Brotherhood of the Dice is a group of friends who get together to play tabletop RPGs, mostly leaning into horror with a sprinkling of fantasy and sci-fi. We run games like Call of Cthulhu, Mothership, The Dee Sanction, Dead of Night, Electric State, Pirate Borg, Dragonbane, and Outgunned, throwing in the occasional curveball with something more quirky like Land of Eem when we feel like changing things up. As most of our games lean heavily into horror, they tend to favour a serious tone, but when things go off the rails, chaos and hilarity are never far behind. Which is just part of the fun. The Story Four years post gap, Absalom Station is failing. After The Awakening, societal upheaval began to fracture the station, culminating with the shattering of the Eye. Now three years later, resources are becoming scarce and those who remain are starting to get desperate. Not only have gangs been growing rapidly, but strange creatures and monsters have begun appearing all over the station. Residents form small communities to try to weather the increasingly post-apocalyptic landscape they find themselves in. In an abandoned neighborhood in the Arms, a small community of survivors huddle awake in a commandeered community center in the dead of the night. Tipped off that a local gang’s arrival is imminent, the center’s newest (level 0) members are tasked to defend their new home. Our crew of survivors must level-up and find a way to survive and thrive in their new post gap reality.

Narrantium is a browser-based virtual tabletop built around the story rather than grids and tokens: the DM assembles branching scenes, maps, NPCs, music and combat encounters into a playable adventure using a visual quest builder, then runs it live. Players join the session from any browser with an invite link — no account, no install — so it works for remote tables and in person too, with the Player Screen cast to a TV. OpenFray is a free, open-source combat console for Game Masters running Dungeons and Dragons 5e games. It is an initiative tracker that holds the whole encounter. It opens in a browser tab, needs nothing installed, and works without an account. Signing in is free, and it carries a Game Master's fights between devices. It keeps the parts of an encounter that are easiest to lose track of: initiative order, hit points, conditions and effects, concentration, and monster resources such as legendary actions, recharge abilities and spell slots. Effects have two ends, so OpenFray knows both who has advantage and who is granting it, and works that into the rolls. Every roll goes through one place and is logged with the dice behind it. A whole group can make one saving throw at once, with each creature's resistances and immunities already worked in. The table gets a screen of its own. A shared link lets the players follow the turn order and the game log on their phones, showing only what the Game Master chooses to give away. The built-in compendium ships the 2024 and 2014 rules, with opt-in libraries from Kobold Press and OpenFray's own books. Creatures and spells can be built by hand, pasted in as JSON, or taken from a D&D Beyond stat block with the free browser add-on. Compatible with Dungeons and Dragons 5.5e and 5e.
