Looking for player interested in testing custom game system via narrative roleplay and learning the system itself. Grasianil: Custom D6-based system utilizing Maptool primarily, heavily stream-lined to support large, quick battles. Versatility allows vehicles, mechs, and spaceships, utilizing unique mechanics, in-addition to single players. Minimal delays owing to macros within Maptool, utilizing pop-up menus, automatic calculation of damage, debuffs, armor, etc. Highly adaptable, with streamlined rules offering as much complexity as is desired, and based on the setting. Developed by myself and my partner who passed away earlier this year. Supports several original fantasy and sci fi worlds of varying types, from traditional western high fantasy, to detailed low fantasy, from space opera-style sci fi, to more realistic settings. In-addition to original settings not listed here, it has been adapted to: Legend of Zelda Battletech Middle Earth Forgotten Realms Mystara Shadowrun and Cyberpunk Pre-existing settings are not played strictly-canon, but consistency is stressed. Medium amount of experience in RPing requested, as well as an open mind to learn a new system. Maptool 1.11.5 needed, Discord used primarily for all text but other programs are an option, Google sheets used for some settings. Time-zone of GM is US Central. RPing otherwise done via text on Discord, but other options open to discussion. I'm looking for a DM who takes requests or is looking to learn by using an existing homebrew world for a group with six players. I have a game world already mostly put together that I used as a DM but would like to take from the player's side in this instance, the game is an amalgam of various existing nerd culture franchises such as Star Wars, Marvel, DC and anime where the characters and lore exist simultaneously and always have which create a unique setting rich with possibilities for the players to adventure and explore. Final Fantasy - Prima TTRPG: FF4e Number of Players: 2/5~6 Time and Date: TBD (Saturday 11am-5:30pm / Sunday 11am-5:30pm) Mountain Standard Time. Session length: 4-7 Hours. DMing style: Story Focused and Character Choice driven Sandbox style. Minimum game knowledge: Proficiency in Roll20, Character Voice prefered. Required platforms: Discord VC, Roll 20. Restrictions: 19+, Requires audible microphone. Content warning: Character backstories may allude to darker themes and subjects. This content will never be actively occurring. Homebrew: Initiative Tweaks, additional Roles and Personal Powers, training and growth systems. Story: 'Final Fantasy: Prima' takes place in two distinct realms, the Shattered Lands- a home of flying nations & continents, and Prima- a recently discovered, secondary world parallel to the Shattered Lands. While the Shattered Lands suffers from overpopulation in their limited landmass, Prima suffers from being overran by wicked Daemons. You, as a native to the Shattered Lands, will have to navigate your own hurdles and challenges alongside your fellow adventurers to completing a completely sandbox narrative built around you. Notes: This campaign contains an optional usage of Threads for the usage of 1-on-1 character roleplay. This RP Chat may be used by players to speak with NPCs or other PCs during off-session-hours in addition to what's covered in game.
