Set in the Forgotten Realms, starting at level 8 in the forgotten frontier region of the Border Kingdoms. The party are seasoned travelers converging at a remote village, where things long bound are working their way back up to the surface. The opening session puts the central tension in motion immediately: old protections are failing in places nobody has paid attention to in centuries, and what the party uncovers there is the first thread. Themes include corruption, secrecy, old powers, and the consequences of forgotten history. Currently 2 confirmed players (3rd pending), looking to round out to 4-5 total.
