Rebuild a ruined frontier fortress
You're Knights of the Keystone, an old martial order sent where the realm is failing to make it hold. You've just been assigned to the House of Ulgrath: a crumbling chapterhouse on a frontier mostly forgotten by the Order. The roads aren't safe, the walls are failing, the villages are emptying out, and there's a shrine in the cellars nobody wants to explain.
Your orders: restore the House, secure the roads, protect the settlements, push outward. How you do it is up to you.
What this game is:
Human Fighters, Clerics, and Paladins only, starting at level 3. Everyone is a Knight of the same Order. We start as a party, not four strangers in a tavern.
Sessions are for the road, the ruins, and whatever lives in them. Exploration, dungeon crawls, tactical fights, and dealing with people who don't trust you yet.
The rebuilding happens between sessions, not at the table. Each Knight declares what they're working on, and it shows up on the map. Nobody rolls to repair a road. Gold buys bridges and militia, not just +1 swords.
A world that changes. Succeed and a settlement grows outside your walls. Fail and the map gets smaller. Bastion rules once the House is worth calling one.
Emergent story, not a plot. I prep situations, factions, and secrets. You decide what happens.
A dangerous world with real villains. Not everything is level-appropriate. Sometimes the monster is just a monster.
Tone: PG-13. Violence and hard choices, not gore or cruelty for its own sake. We'll do lines and veils at Session Zero, and anything you want off the table stays off it.
Looking for: friendly, reliable adults who like exploration, problem-solving, dungeon crawls, tactical decisions, and building something over time. Newer players welcome. Roll20 for maps, Discord for voice/video.

If this sounds like your kind of table, DM me with a bit about yourself, your RPG experience, and what part of the premise grabbed you. I'll set up a short Discord chat with anyone who seems like a fit before sending server invites.
Bring a sword. And a shovel.
