im Kai, 33 guy from germany I play tabel top games since school so they are part of my life for about ~17+ years I like a good mix of rp and combat in my games with challangeing entcounters and sticky situations , i want to think about things and i want things to have meaning. that does not mean i shy away from roleplay, I do some times bad voice acting for my character or make choices purely out of a charactes perspectiv. Howdy! 4 year 5e veteran here looking to branch out. Ideally a good mix of roleplay and tactics as a lot of my games have gone too far one way for my taste. Hi, I'm James from the UK. I've been playing and GMing tabletop RPGs for a long time, and I enjoy trying different systems rather than sticking with one game. As you can probably tell from my system list, my tastes are pretty broad! I've played or run everything from Savage Worlds and Dragonbane to Alien, The One Ring, Star Wars, PbtA games, Blades in the Dark and plenty of others. I'm especially interested in Outgunned right now. I enjoy games where the players actually roleplay with each other rather than everything going through the GM. I like character interaction, collaborative storytelling and giving everyone their chance in the spotlight. Combat is great too, especially when it's exciting and has some narrative weight behind it. As a GM, I'm not interested in trying to beat the players. I want to give them situations to interact with, see what they come up with and make their characters look cool while still giving them meaningful challenges. As a player, I bring the same attitude: work with the group, support other people's moments, and help move things forward. I'm UK-based and mainly play online using Foundry VTT and Discord. My availability varies depending on the game, but I'm generally looking for UK/European evening times. I'm also happy playing with people who are completely new to a system. I don't expect everyone to know every rule before we start, especially considering half the fun for me is discovering games I haven't played before.

I love the collaborative nature of tabletop most, and why I always hold myself to be flexible and prioritize everyone's enjoyment and keep the table flowing! My characrer ideas are always many, but playing a characrer to the T is not a priority in the sense; that if it disrupts the flow and story of the table or conflicts wirh the group? Then I scrap that idea or develop the character different to mesh better!

Oy there,  Let's run down the stats yeah? Name...Why? Who you with? You got a three letter org backing you? Hmmm...alright then, Patrick. Most people call me Giant though, my wife started it. I just accept it.  Age an ancient, decrepit 44 years of age.  Location: Kent, Washington, the PNW! Home of Bridge Trolls (no really), Bigfoot, Glaciers and whimsy! That's the basics, the most basic of basics if you will.  What I'm looking for is a very chill group. Like, the vibes need to be on point. We're talking acceptance, whimsy, patience, laughs and a general cheery disposition all around.  I need folks who are patient with people who have had a traumatic brain injury (I was introduced to a cement wall at high speeds as a youth). I struggle with nailing down mechanics, it takes a while to really cement them in my head. So I'll often be "Uh...Uh....Uh...*click* is that it?"ing around or "Remiiiiiind me how I...."... I'm also exceedingly awkward and shy around new groups. It's a challenge, the anxiety is real and hasn't abaited in my ADVANCED age. If anything it's gotten worse.  Despite being a human of unusual size, I'm soft spoken. It's not you, it's me. But I'll warm up.  I value "Rule of Cool" over hard mechanics. Rules are great, but I wanna avoid sitting there awkwardly as folks argue over the fine details.  Most importantly, diversity, acceptance and a critical, oh so importance lack of judgement. I'm just a straight CIS dude, but like...come on. Be chill about how others exist yeah? We're all in the world together and arbitrary lines seperating us is just sillyness.  Anyways, That's me.

 Hello, I'm Ed (they/them) !! I'm a 21yo artist and ex-theatre kid who is also a nerd! not a shocking combo I know, but this is relevant to the fact that I am a roleplay, story and heavy envestment type player and DM. I have been playing 5e and 5.5e for about two years now both as a player and while in the DM's chair; a role I love, but I would also like to see the other side of the screen sometimes... that's why I'm hoping to find a group! People I can DM for if wanted, but where I can also get to play my own blorbos at times. My primary skills in improv and character writing are what I think stands out about me personally-- I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but you can rely on me to fill sliences and start in-character conversations. oh yeah I also draw a bit so letting me into your group may have the side effect of getting silly moments from sessions drawn lol. I'm looking for a roleplay centered group. I'm pretty flexible in terms of game themes, though you may have to sell me on certain genres of horror. Flags/lines in terms of content are pretty open as well-- message me for a copy of my full content consent sheet. While I am currently DMing a campaign on Wednesday nights, I am free most other evenings and some mornings/afternoons. I may also be able to provide a place to play depending on the time and day.

Veteran ttrpg player in his 40s, German but living in Poland (I don't think I can play or gm in Polish though) I am mostly interested in OSR-style games, often with a more simulationist bend, but I am willing to get into other genres/styles of play.  I GM an active and regular Labyrinth Lord (OSR) Westmarches style open table game over discord, and also co-GM a Shadowrun3 campaign. I gearing up to restart a Traveller campaign, set up a play-by-post En Garde game, and am dabbling with a few others. I do play in a few other games which are unfortunately a bit less frequent as I would like.  (I don't actually like Warhammer, WFRPG, or the Forgotten Realms all that much, I know that's a bit of a problem in Poland...)

Greetings all! I have been playing TTRPGs on and off for 25 years and although I am naturally more combat-focused, I have been wanting to improve my roleplaying skills a bit more. Not that I think I am awful at roleplay, but we all have room for improvement and that just feels like the skill I could do better in. I started out GM'ing and have been ran probably 60-75% of the campaigns I have been involved in, so I am very open to either a player or GM role. Hi, my name is Gideon (32; They/them). I am looking to join a campaign with a LGBTQ+ friendly group of adults Monday-Friday after 5pm or Saturday/Sunday after 6pm EST since I work two jobs. I have played 5e, Pathfinder 1 and 2, and 3.5e, but open to trying new systems and homebrew.  Still somewhat of a novice, but not entirely new. I love making all sorts of characters and contributing to a group. I am not going to make the "lone wolf", hostile, or murderhobo characters. I will pull my weight during combat, in RP, and the campaign story.   I do love combat, but also love RP and I think they are both important to TTRPGs. I want the story as much as the numbers! I am okay with modules or homebrew. A long-term campaign would be the best but I am down for shorter ones as well.  As for RP style, I am still struggling with accents beyond a few very bad ones (lol). I am autistic so I know I can sometimes be a little flat-toned, and I am working on watching videos for how to improve my library of accents! I enjoy learning about other's characters/stories, as well as the lore/story of the DM's world. I want a party that can be serious or silly but wants to tell a story together with the DM. I would love to get invested in characters and campaign. I want to build relationships with other player's characters and honor the effort they made in creating them, even if said character is Mr. Noodle's the Lizard who speaks only in puns.  Happy to be in a campaign with romance (consensual) or without. I am more than happy with detailed worlds and involved/complex plots. I am a lover of Dune (books and films), The Expanse (books and series), Lord of the Rings (books and films), Poppy War, Red Rising, Arrows of the Queen, and others.  I do not get inebriated at the tables and never have, so if that is something other players or you as a DM worry about or have dealt with, you won't with me. I am also an artist and love to doodle for campaigns.  I have a Discord and working mic/camera. I am a note-taker and pay attention. So if you are a DM that wants a player who will pick up on subplots and details, I am for you! I do have experience with D&D Beyond as well as Owlbear. Reservation:   I don't have any major phobias that need to be avoided but I won't do SA of a character. I am understanding of it being part of a backstory or world (off-screen) or if it has been discussed/agreed on between victim's player and DM yet even then only off-screen/stage. Absolutely no RP of SA.   I am okay with darker themes, but I don't want to be in campaigns with fantasy racism or "women and AFAB people can't be fighters" stuff where the DM uses it as an excuse for their sexism. If it's part of the world, fine, but don't be obnoxious about it and make playing anything other than a male character miserable. TLDR Older reliable queer player looking for campaign during the week after 5pm or weekends after 6pm EST. Dm for Discord handle.

Hi all!! Came here after someone recommended this site to me. I'm Kip, 24 (25 in June), and go by she/they! (I am also autistic, so sometimes I do struggle with VC, but I am more than willing to use VC) I've been into the hobby for about 2-3 years I think? I really got into it after BG3 released, and stuck with it since then. Alot of these games I've either never played but want to (CBP RED, Shadowrun) and others I've only played oneshots from (Call of Cthulu, Fallout). But I really want to dabble more into TTRPG's! I'm really passionate about making/developing characters, and I like to draw (even though I struggle with humans) and commission art of my characters. That being said.. Hello, I am an avid TTRPG enthusiest and have read the entirety of rule books for advanced DnD 2nd edition. I have a large knowledge of Pathfinder 1e as well as Vampire the masquerade 5e and DnD 5e. I also have read a large amount of books for other rpgs including mask a new generation, vampire the requiem, mutants and masterminds 2e, the older world of darkness editions, marvel heroic rpg, and more. I am anxious with new people, but once I learn the group vibe I play my charecters with joy and enthusiasm. I am intrested in playing with a group that I can be myself in and I will listen to any concerns others have without jugment and I hope for the same in return. I am willing to try any system if I can get my hands on a copy of the rule book.

Greetings wanderer, if you are looking for some one who can do Matt Mercer npc voices you got the wrong guy. Nontheless Iess I will try to play out a character true its nature. What I enjoy are dungoen crawls, and exploration adventuers that are player driven. I prefer playing RAW rather than a bunsh of house rules but what I like to see most is the game moving forward, so I'll take a quick gm ruling over finding out the actual rules anytime. Hi, I'm Plero 35F - but leaning more on the NB side. I'm UK based and looking for a Tuesday or Thursday game. Experience: I've played two d&d campaigns (pathfinder and dragonlance), and I'm currently playing in two VTM chronicles. I've also played the majority of CRPGs so I understand different mechanics well. What I enjoy: I like the social aspect, connection, and character and plot development. I love narrative, RP and combat. I've got a lot of respect for GMs and STs and the effort they put in. Types of characters I've enjoyed playing: Blind half-orc shaman, Moonfolk sorcerer with musical interest, tremere and malkavian kindred. I'm currently interested in playing a swashbuckler/rogue chaotic neutral character with a heavy background, but I don't mind adapting to something that fits the party.

ABOUT ME I've been hosting regular games with great success since 1993 back when I started DMing at my 7th grade school lunch table full of friends.. I remember recruiting players out of The Red Dragon Inn on AOL for impromptu instant messenger Dragonlance games back in the day. I am 44 years old now and I have never really NOT been a DM of a D&D group pretty much my entire life. I am a forever DM and I've been doing it on Roll20 for over 7 years now! As a community service I admin some of the largest dungeon master help groups on facebook. I still know how to use THAC0. In my opinion, 3.5 is NOT the greatest edition. I've even written a few award winning dmsguild modules that are making their rounds and have recently released my first Shadowrun adventure on DrivethruRPG. I'm ultimately a chill dude. When not doing the D&D thing I'm a rock n roll union musician who has donated 20 years of life towards helping out schools with computer network issues. Greetings, I am looking to hopefully scratch my ttrpg itch and enjoy some good storytelling and roleplay with other people. I am familiar with a variety of game systems and am happy to learn new ones; I just ask you be patient while learning the game. My biggest area of expertise is D&D but I have played Pathfinder 1e for a few years; though I still feel a bit like a newbie when it comes to the game itself. I have a few character concepts and am usually available in the evenings; I also love to create characters with good motivations and even plot hooks if they are wanted/needed. I’ve been gaming a long time. By 15 (in 1995) I was a Games Rep, running demos at conventions. I love TTRPGs, whether player or GM. I just want a table that actually plays. System-wise, I like indie and old-school games, with enough crunch that every character and build feels mechanically unique and satisfying. That said, I’ll play narrative systems too. I care less about the label and more about whether the game does what it claims it does. Tone-wise, I think the best games have a healthy mix of insane hilarity, fantastical impossibility, and the horrors of reality. Just enough to make it feel real before it gets unreal. If it’s all comedy, it’s weightless. If it’s all grim, it’s depressing. I want the mix, on purpose. I’m a professional fiction writer with decades of experience. At the table, this means good improvisation skills and idea generation, as well as a good sense of story hooks and structure. If you’re creative and you communicate, we’ll get on great! One-shots, arcs, or campaigns. GM or player.

Looking to try to get into D&D again.  Since my divorce I lost my game group and looking to get back into it. Would prefer to play in-person.  I live in the Waterbury/Bristol, CT area. I am not opposed to online play, but my previous attempt to do online play...ended with miscommunication drama and left a bad taste. I have extreme social anxiety, but once I am comfortable with the group, I have a 45 year life time of gaming in my repertoire. I only really know D&D 2014, and have very little desire to learn 2024 (i have not heard much good about it). I played Shadowrun 4E for a hot second as well, but would need a complete refresher.  I am available basically any time and any day of the week, as long as I have a few days advanced notice. Gaming experience: Started in 1992 with Battletech and BECMI Dungeons and Dragons, but I've played a little bit of everything from Roll for Shoes and Knave to Shadowrun and Riddle of Steel. I heavily prefer simulationist styles of games, but I'm flexible depending on the adventure concept.  My favorite games are Lancer, Shadowrun, 7th Sea 1e, and Tenra Bansho Zero. I'm homebrew friendly and enjoy playtesting new games.  Currently I am only playing online, and my availability is mostly limited to weekday evenings.  I will not join a group that makes use of 'AI' generated artwork or media of any kind.

A well balanced game that covers all three pillars of game play are my favorite style, but doesn't have to be equal in all measures (you can have more combat vs exploration if you like, but I  need some exploration) I try to get along with others and not steal the spotlight

I am a guy from the Central South of the United States who is looking for Primarily a Pathfinder 1e game on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday evenings and isn't afraid of using non-srd material. That said, I'd also be interested in 5e, Shadowrun 4e, Wrath and Glory, and other similar systems. I mostly play Paladins, Clerics, Barbarians, and Warlocks in the games I play, and more recently I wanted to switch things up when it comes to pathfinder, since I'm not used to spellcasting in the game and I wanted to ease into it with a Warpriest or even go full War Wizard. That said, I do want to try out an archer build someday aswell. For my playstyle, I generally adapt to the game itself, although I like a balance of combat/crunch and roleplay. My method for learning games is to create a character concept, to then build a backstory, finish the build guide for myself, and finally to then flesh out the backstory for the character, trying to be as lore accurate as I can be with the information I can find. I do work a day job, and I play music on the side, so while I would love to accept every game invite, I simply cannot join every table. Hopefully I find a game that will let me play the weird, wacky, and interesting characters I have cooked up. God bless y'all and I hope you have a great day!
