Survive the Beginning of the Apocalypse | pro GM

We are a group looking for 1-2 new players to join us for an upcoming daggerheart campaign that takes place in my new homebrew setting of Insonja. A mysterious supernatural event caused 3/4th of the world's population to disapear in a flash and then the world fell apart to war, famine and monsters resulting in its current post-apocolyptic state. The players are survivors who reside in the former capital of the world's greatest super power, the imperium of Reem. What survived of the capital and the heartland of the imperium was taken over by a cult that worships a group of angelic beings that are known as the Heralds. The rules of the cult are strict and they expect everyone who resides in its domain to follow said rules regardless of own opinion on religion. However the capital of Reem is one of the few safe areas in the world with civilization. Will this cult provide the safety and salvation that it claims to offer, or is it just replacing the chaos of the wasteland with a different form of evil?  The plan is to run the game as long as players keep interest in it. While I am new to running daggerheart I do have plenty of experience running dnd 5e and other systems.  I have a zero tolerance policy for bigotry and bullying. Other than that, it's magic, fairies and songs! # In-Depth Campaign Structure Designed with beginners in mind, Sablewood Messengers is often called the Quickstart. It was released alongside Daggerheart as a free content to help players get into the game easily. It's a single session which includes explaining the game, going through two possible combats, and social encounters with a magical city and a quirky fairy grandma, with a lot of room for players and characters to interact and become closer throughout their travel. Characters are included in the module, and they have a suggestion of how they connect already included in their backgrounds, as well as questions prepared to help players strengthen these bonds. I'm Erick, and I have been a regular RPG player since 2015, but I've been involved in the world of RPGs and have been a fan since I was a little kid, when my brother used to GM for me. I'm a big fan of game design in general; so I also enjoy creating content and tweaking the rules as needed. I've played a few other systems, but D&D 5th Edition is my favorite by far. RPGs are my favorite hobby, and I believe they have immense narrative, rational and therapeutic value. I am happy to teach newcomers and engage with veterans alike.
