Hi all, I recently tried to put together a D&D group and it’s started to grow into something a bit bigger than just one campaign. Because of that, I’ve set up a Discord community for players and DMs who want a space to: Discuss character builds Get help refining backstories Talk rules and mechanics Share worldbuilding ideas Connect for future games Right now it’s centered around 5e (2014 and 2024), but all experience levels are welcome — especially newer players who want guidance without being talked down to. One of the main features is a dedicated Character Workshop forum channel where people can post their character concepts and get feedback, suggestions, and mechanical help from others. Hi everyone, I’m putting together a new online D&D 5e group for a homebrew campaign. I’m a newer DM and still learning the ropes, so I’m looking for players who are patient, collaborative, and interested in building something together over time. The game will be online. I’ll be relocating in the future, so starting online now means we won’t have to rebuild the group later. I'd like to begin with Session Zero to create characters together, go over expectations, and get to know each other before jumping into the campaign. Schedule will likely be either Wednesday evenings or Sunday afternoon/evening We’ll settle on the final time based on group availability.
