Hey! I'm looking for a Cyberpunk Red group to play online with. I have two years of experience with ttrpgs (dnd 2024), and a couple of sessions of Cyberpunk Red behind my back. And I'm really hungry for more! I'm really a planning, thinking, writing down and weighting out a decision kind of player. Looking forward to playing a campaign (I understand if you make like a test trial one-shot to see how it plays out). I can make a character tailored for your campaign/other party members, but I would prefer playing solo, which I really enjoyed before. The reason for me posting here in the first place is that my friends group wants to wrap things up with Cyberpunk, while I really want to play more (and I'm the most hungry for ttrpgs in my friends group in general). I'm also kind of a book nerd, I've read the book probably three times by now (excluding the lore, I'm a fan of the universe of the Cyberpunk, but actually reading through stories is hard for me, since, well, reasons...), mostly focusing on mechanics and the playable content part. And I'll warn you in advance about two things: Cyberpunk isn't that flexible, in my opinion, but I do tend to min max sometimes (when it doesn't hurt the narration). English is not my first language, my level is a solid C1 (fluency, I'm typing this out without any tools), but I do have somewhat of an Eastern European accent and can stuble over my words under pressure. Hello there! I am Aevan. I recently graduated as a Bachelor of Engineering, Majoring in Electronics. I like buttermilk, dark chocolate and apples. I am always serial crafting one concept before leaping to another worldbuilding, neither of them bearing any similarity beyond their unfinished state and their existence in my synapses. Those rare few lucky enough to get incarnated unto txt files and word docs are few and far between. And they, too, bear the mark of incompleteness despite the level of "corporeality" they may have managed to ascend to. I am a DnD 5e foreverGM looking to indulge myself as a player. The rare times I do get to play, my class of choice may range from purely relativistic melee to Spellswords. I usually play as Intrigue or Detective sorts, with high sink in Int & Wis stats, at times synergizing with abilities like Grim Psychometry or spells like Legend Lore. I do enjoy a good mindless Barbarian or a "I hit 3 times at a row" Human Fighter every now and then, as you do. I am very green to many systems, and while I intend to learn as I go, I do hope my newbie shenanigans, combined by the inner Player finally being released unto a sandbox, will prove to be very little nuisance to the rest of my fellow players. 41 year old guy here and after a long hiatus from ttrpgs, I'm hoping to get back into them. I used to be a forever DM (adnd 2.5, some 3rd ed, some shadowrun 3rd and 4th). I haven't played in while but when I DMed I ran a homebrew world that lasted for several campaigns over the course of almost 10 years and spanned several charector parties. Hi I'm Kenny (25M), I've been a TTRPG player for a year now. I've also tried my hand at GM-ing a Cyberpunk Red campaign and it was more trouble than it's worth. I'm basically a beginner at D&D as my group switched systems to Fate after a few months of starting, but I did like the structure D&D provides. I don't have a preference for the system as each have their own charm. I am available every day of the week post 5pm CET except Fridays. I am reliable when it comes to sessions and won't miss any without a valid reason. I enjoy character building and some serious roleplay. I'm alright with jokes as long as they do not ruin an emotional moment. I prefer character bonding and RPing together rather than each individual doing their own thing and others having to follow. There also needs to be a serious threat of the character dying as without it players (typically me) tend to go on silly tangents which do not contribute much to the story (basically, keep me in check). Overall I do prefer the RP over combat. I hope to find an non-toxic, easygoing and reliable group, and a DM who is not too strict with the rules.

Hey, I'm Carn. I have about 6 years of TTRPG experience on both sides of the table across a small handful of systems. My schedule is fairly free currently, so I'm not especially picky about timeframe or game frequency. I tend to enjoy creating characters tied to already existing structures within the world in order to both work with the DM to flesh out a central region or organization of the campaign and anchor that character to a set of themes and locales that will likely be relevant to the campaign. I'm bigger on roleplay than combat, though I have no qualms with combat. I have no problem with character death so long as it is established as a possible threat from the getgo.

I'm a very creative person and like to get involved with many different media that I find interesting. I have a deep love for complex characters and rich worlds, and I am often the most involved in campaigns. When it comes to playing D&D, or really any type of TTRPG; I am most in my element when roleplaying. I tend to not like combat if it lacks any flare or story importance. I have been roleplaying for 7+ years and I'm very good at staying in character. Seperating player from character is important for me as I don't wish to give the wrong impression to someone by acting unlike myself, so I always keep open communication. I'm as open as a person can be. Communication is KEY to the structure of any group and I respect that rule above all else. My humor can be brash and may leave someone uncomfortable. In such a case, I prioritize keeping an open mind, so if someone has an issue, I am notified and understanding of their wishes. Along with that, I also prioritize communication with the DM. Player to DM communication allows me to properly convey what I want for my character and vice versa with what the DM wants. Lastly, it's important to know that all my characters come pre-made. I have a variety listed below ranging from complex characters with detailed backstories to ideas with little background. On the grander scale, I offer a large pool of information that can be used as extra content when the campaign is slowing down. These tie directly to my character and their progression. As the DM, you are free to work with me on the information that I offer. Not everything I write will fit exactly with your campaign, and there may be things that you wish to change. Talk to me. My roots are in book-based roleplay and written fiction, so character voice, motivation, and internal consistency matter a lot to me. I carry that same approach to the table. My TTRPG experience is honest but specific. I've played a handful of One Piece-themed D&D homebrew one-shots and two proper D&D sessions, so I'm genuinely newer to true tabletop compared to some. That said, I'm currently active in a living campaign built on a hybrid D&D 5e, Pathfinder 2e, and Naruto 5e ruleset, and I've picked things up fast. I'm not afraid to ask questions, and I do the reading. Lately, i've been interested in trying Cyberpunk Red I also have special needs that can make processing dense information a bit slower. It has never stopped me from being a full, committed player, but I wanted to be upfront about it. Playstyle: Roleplay-first. I build characters from the inside out, starting with a concept, a voice, and a reason for existing in the world. I enjoy mechanical depth and I'm not against combat, but what keeps me at the table is character work, political texture, and a story that rewards investment. Morally complex scenarios are a plus. Hello! I'm Dex, I'm 24, and I'm looking to hopefully join some people for some D&D! I'd prefer a game in the AM EST, and I can be available on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. As for me as a player, I've been playing for a little over a decade now, but I still wouldn't consider myself a veteran in any way. I love getting into character, participating in the world that is set before me, participating in further other player's character's story lines, and working as a team. My absolute favorite things about the game are watching characters grow and flourish, becoming invested in PC and NPC story lines, and role playing with others. I've mostly played D&D 5e, but I've also played a handful of other systems. I enjoy a 70/30 split between role play and combat, and I love when combat furthers the story in some way. Combat is amazing, but RP is where the most fun lies for me. I can be flexible with classes, preferring Wizard, Paladin, Warlock, Ranger, Rogue, or Cleric. iv done tabletop with friends before and always was the GM. i even tried to run my own textbased game but could never keep those alive, people eventually just stopped responding even after multiple reminders its their turn in combat. so im looking to be a player this time instead. im fine with both roll20 and discord text play or a öove gameplay deal over roll 20 or similar sites. the three characters i can for DND offer are: -a kobold demolitionist (comic relief obsessed with explosives. this guy would use a more explosives focused subclass for artificer i found on reddit if thats ok with your game) -a tribal tabaxi guy with spear who moves fast and haresses enemies in melee (this character is very cruel and would be only suited to serious games) -a harengon geomancer (this guy would only use earth and stone themed spells and im partial to reflavoring existing spells as earth ones) for other settings i usually have one character per setting. NOTE: im not interested in character creation involving rolled stats i dont like rng deciding my stats i prefer pointbuy.

I enjoy a bit of excitement in my games, I really like the roleplaying aspect and tend to play a bit chaotically but in favor of the group, and find fighting to be quite fun too! I also enjoy hearing the story and setting and seeing how the story rolls out with each choice and consequence made. I also tend to try to go for whatever makes me laugh the most, so if I see something that I deem as sufficiently funny theres a strong chance my character will fling towards it (unless it kills me, but even then I would find it funnier) I hope we get along well!

Hi! All told, I only have about a year of experience playing and GMing, and it's been a looong time, so I'm sure I'm quite rusty. My time zone is CST and my schedule is open. I have no strong preferences when it comes to frequency of sessions, system, or setting. Back when my friends and I actively played, I mostly GMed, using DnD 3.0/3.5, with a little Spycraft on the side. Even though that was years ago, I've never stopped thinking about RPGs, listening to actual play podcasts like The Adventure Zone and Acquisitions, Inc., reading random supplements and forum posts, and playing video games based on tabletop systems/adventures. I love backstory, lore, and worldbuilding and enjoy combat and dungeoncrawling, too. I remember my very first RPG session, when I was a kid, immediately opened my eyes to the creativity and improvisation that the format allows. All I'd done in our first battle was ready my weapon and lightly wound an unlucky bandit... while the far more experienced players of the group spent their first few turns positioning themselves technically, slinging buffs and debuffs, and throwing a tarp over the intimidating-as-hell bandit leader and then setting it ablaze with a torch. I was astounded; I knew I had to have more. The Discworld and Hitchhiker's Guide series of books are dear to me, though I'm down for nearly any fantastical story and setting (much like Pratchett and Adams themselves). Potentially relevant-to-tabletop video game series I've enjoyed are The Witcher, Knights of the Old Republic, Fallout, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, The Elder Scrolls, Divinity, Baldur's Gate, Final Fantasy, World of Warcraft, Legend of Grimrock, and many more. I like to let other players choose their specializations first, so I can try to fill any gaps we have, then build the character's background and motivation from there. That way, everyone who really wants to play a specific role is happy and the group as a whole is well-rounded. Plus, it's just fun to mix things up from game to game, so I've never really had a favorite class, though I do enjoy playing support (gotta have a healer/medic!). If you have the patience to help me shake off the rust and adapt to your setting and system, I'll do as much or as little reading, roleplaying, and rolling as you need. Ugh, this is really starting to sound like a sales pitch, ha ha... sorry. I'll finish by simply saying that I'm excited to meet you and see what adventures you've got brewing!

33M, EST time zone I enjoy engaging with themes of "no good guys", moderate to extreme horror and flawed but earnest characters. I love roleplaying and usually build sheets to reflect a character concept or personality instead of optimized stats. I'm not interested in NSFW roleplay but I will engage with NSFW themes if they fit the game setting. I'm happy to tailor my character concepts and degree of gory detail to whatever the rest of the table is comfortable with. Most of my roleplay experience has been text based or play by post, but I've also played and helped run several campaigns both online and in person that lasted anywhere from months to 2+ years. I have a learning disability that makes math and learning new rulesets difficult (dyscalculia) but I do my best to compensate for it through cheat sheets and reference cards I make for myself. It's a me problem but a little patience while I learn is greatly appreciated. World of Darkness is the setting I have the most experience with, particularly Mage20, Vampire20, and the By Night Studios LARP system. I have a general understanding of WH40K and have read some of the ttrpg sourcebooks but my play experience is limited to some of the video games and a few novels (Rogue Trader, Darktide, Mechanicus, the Night Lords trilogy, Infinite and the Divine). I am tentatively open to systems not specifically tagged but would prefer to avoid DnD (any edition), Daggerheart, Fate, and Apocalypse World/PbtA. Other non-ttrpg favorites include Destiny/Destiny 2, Mistborn, splatterpunk fiction, the Cthulhu mythos, and Murderbot Diaries. I am generally available between 5 to 10pm American EST on Mondays and Wednesday-Friday but there is some variability on Fridays, as I run my own game on that day once or twice a month.
