Old-timer who loves dark character-driven narratives and intrigue with the occasional splash of color 😁  My name is Erin (she/they), I'm Danish, in my 40s and I'm a retired IT specialist who enjoys fiction and games. Basically I'm looking for a new amatuer Glass Cannon / Critical Role style online experience since my previous group disbanded. Like a long campaign where people are on cam and put a bit of effort into it all. I am however also interested in more casual and voice only games if the fit and the vibe is really solid, as well as local games in the greater Copenhagen area. Some of my favorite settings are Vampire the Masquerade, Planescape, Eclipse Phase and Cyberpunk, while for systems I quite admire Wild Words and Forged in the Dark because of their reactive and collaborative nature. As a contrast, my least favorite games would be large groups that's all about combat, optimising, winning and doing progression in a strict system. So, about me, been playing for 11-12 years, started out GMing and probably on the whole find that the more rewarding part of the hobby, but I enjoy playing as well. Played quite a range of systems by this point; did my mandatory few years of D&D and Pathfinder, actually started with Dark Heresy. But I've run Shadowrun briefly, Mutants and Masterminds, dipped my toes in World of Darkness.  I think a benefit of my time behind the screen is that I'm relatively flexible in what I enjoy. I can go for deep and character driven games, but I also appreciate the fun of a good dungeoncrawl or epic combat. I'm absolutely a sucker for intrigue, but I'm not above playing characters dumb as a brick. I'm perhaps overly comfortable playing morally grey grand bastards, but when I think of my favourite recent characters, the Lawful Good Rogue probably ranks as the most compelling.  I'll admit, though I'm by no means someone who can only enjoy hyper-simulationist games, I do occasionally tend to press up against overly artificial system restrictions. In Starfinder, my character did over time trend towards 'why don't we vent the airlock before we go in... soften them up.', and in general, I see a balanced encounter and will often think 'how can rig the deck a bit more in my favour'. Also not a big fan of 'Narrative' games, like Powered by the Apocalypse. For whatever reason, they are the one genre I've never quite meshed with.  But yeah, I am generally open to try different systems, and flexible about my exact role in whatever party I join.

I'm Nick, I'm a 32yo male/AMAB non-binary person, with a few years of experience playing D&D 3.5, D&D 5.0, and CoC 7th. I'm a little burnt out on those (mostly D&D/high fantasy) so I'd prefer to play a different system, but I'm not against those systems if the campaign is appealing enough. I'm open-minded, intelligent, and a quick learner so picking up new systems is pretty easy for me. The systems that appeal to me the most right now are Mutants & Masterminds, Cyberpunk, Mothership, Kult, Unknown Armies, any World/Chronicles of Darkness system, or any obscure or homebrew horror system (any setting with heavy horror). My ideal group would consist of people around my age but I'll play with anyone 18+. I'm friendly and get along with pretty much everyone, and have thick skin so I don't mind banter, darker themes, or adult content. LGBTQIA+ friendly (obviously lol), female friendly, POC friendly. I'm also not going to get too antsy if we get a little derailed from play sometimes, especially with goofier groups, but I love serious play just as much. Currently looking to play weekly on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday, during evenings/nights. Saturdays are undesirable at the moment but if I really love the campaign idea I can make the time for it. I can't play Tuesday afternoons and both Wednesday and Sunday are off limits at the moment. Long term campaigns are ideal. I'm a pretty dedicated player, I rarely miss sessions. Any VTT is fine (I love Foundry), theater of the mind is also fine. I'm not a big fan of Roll20 but I'll use it if I have to lol. I have and use Discord regularly. I also would pefer not to be on cam, but I do have a webcam. However I do not want to be recorded and posted on the public internet so skip me if you're running on a stream, youtube recording, podcast, etc. Recordings for private note-taking purposes are okay but do not post them online publicly. I love creating characters (especially flawed characters) so I usually have several character ideas for multiple systems either ready-to-play or brewing, even for systems I've ever played (such as M&M 3e, Unknown Armies, Kult, etc). I'm flexible enough to stick with RAW or go full homebrew, I will always work with the DM to ensure that my character is suitable for their campaign, especially if we dive into heavy homebrew. I generally prefer not to min/max but I'm not against it, I just find flawed characters (mechanical and flavor) to be far more interesting and fun to play. I don't meta game, backseat game, rules lawyer, and I don't have main character syndrome (if anything I'm a little shy of the limelight). I can also handle bad outcomes and character death, I believe that's just part of the storytelling aspect of TTRPGs. I love roleplay, combat, exploration, puzzle solving, pretty much every aspect of TTRPGs so I'm generally comfortable with any ratio. I also sometimes to photo-manipulation/digital collage art, drawn art (digital and traditional), etc for my character, other characters, campaigns, but I'm not very good at it (yet). Usually this is for comedic effect or out of necessity. I also do art and writing outside of TTRPG play. Not interested in play-by-post or paid games, sorry.

Hi, I’m Chris. I’m an experienced D&D player and GM who enjoys story-driven campaigns with a good balance of roleplay, exploration, investigation, and combat. I especially enjoy gothic horror, dark fantasy, Ravenloft-style settings, and campaigns where character choices have meaningful consequences. Well met, stranger. I'm hiddenson. I've played different rpgs since the 90's, mostly as GM. I prefer GMing because I love world building and long-term campaigns. I revel in many layered plots that peel like a bag of onions, tuning preset worlds to my signature flavor of horror and hardcore mechanics. My style is deeply immersive, roleplay heavy, and Rule of Cool. I prefer acting in the first person with people who invest creativity in their characters. At the moment, I'd like to focus on horror games and Cyberpunk. I'd love to play other settings of the World of Darkness. I have extensive experience in Call of Cthulhu in the 1920's as well as in Cyberpunk 2020 so I'll adapt to new editions easily. Lastly, I have little to no experience in the other titles, but I'm eager to try them out. I lean into characters hungry for lore rather than riches. Think erudite professors risking their sanity in eldritch tomes, or tomb raiding archaeologists uncovering more than they bargained for. I recently launched a paid Vampire: The Masquerade Chronicle, so I'm willing to trade seats if our playstyles and game list match. hello! i'm xias. im a grad student in estonia i've played dnd before a few years ago but, i dont remember the specifics which is why i feel like my level is still on the beginner level. i do catch onto systems relatively quick but, i do struggle with the maths a bit in dnd haha. i've got experience with morkborg and don't mind trying more of the borgs honestly, i had fun! i've played cyberpunk:red for a bit, which is always a nice time. the game i have the most experience with is vtm but, i've played a homebrewed combined version of v20 and v3/revised haha.  im willing to try out new systems though, just looking to get into playing again since i haven't in a while :) since i've gotten a few dms abt it, i am only willing to pay for games if they are in person haha. thanks!

Indepth discussions between characters, debates about what to do in different situations. Being challenged on morality of what is happening. Highs of wins fought through hard work and the sting of defeats felt through the whole group, ending in commiseration at the tavern as our characters mourn the loss of a favored NPC. Roleplay is what I love most about TTRPG's. I've been playing them since I was 12 years old (I am now 41), and while at the time it was because of all the cool monsters and stuff, even then I was captured by the different stories you could tell. I would love to share in the telling of the stories with you and your group. I've got extensive experience in a number of different systems from D&D in various incarnations to World of Darkness and Chronicles of Darkness to Masks, Stars Without Number and Fantasy Flight Star Wars. I'm always up for learning a new system! I've also GMed my fair share of games in the past, but am just looking to play right now due to my health right now (I am disabled) That isn't to say I -don't- like the tactical and exploration aspects of the game. When it comes to combat I tend to be more of a tactition sort of player, analyzing the playfield and trying to figure out the enemy. Though that hasn't ever stopped me from making the -stupid- decisions because they were in character. Story and plot over mechanical wins for me every time.  Failure is always an option. It  never is an end point, because it just gives new opportunities for story, even if it stings and hurts in the moment. We find the motivation in that. Current Availability: Tuesday and Thursday evenings weekly. Monday evenings and Saturday days every other week.

Hello! I'm Mia, player/GM with about 5-years experience though a variety of different games and systems. I play frequently with friend groups online, and I'm looking to expand into a wider community and find new stories to play in! Building worlds with my table is always my biggest joy - I love to work with other players to find character development and interesting ways to interact and encourage each other. My characters are usually influenced by other media (Final Fantasy, robot fiction, gaming hyperfixations) - playing with my toys and dissecting what makes them tick and rebuilding them as something new. As a GM, I tend to lean to pre-established settings and lore books for inspiration, though I have also put plenty of work into creating my own campaign settings. I typically play with mid-high fantasy, sci-fi, or even historical settings on occassion.

Hey there! I have been playing TTRPGs for over ten years now. I started in college and havent been able to stop since. I love the more roleplay centered games but I can be Big Dawg and throw down when needed. Most of my experience comes from DnD 5E and Monster of the Week. Ive started learning Vampire the Masqurade but my group hasnt made it very far with that. Im familiar with the rolls and character building so I am mostly there.  I typically play a rogue, warlock, or wizard. I really enjoy the stealth based play style you get with a rogue or being able to manipulate the universe at my finger tips that you get with warlock and wizard. I am pretty flexible though and can play to what the party needs. In DnD I have played every class published in 5E so I am pretty familiar with most pkay styles and how to balance out hte party.

I've been a World of Darkness player since the mid-'90s, though I haven't played as much since college and I'd like to change that. Vampire: the Masquerade is my personal favorite, but I like all the classic WoD lines. I also would like to try some other, lesser-known systems, but I have much less familiarity with their rulesets. I'm a roleplayer first, but I do enjoy some combat as well; I can get into most types of stories, though I'm usually not wild about romance. I like anything that really allows a deep, sustained exploration of the setting and its themes, as well as the backstories of all the characters involved. I'd love to find a weekly game, but as long as the schedule is consistent, I can be flexible.

Hi! After around 7 years of constantly DMing (and 3 years without being a player at all) I'm looking for a group to join in. Ideally, I would prefer to join a VtM chronicle or something else WoD adjustent, but atp I'm open to anything. Schedule: I'm open to any time/day except for Monday and Sunday (Sometimes Saturday, but I will tell you a week before). So what do I have in stock? - Passionate player. I'm usually REALLY into the game. I make memes, I draw and I engage. I WILL interact with NPCs, hints, little pieces of lore and whatever DM has to offer. - Sharing spotlight. I understand how important it is for everyone to have their time to shine and I love to hear and see what other PCs have to offer! - Respecting the DM and other players. I understand all the struggles of being a DM firsthand, so I won't put the DM through the same stuff. I do little to no metagame or rule lawyering, except when I have out of character question regarding something (however, I will not do things like ACTUALLY trains dont work that way). I value the time of people involved and always notify if something goes wrong beforehand. I won't give any unnecessary feedback unless asked for (although I'm usually very positive to any stuff) - No-drama person. I just want to live a quiet life and enjoy my games without irl drama (Several of my games died cuz of player's drama). Even IF I will have problems with another player, I tend to separate game and reality. - Direct. I will not dissapear on you or keep quiet if something is wrong-wrong (like I got triggered or offended), I know how to speak words through my mouth, lmao. But it's all out of the game, of course, I don't tend to ruin anyone's fun. - I'm actually roleplaying. I LOVE theathricals and to be in-character during the game. I also understand that any in-game stuff doesn't affect our out-of-the-game relationships or views. Also, I have very miniscule amount of themes I find offensive (in-game) or triggering. After all I like WoD and it often tends to touch sensitive stuff. - Well, I can DM in the future, since I love doing it! But for now I need a little break. As a side note it's completely okay if u wanna interview me before the game to see if we vibe with each other. What I'm looking for? - Free to play game. Honestly, I don't find this type of games genuine enough, but I will gladly donate to DM if I have some spare money as a thank-you :) - Narratively-driven game. Although I know that sometimes battle mechanics and other stuff is neccessary, I like to be able to connect with other characters, NPC, play my character and have some drama of course. - Openminded DM. I would prefer to have a DM who is not super to-the-book type. Sometimes, scene needs cinematography for the sake of cinematography and it's often tend to bend some rules. Also, I'm very open to homebrews and other stuff, so it would be cool if DM was too. Although, to be honest my most homebrew stuff was pink tiefling lol. - LGBTQA+/neurodivergent friendly group. I want to play with people where I can be openly myself and don't need to mask or anything. If you think that we're a match made in heaven - I will be glad to get to know you or your group!

Hello!! I am Mix, at least that is what I get called often. I have played Dungeons and Dragons for 2 to 3 years now and have primarily been a Dungeon Master. The couple of times I've been a player, the campaign has fallen short and people have stopped playing. I love exploration and incorporating myself as a player. I do love roleplaying as my character, usually chaotic good or neutral, and make stuff up as we go. I am from Denmark! I speak fluent danish and english and understand very little german. The guide that I'm reading is telling me to say a fun fact, like a character concept, so here it is: I would LOVE to play a Warlock who doesn't know who his patron is. It would be so funny to roleplay, and when someone asks "woah, where'd you get so powerful?" my character would just say "I... I have no idea?"

Hey! I'm Josh, gay, 36, and I recently moved to NYC. I've played D&D a little bit before, but I'm still very much a newer player. I know the basics, but will have questions regarding some nuanced rules.  I'm looking for a group that's cool with that and doesn't take things too seriously. I'm really drawn to the storytelling side of D&D. I love getting invested in characters, mysteries, weird worlds, plot twists, darker stories, and seeing where everything goes. I'm a huge horror and sci-fi fan, and generally love anything that's a little strange, creepy, funny, or completely unhinged. I'm also into fantasy, video games, board games, movies and TV! I'm pretty easygoing when it comes to the actual campaign. I'm happy to learn, try different character types, and work with the DM and the rest of the group rather than showing up with some elaborate character that absolutely has to fit into the campaign. I'm also not particularly interested in min/maxing or trying to "win". I mostly want to make a character and see what happens to them. Outside of D&D, I work in fashion/tech and spend a lot of my free time gaming, watching horror movies, going to the movies, checking out bars/restaurants, playing board games, or finding some new show to get obsessed with. I'm open to online or in-person games. For in-person I'm in Manhattan, but I don't mind traveling within NYC. I'd especially love to find a recurring group where everyone gets along and eventually becomes the kind of group that might grab drinks, play other games, see a movie, etc. outside of D&D too.

Hello!  My name is Niko and I am 24 years old. I am non-binary and a member of the LGBT+ community. I just recently moved to the Twin Cities from Chicago and I am looking for a group to join in the area to get myself out of my house. I work from home so D&D was always a creative outlet for me and a way to make new friends :)  I have a lot of experience playing D&D 5e. When I was younger, we had a family campaign my father DMed for my siblings and I every weekend and then I continued on to join more campaigns and even become a DM for an online campaign with some friends of mine. I really miss the experience of being a player though and I am excited to try and find a new group to join. I also have some experience playing City of Mist but I would say I am more of a beginner for that. I am open to learning a new system with a patient and understanding DM though! I absolutely love character making, I can dive into a character's lore and backstory to fully flesh them out. Roleplaying is probably the biggest part of D&D I enjoy the most, though I also love combat, exploration, and the other aspects of the game as well.  In my free time, I love to play video games like Overwatch, Dead by Daylight, Red Dead Redemption II, BG3, and more. I also am apart of the goth community, enjoying going to different events in the Twin Cities area along with enjoying gothic literature, movies/shows, and exploring different music genres. Hihi!! I'm a 21yo trans guy (he/him) who's getting back into DND after a couple of years of not playing. I'm used to being the DM but now I'm looking to step into the shoes of a player! I love roleplay-heavy campaigns, but combat is still a vital part of the game to me. I especially enjoy long campaigns with detailed world-building where the player characters feel like a part of the world and story. I like dark themes and corrupt governments a lot, so if your game has both, I am SAT! But I'm also down for a more lighthearted experience as long as the dm can still put my character through all sorts of trials and tribulations (emotionally or physically). Speaking of characters, I have a lot of old concepts lying around that I'd love to use, so no matter what kind of story you're telling, I'm sure I can find one that'll fit your world. Also down to craft a completely new character ofc! I'm also down to play homebrew systems, and I'm intrigued by Vampire: The Masquerade since I'm a sucker (lol) for vampires! The only thing I am not into is pre-made stories (Curse of Strahd, etc.), but the story/world can definitely be inspired by one or many. I'm familiar with dnd beyond, but other VTTs are still a mystery to me, although I am a fast learner when it comes to these things. I'm free to play almost whenever, but I don't like staying up too late, so games between 1am-10am (EET/EEST) are a no for me. Any other time I'm free on most days. Howdy, My name is Jenny, pronouns are She/They, andI have been playing TTRPGs for nearly a decade now! Always looking to add a game where I can fit it into my schedule either after work or on my days off. Either way,I would describe myself as reliable and comitted to showing up to games on time, as well as giving my GM a character with a bckstory and relevant hooks! As you may have guessed, Imost enjoy character and narrative driven games where the story and lore matter, as do player/character choices. I am a massive fan of fleshing out my character, as well as others, in RP both trivial and important to the narrative, anything to immerse us further in the story and world. I also enjoy combat, and am a firm believer thatRP doesn't have to end when initiative is rolled. I enjoy flavoring my attacks,chanting my verbal componants, and digging into how my hero reacts to the action! I am a huge fan of the Legend of Drizzt books and have been steadily working my way through the series. I also enjoy the Percy Jackson books, I've begun The Stormlight Archives! I am a big fan of World of Warcraft, Dragon Age Origins, Baldur's Gate 3, the Pathfinder CRPGs, and many more games in similar veins.
