This is a beginner-friendly Dungeons & Dragons campaign set in the frontier town of Phandalin. You’ll start at level 1, take on local quests, explore ruins, deal with monsters, and gradually uncover a larger threat tied to the region.
The campaign blends open-ended adventures with a growing story, so you’ll always have direction—but your choices matter.
Built for New Players
No experience needed. This game is designed to teach you as you play:
Step-by-step guidance during sessions
Help with character creation
Rules explained in plain language
A supportive, low-pressure table
Worried About Starting? I’ve Been There.
“I’m not creative enough”
You don’t need to be. Just decide what your character does. “I attack.” “I search the room.” That’s enough. The flavor comes naturally over time.
“I don’t know the rules”
You’re not expected to. We’ll handle that together. The only rule that matters at the table: keep the game moving and have fun.
“I’ll feel awkward roleplaying”
No voices required. You can simply describe what your character says or does. Roleplay is about decisions, not acting.
“I don’t know how to build a good character”
You don’t need an optimized build. Fun, interesting characters matter more than perfect ones—and I’ll help you every step of the way.
What to Expect
A mix of combat, exploration, and roleplay
Clear guidance without slowing the game down
A campaign that starts simple and grows in depth
A story shaped by your decisions
The Only Thing You Need to Bring: A willingness to try.
This isn’t about winning—it’s about building a story together.
