About Me: My name is Alex. He/Him pronouns. In my mid twenties, studying in college. Totally comfortable with queer players/DMs, though I would not consider myself queer, most of my friends are. Some past religious trauma. I'm looking for a long term camaign, around weekly. Available any day right now and can move my schedule around for any time from around noon to midnight as long as I have forewarning.
Style: I'm willing to play in all sorts of themed games, homebrew or not, but I tend to enjoy high magic campaigns and high tech campaigns a bit less. I enjoy mysteries in the world and I like gods being a central part to worldbuilding or the story itself. I enjoy the exploring a lot, (even if dnd doesn't have many rules for it), especially other planes, but the material realm is totally fine to spend an entire campaign in. My favorite character I haven't had the opportunity to play more than a session of is a neutral good, male Kitsune Bard who enjoys supporting the party and growing his collection of stories, written, sung, or told. I'm used to low level campaigns (< lvl 6), but have no qualms with high level campaigns.
Experience: I have experience DMing and I have experience as a player. Not too much for either, but a few years experience DMing for a group of friends/family ranging from 8 players to 3. That's why I've put myself at Intermediate experience, not too much experience as a player for more than a session or two, though I have gone beyond that point.
Pillars Balance: I do enjoy combat, but I also very much enjoy exploration and roleplay, both with other players and with NPCs. I like teasing and being the party face who isn't entirely always proper and moral, but has good intentions overall. I try very hard to share the spotlight and pull in fellow players. I'm totally fine if a session goes without combat, but if we go two sessions without rolling initiative, I might be a bit concerned. As previously mentioned, I like exploring, but as long as you introduce cool locations we visit, that's good for me. I like difficult and engaging combat, ones that make us strategize, maybe prepare for beforehand, combats that make us move around the field more, secure objectives, or maybe play unconventionally such as controlling or wielding things we normally wouldn't.
