I am a male teenager, named Tamao, 14 but mature enough, looking to play some DND 5e. Not 5.5e. I have a decent bit of experience with 5e, knowing most of the rules, although my home group does not do much roleplay, but I am willing and wanting to learn. I would most like to participate in oneshots, as I feel a tad akward with consistent long campaigns due to my previously mentioned lower experience with roleplay and slight anxiety. I prefer a more challenging game, with decent chances of at least being downed, if not killed, and am not looking for a game that is pure roleplay. I mainly play wizards, though enjoy all spellcasters, martials like the Barbarian and Fighter aren't my style, although magical martials like Paladin and Monk are nice for me, and I do wish to play one sometime. I enjoy writing lore or backstories. I am in UTC+1 for a timezone, and am often available most of the day on sundays, except for dinner, unless school gets too much in the way, which doesn't happen often. I am also sometimes available on Saturday evenings, but that is less consistent. I don't enjoy a table without any roleplay easily though. I often make characters based on whatever campaign or oneshot I want one for, and as such am versatile in things like backstory or specific details.

Hey guys, I'm Korben. I go by a lot of names, so call me whatever you want, I really do not care. I've played D&D constantly for about 7 (almost 8) years, and I've made it the only thing I really do outside of school and work and such. I really enjoy D&D, not particularly because of the combat or roleplay, but more so because of the pure creativity and lore in campaigns. It sparks my mind in ways I can't usually which is one of the reasons for me enjoying it so much. I do still enjoy combat and roleplay a lot though, but I might struggle to get into my characters voice sometimes. In terms of what I like to play, I dabble in a little bit of everything. I've played all the way from homebrew campaigns, to roleplay campaigns, to official campaigns, all the way to oneshots. I've played every genre immaginable ranging from high-fantasy, low-fantasy, sci-fi, historical, modern, horror, and puzzle.

Hey there, I'm new to TTRGP's and have just started a campaign but am enjoying it so much that I'm looking for a second one. I got into D&D through Baldurs Gate 3 and then started listening to D&D podcasts so that's all the experience and knowledge I have and I have no previous experience with Pathfinder (but open to learn/try). I am also absolutely inexperienced in acting/roleplaying but I'll try to do my best. In terms of gameplay I'm open to try any class/build and I'd create/adjust my character to the stories setting. When it comes to availability. Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays form 5-6pm until at most 11pm. Saturdays are very flexible and open ended but preferably evenings Sundays is similar to weekdays. Generally flexible but at most until 11pm. My timezone is CET/CEST/UTC+2. Online only. If age matter, I am 26 years old. If there are any questions I am open to anwsering them. Hello, I'm Sapphire. I'm a Brazilian illustrator, and TTRPGs are my favorite hobby. I've been looking for chances to play more recently, specially Daggerheart, my favorite system. As a player I love roleplay, while I enjoy combat and exploration a lot too, I believe the best moments of any campaign usually happen during those moments where the players are just roleplaying to the best of their abilities at each other or towards whichever important NPC they're talking to. I enjoy playing spellcasters, and my characters tend to be either: people with a lot to prove with a mission to accomplish (even if some times they don't even know that themselves), or weird characters whose origins seem to have been leading them towards a happy life, but something caused a huge shift, messing with their life and causing them to have to deal with something else, complex and unatural, which they have to learn to deal with or cure. About myself, besides TTRPGs I love animated shows and movies, books, music, and video games. I enjoy watching video game streamers, and some of my favorite games are: the Dragon Age franchise, Baldur's Gate 3, and Pokemon. I also really like reading about mythology, specially Greek and Roman.

Yo wassup MFs, I am Ymmi (I will tell you my actual name eventually just not gonna give that out here publicly.) I was directed to this site to find a game, and I don't expect much out of it, but if I sound like a vibe then I would happily take any invitiation. I am a creative individual who prefers the roleplay aspect of TTRPGs more than the combat, I don't mind combat but when one round takes upwards of 30 minutes because people don't prepare their turns in advance I hate it. I am not the most interesting individual and I am not great at the things I do, but what I do do (haha doodoo) is try as hard as my mind and body will let me (I am a lazy procrastinator with little drive and motivation, but if i do have motivation i go hard) For TTRPGs, I dont mind which is played, D&D5e or PF2e are just the ones I have played, but I am fully able to learn a new one. I have been both a player and DM, but the groups always die out or have drama, I just wanna play the game man..... I've been playing D&D 5e since 2016. I started as a player for 2 weeks, and then became a DM on a whim, forever DM until today. Pathfinder 2E, and Tormenta 20. Both systems are hard to grasp even after sessions of experience, so I prefer not to go with those. Daggerheart is another I got into recently, I'm down to DM for it as well. It looks fun.

Hello all, I am an experienced GM that have been running and playing many types of ttrpgs since the early 80's. I have been running games online for sometime now and am comfortable using several VTTs as well as Discord. I prefer to GM over being a player and have ran a variety of ttrpg systems on- and off- line. When it comes to gaiming, I can be relied on to make the schedule regularly, barring health and some holidays. While I love all sorts of gaming styles, my preferred gaming includes a mix of strong roleplaying and combat. I really enjoy getting into character and experiencing others do the same. I live in the Pacific Time Zone and usually am avaliable during the week for gaming at 4pm or later, Sundays is special as I have a more open schedule from 8 am to midnight. My current preferred games are Marvel Multiverse, 2d20 Infinity, and Warhammer 4th ed (in-order of perference). I might be willing to run other games as well, but the above take priority.

Hello, I am an avid TTRPG enthusiest and have read the entirety of rule books for advanced DnD 2nd edition. I have a large knowledge of Pathfinder 1e as well as Vampire the masquerade 5e and DnD 5e. I also have read a large amount of books for other rpgs including mask a new generation, vampire the requiem, mutants and masterminds 2e, the older world of darkness editions, marvel heroic rpg, and more. Hello, I'm Ev! I've been playing DnD for a few years now. I GM for a couple groups and play in another. I'm running Heroes of the Borderlands, Wild Beying the Witchlight, and then I'm playing in a homebrew 5e campaign. When I play or GM, I like to play good ol fashioned DnD. I love combat, I love scrounging through a city for information, and I love role playing with a group of adventurers. I love to use magic, but I have no qualms bringing the physical pain, or sweet relief of healing. I have experience playing on Roll 20, DND Beyond's VTT, using discord to chat, and I'm open to any other site/app we'd need. I want to find a group to play with, preferably not GM for, but I am open to multiple GM's to share the weight of a campaign, or I can also GM. Hello, After watching some dnd sessions, I really enjoyed the idea of trying it out myself. I would like to join a group that welcomes newbies, help them learn the game and don't mind slowing down from time to time when I get something wrong (which will happen, more often than not). I am eager to learn and, through this experience, gain more confidence in myself when it comes to role playing and finding a group of people that I could call my friends. I am open minded to critique and I will also try to bring a good experience for the other players and gm. When it comes to the game itself, I am OK doing a pre-made game or a homebrew world. As for scheduling, I can do weekends (Friday night, Saturday and Sundays). I will try to join every session (because I really want to play), but sometimes my work hours and/or master's degree might get in the way. Hi there! I'm a mature player looking for a game with people who love the comraderie of roleplay. I enjoy a game that is heavy RP balanced with combat, problem solving, political intrigue, travel, survival or whatever aspects the GM wants to put our merry band up against. I'm in your world now. Play Style: I'm serious about having fun. I'm low maintenance and I fit well into most groups that aren't all about fart jokes.. I'm a stickler about showing up on time to every session. I put a good effort into making my characters fun for the other players as well as the GM. I'm not much of a min/maxer. I don't know the powerful builds as I tend to add to my characters in a manner consistent with their back story. I write modest back stories and try to include multiple hooks that the GM might choose to use somewhere along the road. I prefer to see a good story or interesting outcome rather than fuss over rules. I tend to get in character and stay in character for an entire session. I'm not adverse to long sessions, provided we have appropriate intermissions. Experience: I haven't played for two or three years, so I'll need a bit of help getting back up to speed. I know nothing about 5e 2024 rule changes. I'm generally a quick study and willing to learn anything new. I'd prefer a DnD 5e 2014 game, but would be willing to learn 2024 and I do have some experience with PF2e. I'd also be interested in playing Starfinder 2e as a completely new player. I have GMed homebrews in 5e on several occasions, but my first choice is to participate as a member of the party. I prefer Foundry VTT, but I have participated in past games using Roll20 and DndBeyond. I have fairly in depth knowlege of the inner workings of FVTTv12/13. Prefered Times: I'm in Ontario Canada (UTC-4) and would prefer games that were afternoons or evenings local time. North American games or evening UK/EU games can fit my schedule nicely. My schedule is fairly open, so I'm easy to accommodate. My ideal schedule would be a weekly game of at least 3-4 hours. I have been an actor on stage since I was 5, have multiple performances over my life including but not limited to Shakespeare (Midsummer Night's Dream as Oberon), Rocky Horror Show (Frank N Furter) and Little Shop of Horrors (voice of Audrey II) and even performed for a week at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Most recently, I have appeared as Security Officer Shaun Kane in the sci fi movie "Offworld: Alien Planet", which is currently available for free on Amazon and other free movie streaming sites. In addition to this, I have been in 2 rock bands, and appeared on the UK Indie circuit as a Professional Wrestler! Since before I was 10 I have been an avid player of the Fighting Fantasy choose your own adventure gamebooks before getting my introduction to Games Workshop and Warhammer very early on in the 1990s. Despite all of this, I only actually started playing D&D just as everywhere was going into Lockdown due to a mixture of my other half and Stranger Things, discovering Critical Role shortly after. I now DM for D&D in several sessions a week in a couple of ongoing campaigns, and also GM both Candela Obscura and Daggerheart. I also GM Fallout 2d20 RPG and Free League's Alien RPG.

Started playing almost 10 years ago when i heard a friend of mine in our drama class talking about this brand new Edition of Dungeons and Dragons. Never heard of it, decided to try it, got addicted. C'est la vie. From then on i fell in love with the TTRPG world, tried various system (Cyberpunk, Pathfinder, Vampire the Masquerade and many more), I even tried mastering once or twice. As a player I'm very invested in character creation and writing backgrounds, i like to make sure that my PCs are living beings in the world and to narrate their stories through my interpretation. I love to roleplay, to interact with the world, other players and the story. I tend to stay in character but never had a problem with kicking back a bit and goof off with the rest of the party. I'm an Archeologist, last year in Univeristy for my degree. In my spare time I'm a theater actor, visit art gallery and museums, have a passion for cooking and writing. Been part of a Candela Obscura table for about 2 years every other Tuesday. Love that so much got a tattoo of it. Tried to branch out to roll 20 discord voice for a few months, got enjoyment out of it but i started to feel pressured to 'perform'. I also hated how an entire session could be filled up with just combat. While combat is fun, if it is number crunchy and too long it just feels like a waste of time. I'm a rp and lore junky. I loved the characters and story of my campaigns, did not care or know really how to make a super powerful and dps build. Which tells me while I prefer combat to be more rp prone. I'm a 34 year old mailman and husband and father, so time is very tight. I will post at least 5 posts a day. Depending on the workload and how high maintenance the family is, and if I find the pbp compelling, I might do a lot more. I hope so. That's why I ultimately ended up bowing out of the dnd. So my next stepping stone in my ttrpg journey is to find a pbp that posts normally that focuses on rp and story. While I appreciate the chaos and uncertainty of the dice it shouldn't be at the deterrent of player creativity, or fun, or rule of cool. But that's just me. I can learn any system or setting, I'm a smart dude. I value the people and the pc and the story over all. Also, I'm from Kansas. In the US. Normal sleep schedule. So CDT is where I'm at. That has been an issue before. I've never done paid pbp before but if the quality of the campaign, and set up, and pace is good enough I have no issue helping with a few dollars to the gm

I’m not exactly a new player — I’d say I’m moderately experienced (I’ve finished two long-term campaigns so far). Lately though, I’ve been pretty bored since my usual group is made up of international players, and scheduling sessions has become really difficult. It’s also been hard finding people locally who share the same interests. I’d love to meet and play with more people, so feel free to add me if you’re looking for another player! I’m only interested in online games through Roll20 or theater of the mind since I can’t really commit to in-person sessions because of college. I can also DM occasionally (though I’m still pretty inexperienced at it), and I’d be happy to help newer players through a simple campaign or one-shot. Greetings everyone! I'm a somewhat experienced player looking to join a new game, as I'm getting that itch to play in more games than I currently have! Below is some relevant information about me. Availability: I currently DM a game on Fridays and I'm a player in a campaign on Saturdays nights (starting at 23 UTC, so I can still play on Saturdays so long as the session ends before then), and due to a flexible work schedule, I can make almost any other (reasonable) day/time work for at least the next year. I would prefer a weekly game, but every other week also works. System preference: I don't really mind too much what's being used. I have experience with PF2e and D&D 2014, and a bit with SWADE - I'm currently DMing a campaign using it, 8 sessions in. If we're playing D&D, I'd like to take a look at the 2024 version, as I like most of the changes. About me: I'm a 24 year old guy who's been playing fairly consistently for 5-6 years now. I'm from Brazil so I do have a noticeable accent, but I'm fluent, I promise! Both of the campaigns I'm currently in are fully in English. I despise AI-generated content. I'm sorry, but it's just downright bad and often distracting enough to take me out of the game. If you use AI images often, I'd rather not be in the game. Also I'm gay, if that matters to anyone. What kind of game I'd like: I'm fond of roleplay and PC characterization. Having interactions while maintaining character, be they short remarks or deep conversations, is what I play TTRPGs for! That all being said, I still love combat and exploration with the odd puzzle here and there, and would love a healthy mix of these elements. Sandbox-style campaigns where we are free to explore the character's backgrounds and personal goals while having an overarching objective or even just intriguing side quests would be my favorite type of game. I prefer medieval/steampunk fantasy games most of the time, but I'm not at all opposed to a high-tech/sci-fi campaign! It could be fun. What kinds of characters I usually make: Personality-wise, it varies on the campaign's premise, the game's tone, and my mood at the time. I'm totally down to make anything from an irredeemable villain to a young naive hero. Combat-wise, it depends on the system, but I have a weakspot for "gishes" who blend martial and caster elements. I am guilty of making many "monstrous" characters (my username here is ironic) be they warforged, gargoyles, undead, or just beastmen of any kind. I won't pick something that would be inconvenient/impossible/unfun in your particular setting, though! I want my character to still fit in the world. But if it is a lower fantasy game where player options are more restricted, I'd probably prefer not to join. Not that a character needs an exotic race to be interesting, but I just find the design and appeal of less standard options far more fun to build around, personally!
