Heyo, I’m Tsar! I’m looking for a consistent weekly online game with a strong focus on roleplay and collaborative storytelling. I have over 30 years of experience across a variety of systems, though I still consider myself “intermediate” in many of them since there is always more to learn. I tend to enjoy unusual or unconventional character concepts, especially those exploring how others react to characters who might be misunderstood. I’m often drawn to support-oriented roles such as healers, buffers, or facilitators, and I’ve been told I think outside the box and bring creative approaches to problem-solving. I enjoy sandbox or open-world campaigns, but I’m just as happy playing through published adventures. Most of all, I’m hoping to join a game where the party’s choices meaningfully impact the world and to make some new friends along the way. Availability: Weeknights (Mon–Thurs) or anytime on Sundays. Palladium: I’ve been playing and running Palladium games since the 1980s, and not just their Fantasy setting. Hi, I'm Patchwork. I'm a 20-something geek who enjoys spending his time on various TTRPGs. My previous group fell apart due to scheduling issues, as most do, so I'm here looking for something new! I'm mostly into the roleplaying aspect of tabletop games, I enjoy immersing myself in whatever character and world I'm put into, and bouncing off party hijinks! I usually put a lot of effort and a decent amount of writing into my characters and their backstories, but I usually do that as a creative writing exercise, and never expect a DM to know it front-to-back (I always put a summarization/TL;DR first). But if you do, all the better! In terms of systems and experience with VTTs, you can already see what systems I've looked into/played, and I've gamed a bunch in Roll20 and Foundry, so I'll have no issues navigating either of those VTTs. But if you have something new, I'm always willing to learn! As for the kind of games I'm looking for, I've been playing Fantasy for quite a long time now, and I'm hoping to get into some Sci-fi settings, and trying out systems in that niche. Hello, I'm Sriracha. Most has been said by my friend Claire in her post. I was exposed to vtm in 2013 when I watched a youtuber play vtm bloodlines. Didn't know exactly anything about vtm until later in 2024 the same year I played the actual tabletop verison. I slightly know a little bit more of v20 than v5 but know them pretty equally. For DND I was inspired by watching critical role and at first dnd didn't really look too appealing but the more I looked into it I regained that interest. Until 2024 I started my first campaign which was curse of strahd and it was pretty fun. I played as a human circle of stars druid. Character concepts: VTM: a Lasombra who potentially disguises herself as a nun. A salubri who worked as a nurse and would steal people’s medical history for money, or sell organs on the black market. DND: Satyr glamour bard, tabaxi soul knife rogue that is inspired by chesire the cat.

Greetings! My name is Martin, 30 years old, born and raised in Germany, although I had a few international stints in London (UK) and New Zealand. Campaign: I work two shifts in a weekly rhythm. So I am looking for either: A bi-weekly campaign during the work week, starting earliest 3pm (CET) Or on saturdays/sundays starting around the same time (though I can be flexible on the weekends) What I look for in a campaign is a good mix of roleplay and exploration of (ideally) homebrewed worlds. I love to get into the weeds of how religions formed, how societes interact with eachother and how the literal mechanics of arcana work in your world. I love to explore and get to know mysteries and happenings in an actual world that I can immerse myself into. I think combat should be a mechanic to get to know your characters mechanics as well as storytelling tools to further a plot or a characters ambitions. I do not like to combat every session but I would rather have 3-4 sessions without it and then hunger for it to beat up some baddies (or allies, if they misbehave). Players: I want my fellow players to immerse themselves in their characters and be able to play a role that they encompass in the party. I do not like too many OOC jokes or banter, although of course thats part of having fun with the fellow humans that inhabit characters. I also want my companions to be able to step out of their personal comfort zone and explore the ambigious morals of a characters journey in a world where there isn't necessarily a right or wrong, but a spectrum of choices. I also appreciate if my partners in crime push my characters decisions and beliefs to the brink of one might call dangerous. I am also always up for some 1 on 1 time with the characters if they want to talk IC (either in chat or in session) to explore their characters feelings. DM: Although a big influence on my tabletop journey has been informed by Critical Role and other actual plays, I know rarely anybody is a Matthew Mercer or Brennan Lee Mulligan. But I appreciate a slower pace although a bigger narrative is also appreciated, if it's well thought out and not too flat. Generally I appreciate a mix of narrative driven urgency, sprinkled with instances of Sandbox, where characters can explore their personal goals/beliefs/revenge fantasies. If you have any question on what my favourite media are that inspire a lot of my characters choices, or what my personal highlight of a sessions was, I will accomodate you! Hi everyone! I'm a literature and RPG nerd who works as a teacher during the day and studies history and Nordic languages on the side. I have a small makerspace at home where my 3D printers hum along daily. As an arts and crafts teacher, I make a lot of different things day-to-day and always try to stay creative. I'm 34M in Bournemouth UK and over the last 5 years I've run a multi year 5e campaign as DM and am now running another with 5.5e, me and my players only get to play on Fridays or Saturdays that work for all of us which can be a struggle sometimes but I need more dice rolling in my life! So I'm looking to join a game as a player. I'm up for anything, silly, serious or a mix and enjoy both combat and roleplay and would love to have both but am fine if the game leans more heavily on either. I don't have any topics or sensitive subjects that I'd need to be avoided but am happy to play with them for the comfort of the DM and fellow players. I work nights and stick to this routine for days off so would ideally play in the evenings in the UK or any time in the US/Canada. Full disclosure my work is shift based but in a fixed pattern so I know my availability way in advance and the niche shifts I work means I get plenty of days off (I work 7 in 17 days, 3 on 5 off followed by 4 on 5 off). Experienced player looking for a new (weekly) group. I've ran long campaigns and played in them. I prefer an older crowd. I can get along with anyone, but I prefer everyone at the table to be able to legally drink a beer. I like a mix of roleplay and combat, with some exploration and puzzle solving mixed in. I'm open to playing other RPG's but I know DnD the best. I don't mind playing with inexperienced players. I don't mind contributing financially for books, VTT, or other necessities, but I'm not interested in paying to play. The type of game I enjoy is one that isn't the same every session. I'm perfectly fine with a session that has one fight that takes all session. I'm also fine with only roleplay. Mix it up, it fights the rut. I also like to vary between serious and fun. Every session doesn't have to be super serious, and every session shouldn't be all joking. I'm team oriented. Hi! Hi! Been wearing the GM hat exclusively for a bit too long and I am currently game-less save for Play-by-Discord games. The PbD game in question is in a Westmarches-like living world campaign shared with many other players, and so I'd be interested in smaller, more deciated groups. Preferrably for real-time games via FoundryVTT or other virtual tabletop environment. I've been playing TTRPGs for over a decade now. Though my focus has been on Pathfinder 1st and 2nd edition, I have played games of OSR, Dungeon Crawl Classics, Inspectrers and Dungeon World. As I write this I am looking longingly at my Cairn 2e, Ironsworn, and Blades in the Dark books that I am yet to use. I own and am quite familiar with Foundry. My mic is pretty good (need it for my job so I use it every day), and have a decent internet connection and PC. I also own Tabletop simulator and am familiar with owlbear rodeo. I am sure I can learn any other medium you might use to play the game. Lately I have been playing solo games both in Pathfinder and other systems, from which I've learned how wonderful it is to ask questions to the dice and see where things take you. This is to say I am developing a penchant for improvisation and diagetic progression. A few months ago I got into dungeon and dragons. I watched people play, I played some one shots, and even got to DM one session. I realized I like both combat and roleplaying but roleplaying is what makes me love D&D. The infinit possibilitis. I am in university and an english major so I like to creatively write, all of this is like fuel to me. I am a very open minded person willing to atleast try something once. Homebrew or official. However strange the adventure, I look forward to it. I am an adult so I am ok with mature tones, topics, and other such things. And I will of course respect all those I play with. To fix that, i'm looking for stuff i haven't played before. i'm particularly interested in Shadowdark and other OSR games, right now, and also a cool cyberpunk game (the setting, though i will totally also try Cyberpunk, the RPG). i have a lot of experience playing all kinds of systems, but mostly DnD, Pathfinder 2e, and PbtA games. i have a lot of time on my hands, particularly on weekday mornings (CET). i'm not unwilling to DM, but i really only have experience with prepared campaigns, so far, so i'm still mostly a beginner.

Hey I just joined here and I'm looking for some DnD game in ruleset of 5e 2014 version, preferably more long term thing. Important for me that group is 18+ and do I need to add LGBT+ friendly? We are all people in the end and on top of that, when we are in RP I talk to you trough my character to you trough yours. I'm not feeling that comfortable with roleplaying in VC that's why I prefer text based games, it just feels more safe and comfortable for me. In terms of my experience. There is not much to it, most of games I joined ended rather quickly, be it because other people stopped coming without saying anything, DM just poofed out of existance. As far as I can remember I quitted 1 game, mostly because it was just too much for me, can tell more in private I see no reason to say more here. So, yeah... 57 male. Looking for one shots to start so that I can get acclimated to the rules, but eventually would like to find a long term campaign with a long term group. I prefer role-play heavy over mechanics, though I'd prefer to play in a well-defined system, whether by the book or homebrew. Not interested in disorganized or make it up as you go systems. Once I am comfortable with a given system, I'd be happy to take turns as GM/DM. I'm open to all sorts of groups and players. Sexual orientation, gender identity, race, etc., don't matter to me as much as a good group of like-minded individuals. If it matters to you, I am a cis hetero male, atheist, liberal, but what does that have to do with a role playing game, anyway? Real life personalities/preferences are best left at the door. Age of group members is not as important as maturity. It's fun to be silly on occasion, but I don't enjoy it as a regular modus operandi. Prefer adventure-driven campaigns that focus on questing and discovery. Prefer fantasy/swords and sorcery systems, but willing to explore other systems if the group is right. Not interested in war games, but open to the occasional board game night as a change of pace. My availability for the time being is mostly Wednesday evenings, Friday evenings, and pretty much any time on the weekends as part of a regular schedule or with a few days' notice. I own several digital copies of rulebooks including D&D 5e, Pathfinder 2e, Cyberpunk Red and various others. Give me a holler if any of this jives with what your group needs. I’ve been gaming a long time. By 15 (in 1995) I was a Games Rep, running demos at conventions. I love TTRPGs, whether player or GM. I just want a table that actually plays. System-wise, I like indie and old-school games, with enough crunch that every character and build feels mechanically unique and satisfying. That said, I’ll play narrative systems too. I care less about the label and more about whether the game does what it claims it does. Tone-wise, I think the best games have a healthy mix of insane hilarity, fantastical impossibility, and the horrors of reality. Just enough to make it feel real before it gets unreal. If it’s all comedy, it’s weightless. If it’s all grim, it’s depressing. I want the mix, on purpose. I’m a professional fiction writer with decades of experience. At the table, this means good improvisation skills and idea generation, as well as a good sense of story hooks and structure. If you’re creative and you communicate, we’ll get on great! One-shots, arcs, or campaigns. GM or player.
