Hello, I have three players looking for a game together: two daughters who are 21+ and their Dad, who is 45+. I'm Ariel, and I am in charge of finding us a group. We are ideally looking for a Call of Cthulhu group, but are willing to hear from D&D 3.5 and Vampire: The Masquerade groups at play about 5 hours max and about 2 hours minimum. What I am Looking for in a Game * Play once every two weeks, three weeks, or once a month. * Play time starts at 9:00 am EDT and ends at the latest 4:30 EDT. * Play time is limited to a maximum of 5 hours. * Tables willing to deal with Newbie questions along the way on occasion. My sister and I have mostly played D&D 5e and other, more indie systems, so we’re still learning them, and my Dad hasn’t played them for a long time. We will read up on the rules and are willing to study the rules on our own time, not right before the game. * A flexible DM, all three of us have chronic medical issues and may have to cancel on occasion for health issues. We’re good about doing our best to be in the best shape we can before game start time and will do our best to give a day's notice at minimum. About the Players Ariel * Younger sister and the one in charge of the account. Grew an interest after playing and has been interested since. I used to read the TTRPG books for fun. * I am hoping to learn systems as a player so I can GM one day. * My biggest interests are RPG video games I can play on handheld Nintendo systems, such as Pokémon or Skyrim, choose-your-own-adventure style books, and drawing or writing when I’m able. Alex * Elder sister; got into ttrpgs before COVID when we were teenagers, after being allowed to mess with our Dad’s old books when we were teenagers. Had a resurance during Covid and played with me. * Has some social anxiety and takes time to get comfortable with a group, but does so fairly quickly and is able to play through the anxiety. * Her biggest interests are fantastical fantasy stories with atleast a happyish ending, Pokémon, and random animal facts with a focus on dogs. She is also full of mythology facts. Aaron * Father of the bunch; mostly played TTRPGs as a teenager and young adult, but in the few months spent trying to get back into playing, he agreed to do a group, and years before GMed for his daughters when we were teenagers. * A big fan of cryptids and random knowledge. Something will just pique his interest, and he’ll read about it and can speak about a lot of different things that aren't sports. * His biggest interests are H.P. Lovecraft works and works inspired by his stories, Campy and Terrifying Horror films mostly from the 80s, and Music mostly from before the 2000s of all kinds.
