Newish DM looking to hone his skills by DMing one of the starting modules of DND, Phandelver and Below: The Shattered Obelisk. This module includes the classic Lost Mine of Phandelver meant for players new to DND, and expands the module into a full on campaign. While I have some DM experience, I'm always working to improve my craft and appreciate players who are patient and collaborative. I would appreciate a group full of other new people and/or people early in their dnd journey. WHO ARE YOU: I am looking for other people new to DND, or at the very least beginners who want to try their hand at a longer module and dive deeper into the mechanics and lore. I’m looking for players who: -        Enjoy collaborative storytelling -        Share the spotlight with fellow players -        Communicate respectfully -        Demonstrate patience in learning the system -        Demonstrate patience with the DM as he may make some mistakes -        Want to contribute to a fun table atmosphere This is an inclusive table. Respect for fellow players is expected, and bigotry, harassment, or hate speech will not be tolerated. WHO AM I? As your humble dm, I will want to reach out and get to know your ideas for your potential characters and what you’re looking for in a campaign. I try to make things as balanced as I can, but I would say this campaign is going to be 60% exploration and 40% combat. Combat encounters may be challenging and will often reward teamwork, planning, and creative problem-solving.
