Hi! I started playing TTRPGs back in high school and have played a wide range of systems over the years with several different groups. Most of my experience has been in‑person, including a few long‑term campaigns and a handful of shorter arcs. I’ve also stepped into the DM role from time to time to get friends into the hobby. It’s been a few years since I’ve played regularly, and I’m looking to get my feet wet again. I’ve played with groups that were combat‑heavy, RP‑focused, or somewhere in between, and I’m happy to adjust to whatever style your table enjoys. I’m a big fan of co‑op games in general — strategy, teamwork, and a bit of whimsy are my sweet spots. Sometimes you don’t solve the puzzle; sometimes the puzzle solves you. I’ve read and played a lot of systems over the years, and I’ll be honest: between books, editions, and rule sets, they can blend together. I’m more than willing to brush up on whatever system your group uses to make the DM’s life easier… or harder, depending on perspective. Tie goes to the defender, right? One important note: I have a daughter who’s almost two. I believe in committing to a group and being consistent, and I’ll do everything I can to show up reliably — but she’s also the main reason I stepped away from roleplaying for a while. I want to be upfront about that. I've been playing tabletop since 3rd edition D&D and I'm at the point in my life where I'd rather find one good group than keep starting over. Looking to be a player for once. I am exhausted from always GMing, and I'm looking for just showing up and playing well with others. Systems I love: SWADE, FATE, and most things that aren't vanilla 5e. I mean 5e is okay, but it's just overdone. Pathfinder 1E has a place in my heart primarily due to nostalgia, but I otherwise enjoy lighter systems. I'm flexible on setting but I light up for urban fantasy, sci-fi, horror, and anything with genuine moral complexity. Dresden Files, weird west, space opera? Yes, please!  Availability: Friday or Saturday evenings EST. I'm consistent. If I'm in, I'm in, every session, on time. If not, you'll know long in advance. Last minute cancellations aren't my thing. Heck, cancellations aren't my thing, but I leave that caveat just in case of the rarity. That consideration? I bring that to everything I do. What else I bring: two decades of table experience, genuine investment in collaborative storytelling, and a player who actually reads the lore you send. I engage with the story, not just my character sheet. But I will actually learn my mechanics, too. What I'm hoping to find: a group that's been around long enough to know they actually like playing together, with a GM who runs tight sessions and keeps momentum going. New groups welcome if the vibe is right and everyone's serious about it. Bonus points if you have a track record of making it past session three. I prefer narrative-focused play with real stakes over combat tourism, and mature themes over vanilla fantasy. DM me if this sounds like your table. Happy to chat before either of us commits. Right - an introduction - can we get some appropriately themed intro music?? My name is Pete and I live in Northampton UK, having recently moved at the start of the year!! I have been an actor on stage since I was 5, have multiple performances over my life including but not limited to Shakespeare (Midsummer Night's Dream as Oberon), Rocky Horror Show (Frank N Furter) and Little Shop of Horrors (voice of Audrey II) and even performed for a week at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Most recently, I have appeared as Security Officer Shaun Kane in the sci fi movie "Offworld: Alien Planet", which is currently available for free on Amazon and other free movie streaming sites. In addition to this, I have been in 2 rock bands, and appeared on the UK Indie circuit as a Professional Wrestler! Since before I was 10 I have been an avid player of the Fighting Fantasy choose your own adventure gamebooks before getting my introduction to Games Workshop and Warhammer very early on in the 1990s. Despite all of this, I only actually started playing D&D just as everywhere was going into Lockdown due to a mixture of my other half and Stranger Things, discovering Critical Role shortly after. I now DM for D&D in several sessions a week in a couple of ongoing campaigns, and also GM both Candela Obscura  and Daggerheart. I also GM Fallout 2d20 RPG and Free League's Alien RPG.

Hello! I'm Laura. After years of thinking "oh, I'd love to try to play D&D", a few weeks ago I took the plunge and I bought myself the DMG, MM and PHB, and set up my very first campaign. So far, I've DMd 3 sessions and I've loved every second of it.  I'm of course still very green, but I really enjoy D&D very much. This game is so addictive!  I prefer role playing to combat, even though I really like combat too! I live in Paris, so a schedule that'd be great is one that allows me to play in the evening during the week (available after 19:00 GMT+2 on Thursday's and Fridays). I'm a super dedicated person, so I'll be very regular with my hours. I would love a weekly game, because I prefer to play in smaller time frames, but more regularly. I'm a woman, and would love to play with a respectful and open minded table!  Also, a fun fact about me is that what made me finally take the step to buy all the DnD books was the show "Delicious in Dungeon". I love the character development, world building and love poured into that world.  I can't wait to meet other players and have a blast!

Hello! The name's LegoImp, I have been playing DnD for about 10-11 years as a player, mainly in 5e 2014, and I am looking to join a campaign for after work hours!  I am fairly creative, trying to get into the spirit of the whole roleplaying stuff cause I have been having fun with that, and overall cool person to be with. I do use discord for talking, and I also prefer to use some kind of VTT for more immersion and stuff. I usually use DnDBeyond for making character sheets, and I know how to use Roll20, Fantasy Grounds, and I was very briefly introduced to Foundry, which I like so far, but am willing to learn other programs if needed. My availability is going to be somewhere on the weekdays during the evening starting at 6:30PM MST/7:30PM CST/8:30PM EST. I can go either DnD 5e 2014 or 2024, though with the character I'm planning, it might end up being 2014. And like I said, I do like campaigns that have a lot of roleplaying, but also some combat, and I am willing to be flexible with what would interest me, and that includes homebrew stuff, for the character idea I currently want to use, which would be an amnesiac type timid character. Hi! I'm looking for a 5e game and I'd love to pitch a character concept I've been working on. She's a bit unusual but I think she could be really fun at the table, especially for roleplay and party dynamics. Happy to answer any questions! The Concept Sparkflower Moonbeam is a Pixie Artillerist Artificer. She is 153 years old, she was exiled from the Seelie Court about sixty years ago, and she has spent every day since working on a very specific and very complicated revenge. She presents to the world as Darkbane the Inevitable, a brooding teenage Tiefling in an Oni mask and a structured corset who carries a staff that crackles with dark energy and speaks as little as possible. Darkbane has panic attacks, doesn't like being touched, and has a journal of extremely bad poetry. She is clearly a very important dark lord. She is a puppet. Sparkflower has been operating her from invisible altitude since level 2. The party won't know this; that's the long con I'd love to play out across the campaign. Who She Is Sparkflower is autistic by Fae standards, which is to say she processes the world systematically, takes things literally, and cannot perform the elaborate social theatre the Seelie Court runs on. She was always wrong for the Wild the way a key is wrong for a lock it was never cut to fit. When she was 91 the Court found her secret workshop: iron machines, mechanical curiosities, and journals documenting her honest inner life in exhaustive detail. The machines were a minor transgression. The journals were read aloud to the assembled Court over six weeks as entertainment. Her sincere, unironic observations about Fae society struck them as genuinely hilarious. She was escorted out while the Court was already discussing something else. As she crossed the threshold someone called after her: "Perhaps you're the great Inevitable One, little Sparkflower. Perhaps the nursery rhyme is about you." She stopped. Looked at the implication. Kept walking. There is an ancient pixie nursery rhyme (sung to children as a warning) about a disgraced Fae from the lowest caste who rises to humiliate the High Court and leave an eternal mark on the Wild. Sparkflower has spent sixty years engineering its fulfilment one careful step at a time. Not because she is a chosen one. Because the rhyme is a specification and she is an engineer and she has had sixty years and a grudge. Her long-term goal is to walk into the Seelie Court as Darkbane the Inevitable, force the Queen to publicly acknowledge her, deploy an artifact she has been building since the night of her exile, and leave. After that she expects to be assassinated. She has made arrangements. She wins by being exactly what they said was broken. The Puppet — Why It's Fun Darkbane is built across the campaign. She starts as wire and silk operated by Sparkflower's clockwork familiar from the inside, convincing at social distance in a dim tavern and not much more. She develops across the campaign as Sparkflower's Artificer skills improve, gaining more natural movement, better facial expressions, and more physical capability. By the end of the campaign the puppet becomes Mechanicia, a fully autonomous clockwork golem who doesn't need an operator anymore. The progression is a series of crafting quests, each one a campaign beat. A friend helped me put together a rough statblock based on a Shield Guardian and a Clockwork Swashbuckler; it's available to discuss if you'd like to look at it, though honestly I doubt we'll reach level 14 in real life. I think the moment the party realises they've been travelling with a puppet the whole time is one of those scenes that becomes a table legend. I'd love to play toward that. At the Table Sparkflower is a support and roleplay character first. She keeps the party alive: healing items, buffing the fighter, keeping concentration spells up, using Flash of Genius to save someone from a terrible roll at exactly the right moment. She is emotionally invested in the party despite her best efforts not to be, which is where most of the RP comes from. Darkbane meanwhile is doing community theatre in a puppet suit. The gap between who Sparkflower actually is and who Darkbane appears to be is where I want to live. I have a full background document if you'd like more detail on her history, personality, and the Seelie Court backstory. I also have the Mechanicia statblock and a few notes on the DM conversations I'd want to have before session one; nothing dramatic, mostly quality-of-life stuff about playing a Tiny creature in a Medium world. I am a grown adult and have some limited experience playing D&D 5e I'm looking for a group that plays regularly on a week night (not Fridays). I work a job that can be unpredictable at times where I can have mandatory overtime that's given  the day of which could occasionally have an impact on my ability to play. That said I intend to attend on a consistent schedule, I don't mind a small fee for the GM as long as the game is run well, fair and most importantly fun.  Game play persona, I enjoy combat and thinking out side of the box for quirky fun solutions. I can play a serious character or a silly but game focused character.  For what it's worth my favorite character to play is a cleric, I can do battle, healer or a mix of both !  So if you need a healer, I can be your guy! I prefer a game where the GM makes it a fun challenge but doesn't railroad the campaign nor do they make it so complex where I'm spending more time making notes than playing the game. I have no issues playing with whoever (adults) so long as everyone keeps politics and religion out of the game session :) of course except those which apply to the game.

Games I'm Applying For: Vampire: The Masquerade V5, Dark Ages: Vampire, and Demon: The Fallen. (Werewolf: The Apocalypse 20th Anniv. would also be nice!) I have V5 on Demiplane. The rest I have the PDFs I purchased through DriveThruRPG. I am most familiar with Demon: The Fallen, but any of the WoD games I've listed here I'd happily play in! Experience with WoD: I have no experience with the tabletop games beyond watching online groups playing them, though I do have a few of the V5 books online via Demiplane (Corebook, Player's Guide, Chicago by Night), and the PDFs of others (Dark Ages: Vampire, Victorian Age: Vampire, Werewolf: The Apocalypse 20th Anniv, and Demon: The Fallen). The online chronicles I've seen are NY by Night, while I am still watching LA by Night and Ancestral Blood, so I do have fore-knowledge on how VtM games may flow, even if I don't have all the rules memorized! I have also been watching some online Chronicles of other games, such as McStabber Studios’ Demon the Road to Hell. Beyond the tabletop I have played various video games (Redemption, Bloodlines, Bloodlines 2, Swansong, Blood Hunt, WtA: Earthblood), I have played through visual novels ( VTM NY visual novel trilogy), I have recently started some interactive novels (Parliament of Knives, The Book of Hungry Names), and have started some of the novels (Clan Novel Toreador, Dark Ages Clan Novel Nosferatu, Grail Covenant, Ashes and Angel Wings)! Experience with Tabletops: I have been a fan of tabletops, mainly DND, for a few years now via online groups and podcasts, most notably Critical Role. I am also a small-time fan of groups like McStabber Studios, MagiRPG, Legends of Avantris, and Dice Times. I know how TTRPGs flow and especially how to roleplay, as that is and always has been my favorite aspect of these games! I started my first ever DND campaign a few months ago, and have been enjoying it very much and have been learning about all the mechanics! As for WoD, I understand all the general rules of play having read through the books I have purchased on Demiplane or DriveThruRPG and I feel I have a decent grasp of them. All I am lacking is the actual experience, which I am hoping to soon rectify! What I Have to Offer As A Player: I am the kind of player who takes the game very seriously, in that I am a great note taker, I go deep into roleplaying, I like crafting original and layered backstories for my characters, and I like to see my character develop and evolve as a person (or as a Monster!) throughout the campaign, whether that is mentally, physically, and/or when it comes to their abilities. I am also a very open-minded and friendly person, not to sound immodest. I am very LGBTQ+ Friendly, being a member of that community myself, and so I am the least judgmental person I know! Again, not to sound immodest! I am also very punctual. IF I am able to meet at the appointed time, then I will always be on time or early no matter what! The Kind of Monster I'd Play: My favorite Cainite clans, in no particular order, are as follows: Lasombra, Nosferatu, Cappadocian/Hecata, Tremere, Brujah, Ravnos. These are the clans that I would be most interested in playing. I like how unique they all are and the fact that they each, despite having some similarities, would play completely differently. I like playing characters that are morally grey but that strive to be better in a world of darkness and inherent violence. As for the Fallen I'd play? The Factions I enjoy the most are the Faustian and the Reconciler. The House I enjoy the most are the Slayers, the Angels of Death. The host body would likely be someone on the fringes of society, someone who knew suffering and so attracted one who has similarly despaired. The Fallen would likely be a melancholic one wallowing in darkness and righteous anger, but still wanting to do better and having an insatiable drive to fight against the injustices that have become increasingly common across Creation. What I Am Looking For: I am primarily looking for a World of Darkness Chronicle and group to join! I am hoping for a game with depth and lots of lore, with a Storyteller that is as serious about their Chronicle as I would be for my character! This can be in-person in NYC, or online! The ONLY caveat regarding online play is that I would have to use either Demiplane or Roll20 since that is where I purchased the books that I have listed above! Of course, we can simply use online for chatting and use actual character sheets, etc. Availability: I am not available Thursday and Saturday nights EST as I have other games at those times.
