Hello. I have been playing D&D 5e for 2 years, looking for a weekly game whether in 5e or 5.5e. Preferably evenings in the weekends, as I am available after 6 PM EST. Definitely can commit to a consistent weekly game night provided that if 1) IRL does not throw a wrench my way or 2) game is canceled. I enjoy a game where it is combat focused, in no way I am against roleplaying, could mix it up between the two. I am okay with character death, and games whether its homebrew, or official or games converted from different modules. My favorite class to play is the fighter and my go to favorite is the cavalier, a classic knight on horse subclass that defends his party and lives by his own code.

Salutations! Recently I've discovered Delta Green and am intrested in playing it. I have played ( and Keepered ) Call of Cthulhu so I am fairly experienced with the rules and how d100 systems work. Currently I ( 33 M) am looking for a one-shot or short campaigns ( 3-4 sessions). I am open to both paid and free games. In case of the former, I expect fair pricing, as a paid Dungeon Master I understand how time consuming it is to prepare such things, but I am not open to overpaying ( i.e $30 for a single session, which is 90% theater of mind). Well met, stranger. I'm hiddenson. I've played different rpgs since the 90's, both as GM and as player, and I'd like to get back into it. I prefer GMing because I enjoy world building and long-term campaigns, delving deeper into the preset worlds to give them my signature flavor of horror and hardcore mechanics. My style is immersive, often choosing to play the right track at the right second for the right scene. That said, I enjoy the acting and teamwork part of playing, so I'd like to get the chance to do that as well from time to time. I'm also launching a paid Vampire: The Masquerade 5e soon, so I'm willing to trade seats if our tastes and playstyles match. As this is my player profile, I'd like to focus on roleplay heavy horror games. I'd love to play other settings of the World of Darkness. I have a lot of experience in the previous edition of Call of Cthulhu set in the Roaring Twenties, so I'm sure I can adapt to the new edition easily. Lastly, I have no experience in Shadowdark or Mothership, but I'd like the chance to try them out to round up the horror theme. When it comes to my playing style, I'm roleplay focused and lean into characters keen on knowledge and lore rather than riches. I like roleplay heavy games, but having a fight is also good. I tend to homebrew stuff, because any game engine is just an invitation for creativity. Usually play sneaky-snoopy characters, chaos goblins and/or demons like Tyranny (my favorite!).

Hey im a new player to dnd but New to playing D&D, but I've spent enough time learning the game to feel right at home at the table. I enjoy both roleplay and mechanics, and I tend to put a lot of thought into the characters I create. In fact, I probably have more character concepts than opportunities to play them. Hello, I've never played dnd before but I really love storytelling and creating characters, so I thought trying out dnd could be fun. ^^ I think I would enjoy roleplay and character focused games more, (& I'm also rlly interested in the psychology of the characters, especially if their struggles are protrayed in a more serious light). I'm also alright with combat, although I would have to learn a lot of the mechanics since I've never played before. I'm a completely new player. I've experienced a bad session of DnD once (started level 20) but really want to give it a go. Other groups I attempt to join say they don't want to hand hold me and drop me because I'm new and have little knowledge of dnd. I am a grown adult and have some limited experience playing D&D 5e I'm looking for a group that plays regularly on a week night (not Fridays). I work a job that can be unpredictable at times where I can have mandatory overtime that's given the day of which could occasionally have an impact on my ability to play. That said I intend to attend on a consistent schedule, I don't mind a small fee for the GM as long as the game is run well, fair and most importantly fun. Game play persona, I enjoy combat and thinking out side of the box for quirky fun solutions. I can play a serious character or a silly but game focused character. For what it's worth my favorite character to play is a cleric, I can do battle, healer or a mix of both ! So if you need a healer, I can be your guy! I prefer a game where the GM makes it a fun challenge but doesn't railroad the campaign nor do they make it so complex where I'm spending more time making notes than playing the game. I have no issues playing with whoever (adults) so long as everyone keeps politics and religion out of the game session :) of course except those which apply to the game.

I've had the itch to play DnD for a long time now but it's always mainly been with friends. but with how things have been lately i'm looking to branch out and play with new people and make new friends in hopes I can be a part of a longer running series. while I see myself as a "newbie" i'm still fairly familar with how the 5E systems work, it's more of just learning how games might play out in longer sessions and how DMs might treat some encounters and situation. I’m a 22/M looking to join a D&D group that plays any time Monday–Thursday (evenings preferred) and occasionally Friday. Weekends are usually tough for me due to a family that believes dnd is the devil, but it IS possible. I’ve played in one one-shot before, but I’ll be honest, I didn’t get much of a chance to actually play due to being talked over a lot (and a d100 roll that gave everyone some random ass effect and im the only one who got anything remotely negative [if i spoke without rhyming i would get struck by lightning], but thats besides the point). So while I’m technically newer to live play, I’ve spent a ton of time learning the game and building characters. I am in another campaign that I've kinda started, but the dm has gone on vacation for the summer, and I have no real scope on when they'll return. I have done around 10 or so sessions with them and know how to use DND tools now, so... I absolutely love D&D. In my spare time I create characters constantly, I have at least one concept ready for nearly every class, and I’m more than happy to fill whatever role a party needs, as long as I get to play the game. I’m open to long-term campaigns, ongoing groups needing an extra player, or starting fresh.

I like long lasting campaigns, level 1-20 and beyond. I prefer a weekly set game in voice and VTT. I do not like One-shoots or west march/living worlds. I prefer games like: 1. Sandboxes. 2. Mega Dungeons. 3. High Fantasy Homebrew Worlds/AP I do not like evil games or play with evil aligned player/characters. I usually play some form of Sorcerers, Gish's and if I play outside of that I play Oracle or ninja or gunslinger (Summoner if allowed). I like to plan my character out in detail, but I try not to be over powered same time. I am looking for online game or face to face. We are a beginner-friendly D&D Discord community with over 50 members, originally started as a small helping/tutorial server for new players who wanted to get into D&D without having to pay for anything. The server is still very welcoming to beginners, but experienced players are also invited, especially if you enjoy roleplay, storytelling, helping newer players learn the game, or even running your own sessions. At the moment, we have a core group of active members, with people playing or interacting almost daily. We currently run two main types of games: 1. Adventurers Guild / West Marches-inspired one-shots This is our open-table system. I created an Adventurers Guild that posts bounties, missions, and one-shot adventures. Players can join when they are available, without needing to commit to a long campaign from the start. These games mostly use D&D 5e 2024 rules, but 2014 content and homebrew may also be allowed, depending on the DM. 2. Classic homebrew campaigns Other members can also become DMs, post their own campaign ideas, gather 4–6 players, and run their own homebrew campaign in their own channel. This can be in our shared universe or in a completely separate custom setting. My personal DM style is more focused on roleplay, story, atmosphere, and fun character moments rather than strict rules or overly complicated combat. I am very open to helping new players learn and giving people a relaxed space to try D&D. Most of my sessions are usually in the evening, around 19:00–20:00 until 23:00–00:00 GMT+2, but we also have people from different time zones, so other games may happen at different hours depending on the DM and group. I'm Mark! I'm a 50-something tabletop enthusiast. Been playing and GMing since my early teens. I love both traditional board and card games and RPGs. I'm a video game developer professionally and a hobbyist game designer on the side. I enjoy running RPGs in multiple genres and systems. My current go-to "official" system is Index Card RPG, and I have two homebrew systems in development. I'm not a huge fan of D&D because of the cost, heavy ruleset, and recent direction in terms of subscription model and social posturing. I currently GM semi-regularly for my son and daughter and their friends -- all in their early twenties. I'm comfortable running games for any age group. My sessions are a mix of action and role-playing and strictly PG-13. I'm interested in finding more groups for either board/card gaming or fantasy, science-fiction, or superhero role-playing. I prefer in-person play to VTTs but I don't rule out the latter. Would love to find some mixed-age groups in the Broomfield area for semi-regular sessions (sometimes we crunch at work, so I can't always guarantee availability). Hi there! I'm a mature player looking for a game with people who love the comraderie of roleplay. I enjoy a game that is heavy RP balanced with combat, problem solving, political intrigue, travel, survival or whatever aspects the GM wants to put our merry band up against. I'm in your world now. Play Style: I'm serious about having fun. I'm low maintenance and I fit well into most groups that are focused on the campaign at hand. I'm a stickler about showing up on time to every session. I put a good effort into making my characters fun for the other players as well as the GM. I'm not much of a min/maxer. I don't know the powerful builds as I tend to add to my characters in a manner consistent with their back story. I write modest back stories and try to include multiple hooks that the GM might choose to use somewhere along the road. I prefer to see a good story or interesting outcome rather than fuss over rules. I tend to get in character and stay in character for an entire session. I'm not adverse to long sessions, provided we have appropriate intermissions. Themes: I'm less interested in horror, more interested in high fantasy settings. Experience: I haven't played much for two or three years, so I'll need a bit of help getting back up to speed. I know nothing about 5e 2024 rule changes. I'm generally a quick study and willing to learn anything new. I'd prefer a DnD 5e 2014 game, but would be willing to learn 2024 and I do have some experience with PF2e. I have GMed homebrews in 5e on several occasions, but my first choice is to participate as a member of the party. I prefer Foundry VTT, but I have participated in past games using Roll20 and DndBeyond. I have fairly in depth knowlege of the inner workings of FVTTv12/13. Prefered Times: I'm in Ontario Canada (UTC-4) and would prefer games that were afternoons or evenings local time. North American games or evening UK/EU games can fit my schedule nicely. My schedule is fairly open, so I'm easy to accommodate. My ideal schedule would be a weekly game of at least 3-4 hours. My Setup: I have a nice quiet office and professional studio quality audio chain. I don't have a web cam. I'm River, he/him (trans m so heads up for my voice), 23 and finally taking the initative to try and join a hobby I've been meaning to get into for ages :] Though I haven't had the chance to play at a table yet, I'm not entirely new to ttrpgs. I've played through the video game versions of a few systems (pwotr, vtmb, bg3), have listened to a few podcasts and I like to read sourcebooks for fun and preparation, so I like to think I have a pretty good idea of how things work. As a player, I really love making characters most of all. The whole thing of shaping up a little guy to fit both into a party and the world they inhabit in general like a perfect puzzle piece. In a collaborative context getting to do so sounds even more incredible. Some of my favorite species/character archetypes are Vampires/Dhampirs and Fey (the folk horror type more than the whimsical type) closely followed by Elves, and I tend to lean more martial than caster, but I'm very happy and willing to build almost any manner of character to fit a campaign, especially as a newbie. Sidenote: timezone is EET but I'm a night owl with a lot of free time currently, so I could probably make most hours work :]

Hi im Cas (F) and at the moment of writing 16 years old. I am (and have been) a very big fan of fantasy in almost all aspects for years. I have watched a lot of dnd on youtube, nothing in peticulair and mostly ginni or pointy hat cause that interested me most (not a lot of actual game play but have watched that occasionally as well dw) I have a 90% ready to play homebrue (may I say myself very great and nothing like basic dnd) world to play. I have tried to DM it but lets just say idk if it was my fault or my players at the time but it died off fairly quickly because of different (unrelated with me i think) reasons.
