I've experience with DnD 5e so not a newbie to TTRPGs in general, but I would like to try out one of the World of Darkness games, such as Hunter, Mage, or Vampire, after seeing the online show 'Hunter: The Parenting', a fun yet heartfelt show set in WoD.
