My name is Maddy, curently residing in Amsterdam. I dabble in the occasional editing of films at night and run a museum in the daytime. I do most things in life accompanied by music. Absoluty fell in love with D&D and have been playing for around 4 years now, I would love to DM one day but i'm just just having to much fun being a player at the moment. So far I only played at physical tables, so playing online is something new I'm looking forward to exploring. I love playing out a character arc or watching how the story gradually reshapes who my character is. That said, I'm also a true team player who genuinely enjoys stepping into the supporting role in someone else's storyline. I approach the game as collective storytelling, making a movie together is honestly the best way I've heard it described. I love a good balance of everything: deep roleplay, creative combat, a well-crafted mystery, and a bit of group scheming. I've been very lucky with my DMs and had a couple of campaigns where roleplaying was a big part of the experience, which gave me a lot of room to practice playing what my character would do, rather than what the smartest game decision might be. I like finding creative ways to use my abilities and I enjoy pushing the boundaries of what's possible within the rules, finding unexpected solutions that the game allows but maybe didn't anticipate.
