Greetings Travelers and welcome to “Thar’ Be Trolls!” A Dungeon World campaign set in the Forgotten Realms universe. Set in the city of Nesme’ and bordered by the Lurkwoods to the northwest and the Evermoors to the east, the party will assume the role of a member of the Riders of Nesme’. Captain Hersien has a mission of utmost importance. A dangerous mission, one that would stake upon the fate of the city. I am a budding 5e DM and want to try out Dungeon World. I have two players already, one who is very experienced in the format and one who isn't. We are looking for a couple more diverse, fun, and colorful people to broaden our group. The three of us are in our 30s and would like to keep the campaign 18+. We will run it every two weeks on Sunday at 1pm. Ideal start date would be August 9th. Please feel free to ask any questions or reach out. I am trying to run this on a program on steam called Talespire that allows players to move figures around a 3d world that I have created. It is a free program for the players, and you can purchase a figure on Heroforge or use one of thousands created by players (through heroforge or uploaded to Talespire). I am not dead set on this but it has been a fun way to explore the 5e campaigns I've run.

I offer to DM Dungeon World.  Dungeon world is a narrative driven rules light fantasy RPG.  That means rather than learning lots of rules and skills players just naturaly formulate their actions.  The rules just follow what happens in the narrative. All relevant rules fit on the charachter sheet. That means the game can be picked up by everyone imidiately without any preperation.  Rules wise it might be to shallow for some, but thats actually the main feature. Dungeon world is intended to be played without a predefined world or story. Both is shaped by DM and  players likewise while playing. The concept is easy once you understand it but hard to explain here. So feel free to ask me. Im planning to do at least 3 sessions, but am open to more. Charachter creation is an important part of the game and will be done in the first session. Sessions would be either wednesday or thursday 8pm CET. I would aim for 3hours per session. Sessions can start from the 18th of June. German is possible if all players speak it, english otherwise. I have a lot of DM experience from 20years ago when I played AD&D, Vampire TM, Shadowrun etc. Then I didnt play for a long time until two years ago when I joined a round of Pathfinder. I found that I dont really enjoy those rules heavy games as much as I did. Thats why the premise of DungeonWorld is very interesting to me. My current DM experience is sparse, just on session DMing DungeonWorld for the pathfinder group, which we didnt pursue. On another ocasion I joined a oneshot of dungeon world as a player. So I might be a bit rusty, but nevertheless Im looking forward to play it again. If that sound interesting to you Im happy to hear from you.
