H20Scry

Greetings fellow adventurers, Logi sisse I am looking for a regular in-person TTRPG group to join in the Sacramento/Davis area, DM me if you think I may fit in your group. [About Me] Male (40) I would describe myself as easy going. My wife and I moved to Davis a few months ago, leaving behind my other regular in person groups. I enjoy TTRPGs, games, cards, and dreaming up worlds to share with others. I have only played D&D regularly for about 4 years now, it's one of those things you finally fall into and it seems like you were missing it in your life. I currently GM a homebrew 5.5e campaign online and play in two other online games. I also enjoy outdoor stuff too, hiking, biking, and camping. I also dabble in 3d printing stuff and developing TTRPG online tools. [Group general preferences]

• An engaged group of players that want to be there
• A safe environment for all
• My favorite parts of campaigns roughly in order are combat, adventuring, then roleplay (I try with some funny voices and have fun with it)
• No real preference on skill level in the group, I am open to a very beginner friendly group or one where your character is in peril all the time and you need to have a backup character ready to play.
• I am not really into the steamy love story/ romance focused campaigns, and generally would prefer that kind of stuff, if it is part of a group dynamic, is a sort of "cut to black" kind of storytelling.
• I would like to think that meeting and making friends at the table is part of the in-person experience, this is part of my goal.
• I have the most experience with 5e, but I am also interested in other TTRPG platforms.
