A New Age of Iron: New Draw Steel Campaign

Title: A New Age of Iron System: Draw Steel Platform: Codex (VTT) & Discord (Voice), monthly meetings in person in Chevy Chase, MD (Near Washington, DC) Availability: 1-2 seats available (already have 4 players) Time: Saturdays 2-6 PM EST. Tone: Serious, not quite grimdark. Somewhere between GoT and BG3 Hook: In the shadow of the Iron Covenant, you and a group of other heroes struggle against darkness and tyranny! Requirements: 18+ only, reliable attendance, a solid mic/camera, and a willingness to engage with the setting (Lore primers for different subjects available, further info available at request). If interested, send me a DM on Discord and we can hop in a call and chat for a bit! I am about to start running a narrative- / RP-focused Draw Steel game, and am looking for several players to join this new campaign. We meet on weekly Saturdays for 4 hours, 2PM-6PM. We're looking for excited players, newbies more than welcome. We meet online over discord, and use our cameras, and have an in-person session about once a month! Players should be in the DC/NOVA/Southern Maryland area and have the ability to travel once every month or two to Chevy Chase, MD. All levels of experience with Draw Steel (we're all new but are 5e vets)/roleplaying games are welcome. The game I run uses official Draw Steel rules and ancestries in a homebrew world, but I'm open to reviewing homebrew classes and races if that interests you. I'm running an RP-focused game, so if you're more for the Diablo "kill shit get loot" style, it may not be for you. I have worked with my players to make characters who fit into the world, and will do this with anyone who joins! My only pet peeves are people who are never available/flake and complainers. We do not tolerate hate of any kind at the table. We have a list of lines/veils and some cultural fit things in this google doc, but it isn't necessary to read it before reaching out. Culture Doc If you have any questions, or would like to join, please DM me here or on discord (username QuirkyEclipse)!

This campaign is meant to emulate and/or take place in the setting of Eternia, the central planet in the Masters of the Universe world. While only surface knowledge of MOTU (main characters, setting, etc) is needed, if you have deeper knowledge, then feel free to speak up. While not as light-hearted as the 1980s Filmation cartoon, this campaign will still have silly moments and be closer to an adventure of the week campaign with hints of a potential looming threat building in the background.     The campaign will be ran at a local game store close to where I live. If you wish for more information, contact me on discord. Username is LightningLancer.     While nothing sexual will be covered beyond potentially flirting with NPCs, violence and blood will be present in this campaign. I'll be providing a list in person to help players list what they feel comfortable and uncomfortable with for session zero. 4.I've had about 5-8 years on and off of being a GM, and this is a new system I'll be trying for this campaign. The system itself is called "Draw Steel" by MCDM productions. 5. Keeping notes is encouraged among the players. Also, two of my RL friends will be attending the session zero, and I'm only able to run for 4 players at maximum. That means at most there are 2 slots available for would-be players.

Draw Steel - The Delian Tomb, new group

Looking for 4 players to join myself and a friend in a beginner game of Draw Steel - The Delian Tomb. I have run a handful of Draw Steel sessions before, but not for some months now. Looking to get a group together to play weekly for ~3 hours on Mondays 11:00 - 15:00 UTC, beginning on Monday 30th March. We'll be using Discord for voice chat and organisation, and Owlbear Rodeo as the VTT. I've got a good track record with online play - just finished a 3+ year long dnd campaign totalling 125 sessions. I'm not looking for too much commitment from my players to start with; 3 or 4 sessions to play the first part of the Delian Tomb, then if everything goes well continuing on to finish the adventure. Get in touch if you're interested!

I'm Jerry, the GM. I run a Sunday afternoon TTRPG group at my home in Las Cruces, New Mexico (Picacho Mountain area). We're preparing our next campaign and building the table now. System: Draw Steel RPG (by MCDM/Matt Colville) with OSR influences Campaign: The Charter of the Sapphire Writ. You play the Justiciars of the Sapphire Writ, a small order granted emergency authority by the Crown to stabilize collapsing borderlands. Restore the King's Peace, break bandit lords, protect the vulnerable. Heroic baseline: you do heroic deeds, you fight for people who can't fight for themselves, you leave places better than you found them. Tone: Tactical. Heroic. Cinematic. This is not grimdark and it's not a dungeon crawl. Think competent heroes making bold choices and winning hard-fought battles. When: Most Sundays, 11 AM - 4 PM Where: Dedicated game room, Las Cruces, NM (in-person only) Cost: Free Looking for: Adults with TTRPG experience who want heroic, action-forward play and can commit to a regular Sunday schedule. You don't need to know Draw Steel. LGBTQ+ friendly. Note: there is a cat allergy at the venue. We use a short application: https://www.lascrucestabletopgaming.com/sunday.html

For anyone who might be interested, signups are open for a short streamed campaign of Draw Steel, a heroic fantasy RPG by MCDM Productions. The system focuses on tactical combat and cinematic storytelling, and the players will all come together to discuss the themes of the campaign before we begin. No experience with the system or default setting is required! We'll be playing on Tuesday evenings at 8PM Eastern / 5PM Pacific / 1AM UK (Wed) starting in late March. We're planning to play for roughly five sessions, plus a two-part off-stream session zero. If all goes well, I plan to livestream the game on my Twitch channel: https://www.twitch.tv/otherdoc Signups run through Wednesday, February 25th! (NOTE: This is not a professional endeavor, and will be streamed purely for fun. For more details, take a look at the signup page!) SIGN UP HERE: https://forms.gle/NcdAt9Roykk9uXJ86
