Experienced (but still learning) friendly online VTT gamer (Foundry) based in Northumberland UK that already GM's a group online (Sunday evenings every two weeks) but looking to either play or GM new group online through the week. I'm Mark! I'm a 50-something tabletop enthusiast. Been playing and GMing since my early teens. I love both traditional board and card games and RPGs. I'm a video game developer professionally and a hobbyist game designer on the side. I enjoy running RPGs in multiple genres and systems. My current go-to "official" system is Index Card RPG, and I have two homebrew systems in development. I'm not a huge fan of D&D because of the cost, heavy ruleset, and recent direction in terms of subscription model and social posturing. I currently GM semi-regularly for my son and daughter and their friends -- all in their early twenties. I'm comfortable running games for any age group. My sessions are a mix of action and role-playing and strictly PG-13. I'm interested in finding more groups for either board/card gaming or fantasy, science-fiction, or superhero role-playing. I prefer in-person play to VTTs but I don't rule out the latter. Would love to find some mixed-age groups in the Broomfield area for semi-regular sessions (sometimes we crunch at work, so I can't always guarantee availability). Hi  I live in Gran kommune, one hour north of Oslo in Norway.  I have been playing and GMing since the 1980s. I believe that i am a suportive player. I some times struggle with atttention, so I prefere shorter sessions, especially online.   My GM style is balanced, but with a tendencie for "Action bias". I am not strong on "tactical combat"  and optimal character-builds, and prefere creativity, rulings over rules and theater of the mind. (Even thogh I own four 3d printers and to much terrain and miniatures :) )  I prefere to run scenarioes and campeigns with some investigation, exploration and mystery over classic dungeon crawls.

Hey folks! I'm Hastur and I love finding new ways to play games. I've been playing off and on since 2016 and started GMing in 2023. I tend to like OSR style games, but really I like anything where we can try to solve problems, fail miserably, and laugh about it. I welcome (character) death. I'm not looking for a long term campaign on either side of the table, but I'm down for one-shots, few-shots, and mini-campaigns.  I'm a fan of Christopher Buehlman, Frank Herbert, Martin Scorsese, and Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show. Most of my inspiration for games comes from power metal. I'll play anything once, but I'd love to play Dune, Shadowdark, anything ICRPG, The Wildsea, Land of Eem... I guess anything really as long as it's with fun people!

Hello fellow RPG gamers, I'm Mark! I started playing D&D back in the 80's, Holmes Basic (bluebox), then AD&D (1e). Eventually drifted in and out of the hobby, but have been playing almost weekly since 2014. Played a few systems over the years, D&D most of all. I usually DM/GM, but also enjoy rolling up a character and adventuring. I love all aspects of RPGs; combat, exploration, problem solving, group synergy, social interactions, etc. For me, RPGs are as much about the people as the plot. I’m a social DM/GM and player who values gaming friends rather than just running through mechanics. My sessions strike a balance between a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, and high-stakes drama when the story demands it. I also like character-driven narratives weaved into the campaign. This can come from backstories, or more importantly, from the ongoing story developed through the game. Over the last 10+ years I've mostly ran/played some great D&D5e games, but would like to focus on other games. Recently I've been into OSR games with some modern mechanics; like Dungeon Crawl Classics, Shawdowdark, Dragonbane, and a few others.
