Hello! My name is Pearl (32, He/Them) I am a west coaster (PST) and typically work nights, but will be available for the game on saturdays I'm a writer, gamer, sometimes GM, and love roleplay and storywriting to death and back. And I sometimes take pictures of animals and nature. I am West coast (pst/-8GMT). I'm in that awkward zone between beginner and intermediate experience when it comes to DND 5e/5.5e. I'm fairly experienced with Modiphious' 2d20 system.

I go by Elf. Any/All pronouns.I started playing tabletops back in 2017. First 5E, then Pathfinder, and now Daggerheart is my go-to game. I've been playing since the beta in 2024, I enjoy how the system encourages creativity from the GM and the players, how you can add "flavor" to the games spells, weapons, etc. I could go on and on about why I love this game, but I have a profile to write. I'm also a roleplayer and a writer. I often roleplay with friends over Discord, and have wrote a few stories, though most of them are sitting on my desktop. I like coming up with fun characters. Some take inspiration from The Elder Scrolls or RWBY or ZZZ. One of my recent characters was inspired by Fate. Never watched, but I liked the design/concept. I tend to get ideas that sometimes explode out of me. Next thing you know, I'm openining up a character sheet. So hours. A weekly game would be ideal. I'm kind of a night owl. My time zone is EST. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, I'm available for games from 6 PM to 6 AM the next day. Wednesdays, I'm available from 1 AM (technically Thursday, but you get the idea) to 6 AM. Friday and Saturday, I'm available from 8 PM to 6 AM. Sunday is usually my busy day. Sometimes this changes, but not enough to where I can commit to a Sunday game. For late night games, I can always get some caffeine in me to keep myself awake. I've done so before. It shouldn't be a problem if we're only playing once or twice a week. One last thing to mention: I sometimes use a voice changer for roleplaying purposes to sound a certain way when speaking as my character. As mentioned above, I love roleplaying and sometimes get really into it. This is comepletly optional, however, and I don't need it if it'll be too distracting. I can turn it on and off with a press of a key. So that's it. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hello everyone! my name is Blair, and I am a player looking for more games to play! my schedule just recently opened up, and i need to roll dice and tell some stories! a bit about me: a bulk of my TTRPG experience comes from playing 2014, but i do have experience playing other systems as well, such as Candela Obscura, Daggerheart, Pathfinder, and I've even played a homebrew version of DND. when it comes to me as a player, i do tend to play spellcasters, it just intrigues me a lot more than the martial classes, and when I do play martial classes, i always give them limited magic. I'm also a pretty respectful tablemate, i try to give my fellow players a chance to get involved. along with that, I do engage in romance, both PC and NPC, just depends on whether or not the table is down with that! oh, speaking of romance, i am Queer and trans! with the world that we exist in, I find that it is better for my table to know that upfront than learn that not only am I not cis but also, I like both boys and girls, it's just a fact of life. with that you must be a Queer and trans friendly table as well as a disabled friendly table since I am disabled as well! now to move onto a gm I would prefer: typically, how I'd parse out a potential good GM for me to play under, is I'd do a one-shot with them and see if we're a good fit, and if we can have good conversation, but considering the nature of a post like this, I am willing to forego that! that being said, you still need to have the following: be America-based and even more specifically be CST-based- since I am based in North America, I just can't do uber late games. it's not good for my mental health, and it causes me to be a terrible person for responding to DMs. RP skills - this doesn't mean that you shouldn't at least try to incorporate combat in your sessions but i need those RP skills sharpened to the max! homebrew vs. Module - I am willing to play a module but i would prefer a homebrew world. it shows that you are more than willing to be flexible with your players' stories and want to share that creativity with the world at large. recording vs basic home game - I am very okay and do consent to a recorded game, considering i have been in a few actual plays! that, however, does not mean that i will turn my nose up at a basic home game, in fact that is one of my favorites!

I'm a returning player for 5e i haven't played dnd in a while but have been watching alot of dnd and ttrpg's lately and been wanting to get back into playing dnd again. I really wanna play dnd based off of Neon Odyssey or The world of IOS if you know what those are, exploring some maybe campaings based in space. I’m a 22/M looking to join a D&D group that plays any time Monday–Thursday (evenings preferred) and occasionally Friday. Weekends are usually tough for me due to a family that believes dnd is the devil, but it IS possible. I’ve played in one one-shot before, but I’ll be honest, I didn’t get much of a chance to actually play due to being talked over a lot (and a d100 roll that gave everyone some random ass effect and im the only one who got anything remotely negative [if i spoke without rhyming i would get struck by lightning], but thats besides the point). So while I’m technically newer to live play, I’ve spent a ton of time learning the game and building characters. I am in another campaign that I've kinda started, but the dm has gone on vacation for the summer, and I have no real scope on when they'll return. I have done around 10 or so sessions with them and know how to use DND tools now, so... I absolutely love D&D. In my spare time I create characters constantly, I have at least one concept ready for nearly every class, and I’m more than happy to fill whatever role a party needs, as long as I get to play the game. I’m open to long-term campaigns, ongoing groups needing an extra player, or starting fresh.

Went through different groups that dissolved in the low levels and now looking for one where everyone is commited about playing. I like to play gishes and have been wanting to play a magus up to high level for a long time. I'm not interrested in doing the focus spellstrike cheese though, but I do hope the class get reworked...or that homebrew is fine I am a furry, lgbt friendly group and no ai, non negociable.

I'm pretty experienced with dnd 5e and other systems similar to it like Anime 5e by dyskami publishing. I want to expand my horizons and try out games like Daggerheart, Lancer, Fabula Ultima, Break, Star Wars 5e, Open Legends, and more. I'm willing to do vc but do better in pbp games. I've been in the scene for a little under 10 years (will be 10 this fall) and most of my experience is in DMing in the Numenera setting of the Cypher System, so I am looking to expand my horizons as a player in your group! Broad strokes: I aim to be cool to talk to and interact with, I pride myself on taking high-qulity notes, and I relish the character creation process. I like to think deeply about character decisions, and am most comfortable in a group with a maximum of 3 or 4 players. The Meat of Things Experience: I've been in the ttrpg scene for 10-ish years, but I do not have a ton of experience as a player. To that end, I'm mainly looking to join a game in a system I've never played so I can get the full newbie experience. You won't need to worry about my table ettiquette or basic rules knowledge, just whether I actually read an ability correctly the first few times I use it. Playstyle: I am a roleplayer at heart, and I take character decisions very seriously. I may need a few minutes to mull over what my character may do in any given situation, and I may need information to be restated there is a lot of exposition, but I do understand the need for brevity with others at the table. I love a well thought out combat sequence and I am not opposed to entire sessions being devoted to combat. My main ask is that the campaign cater to my character's arc in some way, I'm not the kind of guy who can make a throw-away character for a campaign that is more focused on a pre-determined path (never personally been a huge fan of modules, for example). Reservations / Preferences: Being almost 30, I prefer games with people around my own age. My comfortable range is anywhere from 25 - 40, with room to wiggle on either side. I won't play at a table that allows hateful language (racism, misogyny, transmisogyny, and transphobia to name a few of the big ones, but this list is not exhaustive), nor will I play at a table that considers itself "neutral ground" regarding human rights conversations. I prefer deeply nuanced and informed conversation around societal issues and suffering, both in-game and in real life. Experience I played some AD&D (v2) back in the 1990s, and then went on hiatus for many years. While I played a lot of D&D-inspired video games, I only returned to real D&D last year, and fell back in love with the game. I currently play a weekly 5e game on Roll20, and am looking to add a second nights game to my repertiour. I'm open to online and in-person games, although given the rural area I live in, the latter is not overly likely. My Gameplay Style I like a mixed game style, with a good dose of both roll playing and combat - though I admit to being weak/slow on the roll playing side. I'm most experienced with low-magic characters (I'm a arcane triskster rouge in my current game), but I'd like to try other classes. I'm pretty open to playing any character type, and am happy to change my character around to fit the group. I'm somewhat split in the story-lines that I like to play - I love big epic adventures, but also like small-stakes games (murder mysteries, etc). While I haven't played one since the 1990's, I'd love to play a dungeon crawl centric game (my current game is very much an "exploring an open world" style). I don't know if this is a thing, but a group which plays a series of shorter campaigns instead of one long campaig would be a great fit. Other Stuff Outside of D&D, I read a lot of SciFi and Fantasy novels. I also brew beer and make cheese when I get a bit of free time.

Hello all, I am an experienced GM that have been running and playing many types of ttrpgs since the early 80's. I have been running games online for sometime now and am comfortable using several VTTs as well as Discord. I prefer to GM over being a player and have ran a variety of ttrpg systems on- and off- line. When it comes to gaiming, I can be relied on to make the schedule regularly, barring health and some holidays. While I love all sorts of gaming styles, my preferred gaming includes a mix of strong roleplaying and combat. I really enjoy getting into character and experiencing others do the same. I live in the Pacific Time Zone and usually am avaliable during the week for gaming at 4pm or later, Sundays is special as I have a more open schedule from 8 am to midnight. My current preferred games are Marvel Multiverse, 2d20 Infinity, and Warhammer 4th ed (in-order of perference). I might be willing to run other games as well, but the above take priority.

Been part of a Candela Obscura table for about 2 years every other Tuesday. Love that so much got a tattoo of it. Tried to branch out to roll 20 discord voice for a few months, got enjoyment out of it but i started to feel pressured to 'perform'. I also hated how an entire session could be filled up with just combat. While combat is fun, if it is number crunchy and too long it just feels like a waste of time. I'm a rp and lore junky. I loved the characters and story of my campaigns, did not care or know really how to make a super powerful and dps build. Which tells me while I prefer combat to be more rp prone. I'm a 34 year old mailman and husband and father, so time is very tight. I will post at least 5 posts a day. Depending on the workload and how high maintenance the family is, and if I find the pbp compelling, I might do a lot more. I hope so. That's why I ultimately ended up bowing out of the dnd. So my next stepping stone in my ttrpg journey is to find a pbp that posts normally that focuses on rp and story. While I appreciate the chaos and uncertainty of the dice it shouldn't be at the deterrent of player creativity, or fun, or rule of cool. But that's just me. I can learn any system or setting, I'm a smart dude. I value the people and the pc and the story over all. Also, I'm from Kansas. In the US. Normal sleep schedule. So CDT is where I'm at. That has been an issue before. I've never done paid pbp before but if the quality of the campaign, and set up, and pace is good enough I have no issue helping with a few dollars to the gm

35 NB dnd player for discord group Hi there! My current group seems to be falling apart and I'd like to have a different group I can count on to play. Obviously sometimes things come up or people get sick, but I would like a group that cares as much and tries as much as I do to keep playing together. I love making stories together with friends and having silly fun with our ridiculous characters. I have currently mostly only been a player, but I had been working on a campaign for myself to DM, with said group. Did session 0s and things, world built etc, but that might have to change due to things that happened in our group. I also recently had an idea for a space jammer campaign. I've dabbled in different classes and general types of characters, some of which I have used inspiration from character from shows and video games I enjoy for reference. My first DND character and the one I've played the most is Phoenix, a fire genasi, way of the dragon monk with an aberrant dragon mark. (Her vibe was a bit of Bakugo and Mirko from My Hero Academia, and also the jaded outlook on life of Astarion with the protectiveness of Karlach from BG3). There were others in between but my current one is Xiào Lián who is a modified/customized/homebrewed Oath of the ancients paladin. The customization was very plot relevant and basically, he is an eladrin elf and I wanted him to have seasonally specific spells and stuff and there is other lore reasons why he can't control his seasons and stuff. I wanted to play a martial class that had more elemental stuff going on and Oath of the Ancients was the closest so I went from there. His sources of inspiration, and quick reference for character vibes are Xin Zhao from League of Legends, Hua Cheng and Xiè Lián from Heaven Official's blessing. He is very honorable, protective, compassionate and a family man. Haha (Also if anyone is curious about that build, I planned it out on Excel from level 4 to level 20) I am also familiar with Pathfinder and MAGE if any people here like those game modes as well. All this to say, I am open to DM-ing for those patient enough to want to play with a noob DM (we can as a group discuss what kind of game we want) and of course open to being a player in a campaign. I can maneuver my work schedule to accommodate others' availability. I'm hoping to find a group who wants to commit to a weekly game. If something comes up that has to happen that day, I'd like everyone in the group to care enough to want to try to plan a different time that week to play (but if there isn't a time that week, thats fine). This is sounding pretty depressing but I truly would love to find/make a new group that is passionate about the worlds we can create in dnd and building them with other people to the point we look forward to spending time together playing the game every week and if we hang out outside of the game, we make dnd jokes to each other about our characters and other silly things, or talk about how we are still reeling from the horrifying thing that happened at the last session. Some players bring a character sheet; I bring a living, breathing entity to the table. I’m Daniel, and I’m looking for a highly immersive, narrative-driven campaign where the veil between stats and story is thin. I am currently eager to bring a specific concept to a living world: Silvax, a shadow-focused druid walking the path of a fully fleshed-out, custom-built subclass called the "Circle of the Umbra." Accompanied by his raven familiar, Krow, the build blends stealth, necrotic themes, and deep roleplay to explore the space between the light and the dark. For me, characters are independent organisms with their own flaws, traits, and free will. I believe roleplay shouldn't stop when initiative is rolled. Whether we are orchestrating covert, shadow-ops style maneuvers or locked in methodical, turn-by-turn combat, I stay deeply immersed with full dialogue. I highly respect DMs who treat their world as a true, living element of the game and let a character's true nature drive their choices. iv done tabletop with friends before and always was the GM. i even tried to run my own textbased game but could never keep those alive, people eventually just stopped responding even after multiple reminders its their turn in combat. so im looking to be a player this time instead. im fine with both roll20 and discord text play or a öove gameplay deal over roll 20 or similar sites. the three characters i can for DND offer are: -a kobold demolitionist (comic relief obsessed with explosives. this guy would use a more explosives focused subclass for artificer i found on reddit if thats ok with your game) -a tribal tabaxi guy with spear who moves fast and haresses enemies in melee (this character is very cruel and would be only suited to serious games) -a harengon geomancer (this guy would only use earth and stone themed spells and im partial to reflavoring existing spells as earth ones) for other settings i usually have one character per setting. NOTE: im not interested in character creation involving rolled stats i dont like rng deciding my stats i prefer pointbuy.

I was introduced to roleplay when I played World of Warcraft as a teenager. At the time, I had no idea what roleplaying really was, but I gradually started to enjoy it, until I reached the point where I preferred roleplaying over other types of content. After that, I joined some roleplaying circles, mostly focused on D&D. As for campaigns I’ve DMed, I’ve run OotA (Out of the Abyss) and CoS (Curse of Strahd). I considered running PotA (Princes of the Apocalypse), but the lore and narration didn’t really hook me. I never seriously considered RoT (Rise of Tiamat), but I might give it some thought. Right now, I’m definitely thinking about DMing LMoP (Lost Mine of Phandelver). I’m a very eccentric and lively person, full of energy and always willing to communicate with others. I’m using different groups and platforms to improve my English, both in comprehension and conversation. I always focus on having fun rather than being overly strict about rules, if everyone is having fun, then I believe the main goal of the game has been achieved. My time zone is BRT, usually 4 hours ahead of PST. I’m more available to join campaigns on Saturdays (in fact, it’s the only day I can consistently dedicate to a long-term campaign). What I like most about D&D (or roleplaying in general) is the lore you can build, the scenarios you can create, and the organic consequences of each character’s actions. I believe coherence is more important than “God Mode,” "Mary Sue characters", or anything like that. If I’m about to die, then so be it - if it makes sense, I’d honestly be more bothered if my character didn’t die. So, in one word, what I value most in a good session is: coherence. Playstyle: Anything from casual to hardcore. I'm not bothered by player death. I enjoy the RP session with no combat as much as the combat sessions. I love theory crafting and optimization. I have the most fun playing support/controll/disrupter characters. My favourite character of all time was a pacifist wizard who had no damage spells. I get more serotonin from locking down a room of enemies with Hypnotic Pattern than I would from killing every single one of them with a Fireball. Logistics: I have a very free and flexible schedule. My only dependants are two dog (who may get noisy during a session, but that is what the mute button is for).

Hi! i'm siri, a queer nonbinary girl looking for groups outside of your standard DnD fare. There's so many games out there waiting to be played, and it's hard to convince your RPG group to do that. To fix that, i'm looking for stuff i haven't played before. i'm particularly interested in Shadowdark and other OSR games, right now, and also a cool cyberpunk game (the setting, though i will totally also try Cyberpunk, the RPG). i have a lot of experience playing all kinds of systems, but mostly DnD, Pathfinder 2e, and PbtA games. i have a lot of time on my hands, particularly on weekday mornings (CET). i'm not unwilling to DM, but i really only have experience with prepared campaigns, so far, so i'm still mostly a beginner.

Hello, I'm Marc, 30 years old, and I've been playing DnD for a few months now, both with an IRL friend group and through Baldur's Gate 3, which I understood to be good introduction to most basic mechanics of the TTRPG, though I think it does not do much to encourage consistency in roleplay aspects. I've also played other CRPGs in the past (Solasta, WH40K Rogue Trader). I'm looking for a weekly group on workdays evenings, except on tuesdays. As for playstyle, I tend to keep notes and map out dungeons while playing, so I tend to let others initally react to scenes, then step in, so maybe more reactive than proactive, except in situations when we get stuck on low-importance issues. Thus, I'm mostly leaning towards playing level-headed characters so far, though I may attempt to go out of my comfort zone in future games (not in the close future though). I value having options as a party, so i'll try playing characters that add to these options.I tend to prefer exploration and combat to pure roleplay scenes, but I don't mind attempting a more roleplay-heavy campaign

I love story‑driven, character‑focused games with a good splash of combat rather than pure dungeon crawls. My favourite crew to watch is the Oxventurers Guild, so I’m looking for similar rule‑of‑cool vibes – fast and loose when it makes the story more epic or hilarious, with room for gallows humour and messy characters. Experience‑wise, I’m new to playing but not to worlds, story, or character building. I’ve watched a lot of D&D actual play and played the video game versions of several systems, so I understand the basics and I’m a quick learner. Hello I'm Cynthia (she/her) and a 27 year old trans woman. I've played TTRPGs for seven years now. I'm looking for a game that's starts around 18:00-22:00 in GMT+1. I can currently free up any evening that isn't Saturday. I love worldbuilding and making my character part of the DMs world as much as possible and don't mind fleshing out towns or countries of my characer if the DM is cool with it. While I enjoy roleplay a lot even if I can be silent on occasion I also really like combat. I enjoy mastering a system and doing well with it and using it to realize my character. I'm not a powergame or seek to break the game but I like playing a strong character/ a character really good at something, hence my preference for Pathfinder. I optimized my characters ability to dance well once. Its fun. I'm okay with most things being talked about in a game but exessive bodly harm being described in detail gives me the ick. But I'd appriciate a consent from anyway before the game starts. Helps set boundaries. The guide for writing this says to mention your favurite media and that would probably be Mass Effect 2. Particularlly the structure of the game where its almost episodic where you go from place to place and do favors and fix things for your eventual end goal is a lot of fun to me.

I’ve tried DMing one-shots for friends, but none of them either liked or invested themselves into playing D&D. I consider myself a roleplay-heavy focus player: As a writer, I live for complex, flawed characters and morally grey situations. I love stories where choices have real weight and tension. But – even if I didn't play a lot of combat – I view combat as an extension of the story that can be character-driven moments or character expression. I would be the kind of person to try to do combos with my teammates or attempt a risky backflip for the sake of the scene (even if I fail the check!). I like to make them cinematic and more realistic too. I love building deep connections with other player characters and working with the GM to weave my character's growth into the larger narrative.
