Otherworld is a Fantasy Adventure Wargame that used the original 1974 rules of Dungeons and Dragons, as well as Chainmail 3rd Edition, in the context in which they are written.  That is: a sprawling, 50+ player Fantasy Adventure Wargames Campaign Braunstein.

Hello everyone my friend Dungeoneer is hosting a DOLMENWOOD BRAUNSTEIN! What does that mean? It means you can begin the game by having almost all of the factions in the Campaign Book played by other players in opposition under a fog of war. It's done in an easy Free Kriegspiel style (meaning it's open ended and concept based rather than crunchy) and orders can be a few sentences bi-weekly. The joy of a Braunstein Campaign is seeing the wild collisions and convergences, and all while that is going on Adventurers roam the map in the Dolmenwood adventure game.
