I have no idea what to put on these things. I am wanting to get back into playing, and found this platform. I am fairly flexible with my schedule and I'm hoping to find an in person game group. I have been delving into the 5.5 2024 D&D, and have several characters concepts that I would like to try. I don't want to have to travel too far, but I can travel a little to meet for games. Hiya. Been playing pathfinder for about 7yrs. DM'd multiuple games for a group of friends, but prefer being a player most of the time nowadays. Enjoy creating interesting characters, some very min-maxxed, others are just flavourful, depending on the group. Happy to play most roles for the party. In terms of overral pathfinder experience, I played in one normal pathfinder game, one game using mythical power, and one using pathfinder spheres of power. So I can play any game of pathfinder using those, I am mostly interrest in using spheres of power, but its not mandatory; I can play without it. For time: my timezone is gmt-3 and the days I can play are tuesday, friday(at night) saturday I can use both roll20 and foundry, however I have yet to play pathfinder 1e using foundry, my pathfinder games were on roll20 thanks for reading.

Hello, nice to meet you! I've been casually on the tertiary of the TTRPG hobby for the better part of 16 years and I'd like to get out there and actually play some more games. The systems listed on my post are all systems I have at least a passing familiarity with but I'm also super open to playing homebrewed and custom systems as well. Socially as a player, I am not one who chases the spotlight but can be a bit of an instigator especially if the rest of my party is lost for direction. I am not one to really argue with the rullings of a DM or attempt to "get my way" in a disruptive manner; we're playing co-op pretend, it's really not that worth getting worked up over. I love to explore other systems, as well, and have played more than my fair share of the White Wolf systems (especially, Vampire), The Mistborn Adventure Game and now the Cosmere RPG, Call of Cthulu, and the unofficial Pokemon TTRPGs (Pokemon: Tabletop United and Pokemon: Tabletop Adventures). I haven't picked up a systems that I've been truly unfamiliar with in over a decade. Hi, I'm James from the UK. I've been playing and GMing tabletop RPGs for a long time, and I enjoy trying different systems rather than sticking with one game. As you can probably tell from my system list, my tastes are pretty broad! I've played or run everything from Savage Worlds and Dragonbane to Alien, The One Ring, Star Wars, PbtA games, Blades in the Dark and plenty of others. I'm especially interested in Outgunned right now. I enjoy games where the players actually roleplay with each other rather than everything going through the GM. I like character interaction, collaborative storytelling and giving everyone their chance in the spotlight. Combat is great too, especially when it's exciting and has some narrative weight behind it. As a GM, I'm not interested in trying to beat the players. I want to give them situations to interact with, see what they come up with and make their characters look cool while still giving them meaningful challenges. As a player, I bring the same attitude: work with the group, support other people's moments, and help move things forward. I'm UK-based and mainly play online using Foundry VTT and Discord. Hi! I'm Tako, I'm 25, and I just graduated from university. I'm from Texas, and some of my biggest hobbies are anime, video games, baking, TTRPGs, history, and, of course, sleeping. I've been playing D&D for around 7... maybe 8 years now? It's honestly been so long that I've lost count, but it's become one of my favorite hobbies. As for quirks, I definitely have a few. I have ADHD and dyslexia, so I can be a little scatterbrained at times, but I promise I mean well! Dislikes are mostly the obvious stuff—people being mean or rude. I also have two very important food opinions: oatmeal raisin cookies are a crime, and pineapple absolutely does not belong on pizza (spawn of the devil). I also prefer to avoid politics entirely, and I'm not a fan of AI being used for character references or story writing. One fun fact about me is that I can make tiramisu completely from scratch, which I'm pretty proud of! My favorite animal is the lion. When it comes to D&D, I absolutely love melee characters. There's just something satisfying about charging into the thick of a fight. That said, I'm trying to branch out and play more spellcasters to expand my comfort zone. No matter what I play, though, I tend to enjoy characters who serve as a light in the darkness—people who try to inspire hope even when everything seems bleak. Hey, I'm Carn. I have about 6 years of TTRPG experience on both sides of the table across a small handful of systems. My schedule is fairly free currently, so I'm not especially picky about timeframe or game frequency. I tend to enjoy creating characters tied to already existing structures within the world in order to both work with the DM to flesh out a central region or organization of the campaign and anchor that character to a set of themes and locales that will likely be relevant to the campaign. I'm bigger on roleplay than combat, though I have no qualms with combat. I have no problem with character death so long as it is established as a possible threat from the getgo.

I prefer a relaxed roleplaying style that focuses on enjoyment of the game experience over power gaming the system.

Greetings all! I have been playing TTRPGs on and off for 25 years and although I am naturally more combat-focused, I have been wanting to improve my roleplaying skills a bit more. Not that I think I am awful at roleplay, but we all have room for improvement and that just feels like the skill I could do better in. I started out GM'ing and have been ran probably 60-75% of the campaigns I have been involved in, so I am very open to either a player or GM role. Right now I am just looking to have fun, so i am not looking to pay or be paid to play a game right now. Maybe if I have time in the future, I will start doing "professional" gamemastering, but as of right now I am just looking for a group to have fun with and build a mutually enjoyable world together. My hobbies include long walks along brimstone cliffs overlooking seas of magma, making dubious pacts, and occasionally peering into the endless abyss just to see if it waves back. I’m looking for a long-term campaign and have a pretty flexible schedule overall. I’m in the EST time zone. The only caveat is that I have my daughter every other week, so on those weeks I can’t play until after 8:30 PM EST on weekdays. I’d love to join a homebrew campaign. I’m a big fan of Spelljammer and Eberron, but honestly I’m happy to dive into just about any setting if the group is fun. I’m happy to build a character that complements the party, but I have a soft spot for Warlocks. Not interested in paid games. Hi! My name is Mars (She/They) and I've been playing ttrpgs for nearly a decade now! My timezone is MST and my available hours are typically after Early Afternoon MST (think after 1pm MST) I'm Bi and Trans, just to get that out up front. I consider myself an immersion-first kind of player, I like to make my decisions in character with the same thought process my characters would if possible. Not to say that I'm not "above" superceding my characters' "own" decision if needed, but that's how I like to play when convenient. I'm also a forever DM, and I have experience teaching new DMs, the hard part is just getting them to commit to taking up the mantle. I tend to like to play as characters that I've conceptualized beforehand, but deliberately make a bit hollow initially so that I can customize them to better fit within any campaign I might find myself joining.

We've both ended up being the forever DMs in our own group, and whenever one of us gets to play, it's usually because the other is running the game. We'd really love the chance to finally be players together and actually roleplay alongside each other for once. I'm Nik, in my late thirties and ageing like Keanu. I'm from the UK, run my games online via Foundry VTT and am a friendly and chilled guy, but most definitely a forever DM. I've only ever had the chance to play to the end of the first book of Pathfinders Legacy of Fire, so the games I'd love to play from start to finish (in order of most wanted to least for each system) are: Pathfinder 1 - Curse of the Crimson Throne, Return of the Runelords, Kingmaker. Pathfinder 2 - Any of the above converted to 2E, or anything else. D&D 5E - Curse of Strahd. Call of Cthulhu - Never played, but with the right DM, would love to try it.
