Hey everyone! We are a group of 4 players, who have come together to tackle the first and most difficult quest of all: find a GM... to then hopefully tackle many more! A little about us as a group: We are all in our mid-20s+ and come from different parts of Europe. We know each other for very different amounts of times (from childhood friends, playing together for around 1 year all the way to just joining together for this group), but we have played some sessions together so we built some chemistry together! Everyone has played a little bit, but most of us have only recently started playing PF2E. What are we looking for?: We are mostly looking to have a fun time with some nice mix of RP and combat. Basically just a pretty standard game. We are very open and excited to run through almost any AP or homebrew setting you feel like running! Only exceptions would be AV and SoT as Faraday knows those already Quick inidividual player rundown: Bread: Mostly ok with a lot of things mechanically but strictly prefers to play melee frontline classes. Not new to TTRPGs but very new to Pathfinder. I can get very invested in the story and love to roleplay and fight according to the story. Faraday/John: The most experienced with PF2E of the group. Note taker, plot hook follower who knows the shiny red button sometimes needs to be pushed, fun loving guy. Also hates having Charisma as a dump stat Wadoder: Also has a lot of experience with different TTRPGS, but only recently got into Pathfinder (after I gave him the final push and recruited him). He can come up with some very crazy and chaotic characters and you often wont know what hes up to next Advocate (me): I recently found my love for PF2E, its crunchier rules and especially the character customization. I mostly enjoy playing spellcasters, especially the Witch followed by Summoner! While at first you'll have to deal with a strange gremlin infestation or fight off giant insects, seemingly unconnected threats will start coming together, to reveal a far larger threat, not only to the school, but to the world! 🌳 Unique Location 🪘 The Mwangi Expanse, where the game takes place, is heavily inspired by African culture and heritage, which makes it distinct from the more traditional Eurocentric, medieval-inspired setting that most Adventure Paths present, giving it its own unique flair and flavor. 🎲 Full Level Experience 📚 Unlike most modern APs, the Strength of Thousands Adventure Path covers the full range from level 1 to level 20. Grow from humble beginnings to legends! ⚔️ DEI Friendly ✊🏿 The Magaambya is a very inclusive place, and you will find all kinds of unusual creatures here. Ancestries like undead or artificial ones are welcome, as long as they play by the same rules that apply to everyone else. And even traditionally non-magical classes like fighters or rogues will have their place in the academy! 🚫 Comparison to that "other" magic school (you know which one) 🚫 This is not a place for children. Your characters are all adults, albeit young ones are quite possible. Yet there is no age restriction and quite a few students come to the Magaambya in their later years. One man's greed and lust for power led his entire city to be dragged to hell. Now, whoever said hell, can't be fun, hasn't played the Descent into Avernus. This campaign takes everything that you would expect from a game with this name, a small romp through a city that soon leads to a Mad Max style escapade throughout the first layer of Hell. Fighting both demons and devils to save a city. With no military affiliation to speak of, you do this for the love of the game. This campaign is so grandiose that you can fight not just one, but two seperate Gods. Whilst this campaign does take place in Hell. Make no mistake, there is plenty of room for comedic shenanigans.
