## Kibwe — Pathfinder 2e Play-by-Post > The Story. >> 1. The jungle city of Kibwe is rotting from the inside. >> 2. A slime curse seeps through its streets, its shrines, and its people. >> 3. You came to stop it. Whether the city survives is up to you. **The basics** - System: Pathfinder 2e. PF2e and SF2e content such as classes and ancestries are welcome. - Level: you start at 7 and the campaign wraps at level 8. - Setting: Golarion, with homebrew changes - Format: play-by-post, constant but slow - Open slots: 6 - Cost: free. I pay for Foundry, players pay nothing. **Where we play** - Narrative play-by-post lives in our Telegram group. - Dice, maps and tokens run in Foundry. I will get you set up, no purchase needed. **Building your character** - Play almost anything. Any ancestry, class or background is on the table. - Dual class is allowed but never required. - PathBuilder is the easy way to put a sheet together. **Good to know** - This is one ongoing, connected story with a persistent group, not a West March. - Tone is adult and high fantasy: dark, magical, and not shy about mature content. - Vetting happens on the Path Wars Discord, not in my DMs. New players are welcome to DM me to join and I will happily walk you through everything. Record #54 of Old Gezzoba, Expedition 82. All is lost. Fath cannot save us anymore. However, I ask you, brothers and sisters, to gather once more with me for a final trip. Progress has halted. This ash winter is killing us one by one, but we must go on. We must pursue faith. The Omens invoke us. We have been summoned to stop it. We have been summoned to see the sun once more, to bring the people the star of hope. Yet we lack people. We need those whose spirits never tire, people who have time to write for us, to dedicate a day for a call, to keep the story going. If one falls, the torch must be passed to the next. Death is expected here, but together we stand, and great treasures await those who follow us. We fight the oppressors and bring the faith of our lord. No matter age or gender, this call is for everyone. Be warned, however: monsters wearing human skin await within the city. You must not trust anybody, no matter how close they may seem. Everyone shall be equipped with a gun and a melee weapon of their choice, but be aware—money is of no use here. Every single object you see is cursed, granting a benefit at a cost. Investiture or attunement does not exist in this world. The only limiting factor is greed, for every item bears a curse, and the more you carry, the greater the risk of downfall by your own hand. This expedition will take place both over call and text. We seek only the most willing, faithful warriors, ready for a gritty expedition and driven by a starving desire to write a story like never before, starting now. The test begins as soon as this paragraph is read. For those interested, leave your Discord handle and you will be contacted with utmost urgency. And as a final message: We are prey, but we will not be slaughtered.
