Kirjeldus

Hi there! I’m running a small open-world, sandbox-style West Marches game using Cairn 2e with some homebrew rules for a more narrative-driven experience. I currently have 1–2 spots open. This is a none ERP server but I prefer to play with adults, thus 18+. The game focuses on exploration, discovery, and player-driven adventures. What one group discovers or changes can affect the world for everyone else. We use a mix of PBP and VC. PBP is mainly for downtime and character interactions, while expeditions can be VC when schedules line up or PBP if that’s easier. I’m in HST, so please keep the time difference in mind if you’re interested in VC. I’m looking for collaborative players who want to help shape both their characters and the world, engage with other people’s ideas, and give feedback as the game develops. Newer players are welcome. The setting is post-post-apocalyptic far-future fantasy. Think Adventure Time mixed with Studio Ghibli: a harsh, barren wasteland on the surface, with a strange, colorful, almost Underdark-like world hidden below. It’s hopeful, weird, and focused on discovering what survived and what grew afterward. I’d love for it to eventually grow into a larger West Marches game, but mostly I’m looking for a few people who want to try it out with me. If this sounds like your jam, contact me on Discord or here on Groupfinder.

I want to run some Cairn 2e adventures, either as one-shots or strung together in a campaign. Searching for 3-5 players that would be interested in playing via discord voicechat either weekly or bi-weekly on saturdays or sundays. Sessions would be 2-3 hours long. Free to join, you do not have to pay! If you are interested, or have any questions, please reach out! -Knees Sidenote: Players should be 18+

HI! It's me! Water Enjoyer! I've been spending the last five to two years of my already occupied time occasionally throwing up in a corner! This corner's since become overflown with my slop and has blossomed into an ENJOYABLE PRODUCT which is being shared now! The UNALTERED MOON System, Which, for people who like sniffing out anagrams, is in fact meaning that this is a TTRPG set in the world of DELTARUNE, with a custom-made system designed for this very world! What is it, how does it function? Those are normal questions to be asking me! ENTIRELY SKILL-BASED*, with no rolls (except for a very rare 8ball-based chance mechanic) or stats (outside of combat) whatsoever*, meaning that your ability to interact with the world is determined solely by your own choices, and whatever you've given your character; utilizing the* CLAIMS System*, a system I developed for effective conflict resolution via powerscaling!* CHOCK-FULL OF COMMISSIONED / SELF-MADE CUSTOM CONTENT, with an immense amount of effort thrown into this; featuring over 70+ custom NPC designs*, a whole* original soundtrack from a musician who liked my concepts so much they decided to make music for me for free because I'm that goated, and all maps made in Inkarnate! A MODERATELY EXPERIENCED DM, me! I've been playing for five years and DMing for three, but my players think I'm a gift from god so that has to count for something! INBUILT ARGs & MULTIMEDIA CONTENT, to best immerse you in the whole 'interfacing with this world' vibe the games go for! While it's not a necessary component, if you like your lore convoluted and your rabbit holes ever-deepening, I'm yours! A GROSSLY FLESHED OUT ~200 PERSON POPULATION SUBURBAN TOWN TO EXPLORE, which leans hard into Pacific Northwestern slop with a general early-2000's air about it! It's basically just America, but I gave it a funny new name, and it's technically in the same world as DELTARUNE! NO AI INVOLVED, which sucks that that's even something that needs to be specified in this world anymore! All the subpar imagery you'll see, rest assured, was made by my big sloppy hands covered in my aforementioned bile! You'll be playing as a nearly-graduated High School senior in the Wakefield Township, the third safest town in the state, who acts as a bastion of suburbia and nothinburgeritude in an otherwise idyllic coniferous landscape! The actual plot? That's quite literally for you to decide; while I control the uncontrollables*, the* hidden schemes and greater forces and fellow neighbors of this world, these plots are not apparent. As such, this campaign's been carefully structured to first establish your own ties to this world, and then progress from there! All will be explained in the document linked at the bottom of this page! Before looking into this any further, make sure you're in line with the following parameters; - Must be between the ages of 18 and 26 to participate! - Must have access to Discord, OwlBearRodeo, and Steam! - Session times are Sundays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM PST! These times cannot change! If you wanna learn more, click the link below; that link will then take you to a Google Form. Fill that out, attach your Discord username when it asks to, and wait! I'll be accepting applications from now until September 24th; after which, I'll do the screenings / slopnot from then to October 1st at the latest! I'm looking for three people, with slots open to backup actors for side-roles of importance; so, chances are that if I like you a lot, I'll find a nice place to shove you in, even if you don't "make it" to the main party! Thank you for watching my dream! Do NOT reply to this post asking to join, as this is not how the sign-on process works and I will feel bad for not replying! Feel free to reply with interest so people recognize me for my brilliance! Click me! I'm a Google Doc! Trust me!

Intro to Terra If you’re coming from Faerûn, think of Terra as a vast continent that used to feel like one big, functioning empire. A tradition of feudalism, with noble "High Lord" houses ruling over their regions. All offering allegiance to a central authority, the most powerful noble house, Arista, and crowned it's leader as the First Lord. So the Legend Goes At the dawn of this world, the Gods watched our people struggle to survive in an unforgiving world - Early settlements decimated by violent storms. Explorers slaughtered by ferocious beasts. To have a chance at survival, these benevolent Gods gifted the lands with powerful spirits. And for the inhabitants, an ability to bond with these spirits. As these lands were conquered, creatures brought over were quickly surpassed by Humans, who found they could tame and even command these spirits. For thousands of years, these settlers fought and struggled to secure as much power for themselves as possible. Anarchy, chaos, and endless bloodshed, with the most vulnerable most at risk. It was not until those wielding the most powerful elemental magic banded together that law and order was able to form. Rather than fighting each other, they spread across the lands in a uniform effort to end the violence. Forming what are now known to be the High Lords of Terra. These High Lords rallied behind the most powerful among them, First Lord of House Arista. For generations, there was peace among the world. Humans across Terra in harmony with one another and their spirit blessings, working together to build great cities, sprawling farmlands, relying on each other for protection. The Civil War starts... Nearly one hundred years ago, tragedy struck when the First Lord passed away, leaving behind two sons with competing claims to the throne. The older son, born of an illegitimate affair with the High Lady of House Kalara, vied for the throne against his younger brother, son to the First Lord's wife. The conflict immediately turned bloody amongst the High Lords. On one side stood the loyalists, supporting House Arista and the rightful heir to the throne as appointed by the King's betrothed. On the other stood the would be usurping traditionalists, who sought to uphold the laws of succession. They rallied behind House Kalara. Now, a century later, the realm remains divided, locked in a never-ending struggle for power and dominance. The loyalist houses of Teos, Retosia, and Pytion stand firm in their support of House Arista, while the traditionalist houses of Sultern, Rhodes, and Toria remain steadfast in their allegiance to House Kalara. As the conflict rages on, the fate of the realm hangs in the balance. One thing is certain - It cannot survive another century of civil war. A Forgotten Evil Stirs... While the realm is torn apart by war, a new shadow rises. Mysterious disappearances reported near the uninhabited forest. Legend of an undisturbed kingdom made of wax in it's center. Ghost stories of an ancient evil laying dormant... now waking up. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello! Looking to stretch myself and finally start a new table with a homebrew I've been putting together for a few years. Looking for players that are in a similar timezone (PST). I'm also a parent, so would be looking for evening sessions after kiddos are asleep (~7pm PST). The world's lore is loosely inspired by Jim Butcher's Codex Alera series, mashed together with Faerun. Familiarity with source material is not required or expected at all. Lore will be provided on this world, and the unique elemental powers ALL characters will have access to... With this world, there will be some restrictions on the Player Characters. All playable characters at this time will be Humans. Most classes are workable, though the system really lends itself to Martials/Half-Casters. I would highly recommend using one of those. I'm not a major Rules Lawyer, big believer in Rule-of-Cool and being adaptable. Improvising and leaning into the roleplay is where the magic happens. There will challenging, purposeful combat but not a meat-grinder style of a campaign. Getting the right dynamic is very important to me, so will definitely be intentional. Would also love some diversity (both in character and out of character) at the table. If this sounds interesting, please reach back out! Would be happy to discuss further and share more info on the lore to make sure it's a good fit. Regardless, best of luck to you on finding the right table. :) Cheers, Windy
