Dungeons and Dragons 5e is what got me into TTRPGs. I appreciate the freedom of creativity that comes with them, I enjoy telling a story with other people, and I think it's incredibly fulfilling to create good memories through RP and the random nature of dice rolls. I have been my group's forever GM for around 6 years, and while I enjoy GMing, I would also like to be a player from time to time.

Well met, stranger. I'm hiddenson. I've played different rpgs since the 90's, mostly as GM. I prefer GMing because I love world building and long-term campaigns. I revel in many layered plots that peel like a bag of onions, tuning preset worlds to my signature flavor of horror and hardcore mechanics. My style is deeply immersive, roleplay heavy, and Rule of Cool. I prefer acting in the first person with people who invest creativity in their characters. At the moment, I'd like to focus on horror games and Cyberpunk. I'd love to play other settings of the World of Darkness. I have extensive experience in Call of Cthulhu in the 1920's as well as in Cyberpunk 2020 so I'll adapt to new editions easily. Lastly, I have little to no experience in the other titles, but I'm eager to try them out. I lean into characters hungry for lore rather than riches. Think erudite professors risking their sanity in eldritch tomes, or tomb raiding archaeologists uncovering more than they bargained for. I recently launched a paid Vampire: The Masquerade Chronicle, so I'm willing to trade seats if our playstyles and game list match. Regarding scheduling, I'm available every day (but would prefer playing every other week) from 9pm to 2am GMT+2, so don't let the timezone be an obstacle to our meeting. I've been playing D&D since my childhood in the early 80's and try my best to re-engage the board game/improv troupe I associate with the best expressions of role playing games. I like voice acting, playing in-character and making sessions a mix of gameplay, making friends and holding spance to let their imaginations run free with safety and advocacy. I'm happy to run games for your group in 5E/5.5E. I'm proficient with D&D Beyond, and will include music/sfx in our games and also make maps with Inkarnate. I'm interested to play games in Foundry/Forge and Roll20 where the use of dynamic lighting and other api features are highlighted. I would like to learn other RPG systems like Shadowdark and Daggerheart. I'm also interested in playing more Starfinder/Pathfinder and Star Wars!

hi! i'm mabel (she/her, 29) forever gm based in denver looking to play some games! willing to join groups solo or with my girlfriend. i've been playing roleplaying games in some form or fashion for over 15 years, but I haven't had enough consistent availability over the years to really form any sort of solid playgroup. i'm hoping to find likeminded folks (leftists of any sort, lgbt+, overall nice people) to explore various games with. some systems that i'm particularly interested in playing are Shadowdark, Cairn & similar rulesets, Coriolis (either edition), Mothership, Delta Green, Vagabond, Vaesen, and Public Access. I have D&D 5e listed on my profile for the sake of showing my experience with it; I'm not interested in playing 5e under most circumstances. other interests include hiking/camping, reading (mostly fantasy and communist theory), music (i'm a touring artist), and anime/manga.

I've been playing tabletop RPGs since the Red Box era and have spent most of that time behind the GM screen, though I'm always happy to be a player when the opportunity comes along. Shadowdark is my current favorite system, but I also enjoy most OSR games, Call of Cthulhu, and Barbarians of Lemuria. As a player, I enjoy exploration, meaningful choices, dangerous adventures, and character-driven roleplay. I like games where clever ideas matter as much as character sheets, and I'm perfectly happy in campaigns where the threat of failure, even character death, is part of the experience. I'm reliable, easygoing, and looking for a group that values teamwork and good table etiquette. I enjoy creating characters that fit the setting rather than bringing a pre-built concept to every campaign, and I believe everyone at the table shares responsibility for making the game fun. Outside of gaming, I'm a high school English teacher, so clear communication and consistency are important to me. If I commit to a game, you can count on me to show up prepared and ready to play.

I enjoy character-driven games with party relationships, meaningful combat, exploration, mystery, downtime, and earned emotional moments. As a player i enjoy cooperation and combo moves in combat as well as exploration and RP. My characters tend to have a flaw of some sorts as i do not enjoy a character that is good at everything. I run an online D&D game atm, but would like to play in person, maybe something not d&d. I've played tons of RPGs over the years, and introduced my wife to the hobby, would like to play different sorts of games with different groups and styles just to do something different.

To fix that, i'm looking for stuff i haven't played before. i'm particularly interested in Shadowdark and other OSR games, right now, and also a cool cyberpunk game (the setting, though i will totally also try Cyberpunk, the RPG). i have a lot of experience playing all kinds of systems, but mostly DnD, Pathfinder 2e, and PbtA games. i have a lot of time on my hands, particularly on weekday mornings (CET). i'm not unwilling to DM, but i really only have experience with prepared campaigns, so far, so i'm still mostly a beginner.

Though I prefer to GM, I also enjoy short campaigns (4 to 8 sessions) as a player. I enjoy one-shots, play tests, and demos. I prefer roleplay opportunities and cinematic combat (not a big fan of tactical battles). I'm a fan of Sci-fi and Fantasy, generally... everything from Fahrenheit 451 and Lord of the Rings to The Wheel of Time and Bladerunner.

Hi, I'm an adult in San Diego, CA looking to find like minded folks to play table top games with. I'm not locked into a system - people, vibes, and having a good time mean more to me than mechanics. Open to in-person or online gaming. I have kids, so working around family schedule is a consideration. Generally, I lean to more narrative gaming than combat oriented. A combat map + hours to resolve combat is a turn off to me. I've played a long 5e campain in the past (over a year with weekly online / Discord meetups), but i am not so interested in most 5e anymore. I've run some short Mothership 0e and Mork Borg campaigns as well as a number of one shots in other systems.

Looking to build or join a local(ish?), face-to-face, progressive-minded group. Not interested in rules lawyering or "winning", just having fun learning, socializing, roleplaying, solving mysteries, slaying foes, and the like. For several years I've played mostly D&D 5E, but I've played dozens or maybe even hundreds of game systems, so I'm open to whatever. I am Henry (Hank) and have been an 'endless GM' most of my TTRPG play experience. I love to play as well and when I do get the chance I enjoy that very much as well. I am always willing to try a new game system, playtest games and I even dabble in board games, both in creation as a hobby and play them on the regular. I am not looking for mindless combat sessions, silly 'monty python' campaigns or making players feel awkward at the table. I do however like to challenge players with their own backstories and want them to make hard decisions as conflict is at the heart of all good roleplaying sessions. I have been a TTRPG player and a legend-master for over 12 years. A big thing I have enjoyed over the years is getting to know the communities based around many different systems and settings in the entire community. It brings me joy to watch players work together to overcome challenges, both self inflicted and ones that I create. As a Legend Master, I tend to lean to "yes let's put a roll to it" kind of attitude. I love to see creativity and will stretch the RAW a little for "rule of cool". I do like to keep things moving but will slow down pace to help new people learn the system. I do not play against my players, but with them. I do not care for the DM vs the players. The biggest thing I like to see at my table is others enjoying the TTRPG world.
