Hello, fellow gamers. My name is Marlon, but everyone calls me Jay-long story there that I won’t get into. Anyways, I’m the forever DM in my family, and I run weekly podcast games for my wife. We’ve designed a tabletop RPG called Prosperon: A Bio‑Cyberpunk RPG, and we’re actively looking for more playtesters. If that interests you, shoot me a message and we’ll make it happen. Well met, stranger. I'm hiddenson. I've played different rpgs since the 90's, mostly as GM. I prefer GMing because I love world building and long-term campaigns. I revel in many layered plots that peel like a bag of onions, tuning preset worlds to my signature flavor of horror and hardcore mechanics. My style is deeply immersive, roleplay heavy, and Rule of Cool. I prefer acting in the first person with people who invest creativity in their characters. At the moment, I'd like to focus on horror games and Cyberpunk. I'd love to play other settings of the World of Darkness. I have extensive experience in Call of Cthulhu in the 1920's as well as in Cyberpunk 2020 so I'll adapt to new editions easily. Lastly, I have little to no experience in the other titles, but I'm eager to try them out. I lean into characters hungry for lore rather than riches. Think erudite professors risking their sanity in eldritch tomes, or tomb raiding archaeologists uncovering more than they bargained for. I recently launched a paid Vampire: The Masquerade Chronicle, so I'm willing to trade seats if our playstyles and game list match. Regarding scheduling, I'm available every day (but would prefer playing every other week) from 9pm to 2am GMT+2, so don't let the timezone be an obstacle to our meeting. If you're looking for a player who cares about your world lore and actually wants to know why the grumpy tavern owner is moody, I'm your guy. I'm not really here to crunch numbers into oblivion or argue over combat grid geometry. I'm way more interested in the messy, collaborative storytelling part of things. Think less tactical strike force and more chaotic found family trying to survive the plot. So yeah, if your table leans heavily into deep roleplay, exploring the setting, and letting characters actually talk to each other before things inevitably blow up, we'll probably get along great. Let's say 50:50 RP: combat ratio with it being ok if the roleplay is higher up to 100:0 I am looking for an online weekly table that does something like if a game gets cancelled, they play a one shot or online game instead or something like that, I don't care what, I just want to do something else if game night doesn't go to plan. I am fine with games during my nighttime as well as during the day, you just got to tell me the schedule first to see if I can make it. I am generally unavailable Saturday and Sunday day and Saturday night my time Even though my most played game is DnD, I enjoy playing other systems like Alien the roleplaying Game, Pathfinder and others. Hi! All told, I only have about a year of experience playing and GMing, and it's been a looong time, so I'm sure I'm quite rusty. My time zone is CST and my schedule is open. I have no strong preferences when it comes to frequency of sessions, system, or setting. Back when my friends and I actively played, I mostly GMed, using DnD 3.0/3.5, with a little Spycraft on the side. Even though that was years ago, I've never stopped thinking about RPGs, listening to actual play podcasts like The Adventure Zone and Acquisitions, Inc., reading random supplements and forum posts, and playing video games based on tabletop systems/adventures. I love backstory, lore, and worldbuilding and enjoy combat and dungeoncrawling, too. I remember my very first RPG session, when I was a kid, immediately opened my eyes to the creativity and improvisation that the format allows. All I'd done in our first battle was ready my weapon and lightly wound an unlucky bandit... while the far more experienced players of the group spent their first few turns positioning themselves technically, slinging buffs and debuffs, and throwing a tarp over the intimidating-as-hell bandit leader and then setting it ablaze with a torch. I was astounded; I knew I had to have more. The Discworld and Hitchhiker's Guide series of books are dear to me, though I'm down for nearly any fantastical story and setting (much like Pratchett and Adams themselves). Potentially relevant-to-tabletop video game series I've enjoyed are The Witcher, Knights of the Old Republic, Fallout, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, The Elder Scrolls, Divinity, Baldur's Gate, Final Fantasy, World of Warcraft, Legend of Grimrock, and many more. I like to let other players choose their specializations first, so I can try to fill any gaps we have, then build the character's background and motivation from there. That way, everyone who really wants to play a specific role is happy and the group as a whole is well-rounded. Plus, it's just fun to mix things up from game to game, so I've never really had a favorite class, though I do enjoy playing support (gotta have a healer/medic!). If you have the patience to help me shake off the rust and adapt to your setting and system, I'll do as much or as little reading, roleplaying, and rolling as you need. Ugh, this is really starting to sound like a sales pitch, ha ha... sorry. I'll finish by simply saying that I'm excited to meet you and see what adventures you've got brewing!

I love story‑driven, character‑focused games with a good splash of combat rather than pure dungeon crawls. My favourite crew to watch is the Oxventurers Guild, so I’m looking for similar rule‑of‑cool vibes – fast and loose when it makes the story more epic or hilarious, with room for gallows humour and messy characters. A combat map + hours to resolve combat is a turn off to me. I've played a long 5e campain in the past (over a year with weekly online / Discord meetups), but i am not so interested in most 5e anymore. Hi, my name's Ensley (he/him) and I guess at this point it's fair to call me a grognard, but not one of those grognards - I'm a cishet man in my mid-50s, and I have zero problems/issues with pronouns or LGBTQIA folks, I'm politically progressive, and believe Nazis should be punched. Repeatedly. That's as clear as I can make all of that, I think. I've been playing ttrpgs since the early 1980s starting off with the original AD&D, Star Frontiers, Marvel FACERIP, and the the rest of the TSR lineup, and over the years I've played a LOT of diferent systems, genres, and settings - various editions of Call of Cthulhu, FATE, Savage Worlds, Mothership, Star Trek (in various system including 2d20 STA), PbtA, etc., etc. Recently I've been playing Draw Steel, Triangle Agency, War Stories, and Lex Arcana. I'm pretty burnt out with traditional high fantasy games, and enjoy trying out new systems (hence the "newbie" tag in a lot of the experience listings above). In terms of playstyle, I like solid roleplay opportunities mixed with medium-crunch mechanical & combat support. I can get realy bored with a classic dungeon crawl really quick (I will inevitably Leroy Jenkins that crap after the fifth time someone elaborately checks a door for traps). So, yeah - that's me. I like games that have a heavy focus on roleplay and character dynamics but I am also fond of crunch and strategy.
