spread them out a bit throughout the week, but also open to Thursday. Sunday is a hard no due to other commitments. I’m comfortable with Foundry & regularly use Discord. I also have several sets of dice - too many, really 😅 - so if we don't use a VTT, I should be set there. Trying to get back into being a DnD player again. Currently run a DnD 5.5e custom campaign for some friends and it has made me yearn to be a player again lol. Pretty laid back if there are any questions feel free to ask. Editions Im comfortable playing in order are 5E 5.5E and 3.5E. Also most of the time willing to play any class or multiclass that the party needs so always willing to work to work with what's best for the party and will not be a spotlight hog everyone needs to have there moments. In flexible with play days but it will mostly come down to when the start time is due to my work life so mostly weekdays would have to be after 5pm est and weekends is any time est Also not really looking for paid per session games money is tight plus the few times I did join those types it was not what I was looking for so no dnd and lost money

Hey, I've never played a full campaign of DnD. Only a few sessions. Looking for a group that meets Friday/Saturday nights. Flexible with frequency. Weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly would be fine with me. Only looking to play online but open to playing offline if there's a cool local group. Not really familiar with the different kinds of systems so I just searched some of the IPs I'm interested in and selected those. Open to any kind of RPG format. I've listened to a few DnD podcasts like One Piece DnD, Dungeons and Daddies, One Piece DnD (Marines), etc. I like monster catcher stuff like Pokemon and Palworld. Anime like One Piece, Naruto, Solo Leveling, etc. is cool too. Some other games I like are Fallout (3, NV, and 4) and Elden Ring. I'm also a Marvel/DC superhero nerd, Spiderman being my favorite. I've dabbled in D&D but never had the chance to complete a campaign (it usually fizzled out due to life and scheduling conflicts), so im definitely looking forward to exploring my characters and the worlds around them. I love role-playing, story and character immersion/developement, descriptions of all kinds (buildings, landscape, features on a person or object, the magical effects someone has, etc) and combat! I love a good story/character-driven campaign with a nice helping of combat. I dont have much experience with the different systems;. The ones ive dabbled in are 3.5, 5e and Pathfinder, but I am certainly willing to learn and play other systems, including Homebrew.
