Teenage friends/family—(players)—had spent months secretly building Prime: a hulking, mismatched tank pieced together from junkyard scrap. Armed with homemade smoke and incendiary launchers, jury-rigged drones, and a few scavenged fire axes, she was ugly, loud, and theirs. The group had been gifted with a unique and fantastic ability, Clan Hall.  Before them appeared a simple blue screen with certain details and tabs on it.  This ability registered them as elders and gave them access to certain abilities and capabilities. This included quests that earned them clan points, which at the moment didn't have much use except for fueling an ability discovered in the tab named Portal. Most of the quests were related to the construction of the tank and preparation for opening a portal, the rules seemed straight forward.  An opened portal would only last 15 seconds opened, it would open to a random world, and any previously visited world would be registered and could be revisited. That Friday, the last day of school, they decided to go through and open the portal for the first time.
