Hello! Forever DM here looking to stretch my legs and experience other people's worlds as an actual player. I have around 10 years on and off experience playing and running tabletop games. I've ran almost all the modern "popular" systems at least once and some systems like Lancer and Hc Svnt Dracones here and there. Likewise, I've played several with my very first being things like Deadlands and Star Wars EotG. As a result, this kind of makes 5e feel a bit empty to me, one of the few reasons I struggle to find games especially with my off times frame of availability. I prefer systems that either go all in on narrative abilities like WoD and Cypher or systems with a ton of crunch and deep builds like Pathfinder, Lancer, and Ars Magica. (though that last one I have never actually gotten a session in) I am typically an exploration and Roleplay focused player with a love of combat though I typically prefer it in bursts rather than it being the some focus UNLESS that was the pitch and we're playing a borderline war game with roleplay interludes. Even then... I like there to be those roleplay interludes and prefer DMs who enjoy them too rather than begrudgingly adding them. My availability is typically past 9PM MST all the way up to 1-2PM the next say, or 2100-1400 for you military time folks, Monday through Wednesday. I CAN make it on weekends but only late at night my time since I'll be at work and that will be a factor in my interactions.

Hello. My name is Gabe (32m)(he/him). I like solving puzzles and mysteries, and am probably a little more interested in role-play than combat in that regard, unless combat can be turned into a puzzle to solve. What I enjoy most though is figuring out ways to McGyver solutions to problems from the tools and materials available to me. I'm autistic, and am generally better at writing than acting/improv. I tried a PbP game on Discord a while back, and it seemed to be working well for me, but the DM had to cancel. I've DMed a little for my sibling and their friend (taking some serious liberties with the game mechanics and mostly making stuff up as I went), and I have a passing acquaintance with 5e, BitD, and Fate (Unwritten), (mostly through YouTube), but have never actually been a player and would like to be; hoping to make some friends. I'd prefer a game that's mostly PG-rated, (just personal preference), and I don't mind playing fast and loose with the rules for comedic effect or for the "Rule of Cool." I'm available just about any time Mon-Thurs (PST), but my schedule may change. Again, PbP would give me greater flexibility in regards to time.
