Dolmenwood! Seeking players for a unique campaign experience unlike any other! Experienced Dolmenwood Referee, has ran and played in several Dolmenwood adventures and campaigns over the years. New players are absolutely welcome!  This is a great place to start. We can help with accessing the basic rules to play. Play in a Campaign Braunstein where most of the Patrons are played by actual players and dozens of other players roam the map Basically like a pencil and paper MMO. This isn't an idea, this is already happening and it's a blast! The book keeping is online for your character, play can be in person if you are in the local area near North Grand Prairie TX. What kind of player am I looking for? - Probably not the best place for someone who can't handle a dash of male gamer culture. - If you can be kind and are here to game, it doesn't matter who you are, I want to game with you. - The game requires a lot of adult maturity and stability.  Very mature and adult themes.  Players have total autonomy when acting play-by-post including up to trying to bed the Baron's wife (without the details and florid writing), assassinating other player characters and making deals with demons. - Players need to have an open mind, this is a Braunstein.  It's a major, dimensional leap forward in how an RPG campaign works and destroys some of the “sacred cows” of RPG gaming.  I do not promise the outcome you want for your character, I do promise that those engaged will have open to them a vibrant and truly living world where it's elements are driven by players more than DM fiat, I do promise the seemingly impossible: total player autonomy. (Online sessions are recorded and in person pictures are taken of the event to share.  No one needs to consent to having their picture taken though just let me know in advance, and for online you may have your video off and go by a handle.  Video is preferred, it helps!) Otherworld is a Fantasy Adventure Wargame that used the original 1974 rules of Dungeons and Dragons, as well as Chainmail 3rd Edition, in the context in which they are written.  That is: a sprawling, 50+ player Fantasy Adventure Wargames Campaign Braunstein.

Hello everyone my friend Dungeoneer is hosting a DOLMENWOOD BRAUNSTEIN! What does that mean? It means you can begin the game by having almost all of the factions in the Campaign Book played by other players in opposition under a fog of war. It's done in an easy Free Kriegspiel style (meaning it's open ended and concept based rather than crunchy) and orders can be a few sentences bi-weekly. The joy of a Braunstein Campaign is seeing the wild collisions and convergences, and all while that is going on Adventurers roam the map in the Dolmenwood adventure game.
