Hello everyone! My name is Nathan (they/them), I'm 24, and I am looking for a long term dnd group to join or make together! I’m a slight newcomer to the actual act of playing dnd, but not to the concept or actual game. I’m a big fan of Dimension 20 and Critical Role, and I’m also in two “ongoing” games with friends from school. However, when I say “ongoing,” I mean that they’ve somewhat fallen off due to scheduling conflicts… To give you an idea of what I’m like as a player — I am a storyteller at heart! (This is not AI I swear please do not come after me for the em dash I’m a writer). I’ve been acting for most of my young adulthood to the present, and I am currently writing an original novel! I pride myself on utilizing empathy to put myself in the shoes of a character, “good or bad”, to understand how they might feel in a given moment, how they might react to a certain situation, and what events would give them the most interesting character arc. That sense of empathy also extends to my group! Of course I value my character and their story very much, but what is dnd if not making a story together? The most important part for me is ensuring that we’re all having fun, that our characters are interacting well, and that my character is a part of the living and breathing world around them. At first, he was the same as any other faun, a slave to earthly passions and his body's base desires. His first destination on his tour of the mortal planes was a temple dedicated to mastery of the body, where he learned that he much preferred self-control and mindfulness to raucous abandon. In the decades since then, he has perfected the temple's teachings, adapting its precepts into a martial art focused on hoof strikes and butting with one's horns. This is not to say that Hammond is your archetypical monastic wanderer, roaming the countryside in search of evil to slay. He is still very much a Satyr, even if his preferred sin has changed from gluttony and lust to pride. He is tactless, boastful, quick tempered, fond of drink, and convinced there is no issue that cannot be solved with his fists. Yet at the same time, he is compassionate, empathetic, mindful, conscientious, and possessed of a strong sense of justice. I've suddenly become possessed with the desire to play this character. This starts as a short adventure, in an island, in the far southern seas. As the party explores, one island after another, an arc story begins to emerge. This is based on The Isle of Dread, Drums on Fire Mountain, Tomb of Annihilation, Ghost of Saltmarsh, Lost Shrine of Tamoachan and a few other similar quality adventures. The setting is an unchartered continent, Borneo-island style or the Amazon forest. The vibes are movies like King Kong, Indiana Jones, Aguirre the Wrath of God, The Mysterious Cities of Gold, Stargate, Jurassic Park, Ghostbuster. A jungle full of mysteries, a legendary past starting at the birth of Time, death and disintegration à gogo. Many countries, including the Greyhawk Federation, your employer, want to colonize, install settlers, trade with the natives, plunder mineral, botanical, faunal and archaeological resources. Last thing. Some players say i conduct a "die hard" dungeon mastering style, where a single mistake can cost you your life, if you ignore more or less subtle warning signs. This is not for the faint of the heart. It is hyper-realistic style, i think is the correct name. It's not a walk in the park, it is more like Hellboy style. But there are also smooth riding sessions. 10% Combat, 30% roleplay, 60% exploration. Mostly exploration, around 40 dungeon crawls. More social before level 5. More exploration, widening scope and risk, up to L10. Rise of power and strategy, up to L15. Whimsical after L15. World changing after L20. Out of this world and time after L25 (and 112 sessions, thoroughly play-tested).

Hey i am looking for a Homebrew game or a pre-existing Adventure (Ex: Rise of Tiamat, Strahd, etc.) to play with a group of any people, wether new or veteran. Ok so the subclass is like a mentioned before based on the Blue Mage from FF, so the main abilities is that whenever the user is solely targeted by the creatures non-weapon attack they can use there reaction once to role CON saving throw but the DC is pretty high if the damage is over 10 hp, after rolling if you succeed then you get to copy that feature in a list of abilities depending on your level. 29, she/they, UK [5e 2014][5e 2024] Looking For Campaigns/Groups To Join Long-time player who would love to join a chill group that would be happy to accommodate someone with not the best schedule due to life stuff but loves to play. My characters are: Ilmlaunim Arabana, Heart of the Moonrise (She/Her): A neutral good, tranquil, drow life clerical hemit of Eilistraee. Specialising in unarmoured thaumaturgy, and healing, with the slightest dash of monk for defence and mobility. Faer Many-Voices (They/Them): A neutral good, mischievous, fun-loving, glamour/celestial changeling bardlock skill-monkey. Weaving buffs, debuffs, and a side of healing through performance and song. With all the queer sass and audacity. Thana (They/Them): A true neutral, dark, brooding, phantom changeling rogue assassin-for-hire. Hiding in the shadows, or infiltrating enemy lines before delivering devastating blows at range or in melee. All the while, discovering their true place in the world, whilst being on the run from their upper-class abusive family. My ideal is using 2014 and 2024 in tandem with each other as I view this as both optimal gameplay and role-playing. I.e. Ilmlaunim would gain the features of both 2014's cleric subclassing, and 2024's heavy armour proficiency or thaumaturge features. (Thaumaturge would be selected in this instance, forgoing heavy armour proficiency.) Also gaining access to permanently prepared Cure Wounds and Bless at level 1. One trade off being I take 2014's drow debuff to sunlight. I would be more than happy to discuss this in detail with anyone who's interested, or I'd be OK to use one or the other. Hi! I'm Conor, and I am a GM! I'll start that I'm 15, so I'm looking for other teens, so with that said, I've been GMing TTRPGs for around 3 years now, playing for 4, mostly D&D. I'm new to Cyberpunk: Red, though, and am excited to run something! My GMing style is very action packed, many high-octane setpieces and fun characters. I pride myself on my characters, in fact. Most NPCs have unique voices, and are fleshed out without feeling overbearing. My players love my villains, who I think I make unique and menacing and pretty cool. I make my own worlds, as well, so don't expect Night City or the Forgotten Realms. If you like roleplay and story, I enable that. I don't welcome NSFW unless its like, gory, or something for flavor in the world. Basically, no sex scenes or anything, but mature themes regardless. Hi, I'm Andrew (he/him). I'm in my early 30s, and a life-long fantasy addict, and almost life-long RPG fanatic. I am located on the US East Coast, and work a typical Monday-Friday 9-5 + commute. I have been both a player and DM for D&D 5E, and I have a lot of background/system knowledge for 3.5e as well. I'm also interested in lots of other systems, especially Shadowrun and Legends of Avallen. I'd be interested in playing or DMing. I tend to prefer high/epic fantasy, such as Lord of the Rings, Forgotten Realms, Dragonlance, etc., but I also enjoy a little bit of grit, or sci-fi settings as well. I tend not to prefer games that stray too far from the core rulebooks / core conceits of the system. For example, games with tabaxi and artificers tend not to appeal to me. I already have a long-running game Sunday evenings, and some other constraints as well, but I'm open to a variety of schedule options. I'd like to play consistently, but I don't mind being flexible about when as long as everyone shows up consistently and is also flexible.

Hello! This is my second time giving DnD a try. First happened 12 years ago. Nothing dramatic happened, just life made a good point that it wasn't a good time for fun (I hope now it is). Can't say I learned a lot and became very good, but got the idea of TTRPG. I used to be more storyteller in style but I am currently playing with character-driven emergent role-play styles and sandbos-style campaigns. I have a great deal of respect for OSR-type games and am pretty obsessed with it at the moment.
