Trying to get back into being a DnD player again. Currently run a DnD 5.5e  custom campaign for some friends and it has made me yearn to be a player again lol. Pretty laid back if there are any questions feel free to ask. Editions Im comfortable playing in order are 5E 5.5E and 3.5E. Hello! You can refer to me as Grizz or Doom, either nickname works until we get to know each other better.  To get the essentials out of the way; My most experiance is in DnD 5e by far with a few campaigns and plenty of characters beneath my belt. I have dabbled a little in Cybperunk Red & Vampire the Masqurade, though not a full game as of yet. I am a detailed and literate roleplayer with eight years experiance with an average post length of one to two paragraphs that can easily adjust according to scene and pacing. I'm hoping to find someone experianced in GURPS to show me the rulset and teach me about that TTRPG. Be it a one shot or a long term campiagn between us - I have heard a lot of stuff relating to GURPS character creation and the sheer amount of veriaty you could make in it. Hello! ^^ My name is Adam. I've been playing D&D for some time now, having both tried 5e and 5.5e, which I'm looking forward to playing! I don't mind slight homebrews on a mechanical level and I enjoy homebrewed worlds and scenery for a campaign a lot, instead of the usual presets or manuals to run campaigns. I don't have any preferences on classes or playstyle. I enjoy playing every role as long as the DM gives me the tools I need to have fun in my role. What I am looking for is a game of D&D 5.5e to play around 8 or 9 pm (UTC +2). I have no set day to play, though I have a preference for the weekend, including Saturday. I don't mind any type of campaign from espionage to guild adventures or even thieves in search of ancient relics, though I prefer high fantasy worlds and little to no restriction around playstyles (for example, limiting magic, magic items, etc.) and, if possible, more focus on the roleplay aspect both in and out of combat without overshadowing the gameplay of it. Now for a little info drop about me! I'm a student who lives in Western Europe, simply looking to find a memorable time and party to play and have fun with! I might sound or act a little anxious or closed off at first, but if I grow comfortable, I can get extremely chatty! A part that I find very important in sessions is the music that is played. Having no music is actually a huge deal breaker for me in many situations. Lastly, I'm looking forward to meeting and talking with new people about my personal hobbies, and getting to know each other well. There is still a lot I could write, but I much prefer getting to know someone by voice and through more meaningful personal chats! Hopefully someone reading this message might think I'm a good pick for their game. Good day, My name is Adomas, a male in my late thirties. Born and raised in Lithuania but currently living in Norway. Languages: English (C1), Lithuanian (Mother tongue), Norwegian (B2), Russian (B1). Most suitable times for games: CET 20,00-00,00 (Mondays, Tuesdays, Sundays), would commit 1-2 days per week. Gaming experience: Mostly I'm interested in DnD 5e, DnD 5,5e. Currently playing a 3 year long campaign while meeting people physically and Curse of Strahd (online). + PC gaming like BG, Destiny, ect. Gaming role: Player (sadly but don't have enough time to DM). Party roles: flexible. Usually I can perform in different roles, depending on what is needed for the party. A few of my chars include: Dragonborn Oath of vengeance paladin (16lvl), Pallid elf Twilight Cleric (7lvl), Wood elf warrior/archer(7lvl). Need to mention that roles were used in the 5e setting. Due to the fact that usually I'm quite committed to the character my roleplay can be a bit lacking. What I mean by that - it's not that easy for me to take different social roles in a game (out of combat), for example, drunkard, foul ect. Usually my IRL personality reflects on my chars in-game. Personal traits reflected on characters: Neutral: Not motivated by in-game gold/wealth, personal growth is secondary, success of a party is a priority. Strong feeling of righteousness with a sprinkle of vengeance/sadism. Possitives: Logical/tactical thinking, encounter planning, decent decision making even in morally tough situations. Negatives: ‘’By the book’’ attitude - We should be clear with the rules before the game/gaming session and not change/homebrew them on the spot, in the middle of a fight or RP. Questioning DM / Game rules (abbilities, spells ect.) is a crucial process of learning and experiencing the game (IMHO), therefore there could be some discussions here and there. Few notes: There is no problem supporting GM financially. Have a few friends, with experience in DnD (1-2 additional players) if needed. Looking For a Long-Term Game! Hello! My name is Gabby or Caboose (F)(23) and I am looking for a long-term campaign to join! I haven’t had much luck yet, so I'm trying all my options here. I love all genres and I'm more than okay with dark themes so long as it actually has a purpose and not just used for shock value. Hey hey! I've been playing dnd for about 4 years with the same group. We did frost maiden and the frost king. I've only ever played a sorcerer and I love to explore things, find cool magic items, and play with a little bit of risk. I've never played with a group that had character development so I'd be open to exploring it. I'm used to constantly rolling for initiative and getting creative.  I'm pretty easy to get along with and fun to play with.  Here are some examples of the things I've done in our previous campaigns: I got a shield guardian and then he got cursed so then we adventured to get him uncursed.  We accidentally burned half a village down and then decided to build a blueberry store and diner so everything we got things throughout the mission, we would send them back to diner. Then venture back to the diner to check in like on the magic chests we found, spiders that cleaned, etc. And the whole dinor was run by the yetis we befriended and sort of bribed to not kill us 😅.

Hi, I'm Jay. I'm an experienced player and DM in his 40s looking to play in a campaign with a roleplay-intensive story. I'm happy with equal amounts of combat and roleplay. I DM'd a game with friends and family for a couple of years and have played a couple of long-form bi-weekly campaigns. I enjoyed the amount of creativity I could throw into being a DM, so I try to bring that to my playstyle. I like to really get into the character itself and love to build characters; I'm also happy to help other new players with their own characters if asked. I treat TTRPGs as collaborative storywriting efforts, so I'm just as happy to give the limelight to another player if the narrative or DM calls for it. As far as content goes, the only reservations I'd have about a game is if it involved themes of sexual violence/exploitation/abuse, harm against children or has a lot of edgelords in the playerbase. Hi, my name is George. I am 25, currently working as a special needs teacher. I've been playing D&D for about 2 years now, and I'm familiar with both the 2014 and 2024 rules, so either works for me. I'm a complete beginner when it comes to Daggerheart though, I've just read through the core rules a few times and watched others play, so I haven't actually sat down at a table for it yet. Schedule-wise, weekdays I'm free after 18:00 GMT+3, weekends pretty much whenever, and I'm generally flexible if a group needs something different. Looking for a group that meets regularly, once a week ideally. I show up when I say I will. Not the guy who ghosts three sessions in.  Playstyle-wise I am into both a good combat and a good role-play. Whatever the session calls for. A few characters I've played recently: Atlas Skypillar, a stone giant goliath berserker barbarian, in a murder mystery campaign. Oran Monnarge, a thief rogue halfling, in "The Black Powder Barrel: The Murder of Tobias Jake." And Hachi the Isetsu, a skeletal blade warrior, in a oneshot. One game I'd really love to get into is Curse of Strahd. I was actually supposed to join a long-term campaign for it a while back, but I had to switch towns for work and my old DM only ran in-person games, so that fell through. Still hoping to find my way into a Strahd game eventually. As for taste, I'm all about drama and a good plot twist. I like joking around at the table when the moment allows it, but I can also read the room and get serious when the scene needs it. Outside D&D I'm big into dungeon crawlers like Etrian Odyssey and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, and tactical games too, Fire Emblem mainly, though I'll admit I never got past the GBA titles. And Castlevania is probably my favorite series overall, so gothic castles, cursed families, that whole vibe is right up my alley. I can't wait to get to know new people and to enjoy playing a story together 😁

Hi, french adult player here. Experienced in PF2E : Been playing and dming 1e and 2e for yers now. Started with naheulbeuk and 1e, then did one game of 5e and finally moved to 2e and a bit of Knight. I play my round quickly and, if possible, some flair. [Type of game]: To complement a more rp focused campaign I'm in I'd like to find a game that's more focused on action and aventure. Looking at recent APs I've seen that Hellbreakers and Hell's destiny look cool. Would be interrested going back into Kingmaker after my previous go was cut short. Or even conversions of 1e AP or homebrew stuff ! : On week days I can play from 19:00 to 00:00 and on saturdays I am free all day from 08:00 to 00:00 I'm a big gish fan, but so far haven't got to play one in 2e to very high level (highest I got with a magus was level 5 or 6 in abomination vault before a tpk). The only high level AP I got done so far was Age of Ashes several years ago with my sorcerer. So I'd be pretty flexible on roles to fill with one, ideally i'll try to make a magus work and with its upcoming rework I think I could make it fill defensive or offensive roles in a party ! Some characters I played before were: -Phaebus: in 1e, a magus smith from Torch in Iron Gods. He was one of the students of the local mage who had gone missing at the start of the AP, on the way to rescue him he found an intelligent sword of strange design that had lost its memories. He made it his goal to restore the lost memories and learn more about that sword in order to forge his own masterpiece. Piers: 2e Age of Ashes, a draconic sorcerer who chose to become a paragon of heroism for the weak after escaping slavery. He wore shiny plate armor and a shield without any other weapon to be a symbol of protection in the name of Milani. After the end of the campaign he kept travelling to free slaves and oppressed alike. Red Swirl: 2e Kingmaker, a kholo magus from a group of bandit/mercenary kholos who joined the party to get rid of the Staglord, and then stayed to help them deal with anything pertaining to magic. Sadly the game stoped early in book 2. W4N-D3RER: 2e Abomination Vault, an automaton cleric of casandalee who puts on a front talking very robotically and flatly, indicating verbally the tone or emotion he is going for. he does so to get people used to interracting with the less emotive sentient machines children of the goddess. He died late into the dungeon and was planned to return as a ghost summoner, with his old automaton body as a contruct eidolon. But sadly, again, the group disbanded and gave up after a tpk. Some more details: -Won't join games that use AI -LGBTQ friendly is required. -Furry friendly is preferred

Hey guys, the name is Micahel and I have been playnig dnd for at least I can say back to like 2020-21, after covid stuff ended, I am a big lover of both module games and homebrew games that people make themselves, especially to see and experience thier hard work and world space. I would like to say I chose the 18+/nsfw tags as I tend to use them more to show I like playing with others closer to my age range, 30, and experience games tied to things you may see in grimdark games for example. Now of course my main thing will be: if all the party is cool with it then alright, my liking of it shouldn't trump the care and comfort of others. When it comes to games, I prefer playing support characters to some more front line in the fight types while I am still trying to get better at verbal roleplaying. So if I join games and see a support role needed, I would probably be the first to offer taking classes like Clerics to other classes with subclasses that give a support/healer focus. If there is however the chance to be something else, I would probably take classes like Artificers, Warlocks, Wizards, Barbarians, or Paladins. Whatever the party needs, I am more than willing to take the role to help the party not be lacking a needed coverage. The same is how I tend to rp, I try not to be commanding a scene or talking over others so I may be more of a quiet person till a chance to speak is there. I hate the idea of cutting someone off during a needed question, special moment, and so on. In the future I plan to try running some paid one shots and maybe even a full campaign as I am trying to find something of work I can do that fits within stuff I have going on with myself. If I ever get the chance to, I look forward to making a world you can love being part of.

I'm Tomb, a (technically) 6 year DND player (on and off and with a lot of "rule of cool" tables so not a veteran) looking for a game for Sunday Nights usually starting around 8 EST (though my schedule will probably open soon!) None of that means I don't like combat though, combat plays a really important part in a lot of stories and can be interesting in their own right! I do know a lot of the rules for DND 5e, I've been watching actual plays long enough to have picked up on the rules, but I prefer Homebrew over RAW and Rule of Cool over Rules Lawyering I'm a huge fan of actual plays, namely Campaign 2 of critical role, Dimension 20s Misfits and Magic, A Court of Fey and Flowers, and The Seven, a small one shot campaign called World's Apart, and the beginning half of Godsfall (before the cast imploded) Literature wise I'm an avid reader of high fantasy, Eragon being my favorite series, along with Harry Potter (fuck terfs), and a niche Midgrade series called Avalon: Web of Magic! TL;DR in the DMs Guide Player Types: Im an Explorer, a Problem Solver, and a Storyteller, but I'm more than willing to hit something along the way, i prefer Homebrew and Rule of Cool over RAW, and i want some found family/hope with my hard story beats! I hope to tell amazing stories together 💛

Hi! I'm Tako, I'm 25, and I just graduated from university. I'm from Texas, and some of my biggest hobbies are anime, video games, baking, TTRPGs, history, and, of course, sleeping. I've been playing D&D for around 7... maybe 8 years now? It's honestly been so long that I've lost count, but it's become one of my favorite hobbies. As for quirks, I definitely have a few. I have ADHD and dyslexia, so I can be a little scatterbrained at times, but I promise I mean well! Dislikes are mostly the obvious stuff—people being mean or rude. I also have two very important food opinions: oatmeal raisin cookies are a crime, and pineapple absolutely does not belong on pizza (spawn of the devil). I also prefer to avoid politics entirely, and I'm not a fan of AI being used for character references or story writing. One fun fact about me is that I can make tiramisu completely from scratch, which I'm pretty proud of! My favorite animal is the lion. When it comes to D&D, I absolutely love melee characters. There's just something satisfying about charging into the thick of a fight. That said, I'm trying to branch out and play more spellcasters to expand my comfort zone. No matter what I play, though, I tend to enjoy characters who serve as a light in the darkness—people who try to inspire hope even when everything seems bleak. Looking forward to getting to know everyone! I am currently wanting to find a group who enjoys both serious and fun moments for games! Hello! My name is Sleepy. I am 22 years old and a gender-fluid (AFAB) player that is searching a group to join. My schedule is very flexible, so I can play almost any day or time. By the way, English is not my first language (I speak it fluently though) and I have an accent that I can't get rid of. I have lots of experience playing DnD (and a little bit of other TTRPGs) and was often described as a 'dream player' by my other DMs, because I create interesting characters, let DMs have fun with them and be heavily invested in the lore, creating theories, connecting dots and catching hints like an eagle catching a ball from that one meme. My play style? Love both the role playing aspect and fighting, but I love building a beautiful story with other players the most. I don't fight for spotlight and don't mind others having their moments, sometimes holding a supporting role for a long time. I, myself, love playing a long game with my characters, so I can hold on to my character's secret for years (been there, done that). As for equipment, I have a good mic and a webcam. I rarely cancel DnD sessions unless I absolutely can't attend (so sick that I can't get out of bed, have a flight, etc). I am also pretty open to talking to my party outside DnD, discussing characters, creating content for the party/characters, playing video games and so on.

If I commit to a campaign, you can expect me to show up on time, stay engaged, and respect both the DM's work and my fellow players. I enjoy collaborative storytelling and making sure everyone at the table gets their moment to shine. Some of my biggest fantasy inspirations are *The Lord of the Rings*, *Frieren*, *Baldur's Gate 3*, *The Legend of Vox Machina*, and *The Mighty Nein*. Hi, I'm a 30y/o guy with at least 15 years of TTRPG experience, I've mainly played 5e, but i've tried different systems via oneshots or short campaigns. As a player I'm more combat focused, but don't think that I don't like to RP too. I play a variety of different characters so there's no one trope that I'm known for. I do work for 2-6 weeks at a time offshore, so I wouldn't be able to play for long periods of time. However when I'm home I'm able to make most days and times work. I'm willing to simply sit out during those days if everyone else is willing to play though. Although the systems I'd be more willing to play are 5e and Daggerheart, i'm willing to try others. Been part of a Candela Obscura table for about 2 years every other Tuesday. Love that so much got a tattoo of it. Tried to branch out to roll 20 discord voice for a few months, got enjoyment out of it but i started to feel pressured to 'perform'. I also hated how an entire session could be filled up with just combat. While combat is fun, if it is number crunchy and too long it just feels like a waste of time.  I'm a rp and lore junky. I loved the characters and story of my campaigns, did not care or know really how to make a super powerful and dps build. Which tells me while I prefer combat to be more rp prone.  I'm a 34 year old mailman and husband and father, so time is very tight.  I will post at least 5 posts a day. Depending on the workload and how high maintenance the family is, and if I find the pbp compelling, I might do a lot more. I hope so. That's why I ultimately ended up bowing out of the dnd.  So my next stepping stone in my ttrpg journey is to find a pbp that posts normally that focuses on rp and story. While I appreciate the chaos and uncertainty of the dice it shouldn't be at the deterrent of player creativity, or fun, or rule of cool. But that's just me.  I can learn any system or setting, I'm a smart dude. I value the people and the pc and the story over all. Also, I'm from Kansas. In the US. Normal sleep schedule. So CDT is where I'm at. That has been an issue before. I've never done paid pbp before but if the quality of the campaign, and set up, and pace is good enough I have no issue helping with a few dollars to the gm

I'm Daniel, a 28yo dude looking to play either online or in person in the Minden, Nevada area. Can play pretty much any time on Wednesdays, preferably every other week. Looking for group and DM to play with that meets consistantly for a long term game. Experience: Been playing D&D on and off since maybe 2016, and have DM'd several games, though I'm looking to just be a player. Most of my experience is with 3.5e, though I'm farely familiar with 5e and have played a few one shots. I've also played Pathfinder 1e. Note that I haven't played anything in a few years now, so I may be a little rusty. I'm mostly looking to play D&D5.5e/2024, as I quite like some of the stuff they've done with the races, classes, and backgrounds. I don't know that I want to play a module. I'd rather play in a homebrew game, whether set in the Forgotten Realms or a similar setting. I am also interested in some of the new Ravenloft content. Class/Race Preferences: I love Warlocks and Necromancers first and foremost, but I also enjoy rogues, druids, bladesinger wizards.  Currently itching to play a Reborn GOOlock leaning heavily into some good ol' cosmic horror. Role Play/Combat: My favorite games I've been in were pretty heavy in RP and made me feel an emotional connection to the player characters. At the same time, I do enjoy combat and enjoy the power fantasy of playing strong characters (though I'm also very into making an aesthetically/thematically pleasing character that may not be as strong as they could be). When it comes to combat, I don't like games where every combat encounter is Dark Souls the TTRPG. I don't mind a challenging encounter that makes me think tactically, or even the occasional encounter that isn't meant to be won, but when every encounter feels like the party is severely out-matched, that's when it stops being fun (I've been in one of those kinds of games). As I mentioned before, I do enjoy a good power fantasy, so balancing challenging encounters with some that are a breeze and make the players feel bad-ass, is the way to go for me.  General Content: I like high and dark fantasy, horror, epic stories, emotional connections between characters. While I tend to lean toward serious characters and stories, comedic relief is more than welcome (and generally inevitable in my experience).  Adult Content: I'm fine with mature themes if everyone else is.

Hi, I am Memlo, 18 years old and male  .... I started DnD few years ago but then stopped as the group broken down. Fast froward to now I am DM in my school DND club. I have a few oneshots behind me and one campaign, otherwise I was the player. Still some rules are vague to me so I apologise forward if I get smth wrong. Also I played mostly online except this year where I DMed in person but on a blackboard. I would be available mostly on weekends or during week after 19pm every day. I love homebrew content, for races like the Demi-dragon homebrew book, items or monsters. I am a real dragon lover btw. I used dnd beyond for monster characters but for the campaigns online I used Owlbear.

Not interested in paid games. Hi! My name is Mars (She/They) and I've been playing ttrpgs for nearly a decade now! My timezone is MST and my available hours are typically after Early Afternoon MST (think after 1pm MST) I'm Bi and Trans, just to get that out up front. I consider myself an immersion-first kind of player, I like to make my decisions in character with the same thought process my characters would if possible. Not to say that I'm not "above" superceding my characters' "own" decision if needed, but that's how I like to play when convenient. I'm also a forever DM, and I have experience teaching new DMs, the hard part is just getting them to commit to taking up the mantle. I tend to like to play as characters that I've conceptualized beforehand, but deliberately make a bit hollow initially so that I can customize them to better fit within any campaign I might find myself joining.

Hiii there my name is Liam (he/him) and a few things about me is that I'm 21 years old and I've played mostly homebrew games. I prefer roleplay heavy games compared to combat heavy but i love to play both. Besides Dnd I also make kandi beaded jewelry and play video games with me currently playing Fallout New Vegas and Moonlight Peaks I am open to playing locally but I'm more open to play online as I don't like to drive much. I have Discord (friendlyfang.) and have previously used Roll20 and briefly scrolled on Foundry. I also have previously played in a Blooddborne inspired game and that was alot of fun with the dark elements but.
