A blade that had caused so much pain and brought so much reckoning. The soft flame of regret flickered on its jagged edge. The embers of solace flitted around it in the air. Was this the wind of change, a foreshadowing of something new? Something dark? Was this Adumbration? ”
Greetings intrepid adventurers! My name is James, and I am searching for 4-5 players to join me in a brand-new campaign. After the conclusion of a long trek through Pathfinder 2E, I am eager to dive into Daggerheart, a fiction-first and narrative-centered system where the players control the story as much as the GM does.
The Pitch:
My hope with this game is to run a true start-to-finish story that is entirely focused and driven by the player characters. I’ll give you a map, myths and legends, history, ancestries, and rumors, and answer any questions you might have about the world, and using your input and interests, will make a living and breathing experience surrounded by your backstory and character. The goal is to tell a complete and fulfilling narrative and allow players to forge unique stories and experiences that often get pushed to the wayside in favor of a railroaded plot.
The Game:
“Trouble is stirring throughout the mortal realm... Across Aedelor, the old powers lie broken. The mighty Calissae are diminished, their Thousand Years War reduced to ash and memory. In their absence, the mortal races have reclaimed their dominion, but the world that they inherited was never meant to stand without the almighty forces that once controlled it.
In the western continent of Ealia, the legions of Eposaria tighten their grip, pressing order on a world that resists it. Scattered throughout the wilds, fractured warbands and opportunists carve out dominion of their own. An attack on the capital city of Epos has left the heir to the throne missing, with a rising figure beginning to draw followers in the wake of the apparent tragedy.
This is not an age of peace or simple war. This is a time of fracturing, of failing systems, rising powers, and hidden truths not yet discovered. Whether by chance, necessity, or ambition, you now stand on its edge. ”
While the broad strokes of my setting have been established, this campaign is designed for collaborative world-building! Perhaps you’re a member from a kin long thought extinct, or the rightful heir to the Eposian throne. Ultimately, the choice is yours, and I am more than excited to help shape the world around your desires!

Who I’m Looking For:
With this game, I’m really looking for folks who are invested and willing to put love and energy into their character. The game will run as long as the players are enjoying it, so the more invested you are in your character, the better. Furthermore, investing in and approaching your fellow players with the same level of enthusiasm is critical to games like these, and hope to find folks who are just as jazzed about their party members. Commitment is key, as this campaign will last into the foreseeable future, so communicating if and when a cancellation arises is very much appreciated.
