Looking to get into D&D? Looking for a campaign that is queer/neurodivergent friendly? Look no further! I'm Rune, a 23 year old neurodivergent trans guy from the U.K., looking to DM a long campaign in my homebrew world. As a new DM, I want to adapt the game to the players and the story we tell: as such, 'rules' are stated from the beginning but developed over time. This makes it a perfect campaign for anyone who hasn't really started D&D - or experienced D&D players who don't mind clumsy rule-making! Why join? D&D is a somewhat intimidating hobby to start: sometimes, the rules feel overwhelming. This campaign mostly plays by D&D rules, but due to being homebrew & beginner, means mistakes and adaptations are expected and even exciting! You SHOULD consider joining if you (a) enjoy fantasy worlds, (b) enjoy developing characters, (c) think you might be / are definitely interested in D&D, (d) love roleplay or storytelling in any capacity, and/or (e) want to have a lot of fun with a lot of cool people! The World: Welcome to Cazaras, a high-fantasy world where magicians (magic-users) and humans and many other races live in restless discontent. With a war against magic itself looming on the horizon, and the four southern kingdoms at each others' throats, and strange prophecies appearing for the first time, this is a world where anything can happen. While the magic system is developed, different kingdoms have different ideas and understandings of what is magically possible. Cazaras wants a hero. Cazaras needs someone (or many someones) to change things. The campaign will follow our group of heroes as they traverse the kingdoms of Arzule and Orillium, seeking ways to end the Neverwar before it begins... or, perhaps, to incite it. With tensions high and magic torn, it's only a matter of time before something breaks. Will it be your group? Only time will tell. Dates / times Working in British Summer Time (GMT +1), I have a very adaptable schedule and can run sessions any time between 8am and 11pm. Sessions would be weekly, or every other week, depending on what suits players. I plan on this campaign being long, though am adaptable to what the story requires.
